Touhou Project is a series of bullet hell shooters made almost entirely by a single man (says Wikipedia). This topic here mainly focuses on the 12.3 edition of the game, Hisoutensoku (roughly translated to, but not entirely meaning "Unthinkable Natural Law").

Touhou Hisoutensoku, or 12.3 for short, is a bullet hell fighter where all playable characters are female (this is a Japanese game, deal with it) and thrown projectiles are the main form of attacking. The game uses a spell card system that grants upgraded or skill replacements, as well as buffs to the character in play. There is also a weather system that affects the current fight. These affects are standard with whatever weather it is.

Touhou 12.3 is a 1v1 fighting game that includes single and multiplayer as well as network and hosted play. If anyone wants to give this game a try drop a post in here. The game is avaible for purchase (for whoever would like that) but is most likely in Japanese however you get it. There is an English patch for it located at gensokyo.org. A proper Wikipedia article for more information is better suited with this site.
