I've created a new feature called "Letters", which works exactly the same way as press releases do, enjoy it and post often. Political parties still shut down, stay independent if you want to make your own in time. ------New players must all sign in to Senate Sign-In ----- ALL NEW PLAYERS ARE SENATORS, NOT REPRESENTATIVES!!!!

Austin Fremonte came into the world, a quiet winter morning in 1805, in North Carolina. His parents, Willy Fremonte and Jane Merrigold-Fremonte, recently took it upon themselves to move out West and settle in a new land. Willy's father came from Ireland, and pushed him into the Revolutionary war at a young age. Willy obliged his father, and fought in three battles, one of them being Yorktown itself. After the war, he came across Jane, a planter's daughter. The two married six months after their first meeting. Religious conversation often divided the two, Willy being a catholic, disagreed with Jane's protestant views. So the two avoided talking about religion, even to their young son, who soon became religiously confused, and unable to choose a sect of Christianity.

Willy and Jane moved out to Ohio, and raised Austin for four years, in Columbus. The two did not desire the opportunities presented to them in Ohio, they moved South, into Austin, Texas and founded a small ranch. They built the ranch up, further and further, and soon began production of not only steak but milk, cheese, aegis, and chicken as well. The ranch earned a good amount of money, enough to send Austin to Harvard. Austin graduated from Harvard after receiving a law degree in 1829. In Harvard, he met a young woman by the name of Stella Fields. He married Stella three months within having met her, in 1826. Stella came from France, or her parents did. They raised her in Louisiana. She experienced a more than decent upbringing, her parents spoiled her relentlessly and this caused her develop an arrogant mind frame. She is a beautiful and astute woman. Austin is said to be madly in love with her himself, and known for giving her basically anything she desires. For the most part the love is reciprocated.

He moved back to Texas to marry his bride, and helped his parents maintain the Ranch for a while. He often spoke of political issues and occasionally campaigned for candidates. Once the republic of Texas surfaced, Austin joined any political position he could get, eager to aid in government. Just recently, in 1845, with the election of Polk, Austin entered the senate house itself. Austin ran on the idea that he would support an independent Texas. He was always of a fan of the USA, however, he loved his new home in Texas and wanted to remain a loyal patriot there.

Austin is a social butterfly, so to speak, he is hardly missing at any event and hosts many himself. He speaks well and is often seen as a moderately handsome man, he is energetic and tries very hard to uphold his values but not offend anyone. He is well mannered and accommodating as a person, he tries to make himself a person easy to interact with. He is an energetic man who frequently exercise and rides horses. He is not terribly literary minded. His Wife is very much the same and attends many social events along with him, however, her unbridled arrogance can be rather off putting and has earned her some enemies. Austin has lost some friends due to hid wife's dislike of them.

Austin also has four children. The eldest is a boy born in 1827 named Nicholas. Nicholas is a studious child, somewhat scrawny, but very intelligent. The second eldest is a girl, born in 1829, named Elizabeth, she is a cheerful child who generally aids in maintaining the ranch, having an affinity for animals. The third is another girl named Jean, born in 1834, a shy girl. The final child is named William and was born in 1837, he is an outgoing and physical child.
