I liked today's episode. Finally the boys had an argument and said some things that needed to be said. Luke finally pushed back a bit and got Noah to talk about what he was feeling. Of course I know this is only a band aid on the problem because of the upcoming spoilers. I still don't like Reid. I don't want him anywhere near Luke. I just want him to fix Noah and get the hell out of Oakdale. |

I really, really enjoyed it. I liked the fact that Noah actually voiced his feelings a bit and the boys got to fight it out a little, which was refreshing to see. And Jake and Van knocked it out of the park. Incredibly heartbreaking, and kind of beautiful. I loved Luke's comment during the hand holding bit, where he said he still wanted to spend the rest of his life with Noah, and that he desperately wanted him to know that. And, the way Noah was caught between laughing and crying when Luke said 'Why, because you can't see how good looking I am anymore?' KILLED ME. Reid cracks me the hell up. I think he gets some great lines, especially his speech to the judge. ![]() Bob and Kim are sweet sweet sweet. I love adorable old couples. |

I was also surprised that they mentioned the apartment. I really liked how Luke said that they'd get another one when they were ready.

I've decided that Reid could be awesome, but only if he's away from characters that I like. Luke, Noah, Bob and Kim do not deserve his bitchy and condescending attitude. So I say let him witness the antics of characters like Janet or Meg and let the snark fly in the right direction for once. Luke finally gave Noah a little push in the right direction but it wasn't hard enough. I think Noah needs a swift kick in the ass, not to be coddled like Luke is obviously doing. I rolled my eyes when Luke started to help Noah button his shirt. C'mon, Luke even I know what kind of reaction you'll get from Noah if you do that by now. The conversation between them was pretty heartbreaking, though. |

Overall, I really enjoyed today's episode. The first two Nuke scenes made me want to freaking bash my head in and tell Noah to STFU...BUT that frustration quickly turned to enjoyment when he actually started to talk about what he was feeling. Oh man....how long have we wanted something like this? My only problem is that it took the writers this long to show Noah's POV. You know how low Noah is feeling about himself when he starts to think that Luke can't possibly feel the same for him anymore. I'm glad that Luke tried to reassure him that he does want to spend the rest of his life with Noah ( ), but sadly I don't think Noah can fully accept it right now in his state. And I also love that Luke finally--FINALLY--started talking back. It's about time! Boy should have done it ages ago. This is not Luke's fault and he needs to start standing up for himself against Noah. No more of taking his BS. But gotta admit that I love it when the boys are arguing. Holy crap. Not only do they argue so well, but they look mghty purdy while doing it. /shallow momentAnd Reid.....LMAO REID. Dude cannot keep his mouth shut. He was slowly digging his way deeper and deeper into that "rabbit hole" he spoke of so fondly. And go Dr. Bob for telling the man to SHUT. UP. ![]() Bob and Kim are flippin' adorbz. That pretty much covers that. Everything else was kind of a snooze. Though I have no ties to Jacket or CarJack, I did think that scene of Janet, Jack, and Liberty at Al's reminiscing about Brad was really cute. |

ZOMG!!!! Nuke scenes today totally made me cry Srsly. Those boys can act. Jake did some real meaty work today; I was impressed AND Van, well, honestly, I am not sure I have ever seen him not at the top of his game, but today was quite exceptional!!! The emotions this man can portray with his eyes...UNREAL!!!! I love that we FINALLY got hear Noah talk about his fear of Luke not wanting to be with him anymore. It was so heartbreaking and totally Noah-like to worry about loosing Luke. I mean this poor guy grew up his entire life with an asshole dad whose love was totally contingent on how he acted from day to day. No wonder he is so insecure and afraid. And I love that Luke was so reassuring about his feelings. Now if Noah could only get that Luke is serious and stop pushing him away Oh! And I also loved that Luke kinda sorta started to stand up for himself today and totally didn't just take Noah's shit. It was nice to see signs of real!Luke. I have greatly missed him lately!!! Ok, I don't like Reid. There I said it. I don't find him amusing or entertaining at all. Everything he says feels forced and unnatural. I can see where some people would find his antics funny, but for me it just ends up leaving a bad taste in my mouth and an uneasy feeling in my stomach. I constantly find myself thinking...like did he really just say that? I find myself cringing A LOT when he is on screen, too. I kinda hope he starts to grow on me since it seems he will be sticking around and infiltrating about half of the show's storylines. But for now, nope, he ain't doin' it for me AT ALL!

Mad love for today's episode. First scene with Noah pushing Luke away again I was all : "Noah, baby, I love you but if you keep up with this attitude with Luke I'm going to reach in and thump you in the head." And then miracle of all miracles we actually got Luke standing up for himself (I wanted more of that but hey...baby steps) and I was like FINALLY! And then even more we got Noah actually talking about how lost and down he was feeling about himself and I got all heartbroken and teary over him. We need more conversations like this where we get to see more than just angry!Noah but sad!Noah and talky!Noah that tells Luke how he feels about his situation. Bob and Kim...loved it. Loved it all. Always interact with my boys ok? I'm loving Reid more and more. He's funny and snarky and sarcastic and I love his dead pan. It makes me LOL something fierce. I loved that last scene with Noah/Reid/Luke. I loved how utterly confused Noah was and how Luke was all snarky. Fave part was the very end when Noah raised his finger to ask a question and Luke was like "NOPE moving on now....bye" and rolled out. (Random side note: Noah was in a wheelchair as per hospital policy. Holy reality based.) |

I still don't know how Van and Jake do it, but even when they are arguing like they were today, or just full on fighting like they've done previously, you can still see HOW MUCH THEY STILL FREAKING LOVE AND CARE ABOUT EACH OTHER. Seriously. I don't know how they do it...I don't know how they are able to portray so much love out of such negativity. They are completely captivating in scenes like today's! And I'm gonna be honest, I LOVE whoever writes for Reid, because some of the stuff he says if just totally priceless. I really enjoy the absolute Bitchplease!Luke faces that his words bring out. But that is about all I like him for. And I totally agree with whoever said earlier that they just want him to go in, fix Noah's sight, and then leave and stay the hell away from the boys! And also, Bob and Kim...

This has to be one of my fav. eps yet! Let me count thee ways: 1. Luke/Reid bitchfest. Some people (ok..more like people on YT) think that Reid and Luke should get together. NO. I'm perfectly fine with Luke/Reid arguing and being snob-bitchy men for the rest of teh month. 2. One moment that I didn't notice until someone pointed it out on vh.net and then I watched it again on YT -- Noah's laugh/cry mix when Luke was saying how he couldn't see how good looking he was. I was actually laughing at Luke's comment the first time then when I finally looked at Noah the 2nd time, I wanted to 3. Bob/Kim. Yeah, those two still have it. And I know that they are old but I love when they are all caring and give each other hugs and kisses. It gives me hope 4. Dr, Bob. I LOVE how authoritative he's been in the last two ep. I feel myself saying GO BOB all the time now! (I told my mom about him telling Reid to shut his mouth and my mom goes, "Dr. Bob said that?" ..my mom never even watched ATWT and she still knows who Dr. Bob is, lol.) 5. Ok, I used to LOVE Jack/Janet but yeah..not so much anymore. That ship has since sailed and now I'm hopping aboard the S.S. Carjack! Edited by Lis, Jan 26 2010, 12:19 AM.

Admittedly, the first time I saw the episode, I didn't love it so much. Mostly out of selfish reasons, since I was kind of in crappy mood and was dying for a break from the angst, and from the moment Noah said "I need to get away from you" I was already like "shit, this is going to be depressing as hell". And that just kind of stayed with me for the rest of the night. Buuuuut today, after rewatching it, I don't feel the same anymore. What happened there was just what I was hoping for: Luke fighting back. Telling Noah to stop taking out everything on him and that not everything is his fault, all of that. Honestly, that's what I want to see a lot more than I want to see him telling Noah that he still wants to be with him or to see him attempting to be all cheerful and whatever. I just want Luke to fight back and to tell Noah how he's *really* feeling, and we actually got that in this episode. And we got to see how Noah feels, too! Which is what I've been dying to see, too. And Jake's acting was amaaaaaaaaaaazing. He really just keeps on getting better. I especially loved the part from right after Luke was about to say "Why can't you see that", up until when he said "Don't tell me what to feel". It was all just amazing acting. And Reid... hahahaha. I couldn't believe he was actually talking to the judge like that, but it certainly amused me. (But all of the "Reid/Luke chemistry" talk I keep hearing just makes me go blehhhhh.) And aww. Bob and Kim are really sweet. And I love that Bob put Reid in his place
