If you've read Isle of Swords, I need review/quote/blurbs! We're going to include three short (10-15 word) quotes about Isle of Swords on the book jacket of Isle of Fire. What we're looking for is dynamic, well-written blurbs. Try to avoid cliches or vague compliments. "It's a way cool book." isn't what we need. Try to be specific, catchy, interesting, and positive. We will include three quotes on the book jacket, so three of you will have your words and names immortalized in fiction! In addition, if your quote is chosen, I will send you a signed copy of Isle of Fire! Post all your entries right here! -Wayne Thomas Batson |

Alright I'll give it a shot... Isle of Fire is one of the Best Adventures I've ever been on! The sheer suspence and excitement kept me wide awake every night I read it. Sorry, thats 27 words. Is that good enough or should I change it a little? |

That's the kind of thing I'm looking for. The only thing is, if we use the blurb, I'll need to get real names and permission from parents...that kind of thing. |

"Isle of Swords was wild with action, suspense, and humor! I was on the edge of my seat, laughing or reading intently, the entire time!" That's a little long, sorry... I guess it would work if you wanted to cut the second sentence. I'd rather not give out my full name online, so I'll pm you, Mr. B!

Okay, I am going to try this out: "Isle of Swords was an action packed thriller! Comical and adventurous, that was definitely a 'read it in one day-if not one hour' type of book for me!" Eh, that was an 'okay-blurb'. I suppose.

Can we post more than one? If so, here's more.... "Isle of Swords is definitely the best pirate book I have ever read!" or "Words cannot define the excitement I experienced while reading Isle of Swords!" And this is from a friend who doesn't have an account yet... "Full of action and humor, Wayne Thomas Batson brings out his best in Isle of Swords." Edited by Jconn, May 31 2008, 06:49 PM.
