I have one last question. Ever heard of historical fiction?

True, true, though I think I like Wayne's made-pirates more than I would like historical fiction, though he techinally hasn't done historical fiction yet. |

I have a feeling there might be a third book. If you take the hint from the part after the Edward Teach part. Then again, it could end there, and we'll just have to imagine what'll happen after.

I think that it could go either way, but I don't think we'll see another one for a while. I think Mr. B is a little busy writing The Dark Sea Annals. |

Personally, I do not think there will be another one, simply because of the Dark Sea Annals. But who knows? Perhaps Sir Wayne will surprise us! Really good book, by the way.

Will there be a 3rd book in the pirate series? Perhaps not for a little while. I'm currently working on a two book fantasy series with author and friend Christopher Hopper. I'm also shopping around an Epic 7-book fantasy series. If that one get's a contract, then, the pirate tale may be backburnered. However, should God allow that I become a full time writer, I definitely have ideas for a 3rd Isle of.... And yes, Blackbeard would figure prominently. Good catch there. Never alone. -WtB |

Personally, I don't think you could NOT have a third book. If you were going to end the series, it would have been more complete. Spoiler warning!: wouldn't Cat and Anne have gotten married, the Merchant stuff ended, and not leave the Blackbeard stuff hanging at the end? If it was going to be a short series like that, maybe it should have ended with the first one. So please, write another one!

So many books... so little time,But right now, God is having me write about a clone named Anthony Queen Illaria :You are the wise ruler of Yewland and a powerful ruler! You have an interesting relationship with Bolt and sadly you die in the Final Storm. Who Are U in The Door Within? | |

Yeah, I see your point. Though I honestly thought the ending of Isle of Fire was one of the most complete/satisfying endings I have read in a long time. Spoiler: click to toggle But now that we've been told there could eventually be another book off of that, I'm excited to see where it would go. |
