Joe

20:09:58 Scott_Masterson awoke suddenly, and in the same state that had become almost expected in the past year--his head swimming from an already forgotten nightmare, and every muscle in his body tense. Even the edges of his claws could be seen portruding slightly from his hands, and he was aware of fully extended fangs even before his eyes flickered open. Even before his vision cleared he was again hit by the sense that had often accompanied waking in the Chanel's apartment's bed...that he did not belong here, and should have been underground. Digging his way into the earth each night was more than a habit...it was instinct, and that was undeniable each time he woke to the lack of silence and the comforting pressure of earth all around him. The room came into focus, and in the span of a second or two <

20:10:01 Scott_Masterson the previous night's events were recalled. Tonight they escaped, leaving France and the elders and Aemilius far behind, for a much simpler existence in Ireland. He slowly tilted his head to the left before his body mirrored the action and he laid looking over Joe's form, partially covered by the simple white sheet and not awake yet--though he could sense that she was close to it. He had to smile. Plans had been set in motion. Tickets with their names waiting at the airport, for a flight that would leave in less than three hours from now. He felt brave. Courageous, even. Many vampires would have accepted the 'gift' from Aemilius and spent the rest of their unlives--however short that might be--serving the ancient. And yet here he was, in a small but undeniably cozy apartment, in a soft bed and next to the vampiress that he loved. He denied the urge to find his cigarettes and simply watched her <

20:10:06 Scott_Masterson , looking as still as a corpse and just as pale. The sight did nothing to detract from her beauty. Slowly he forced the tips of his talons back inside and a single finger reached out to trace a line down her cheek and to her shoulder, as he simply waited for her to wake. He was well aware of the various possibilities...that Aemilius might have somehow become aware of the plan, or that Gina would have a team of hunters waiting when they arrived to pick her up--but each possibility seemed equally unlikely. Why, he wasn't sure. Maybe it was due to a newfound sense of optimism at the promise of freedom, and a lifetime with Joe free from any binding chains. All he knew was that he could not stop the grin that was already a constant on his face as he watched that sleeping form.

20:12:35 Xelie 's form would be found seated in a cab, being driven towards her hotel. Where she can get dressed and get ready for the night. Where she tends to usually go out and enjoy herself. Her silvery-white optics darkening a shade as she fed off of the driver in bits, and the people that zoomed by, it wasn't too helpful to her groowing hunger but she managed. Her facade was calm and serene, as she stepped out of the cab. Walking straight into the hotel, taking the elevator to her room. Once she arrived at her floor, she briskly and gracefully walked forth. Arriving within minutes in front of her door. Her room was cleaned up as ordered. A pleased smile spreading upon her luscious lips. Where she had been? From another photo shoot, with a theme of lingerie. It was tiring and annoying. The flickering of camera lights, the changing of lingerie for each new shot or frame. But it was over now, and she needed to ease the stress and tension. Deciding to drop by at Le Romantica to do so. She went into the bathroom,(c)

20:12:50 Xelie slipping her clothes off and taking a warm bath, letting the warm water slide down her smooth creamy white skin. Warming it slightly and making it flush in the lightest shade of pink. This comforted her just slightly. But she needed something else, craving for something. and with that feeling deeply consuming her mind. She got out of the shower, dripping wet, grabbing a towel off the rack and gently drying herself off. Walking off into her bedroom, towards the closet, the towel wrapped around, above her chest. "Hmm.. what to wear...?.." She mumbled softly to herself. Silvery optics turning darker with every passing minute. Deciding to go with a black and elegant silky dress. Her hair was curled loosly but firmly so sshe didn't have to style it any further. Tying the curls up in a short ponytail, since her locks weren't that long. Pulling out one of the diamond rings that swirled around the lower portion of her finger. bearing a small circle on its top, this circle having the Pertivierre(c)

20:12:58 Xelie family crest upon it. It shimmered beautifully against her finger. It's frame was dark, and it made the ring noticeable against the creamy color of her middle finger. On her feet where black stilettoes. strapped easily around her ankles. With that she stepped off once more, riding the elevator down her hotel room, to the lobby. Stopping at the desk to log herself out. Then calling for a cab. As a cab stopped for her, she smiled, one of those blindingly beautiful sort of smiles. "Le Romantica, please." She ordered, and the cab driver simply gaped then nodded driving off towards the direction of the said club.(e)

20:21:04 [`Joe] Dreams evaded her most night. Leaving nothing but a fog of uncertianty in her when she woke. This night, however, they were ever present and ever frightful. So many things had clouded her mind and manifested in the nightmare that played behind her closed eyes. There was so much death and destruction. Her own. Scotts. Gina's. Aemilius had found out that they had planned to flee and had stopped them by taking thier lives. She wasnt sure whether it was her senses tell her that her sire had awoken, or if it was that lazy finger that trialed over her marble like skin. But whatever it was, her eyes snapped open and the worry etched across them in a quick flash before it was erased and replaced with something else. Joy, at seeing Scott there beside her. Relief that she was, infact still alive. Ease at know that this was the night everything would change for them. For the better. Smiling that dazzling smile, she propped herself up on her elbow, the sheet slipped down to pool at her hip leaving behind nothing but---

20:21:08 [`Joe] bare, pale flesh. "Good morning." she purred before leaning forward and pressing her lips to his briefly. Once she leaned back, she took a moment to look around, trying to place where they had ended up last night. Spotting the plathora of weapons that lined the walls, she remembered. Her apartment. It was the safest place she knew to go. Looking back down at him, she simply smiled, reaching over to brush his tousled hair from his eyes. "There are some cloths that should fit you in the closet." she said, however didnt move herself. She was in no rush to move away from him as of yet.

20:36:35 [Salerin_Daratrazanoff] Salerin lifted his lashes, his eyes fluttering open. Full dark. He smiled softly, checking his own lair. He knew that no mortals had tried to enter the building and he had not been stirred. He lifted himself from the bed and looked around the room. Everything was the way he had left it. He rolled onto the floor, landing on the balls of his feet. His dark hair was flat as he moved along towards the bathroom. He stepped into the shower, turning on the hot water. Cleaning himself, he enjoyed the short shower, the heat helping wake him and keep his body clean. He moved to the counter, drying himself off. He moved the towel up and cleared the mirror of steam before he brushed his teeth. He cleaned up his ears and set the spikes into his hair. Closing his eyes for a few moments, he turned and walked back into his bedroom, stopping at his dresser he pulled out a pair of a dark blue pair of boxers, black jeans, black t-shirt, and a pair of socks. He moved and sat down, pulling on his boxers, socks, jeans and shirt.

20:36:44 [Salerin_Daratrazanoff] He pulled on a pair of black boots, tying them and stood. He reached over to the coat hanger to his left and pulled his coat from it, and pulled it on. Turning he picked up his belt from the nightstand and walked out of his bedroom. He scanned different parts of his house as he made his way out to the front of his house. He stopped at the bottom of his five-step porch and turned his head, looking down either side of the street. Deciding where he would go for now. He vaguely remembered a club, “Le Romantica.” He believed it was called. He shifted his black eyes along the street to his left and he started towards it. He let his senses flare out into the night, walking along, closing his eyes. He could sense many humans in the area but he found himself not caring about food just yet. It was something that he could get anytime he needed to. Taking a deep breath of his air, walking. He turned his eyes across to see male walking across the street. Salerin sighed and disappeared, appearing a block down from

20:37:00 [Salerin_Daratrazanoff] Le Romantica, he walked along to the entrance, and as the body guards looked at him, he smiled, just enough to show a hint of fangs. They stepped out of his way and he entered without a second thought. The sounds of the club poured out around him and he eased the volume down, looking around the club. He walked to the bar and sat down, getting the bartender’s attention long enough to ask for a glass of red wine. He turned his back to the bar and surveyed the area for a few moments.<e>

20:54:30 Scott_Masterson watched Joe wake with all the affection of a parent eyeing a newborn in their eyes, never leaving her face even as she woke and sat up, the falling sheet allowing those perfect breasts of hers to became visible. The same feeling that had passed the previous night on the bridge was back in full force, now due to her rather than impressive scenery; he could have stared for hours at her, had hours been available to kill. That simply spoken greeting was enough to renew his grin, and even transform it into a smile that had to be forced away when she leaned forward and kissed him. The lingering sense of a nightmare was forgotten instantly in that moment, as was any threat that the day could have brought with it. There was only the incredibly serene blue eyes staring back at his own, and a promise of blissful existence hanging in the air. The rage that had seemed to become a part of him since that very first night in Toronto had vanished entirely for the moment, replaced by a calm that was entirely alien to him.

20:54:34 Scott_Masterson was pulled from the cloud that had temporarily blinded him to everything but her. He let a hand slide over her cheek as the grin lingered, and he forced himself to stand out of the bed only because they had a schedule to keep. There was no embarassment or self-consciousness as he approached the closet naked and found the only set of clothes not intended for a woman. They were far beyond such trivial emotions. He put on a pair of old jeans and found his cigarettes sitting on a nightstand before speaking, his voice calmer and more relaxed than perhaps she had ever heard it. " I'm going to call te airport and verify our flight time...the last thing we want is to be late and end up stuck here another day." It was not necessary, of course. He had spent the last minutes before sleeping the previous night repeating the departure time in his mind and knew it was 10:15 sharp. Human airports howvere could not be trusted to be as accurate as vampiric memory. A cigarette was lit and he stood for a long moment

20:54:42 Scott_Masterson just watching her before pulling himself away again, and then repeating the action as he leaned against a wall with a receiver held to his ear. " Good day, sir... This is Mr.Masterson, I'm just calling to confirm our flight time. Yes. Yes, it's the 10:15 Paris to Dublin. No problem, I'll wait..." He smoked slowly as he waited, eyes locked on the angel in the bed and waiting for a response with that grin still lingering. " It's....what?!" A long silence followed, though Joe could likely hear the explanation coming through the phone in a too-perky female voice. " Delayed due to storms. That's fucking fantastic. When is the next flight?" His expression had already hardened, no longer exhibiting calm serenity and that rage was back just underneath the surface of is pale skin. " No, I don't want the seven a.m flight... Look, there's three hours before takeoff...Isn't there a chance the ten fifteen will make it?"

20:54:48 Scott_Masterson Another silence followed, shorter than the last. His eyes were pulled from Joe to look over the selection of everything from crossbows to medieval looking swords on the wall as he responded... " Fucking fantastic." He slammed the receiver back on the base, unintentionally breaking it. He turned to look back at Joe, a hand quickly rubbing his forehead in frustration. " Looks like we'll get one more night in Paris after all." He started pacing in silent rage for a long while, eventually speaking again even as the thoughts were formed. " We can't stay here until tomorrow. He'll know something is up. We have to be seen, so he'll know we aren't planning anything." He was quiet for another long moment, hand going back to his forehead in a calming gesture before he spoke in a voice not nearly as calm as it had been upon waking. " Le Romantica?".

21:15:32 [`Joe] It amazed her how much she could be attracted to one person. To one man. She had never had that in life. Sure, she dated and socialized as much as she could. But no one had ever drawn her attention quite like Scott had. It was simply astounding. She listened in on the converstation he had with the people at the airport and almost let out a sigh of sadness as she heard their flight had been delayed. Shaking her head, she rolled from the bed, padding naked to his side. "We'll be alright." she reassured him, her hands moving to rub at his shoulders. "Things can awalys change. Nothing is set in stone." Sure, the weather was going to be bad tonight. But that didnt mean they would stay that way. After a soft kiss to his cheek, she moved to the closet, rooting through her cloths. It was nice being able to choose something to wear that was actually hers. Not something barrowed for the witch Chanel. Not something stolen. These were hers. And she knew she was going to have to leave behind whatever she----

21:15:37 [`Joe] wasnt wearing tonight. The thought had her frowning for a moment before she reached out and snagged a leather skirt and top combitnation. She quickly slipped into them and grabbed a pair of strappy heals before sitting back on the bed and slipping into them. "Sure. La Romantica sounds fine. I don't feel like hunting tonight." And she didnt. Once she was dress, a comb pulled through her hair, she went and stood at the door. "Ready whenever you are."

21:26:34 Xelie The cab that she rode in stopped, her oculars at the verge of turning pitch black, just having a tint of silver at the edges farthest from the iris. Opening the cab door, she stepped out gracefully, one slender leg after the other. As she stepped out. she left a little envelope at where she sat, her name inscribed upon the right bottom corner of the envelope, in neat small print. Closing the door behind hher she walked briskly and gracefully towards the door. Not even bothering to glance up at the bouncers. They knew her quite well, and so she was let through with ease. Slipping through the doors, loud energetic music hit her sensitive ears. A smile upon her perfect facade. Eyes that are now a charcoal black scanned around the entire area. First glancing up at the Second floor, her mind reaching to see if any of her kind where there. None at the moment it seemed. The dance floor, she sampled everyone's mind, seeking for one that is of her kind. Or close to it, closing her eyes she concentrated, leaning(c)

21:26:57 Xelie against the wall so that she wouldn't be in the way of those who were entering. And then one mind touched hers, a different tasting one. Someone familiar, her eyes searched for where the thought was coming from, and there sat Salerin. Sitting on a barstool. Deciding to mingle in that area, she easily danced her way towards the bar. Oculars getting lighter and lighter now that she was in the large company of others. So great in numbers that she could feed all she wants without them noticing it at all. By the time she reached Salerin's form, her eyes would have already returned to its glowing silvery-white hue. Her gaze setting upon that of the male. Gracefully sitting herself beside him, the left leg sliding over the other. Ordering the usual, which was warm red wine, then leaning in to whisper to Salerin. Lips just inches away from his ears. "Why hello there..." Purring playfully in his ear, her tone playful and alluring as well as hinting that seductiveness. After greeting him, she'd pull(c)

21:27:05 Xelie away slowly, turning to gaze around the vicinity. Tasting, sampling, their thoughts pulsating headily, giving her a glow that attracted. Like moths being attracted to a bulb of a bright light. Writhing humans, especially males dancing a bit closer to where they both sat. This making her smirk, her lashes slowly placed downwards, covering those oculars as she glanced down at her black stilettoes. (e)

21:33:29 [Salerin_Daratrazanoff] Salerin took a slow, steady inhalation of air, feeling the pulses of human beings around him. He could sense that many of them were intoxicated, and that many of them were enjoying their time. The room was full of energy and it was all there for the taking. Any vampire could walk into this club and take almost anyone there, as a willing person to feed from. He scanned the crowd, looking for someone that he would willingly feed on. He didn’t have any plans to kill a single human, and had not once, killed a human during feeding. He refused to do such a thing, though he had killed many humans in his long life, and even more vampires. He took another deep breath and turned his attention to the bartender as he handed him a glass of wine. He promptly paid the bartender and took a sip of the wine. It was one of the few things that even had a taste to him other than the blood of those he fed from. His black gaze turned over many humans and stopped upon a female who was dancing in a sea of people. Several men were<c>

21:33:59 [Salerin_Daratrazanoff] near her, but didn’t touch her, though they looked very much like they would enjoy touching her. As he had started to get up, he heard the door to the club open and he turned his head, spotting the same vampire that he had seen before. She had been a psychic vampire if he remembered correctly. She was very appealing to the eyes, and he knew she had tasted his mind before. His attention focused on her. She was currently the only other vampire in the club and he tried to stick with mostly his kind if he was going to be somewhere, to ‘hang out.’ He took a couple steps towards her, extending his own mind and power towards her, just enough that he could use his energy to focus and send her a telepathic message. It was something he barely had the power to do but he wanted to occasionally use that power to make sure he kept it. “Welcome back.” His simple message to her mind, he sat back down and looked over at her as she spoke into his ear. He smiled and turned his gaze out towards the men that had started towards<c

21:34:09 [Salerin_Daratrazanoff] the bar and her. A small glare towards them, and a flare of his own aura made the men step back and turn away.<e>

21:36:12 Scott_Masterson He picked up the receiver, a few pieces of it's plastic case falling to the floor as he did, unsure the thing would even work anymore. " Hello." And there it was again. The too-cheery voice of a female airport attendant in the receiver, informing him in a courteous tone that she had, in fact, resolved the problem. Joe would likely hear as it was explained. Two seats on a nine thirty had just become available, and that flight was indeed making it's scheduled takeoff time, ahead of the storm. " Are you...Oh, Christ...Thank you! You have no idea how good that is to hear..." More banter, and that grin returned to his face as his eyes settled back on Joe. " Yes. Yes, nine thirty. Thank you!" He hung up the receiver again, looking almost as relieved as he had back in that alley, upon hearing Joe would live throughout the night. He had to walk back towards her and embrace her in a tight hug, kissing her cheek before her lips. " Our lucky day." He grinned <

21:36:15 Scott_Masterson widely, and then glanced to the nearby clock. " But we've got to get moving. Call Gina and tell her we're coming now. Make sure she knows it's a nine thirty flight now." He kissed her again, out of pure relief, and went back to the phone to order a taxi, pulling on a dress shirt as he did. Once the call was finished, he lit yet another cigarette and slipped into his old and only partially bloodstained shoes, meeting Joe at the door after she had relayed the time change to Gina. By the time they left the apartment the cab was waiting for them, and that sense of serenity had returned to his thoughts. The ride to the Gina's was relativey uneventful, and he sat with an arm around Joe the entire time, occasionally watching out the window as the Paris scenery went by, inevitably for the last time in a long, long while. How long did it take an ancient to forget his rage? He figured a hundred years would do it...but a hundred years in Ireland with her hardly <

21:38:51 Scott_Masterson tried hard to regain that sense of calm that had been present only moments previous, and simply enjoy the sight of Joe's naked body approaching him, but it was impossible. One more night in Paris was not a small 'bump' in their plans. It could destroy everything. What if they saw Aemilius, or Chanel, or any elder who could potentially read minds? The 'small setback', as the woman on the phone had referred to it, could cost them their lives. Easily. He forced a smile when Joe spoke, though the worry was evident in his face even as she kissed his cheek. e tried to reassure himself. Neither Aemilius or Chanel had previously shown the ability to dig inside of a vampire's mind...though, given Aemilius' power, he hardly doubted it. Even the thought of walking into Le Romantica again caused enough stress that surely any vampire with the slightest psychic ability would detect something was wrong. He continued pacing, and lit another cigarette as Joe dressed--and then the phone rang. The <

21:38:54 Scott_Masterson seemingly everyday event was anything but, given this was Joe's safehouse and the number was not public knowledge. He picked up the receiver, a few pieces of it's plastic case falling to the floor as he did, unsure the thing would even work anymore. " Hello." And there it was again. 21:39:07 Scott_Masterson relativey uneventful, and he sat with an arm around Joe the entire time, occasionally watching out the window as the Paris scenery went by, inevitably for the last time in a long, long while. How long did it take an ancient to forget his rage? He figured a hundred years would do it...but a hundred years in Ireland with her hardly seemed a hard price to pay. He didn't like France much anyway.

21:49:03 [`Joe] She knew everything would work out. She didnt know how she knew. She just did. It was fate. Fate had led them here. And fate was going to lead them away from here, back into the arms of saftey. She just knew it. She was picking up a cell phone from the night stand before he ever had to tell her to call Gina and dialing the number. The converstation was short and sweet. Gina was beyond ready, packed with only the nessasities. She hadnt, she told her, even told Lidia of all people goodbye. She was a good kid. Joe knew that. Clicking the phone shut, she nodded to Scott and headed out with him, slipping into the back of the cab. She didnt break the silence, or the euphoria of being able to leave this night instead of the next. Only when a pressing though entered her mind did she say anything. "We need to feed. Before the plane, or on it. I can't go all night without eating." She was still young. The hunger still plagued her worse then it did even a vampire of Scotts age. ----

21:49:07 [`Joe] And it was ever present in the pains that shot through her stomache. Her eyes kept moving to the dash clock. They didnt have much time to get there. Hardly enough time to ensure Gina was ready and with them. Looking back at Scott, the worry shone over her face, mostly in her eyes. "We'll make it even if I have to carry you two." she said, vowing more to herself then to the man that sat beside her. Her hand moved and grasped his as Gina's apartment building came into view.

22:08:36 Aemilius Woke in his protective coffin as the sun was still setting, it would three o’clock in the afternoon when this old creature woke. Unable unleash his plan just yet, he lay still merely blinking at the inside ceiling of his coffin. Time seemed to move so slowly while he lay there waiting, waiting to move his queen into check mate. Tonight would have to go perfectly, or else all would fail and he would have to worry about these two vampires returning to kill him when he least expected it. As the sun hid its self behind the buildings around him, he would open his coffin. The uncomfortable feeling of flesh burning would make him wince at first, the suns light still filled the room but not with its pure force as if it were still in the sky. But the elder overcame the pain, and continued to ready him self. As his nude body walked to his closet, his skin would pop and sizzle. Only his right side would be effected by the sun, peeling his skin back in tiny little blisters that popped causing blood to run down his face.

22:09:13 Aemilius He looked like a plastic doll that had been tossed into a frying pan for a few seconds. The pain only helped to focus Aemilius’s intent, for if he didn’t finish this deed tonight, this pain could be what he experiences before his death. In his long life many vampires have tried to kill him, some even completing the task. Lucky for him gun shots to the head only place vampires into Torpor, until their body is able to repair its self. While thinking about the past, he slipped into some black clothing. Unlike the nights before, tonight he wore black slacks, black dress shirt, and a black trench coat. It wasn’t like Aemilius to go with out some color, but tonight was special, tonight he had to do some work of his own. While dressing him self, the suns light continued to burn upon his skin, twisting the right side of his face to resemble nothing more then muscle and bone. Finally dressed, he would step through the vault door of his bed room, and walk into the halls of his manor.-c-

22:09:42 Aemilius As soon as the sunlight was unable to lick upon him, his skin would recover from the wounds almost instantly. The small patches that were missing grew tiny fingers around its edges that reached out for each other, interlacing his tissue together and covering up the wound completely. As he reached his front door, the sun had finally lowered its self below the herizon. Walking casually, he would pass his car, and make his way out to the street before his house. Doing another oddity for this creature of routine, he would summon a passing taxi with his black gloved hand. A yellow black cab would pull over and stop before him for a few seconds. Stepping into it, “Take me to 2213 Francois street.” Hidding his murderus intent well behind the smile he shined at that driver. Nodding, the driver pulled away from the manor and began driving to this location. Upon arriving there the diver nodded, “This is the place.”

22:10:03 Aemilius Aemilius looked out the window mechanically as if he had done this a million times before. But he wasn’t looking at the spot before the window, it was the house right next to it that had the elders attention. The lights where on, and he could see a shadow moving about inside of the building. “Thank you sir,” he said stepping out of the car which only made the diver worry about being paid. “Sir, you forgot to pay me,” being as polite as he could to this rich looking man. “Oh did I,” talking in a sarcastic tone as he strolled back to the cab. Aemilius would lean his elbows on the window seal and glare at the driver, before shooting his hands out and snapping the divers neck. Aemilius then turned the car’s engine off and placed the divers head on the steering wheel as if he was sleeping. -c-

22:10:22 Aemilius As soon as that was done, he would stroll over to the house that Gina lived in, using the memories he gained from Joe to guide him well. Closing his eyes, he would try to bring forth more of the memories she revealed to him. Gina was a very caring woman, and would help strangers if she had to. Aemilius had to think for a moment, “what would get me inside?” A thought came to his mind, and he would go with it. Taking his free hand, he would rake his arm and draw forth blood. The leather trench coat he wore would be in tatters along with the clothing beneath it. Using his dark gifts, he made the wound bleed and stopped it from healing. Next he punch the side of his head, allowing his skin to rip and tatter. Knocking on the door he waited, pretending to be panicked and out of breath. Gina would come to the door and glare out of her peep hole. Breathing heavily, “I need help, can I come in and use a phone?” Aemilius said as he leaned on the door way some. -c-

22:11:53 Aemilius Gina would react before thinking and opened the door, “Come in, the phone is in the ~bac~” the rest was cut off by a gargle. Aemilius only waited for the invite, and once given he would attack the unsuspecting girl. Sinking his teeth right into her neck, he would drain her of her blood. As he lay there he looked down at her while sifting through her memories. Glaring down at the woman, he knew he couldn’t let her die, she was instrumental to his plans for the moment. Slitting his arm, he would force feed the girl. Gina spit the blood out of her mouth a few times, but soon the taste overtook her like it does to all kindred. She began to breath hard, and arched her back off the ground to continue feeding. Just then the phone would ring. Ripping his arm away from Gina, he would answer it. Once again using his dark gifts his voice now was Gina’s. “Hello? Alright I’ll be here waiting for you. See you soon,” hanging up the phone he would return to the transforming Gina. -c-

22:12:14 Aemilius Speaking to her in her own voice, “Don’t worry, its going to be ok now.” Due to his blood coursing through her she wouldn’t die, she became something more then just a mortal at that point. She had become a ghoul. A creature that was loyal to its master, and would obey its every command. “I want you to send them to the airport and give them anything they need. If they suspect something just tell them your under the weather.” Gina nodded and began cleaning up the house. Aemilius then left, knowing any moment the two would be here. Walking back to the cab he came in, he would scoot over the dead body into the passenger seat and drive off. -e-

22:21:48 Scott_Masterson was both surprised when Joe suddeny spoke about feeding efore the flight, and amazed that it hadn'toccured to him before now, mostly because of the excitement swimming in his mind. He seemed to think it over, and it didn't take long to realize she was right. The hunger was present and growing, and he doubted they could get away with feeding on the plane. If a body was discovered in flight, Dublin polive would undoubtedly e waiting to interview every passenger on board. Something they needed to avoid for the obvious reasons. The cab driver was an obvious target, but Scott wasn't sure the thin man had enough blood in his whole body to satisfy both him and Joe for the long flight. Though, he did cut the need for blood in half. The cab stopped at what he could only assume was Gina's apartment and he stepped out when Joe did, only heading a brisk pace down the sidewalk as she went to the door, in search of a hooker or...anyone who could be talked into accompanying them.

22:21:51 Scott_Masterson The only obvious solution without wasting time was not a pretty sight. A half drunk, bushy bearded homeless man who looked to be about sixty years old, wearing long-tattered clothes and hanging half outside a ruined cardboard box in an alley. He gave another glance around for someone--anyone--else, and spotted no-one who fit the description of 'easily coerced'. Grudgingly, he approached the box and spoke, only to find a rough voice speaking only in french back to him. He spent a few minutes waving some money and trying to simply motion that he needed hep with carrying luggage, but the man wasn't getting it. Frustrated, he simply punched the man hard, knocking him out and sending a few yellow teeth to the pavement below before picking him up. Minutes later he was back at the taxi, one of the disgusting-smelling human's arms around his shoulder to prop the man up and holding most of his weight with a single hand <

22:21:58 Scott_Masterson placed around a belt that looked as old as Aemilius was. He set the man into the back seat, wincing slightly at the smell of urine and knowing Joe wouldn't like this. He decided to let her take the cab driver. It had been a long time since he had felt the efects of alcohol from a drunk victim anyway, and he looked for to that at least. He lit a cigarette and leaned on the cab, watching the apartent door for Joe and Gina to appear and tapping lightly, occasionally asking the driver for the time and reassuring himself there was penty left to get their destination.

22:33:17 [`Joe] The moment the cab stopped, she was climbing out and looking over to Scott. "I'll be back as quickly as possible." With that, she stepped away from the cab and in moments she was standing at Gina's door. Three raps upon its wood was all it needed to have the green haired girl opening the door with a not so happy look upon her face. "Invite me in Gina." She knew she couldnt pass that thresh hold if her longest freind didnt utter those words. And from the look on her face, she wasnt going to. "Gina. Invite me in." It was no use. She was getting no where. The hundreds of reason why she couldnt go started spilling out of her mouth and left Joe shocked at first, then angry. "Fine. If you die. Don't be blamin me little girl." It was all that was left to say before Joe turned on her heal and moved out of the apartment building. "She isnt coming." she said shortly before climbing into the back of the cab, not even paying attention that Scott had had someone else with him. ---

22:33:21 [`Joe] Her arms crossed over her leather clad chest as she faught back tears. Tears that she knew would come out red and most likely freak out the cab driver. Something wasnt right with Gina. She felt it. But without being able to get in. To touch her. She would never know. And she didnt have time to waste. She loved the girl, but if she was going to let her hardheadedness get in the way, there was nothing Scott or Joe could do about it. "Lets go." she simply said whenever Scott climbed back into the car.

22:41:17 [Aemilius] Drove fast, almost getting into two accidents. It wasn’t until he reached the airport that he had slowed his speed and pulled over. Stepping out of the car, while it was running, he headed into the building. The cuts to his face had healed, and he looked fine. Only his coat, and sleeves underneath it would tell of his tale before hand. Once inside the building he would walk around, searching for a entrance onto the run way. Upon finding it, he would turn him self into a visage, nothing more then green smoke. But this smoke still had intelligence as it demonstrated as it slithered under the door way. Leaving behind a mound of clothing that fell off of Aemilius as he transformed. Upon reaching the other side of the door he would shift into a wolf rather the human form. Its fur would be pitch white, except for gray tipped ears and tale. If anyone had seen the wolf they would say it looked bigger then normal.

22:41:25 [Aemilius] And it didn’t seem out of place, unlike most wild animals that were lost in the city, it wasn’t afraid. It simply sat before the grand windows of the airport and waited. People made sure to say clear of the animal as it sat, seeming to wait for something.

22:55:05 Scott_Masterson stayed leaning with both arms on tope of the cab, eyeing that door and smoking nervously. He knew the nervousness would remain until they stepping off a plane onto Irish soil, and even then it wouldn't e gone completely. Maybe Aemilius could track them that far. Maybe he had contacts all over the gloe who could be ordered to watch for them--not hard to believe given his pronounced status as the 'world's oldest vampire'. He cleared his mind and concentrated on the opposite side of the 'possibilities spectrum'. Maybe he wouldn't know. Maybe him and Joe would in fact live happily ever after, perhaps the only two vampires in existence to slight the ancient and not face death for it. The idea was blissful, and seemed to make the risks worth it. When he spotted Joe returning alone, he first presumed Gina was simply not far behind, perhaps with a few bags of luggage, though when she didn't appear his eyes settled on Joe and that expression of hers made it evident that plans had changed, even before she<

22:55:08 Scott_Masterson spoke. Joe's simple words came as a shock, and he stood motionless for a moment trying to imagine what had occured to have altered the arrangements, and how it could be made right in a few short minutes. When Joe climbed into the taxi however, it was apparent that such an attempt was futile. If she couldn't convince the girl to do the smart thing, he certainly coudn't either. He slid into the backseat himself, climbing over the unconscious drunk to do so and directing the driver to begin the trip to the airport before his eyes settled back on Joe beside him. An arm was slung over her shoulder, pulling her close to him and resisting the urge to ask what had happened. He presumed it was obvious. Gina had simply changed her mind, not wanting to leave her school and her life behind. The heartbreak was evident in Joe's expression and all he could do was try to <

22:55:16 Scott_Masterson comfort her. The development put a dampener on the rest of the silent trip--at least, mostly silent aside from the driver's music and humming, and the occasional dazed groan from the bearded man on his other side. He made up his mind tat they would send Gina a ticket from Ireland, once Joe managed to re-convince the girl that the move was necessary. Maybe by tomorrow she would be joining them in their haven. Eventually the airport came into view, and he directed the driver to find a spot in the massive parking lot rather than pulling up outside the terminal. He ran a hand across Joe's cheek, wiping the remains of a blood tear from it and nodding for her to take the driver just as he had the previous night in the alley beside Le Romantica. When she did, he moved for the homeless man, biting only after she had and wincing at the taste lingering on the man's flesh<

22:55:22 Scott_Masterson , not the most pleasant victim he had ever had but surprisingly not the worst either--and his blood was just as euphoria inducing as any human's, perhaps moreso to some extent with the amount of alcohol swimming in his veins. When they were done, he wasted no time in exiting the cab and directing Joe to follow, an another comforting arm around her shoulder as they approached the massive building. Upon finding their terminal, he waited in line to get their tickets, the huge clock overhead reassuring him that they would be on time. Once the relatively short line ahead of them vanished, and he did just that, it was simply a matter of walking through the small walkway that attached to the plane--and they were home-free. He wanted to ask about Gina, but knew it was a useless conversation at the moment and that there would plenty of time for it away from mortal ears.

23:04:14 [`Joe] She couldnt believe it. Just couldnt believe that the girl, her best freind, her only sister had turned them down. Had decided to stay within the city of Paris at risk of an elder vampire. Gina hadnt seemed to care though. Her only words being she could take care of herself. She was right, she could. She had half a guild in this city that would watch her back. Would make sure everything stayed cosher. But that feeling of unease just wouldnt leave her. As Scott pulled her into his arms, she buried her face into his chest and just let herself cry. It was refreshing, to release a burden of emotion that had just seemed to creep up on her. Once she was done, she moved away and wiped the tears away as best she could, letting him remove the others. When they parked and he motioned to the driver, she nodded and moved like she had before. Quickly over the seat she went and her teeth were buried into the mans flesh. It felt good to eat. Made her feel stronger. Like nothing was going to get in her way of achieving ---

23:04:17 [`Joe] what she wanted to achieve. Once the man was drained to the point of almost death, she climbed out the driver's side and moved into the building at Scott's side. It wouldnt be too long before they were airbound and out of this dreaded city forever. For longer then forever. She couldnt wait. "I love you." she said almost more for herself then for his benifit. After tongiht, they would be free.

23:25:48 Scott_Masterson placed a soft kiss on Joe's forehead and mirrored her words, " I love you" just as the call to board the plane came over the P.A, first in french and then in english. He kept his arm around her as they approached the ticket-taker, handing over the two passes for each of them before they were directed down that short hallway. He had only flown twice before, both trips as a vampire and each of them causing him a great deal of stress. There was a reason he had never flown in his human life, aside from having been poor, and the fears of both extreme heights and a plane crash were not abated at all as a vampire. He had no doubts that death would come just as swiftly for him as the humans, if the plane were to crash into the ocean or even land--and in the very best case scenario, he would have ended up mutilated and burned. Not something he wished for himself and even less so for Joe. Luckily, the drunk feeling seemed to help quite a bit--and he was even somewhat cheery, though he hid that from <

23:25:50 Scott_Masterson Joe for the obvious reasons. She was undoubtedly, and justifiably, bothered by Gina's decision to say behind, and he did not want to disrespect that by making his true mood obvious. He flashed a quick smile when the stewardess directed them to their seats and he asked Joe if she wanted the window or the aisle, taking whichever she didn't choose. Despite Gina, the relief was incredible as he sat into that seat beside Joe. The fears of hunters and Aemilius had been entirely unfounded. Eventually the plane was half-filled with passengers, and began taxing onto the runway and eventually, taking off. He held Joe's hand during the process, hoping she saw it as his attempt to comfort her, rather than him trying to comfort himself which was the truth.

23:51:53 [`Joe] The trip through the terminal was uneventful and left her to her scattered thoughts. That feeling, a feeling she couldnt place, kept itching at the back of her neck and she couldnt quite seem to scratch it. Something had been wrong with Gina. Something had been completely off in Gina. And she didnt know why she couldnt sense it. Letting out an irritated breath, she looked up to the ticket takers as Scott handed them thier tickets. They smelled good. Even if she had already eaten, they had smelt good. This was going to be a test against her will power. So many humans abaord and she was going to have to be good. When offered the choice of isle or window seat, she took the window, thinking it would be harder to get across Scott incase something did burst in her and she couldnt hold herself back. It wasnt something she was too afraid of happening. But there was always the chance. Once the stewardess went through the saftey information and the plane began to taxi, she leaned back and closed her eyes, taking ====

23:51:57 [`Joe] Scotts hand. No matter how many times she'd been on a plane in her lifetime, she still hated them. Hated being up in the air where anything could happen. Fataly risks were lower now, she knew, but she still had that feeling that something was going to go terribly wrong. Focusing herself to push those thoughts away, she squeezed Scotts hand and settled in for the flight.
