I was wondering, can we choose a different faction that actually doesn't own that specific city? Example: I choose Lannister as my faction, but want Winterfell as my capitol. I'm thinking probably not, but sine you don't have the other map online with the faction territories, it made me wonder. |

For this season, yes. The faction boundary thing was a bit confusing for new members (people who hadn't read the series), and for this season I'm just letting you start wherever you want. However, once next season rolls around, it'll be back to fixed starting places (a lot of the updates for Season 2 will require fixed starting positions). Although that transition might be a bit confusing, I wanted to attract the widest variety of new-comers as possible. I'm assuming that after this season we'll see a decrease in the new members that come to join (we'll have a solid score of people or so I'm assuming, with just a few newbies deciding to join). However, if you want to stay true to the books, I'd suggest you start off somewhere within Lannister lands. |

Is it too late to join. The last player to join seemed to be an exception so I'm assuming it is. If so please let me know if and when you will be doing this again. |
