How is it done? First, you grab a base for your ship. Of course, the base of your ship is made up of smaller components and whatnot, but in general, it's all about the size, shape, and layout. Bigger ship generally requires more power to go faster, and gives you more space to place weapons on it. Shape and layout give you even more space to place more weapons and whatnot. Most bases consist of the hull, the lower levels, the deck, the cabin (command thing. You are in there. It's your home aboard this vessel.), and some even have upper levels. Some ships are even built in such a way as to stay aflout even with hundreds of holes in them! After a base is chosen, armour is chosen. It's bad to go without armour! Otherwise a caveman could sink your ship! So, even if it's cheap armour, it's better than nothing. Keep an eye on your budget when buying weapons and additional components! You're going to need propulsion systems, shields help, something that makes your electricity somehow...Don't forget weapons! Don't forget some bases come preinstalled with some of this blarg. After your ship is fully designed, you pay the price (which is automagically generated by the game based on the properties of every individual component). So overpowered components are usable. If you have the money. What do you guys think of this process? Edited by tida remag, Sep 6 2011, 11:34 PM.

It's brilliant. Matches can be based on a pre existing budget and each player has to errrrrectin their ship within a time limit and go at it using this method Ingenuity is the biggest requirement |

So the game apparently has good design. Time to see how good my execution is. |
