An American Tail - Jesus if I don't cry every time those little mice warble their way (off key) to the moon. Seriously. And Tiger is serious love. Plus, the history lessen it unknowingly offers is great for little kids.

The Land Before Time - It's subsequent, and far inferior, sequels don't exist in my mind and yes, I still get all weepy over the song at the end when the little ones are reunited with their families.

Oh my God, American Tail! :ftw And the last time I watched Land Before Time, I would've bawled like a baby if my little cousin hadn't been there. I did shed a few tears when he wasn't looking though.

How about Balto? That was one of my favorites.

Any anime nerds out there? Dragonball Z, Sailor Moon, Gundam Wing, Ronin Warriors, Outlaw Star, Tenchi, Rurouni Kenshin, Yu-Gi-Oh...? Anyone else besides G?

Ooh, ooh! X-Men Evolution, Batman Beyond, Histeria? WB had the most awesome Saturday morning/weekday afternoon cartoons.

My dear friend and I can harmonize to the Pokemon theme song like nobody's business.

When I was like, six years old, I'd put on the dress I wore as a flower girl once and pretend I was Moon Princess Serena. Haha!

I liked Doug, Rugrats~ I dunno. I hardly remember those shows now. Now I have to watch, like, Hannah Montana. *shudder*

About a year and half ago me and my friends were talking about things we loved when we were kids (mostly Nick shows) and then we started gushing over Pokemon. For some odd reason, we broke into the song and in the middle of it, my friend who came late brust though the door and jumped into the room and shouted "POKEMON, I know it's my destiny!" and finished it with us. Seriously, one of the best moments in my life! :rotfl :rotfl :rotfl

As if it wasn't obvious enough what a geeky loser I was, I'm totally going to hit you over the head with it.

So, at Otakon this past summer (it's a huge anime convention in Baltimore, for those who are less geeky than me), they had a room dedicated to karaoke, and this group of kids chose the Pokemon theme for their song, saying, "Please feel free to join us!" before it began.

By the end of the song, there were over twenty people on the stage. It was epic.

I was going to respond the same exact way! No lie.

The first time I DIDN'T cry during that movie was in 7th grade when we watched it during this party in class. And all my friends were just WATCHING waiting for the tears.

...and then I watched it last year and when Shadow came over that hill and the music was all going and Peter was all, "SHADOW!" and the music got stronger I was just all :crying again and these "friends" were all :rotfl at me. :P

yeeeahhh
I kinda love those movies.

and when Sassie *sp?* goes over the waterfall! OMG! I always freaked the heck out and AGAIN, because apparently my fam and friends love me so much, I was always laughed at.

oh, Homeward Bound. :wub

Zomg! Anastasia is like my favoritist animated movie ever! I too, have the soundtrack and listen to it all the time. <3

Oh wow. Thumbelina. That takes me waaaaaaay back.

Actually, that movie reminds me of another one almost similar.......what was it? Hold up.

*Google searches*

OH! It was Fern Gully. Any of you watch that? That movie freaked me out as a kid, when that oil, toxic crap went apeshit and tried to destroy everything. *shudders* :P
Love love love Fern Gully! Fabulous cast of voices: Samatha Mathis, Christian Slater, Tim Curry, Robin Williams.

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

(and am so relieved to actually get a reference someone has posted here!)
I love Fern Gully!!!! It was one of my favorite movies as a kid. I actually just watched it recently on demand. It's been quite a few years since I saw it last. I know the whole "Batty" song by heart. :P
