Joe

14:52:36 [`Joe] He had an incredible body, even if most of it was clouded by the red tinged and saopy water. It amazed her that she had been brave enough to even look. But all in all, she liked what she did get to see. She wasnt sure of the protocol when it came to sex between vampires, but she was sure it was still possible, seeing as just seeing him sitting there had stirred something in her that she hadnt felt in a very long time. Pushing those thoughts away, she smiled and nodded. "I'm starving." She was surprised that she was as hungry as she was. But it wasnt too shocking. He had taken alot in his short feed from her and that had left her slightly drained. And since it'd been a couple hours since the experience, she felt rather famished. At his request for the towel, she nodded again, holding off on responding with anything else. Crouching down, she retreived one of the over plush towels from the lower cabnet before standing and walking it to him, holding it out to him. ----

14:52:40 [`Joe] "Maybe when your full I'll try it. Or have something on hand to replinish you." She was a practical thinker, and knowing what it felt like, she didnt want him to go unfull for too long. The blood was, she knew, what kept them moving. Animated them. Holding the towel to him, her eyes held his, waiting for him to stand and take it.

15:10:46 Scott_Masterson took the towel with a silent nod of thanks and stood, unfolding and wrapping it around his waist and not much caring if she happened to catch a peek, though he fully expected she would avert her eyes as she had done upon entering the bathroom. A short tug was given to the beaded chain hanging from the tub's faucet, unplugging the drain and the new sound of water escaping to mix with the others around them. He smiled slightly again at her continued presence and pulled a second towel from the hanger nearby, giving his hair a quick dry as he responded. " Definitely. I can't help but wonder what feeding on an ancient would be like...I could feel the power in you when I did it...one of them, I can't even imagine. Maybe it would make us stronger, permanently. Maybe it would just be amazing." He dropped the towel to the sink counter and picked up the brush she had used, combing the messy, knotted hair forcefully and looking between himself and her in the mirror.

15:10:48 Scott_Masterson "You like the tattoo?" he said with a light grin, knowing she would see it from this angle. The demonic skull on his back shoulder had a pair of vampire-like fangs, due entirely to coincidence. He suspected that if either of them were tattooed now, it would simply heal and be an incredible waste of money, and he was glad he had chosen to have it done before the change was forced on him. He was also aware of her own tattoos, only because they had slept in the same bed a handful of times together, and she had the welcome habit of sleeping naked. On some small level he was still impressed with his body's ability to heal, and the good mood it had caused was more than likely obvious in his expression as he brushed his teeth quickly.

15:26:12 [`Joe] Shyness was not something she was used to. In life she had never once blushed at the sight of a naked male. Or turned her eyes away from looking. But for some reason she found herself turning her eyes away from his as he grabbed the towel and stood up. Chiding herself for even doing such a think, she shook her head and looked back at him for a moment. "I think feeding from an ancient would give us power or make us stronger." She nodded as if the motion made the fact more true then it might have been. She shifted then, moving to sit on the edge of the tub again. This time however, she didnt just sit. Her fingers moved over the laces of the knee high, loosening them before kicking them off to lay haphazardly on the bathroom floor. Eyes shifting back to his form, she spotted the tattoo on his shoulder and nodded. "It's neat." She'd seen glimpses of it before, but never the whole thing. Standing from the tub's edge, she moved over to stand behind him, her fingers moving over to trace the ---

15:26:16 [`Joe] outline of it before grinning. "I'm a fan of body art, if you couldnt tell." She wondered if she took the piercings that littered her body out, if they would ever close now that she was changed. Or if they would be there eternally due to having them before she was turned. She decided she didnt want to test that theory. They had cost a pretty penny and she didnt want to have to fork that money over agian to get them replaced. Shrugging to herself, she leaned into him and kissed his shoulder lightly before turning away from him and heading back to the tub, lifting her shirt over her head as she walked, tossing it to the floor before leaning over and turning the faucet on to prepare for a quick shower. Slipping the skirt down her legs, she followed with the fishnet stakings before stepping under the spray and tugging the see through curtian around the tubs base. She wouldnt be under the spray long. Just enough to clean herself and relax for a moment.

15:50:17 Scott_Masterson studied his face in the mirror for a short moment, both glad at the fact that he had not had to shave in a year, and never would again, and was only slightly bothered by the fact that the option no longer existed for him. He could, of course, but it would be in vain. The one time he had become curious enough to try, it had all grown back in all of twenty minutes. His reflected gaze went back to Joe as she responded and he set the toothbrush back to the counter. He considered her words and momentarily pondered asking why she had reached that conclusion--whether it was some knowledge she had gained in life as part of her hunter training, or just a guess as his had been, and decided not to only because of the feeling of that finger tracing his tattoo. He didn't respond when she professed to be a fan of body art, only watched those eyes of hers in the mirror as they studied his back. It was obvious, of course. Her piercings had led him to assume she had tattoos even back in that bistro, when she was still <

15:50:19 Scott_Masterson human. It had partially been responsible for his decision to leave the original victim and focus on her--though he supposed even without those particular modifications, he would have done the same based purely on her natural looks. He had to smile when those lips pressed against his shoulder for a moment, neither cold nor hot but still entirely endearing. He had just begun sorting through the clothes he had brought into the washroom with him when he caught sight of her slipping that shirt off in his peripheral vision, and then watching directly as the skirt did the same. He was only partially surprised by the behavior, aware already just how 'free' she was in regards to her own nudity. It wasn't hard to imagine her having been a stripper at some point, though it obviously was not the case given her nearly lifelong profession. He continued watching until that curtain <

15:50:26 Scott_Masterson was drawn closed, and then proceeded to remove the towel and step into a clean pair of boxer shorts before the fresh suit pants followed and he slowly transferred the items from the old pair's pockets to the new. " You're gorgeous, you know that? I can understand why...what's-his-name... in there has a thing for you." He pulled the simple-yet-expensive dress shirt on and buttoned it up slowly, watching her blurry form through the reflection of the curtain and again finding it hard not to join her at that moment--though the hunger for blood made the decision easier than it should have been. He found the cigarettes still sitting on the side of the tub and lit one, leaning against the counter and studying her blurry form directly rather than through the mirror. " And your tattoo is great. Unique." He smoked slowly, eventually pulling on each black sock one at a time. That heartbeat in the apartment's bedroom was becoming harder and harder <

15:50:34 Scott_Masterson to ignore in the face of hunger, and he briefly wondered how long he could ignore it, even if it had been his own friend sleeping peacefully.

16:10:21 [`Joe] Suds from the fruity smelling shampoo slipped down her back and chest as she went about rinsing from her hair. "Hmmmm." she said as she heard him speak, then shook her head peering out at him from the curtian, seeing him form almost perfectly. "No I'm not." She was modest in that aspect, never really finding herself pretty or beautiful though she'd been told it for most of her life. Sure she had been lucky enough to get a body without many flaws, but she was far from beautiful in her eyes. Different, maybe. Rinsing the suds from her form, she ran fer fingers through her hair. When her tattoo was mentioned, she found her fingers going to it even if she couldnt see it. The two crosses crossed over each other infront of a sheild had been the brand of the guild. Something she'd gotten the day she'd turned eighteen. A symbol of what she was. Of something she could never be again. Trapped eternally on her skin. Sighing, she nodded. "Not as unqiue as you would think." --

16:10:41 [`Joe] she muttered and tried to remember exactly how many girls had the exact same tattoo on thier shoulders. Shaking her head, she turned the water off, she pulled the curtian open, steeping from the tub and grabbing herself a towel to wrap around herself. "Let me get dress and then we can head out." Like him, Charlie there in that bed had been a temptation she'd been fighting against since she'd laid him in the bed. One she knew she couldnt act on for more then just the obvious reasons. Slipping from the room, she headed to the closet and considered her choices once more before grabbing out one of those form fitting dresses she'd seen hanging there and wanted to try on. Grabbing a little back one, she laid it across the bed and dried herself off before slipping into it. It was beautiful, hugging her curves perfectly. The top hun loose and tapered into her hips. The bottum of it stopping mid-thigh. A pair of strappy heals topped it off and she let her hair fall around her shoulders, ---

16:10:45 [`Joe] her bangs hanging to cover that one eye. Going back into the bathroom, she smiled at Scott before moving to the sink to apply what little makeup she wore then turned to him. "Ready." And she was. Those hunger pains were starting to get more intense and she needed to eat soon before she did something she would regret. Like eating Charlie.

16:32:42 Scott_Masterson It was impossible to avoid the knowledge that Joe was only feet away, and that the blood in her veins was far more delicious than any human he might find in the street, even despite knowing how hungry she already was. Somehow greed seemed tied to the hunger, almost superceding everything else--including friendship, or even the fact that she was his 'fledgling' as the elders said. Again his mind wandered. If they had been trapped together on some far away landscape with nothing else to feed on, how long would it be before the hunger had one of them killing the other for sustenance? The idea seemed monstrous, something only a vampire could consider, before he realized that humans had done just that in similiar situations, usually involving airplane crashes in distant regions. He flicked the cigarette's ashes into the sink and pulled on the suit jacket, turning to look himself over once more in the mirror <

16:32:45 Scott_Masterson and impressed with the contrast compared to the Scott who had entered the room only an hour ago. As a human, the thought of only being able to move around by night would have seemed incredibly constricting. But as a vampire, each one seemed far longer than it was, and could even sometimes seem to stretch for days. This night was proof of that. Even at this very moment, a handful of intricate thoughts had passed even as he waited for Joe to reply, in only a few short seconds. He was suddenly wondering what she had meant in response to his remark about the tattoo, though it quickly became obvious--more from the context of her response than the art itself. It must have been a Guild tattoo. A quick mental note was made, and

16:32:50 Scott_Masterson almost instantly forgotten as she pulled open the curtain. He didn't bother looking away. They were a little beyond false modesty at this point, and any he showed would have been just that...though he did manage to maintain eye contact rather then letting his gaze travel, after the intial look anyway. He nodde in response to her statement and left the bathroom before she did, coming to a stop in front of the livingroom's singular large window and peering out between the blinds at the street below. The cigarette was finished and left hanging between his fingers by the time she re-emerged from the bathroom, dressed and ready. "Definitely." was his simple response, his shoes already pulled on while he had waited. He moved for the door and hesitated just long enough to say " You look ravishing." with a slight smile-- <

16:32:59 Scott_Masterson more caused by the fact that he had used the word 'ravishing' than anything else, something he was positive he had never done in life. An extended vocabulary seemed a side effect of vampirism, or perhaps just of the luxurious surroundings and perceived elegance. He kissed her lightly on the lips and pulled open the door, gesturing for her to move first, and then followed to the elevator and eventually out onto the street.

16:45:45 [`Joe] His compliments, as much as she beleived she didnt deserve them, brought a smile to her lips every time. "You don't look so bad yourself, stud." she said with a grin, her fingers tracing the suit for a moment as his lips found hers. The suits that had been provided made him seem more classy then she knew he was. But she liked them. And oddly enough, they suited him. She'd chosen the dress for just that reason. To suit him. Instead of looking like a whore in her usual get up, she wanted to look as classy as he did. To suit him as much as he suited her. With the door opened for her, she slipped into the hall, to the evelvator, and out onto the street. The scents automatically assulted her senses and had her hungering more then she thought she possibly could. "Shall we?" Her arm slipped into his to wrap around his elbow, her feet moving in whatever ever direction he decided upon. She let him lead them to thier prey, thinking that her hunger would cause an impluse and accidental killing, ---

16:45:52 [`Joe] and she didnt want to deal with burying a corpse before sunrise. She had much more pleasing ideas in mind from the remainder of the evening after feeding. Flicking her gaze to him, a smile pulled at the corner of her mouth for a moment before she looked forward again. "Your an intruiging person, Scott. Has anyone ever told you that?" There seemed to be so many sides to the man, and she couldnt seem to catch up with them all. Hell, she didnt even think she'd seen them all within the short amount of time they'd spent together. "Far more interesting then any other vampire I have met." And she'd met a few in her lifetime. Held converstations with them. The cells in the basement of her business werent there for humans. Many a vampire had spent thier final moments in those cells, telling her thier tales. Maybe in hopes that she would find it in her heart to set them free, or just seeing her as someone to talk to. To keep thier minds off what was coming. She couldnt know. ---

16:46:15 [`Joe] She didnt even want to think about it. But for some reason, her thoughts continued to travel in that direction. "So what are we in the mood for tonight? Young and beautiful. Or rugged and torn?"

17:19:23 Scott_Masterson couldn't help but feel like the lesser half of a couple as they stepped onto the street, in direct contrast to their 'ranks' in the eyes of their fellow vampires. In the last year it had been easy to fall under the illusion that he was incredibly charming and attractive, though next to her the confidence lessened considerably. He counted three glances her way from various men across the street in as many seconds, and only one from a woman who had spotted him. It was hardly a scientific study, but suspected even it had been the results would have been similiar. He smiled slightly as that arm interlocked with his and she spoke. He nodded slightly to the left and began walking, responding after the first few steps to her somewhat surprising statement. He wasn't just why it was surprising, but in many ways he considered himself the opposite of intriguing, especially as far as vampires were concerned.

17:19:26 Scott_Masterson He had no ancient stories about Europe, or foreign languages in his vocabulary, or even sense enough to pay proper attention when base jumping...but he wasn't going to argue with her either. Maybe her fascination was the result of their unique relationship--in truth, he didn't care, and was only happy that the interest existed at all. " Well...how many of those did you actually *speak* to? Hard to tell how interesting something is when you're killing it..." He smiled, obviously not entirely serious. He had no doubt that she had in fact spoken to vampires before, though the specific circumstances eluded him. " No, I appreciate it. Even if it is undeserved." He had to wonder momentarily how many of her views would remain if she had seen him back in Canada, or the United States...using all of his 'uniqueness' to rob people <

17:19:34 Scott_Masterson of their wallets and purses, and usually travelling in filthy clothes from having slept in the ground. In retrospect, he had become a sort of animal for that short period. Conversation of any sort had been rare, not to mention brief. He smiled again at the words she spoke, and spotted yet another man's eyes glancing to her before Scott's company forced them to flicker away. " Young and beautiful. *Always* young and beautiful. Like you." He let his eyes shift back to the sidewalk ahead, just as crowded as every night seemed to be. He spotted a young couple--or what could have a whore and her customer--slinking off into the darkness of an alley, their gestures leaving little question to their intentions. "There." he spoke, nodded slightly with his head... " Perfect timing." He continued to lead Joe towards the alley, prompting her to follow inside with <

17:19:53 Scott_Masterson a playful tug that would give the same impression to any onlookers that he had gotten from the young couple. And there they were, half way down the alley and pressed against the wall in a passionate embrace. " I only wish there were equally convenient places in cities. I've seen so many alleys they're all blending together." He smiled slightly, and continued walking side-by-side with Joe, as though they were just another couple taking a short cut.

17:38:23 [`Joe] She couldnt help but laugh. He had a point in some aspect, even if it was a slight joke. "Yes, I've spoken with a couple. Against the rules and everything I knew to be right. They were interesting. More depthful then I would have imagined. Just people trapped in thier bodies forever." It had amazed her how her aspect of things had completely changed from then till now. How she could view the same thing with two completely different views. A smile spread over her lips as he spoke again, nodding. It wasnt long before her eyes spotted the couple disappearing into the alley that he had pointed towards. Nodding, she followed with him, playing that eager lover part to a perfect T. She even found herself giggling as she was tugged into the alley's mouth, something she hadnt done in a long time. Her shinning blue eyes held the couple trapped in a lovers embrace for a moment before skipping back to Scott with a nod. "After awhile, everything just kinda blends." ---

17:38:28 [`Joe] Hooking her arm around his again, she laid her head on his shoulder and watched the two out of the corner of her eye. She wasnt as good as him at the hunting thing, or knowing when to strike, so she'd leave it up to him. But she was ever watchful of the two, even as thier movements began to get heated, ignoring the pair of vampires at thier backs. It amazed how much people cared about thier safty these days. However, the lack of care was better for them. It made it easier to take them unprepared.

17:53:37 Scott_Masterson let go of Joe's hand just as the couple they were passing began to take notice of their presence, and without hesitation he pulled the man off the woman, pushing him towards Joe even as his eyes settled on the still-shocked woman. It was now obvious that she wasn't a prostitute, but rather a young tourist dressed up for a night on the town, a simple black dress similiar to Joe's covering her body and a tattoo of a shamrock visible on her shoulder. He stepped forward and bit hard into the woman's neck, covering her mouth just as he had done so many times before to stifle the scream that would inevitably follow the act. It was possible for him to make the bite pleasurable, as most vampires did, but simply couldn't be bothered with the effort. She was already struggling, and the courtesy was undeserved. He moaned only slightly as the blood began to flow, that familiar sensation

17:53:39 Scott_Masterson creeping over him just as the heroin had in life, filling every vein...every square inch of his being in seconds flat. A small yelp escaped her lipstick-red lips and he had to re-tighten the grip on her mouth, while at the same time being careful not to break any of her teeth, or even her small neck. His free hand had instinctively found her right arm, holding it tightly to her side in a protective gesture he had learned early on in his unlife when that black-haired Saskatchewan whore had pulled the revolver and shot him. It suddenly became apparent that this girl was left-handed, when the blade of a small knife was shoved into his stomach with the unguarded hand. He grunted, and the grip on her mouth tightened considerably--dislodging a few of her teeth in the process and causing another stifled scream to escape her lips with the pain. He didn't move, only continued feeding <

17:53:48 Scott_Masterson despite the stomach wound and the barely-perceived pain over the rush of the feeding. Her hand jabbed the knife again, and again he grunted and forced her head back against the brick wall behind her. She blacked out, that hand slipping from the handle of the blade and her body suddenly wanting to fall to the ground as he repositioned both hands to stop that from happening.

18:06:25 [`Joe] He'd moved quicker then she'd expected and her grip on the man had almost failed. Almost. The bone crushing strength she wasnt used to, did just that to his wrist bone, causing the male to call out from the firey pain. She had to pull back hard to slam him into the wall and press her form into him. He was a fighter, trying to protect what was his. And most likely half way drained by now. The words 'don't hurt her' passed his lips before her elongated teeth sunk into his flesh, the hot blood pouring into her mouth. She swallowed, holding back a satisfied sigh at the feel of it. Her body was positioned against his in a manner that allowed for little to no movement on his part. One hand pressed against the elbow of one arm, and her knee holding the other against the wall at his wrist. Her free hand was holding his head to the side, fingers curled around those soft stands of hair he possessed. He mumbled here and there about the woman, but for the most part was silent as the grave. ----

18:06:29 [`Joe] She felt him weakening. His stuggles becoming less and less as she continued to feed, until they were silent. She fed still, until his heartbeat became but a soft thumping in her ear. And still she fed, unaware of what was going on behind her. Or the knife that the other woman had weilded. The man's form soon became limp, causing her to reposition and hold him upright until that exact moment she was to let go. She felt full again. Sated as his blood pushed through her body, warming her. Her half starved self was beginning to feel replinished. Stronger. A moment longer and she let the body fall to the ground, turning to face Scott and the woman. The first thing she saw was all the red and knew that it couldnt have possibly been all from the woman. The second she saw was the woman's mouth, broken and bloodied. She didnt say anything then, simply continued to let him feed. She'd find out what had happened soon enough.

Joe

18:08:59 Chanel stared out over the city, the blood she had ingested tasting like ashe in her mouth. Her fingers curled over the edge of the stone bridge she sat upon, her legs dangling over the edge as the turrent of water swirled in black currents several feet or so below her. Water swirled below her, dew-dropping along her form almost like a mist. She pressed her forhead against the cool stone railing, taking comfort in its cool carresses, taking no notice of the passerbyers. People tried off and on to coax her from her spot, afraid the beautiful but strange lady might jump, but when she continued sitting there, the crowd gathered and ebbed, the humans eventually leaving her alone. It was late, and the city rested for the most part. She cared not for the humans still about, barely sensed the flicker of unlife she sensed from the other vampires not too far away. She, always a social creature had hardly been seen in over a week, and it caused a stirr among certain circles. She cared naught. As she stared into the swirli

18:09:13 [Chanel] swirling waters, seeing and yet unseeing, varous birds perched onto her heads and shoulders. Doves mostly, thinking her a statue. Finally after seemingly an eternity, she moved, easing back away from the railing, the birds startled taking wing and moving on soundless flight into the air. She turned her gaze up to mark their progress, but did nothing more.

18:25:57 Scott_Masterson leaned against the small, limp body as he settled it against the wall and continued to feed, ignoring the knife still portruding from his stomach entirely. The pain barely registered, and whatever part of it did was so clouded by the liquid euphoria that it was irrelevant. He listened to Joe's progress, and though he couldn't see her from this angle, it was obvious she had had less trouble than he had. He finished first due to the victim's size and by association the lesser amount of blood in her system, and just like Joe he found himself struggling not to drain the girl entirely. When he finally forced himself to pull the fangs out her heartbeat was just as weakened as the one he heard from behind him, perhaps moreso. He glanced to her face momentarily before dropping her to the ground, what had moments ago been a fresh faced teenager was a bloody mess with a partial tooth sticking halfway out of her mouth, her lower jaw obviously broken. He gave an exasperated sigh, more the result of the feeding <

18:26:00 Scott_Masterson rush than the knfe handle he spotted coming out of his stomach. He wiped his mouth on his sleeve and then pulled the knife out, letting the five inch blade fall to the ground beside the girl and inspecting his shirt--which had, yet again, become ruined with a fist-sized patch of blood. Luckily, buttoning up his suit jacket would cover it entirely. He slid a hand over the wound, aiming to block the bloodflow while the incision healed enough to stop bleeding, and turned to look over Joe. She looked just as invigorated as he felt, and the smeared blood on her face had only enhanced the allure that was always present. He smiled slightly, leaning back against the wall. " Bitch stabbed me. You gotta be careful about that. I always try to grab their right hand, just in case." His free hand worked the cigarettes out of his pocket and struggled to liberate one from the pack... " Turns out she's a leftie." He nudged her body slightly with one of the <

18:26:06 Scott_Masterson black dress shoes he wore, though that slowed heartbeat ensured she wasn't going anywhere anytime soon. He seemed to reconsider his action and bent to pick up the knife, thinking it was probably better not to leave the vampire blood coated blade at the scene. He tucked it into his suit pocket, lit the cigarette, and began buttoning the jacket when a quick check of his hand showed the bloodflow had already slowed. He looked over the man's limp body, and offered his arm to Joe again. "Shall we?" He didn't know where they would head next, but he definitely felt better.

18:51:47 [Charlie] After having left the apartments, Charlie began wandering the city, not paying much attention to where it was that he was going. His head was down and his eyes remained on the ground, watching the cracks and bumps as his mind drifted into and out of the events of the past week and his latest meeting with Joe. Slowly he began to drift toward one of the rivers, as he enjoyed photographing the lights along the water. With nothing else that could be done at the time, he'd checked around but had still seen no sign of Chanel. Coming to sit on the bank, Charlie rested his camera on his knee, focusing it against the blackness of the water, watching the orbs and lines of light as they did their dance along the ripples and currents. Humming a Sinatra tune to himself, he zoomed in a little before snapping a shot. His back was to the nearby bridge and though he had a nagging sort of feeling in the back of his mind, as though there were something he was missing, he had no idea as of yet that the one that had been on his--

18:52:02 [Charlie] mind so often was less than 100 yards away.

18:58:52 [`Joe] He looked a wreack as he dropped the body, the small blade sticking out from his gut. Her brows furrowed then, eyes flicking back and forth between one and the other, before nodding her head. She'd made it a practice to restrain the limbs of each victim, ensureing her safety. Not that humans posed much of a threat to her anyways. Nodding again, she help up her finger and turned back to the man. "I was thinking, to you know, make these things look like muggings. Take thier things." Rooting through the mans pockets, she withdrew a billclip that held roughly a couple hundred dollars, a wallet with identification, and a pocket watch. Handing them back to Scott, being apparently pocketless in the dress, she then used the mans shirt to clear the blood from her face. Standing, she turned back to him to see if he had done the same thing before taking his arm and grinning. "Where to, Monsieur?" she asked, smiling up at him. The night was still young, in ther aspect of the world,----

18:58:56 [`Joe] and though he had gotten hurt once more, she knew he healed just as quickly and didnt want to waste the night. As much as she wanted to just go back to the apartment, she didnt want to make him feel bored. "Anywhere is fine with me." she chimed in, moving her arm around him to wrap around his back, her hand resting on his hip, leaning her head on his shoulder.

19:12:28 Chanel felt the pull almost as sure as she felt the water that cascaded off her skin in dew drops. She pulled out of her daze, slowly lifting her head and turning it as she watched the male on the bank snapping pictures. Her eyes settled on his back, and it wasn't long before she began moving. She slowly pushed herself to her feet, walking along the edge of the bridge until she reached its end and gently walked down the slope towards the riverbank, her skirts swishing as she walked. She was splended in goassamer silk, a black lace choker adorning her throat with a white dew-drop pearl accenting the swell of her breasts. Her dress hugged every curve from the waist up, the arms bare, leaving almost nothing to the imagination. She moved behind him, silent now, a smile coming to her face as she neared the mortal. She slid her arms around his waist and pulled him back against her, her teeth primed at his throat. She did not bite, instead she offered a gentle carress of lips and teeth. "You have been out of my presence

19:12:45 [Chanel] too long, human.." She whispered in Charlies ear as her fingers tightened.

19:15:58 Scott_Masterson 's good mood had only been enhanced considerebly by the events of the alley, the surprise he had felt back in the bathtun at his body's ability to regenerate after injury now only galvanized once more. He was very aware that if he hadn't been feeding at the time, the knife would have produced a sizeable amount of pain--and by association just how little he had actually felt it at the time due to the feeding. He lit the cigarette dangling between his lips just as Joe spoke, and couldn't help the smile from reappearing as she moved for the man's wallet. He had been neglecting that particular part of things simply because of her presence, and some imagined idea that she would have somehow thought less of him, though that quickly seemed just as ridiculous as it was. She knew he had killed...robbery was hardly a character flaw at this point. "Good idea." He spoke around the cigarette, accepting the money and other posessions she handed him with a look of interest. After a long moment he knelt and <

19:16:00 Scott_Masterson picked up the small purse, searching it and finding only makeup and a few stray bills that were quickly added to the stash in his jacket pocket. He locked arms with Joe again and moved out of the alley at a normal pace, the smile still evident. Despite his almost non-existant power in the world of vampires, he couldn't help but feel like some demi-god at the moment. He had suffered enough injury in this night alone to kill two human men, or at the very least put them in the hospital for a long while. And yet here he was, walking arm-in-arm with Joe again and feeling even more prepared for the rest of the night than he had upon leaving the apartment. The hunger was not entirely satiated, though it never seemed to be aside from the first minutes after a feeding, and he could tell already that even more blood would be necessary before the night was through. " Entirely up to you." He <

19:16:06 Scott_Masterson spoke plainly, studying her face and stopping very quickly to wipe the remainder of a crimson smudge from her chin before he continued walking. " We could swing by Le Romantica for some dessert, find the address in this wallet and see what valuables are laying around...or we could just walk like this for a while, the best looking couple in Paris." He laughed slightly at his own joking narcissism, bringing the cigarette back to his lips with his free hand and studying her again. He suddenly became distracted, and slowed before stopping altogether as he became aware of that familiar buzz creeping into his conscious, the one that every elder seemed to emit like radiowaves to vampire ears. " You feel that?" He asked without looking to her, studying the streets ahead of them and--as always--entirely unsure just which ancient he was sensing at the moment.

19:24:53 [Charlie] His face flushed at the touch of her lips on his throat, a swell of something akin to joy bursting through himat the touch. "Chanel...where have you been?" He leaned his head back, bringing his arms up around her shoulders, tilting her head to the side and placing a kiss wherever it was that he could reach. "I thought you'd forgotten all about me." He sounded somewhat dejected, like a wounded puppy almost. Slowly he turned himself around so that he was on his knees facing her, wrapping his arms around her shoulders and laying his head so that his face was buried in her neck, covering it with kisses. "Didn't think I'd see you again." Holding her as closely as he could, he released one hand and used it to slip his camera into the side pocket of his shorts. What a mismatched pair they were, Chanel in her fine clothing and him in shorts and a pair of shirts along with his usual old and beaten hat. He looked something akin to a beach bum, though there was no beach to be found. Bringing the arm back up, he wrapped-

19:25:07 [Charlie] it back around her, moving his head up to place a kiss on her cheek, just beside her lips. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't be questioning you....it's just....nevermind, it doesn't matter anymore."

19:31:20 [`Joe] There was so much to do and so much to see in Paris that it would take a life time or two to see it all. She was glad she, as far as nothing horrible happened, that she'd be able to do it whenever she wanted. And she'd be able to do it all with Scott if he so wished. "The club sounds good. Sure to be others there this time of night." She nodded then, smiling up at him. "Though making Paris' populace jealous sounds intruiging as well. So between those two, you choose." Between the euphoria of just feeding, and the being there with them, she was back to her favorite cloud, dancing around. There was so much she had experience now then she had ever dreamed of in her previous life and nothing could bring her down. Nothing but the feeling she got at the presence of what she could only guess was a elder. She nodded to Scott's question, looking up at him again. "Do we go to it, whoever they are, or continue on with our plans?" She wasnt sure how these things worked. ---

19:31:26 [`Joe] If an elder was near, did they have an obligation to go to them, or were they able to continue on with thier actions, no matter what those actions were. Her eyes held, looking up at him to wage his features and what he may be thinking. Moving closer to him, if that was possible, she finally tore her gaze away to look ahead of them, trying to see if she could see who it even was.

19:36:32 Chanel felt a smile tug at the corner of her lips, his presence chasing away the cobwebs of her doubt. She was glad to see him. "I'm sorry precious..i was..out." She tightened her hold on him for a moment in possessive relief that he wasn't upset with her and after a moment, she loosened her hold, feeling the weight of his arms against her. It felt strange to receive such affections..and yet..she felt a flicker of something.. She watched the human curiously as he covered her with kisses, and she simply ran her hand along his side as she tilted her head, dark locks of hair getting into her eyes. She shook her head. "I could never forget about you." She cupped her hand against his chin, her eyes searching his. She gave him another fleeting smile, though it was somewhat shadowed with worry. She pressed a kiss to his forehead. "You have been getting on well without me?" She asked, concerned. She slowly sat down next to him, smoothing her skirts out as she felt the cold ground seeping through her clothing. She leaned

19:36:49 [Chanel] agaisnt him, letting him do what he will even as she felt the first prickle of other vampire presence. She stirred, kisssing his cheek, even as her hand moved slowly along his arm. Her eyes returned to Charlie's, and she furrowed her brow. "Sometimes I must leave, to attend business elsewhere..please do not worry, or think I abandon you. I do not. I would never abandon you, my pet." She whispered fervently, her eyes shining in the night. She closed her eyes, resting her head against his shoulder even as she scried outward, testing the boundaries of her will for the presence of others. She knew others were close, but not close enough to find out who.

19:50:50 Scott_Masterson slowly began to walk again, prompting Joe to do the same as he considered her question. He did not feel that there was any requirement to approach an elder as soon as they were sensed--indeed, if there was, he had broken that unknown rule a handful of times already--but the curiosity had him wanting to investigate. He still owed Chanel an apology, despite knowing she was not out for either his or Joe's blood, and the last visit with the vampire Aemilius had ended on a less-than-friendly note. Of coures, it could also have been Eris...who, despite her peculiarities, had proven to be almost suspiciously protective of him and Joe, though perhaps the most approachable of the three. He took another slow drag on the cigarette, flicking it without thought into a trash bin as they passed and his eyes continued to scan the streets ahead with no result. " Le Romantica is back this way anyway...let's just walk and see which we come across first." He smiled again before adding <

19:50:53 Scott_Masterson " Looking good on the way, of course." He had been considering placing a kiss on that cheek of hers and then hesitated when he caught yet another male citizen across the street looking over Joe with the unmistakeable look of lust in his eyes. He promptly returned the stare just as before, and just as before it quickly shifted directions. It was clear that, if she had even been 'allowed' a human boyfriend in her human life, the position would have been maddening. He continued to glance down sidestreets and alleys as they passed, trying to place the location of the elder and only getting the sense that they were slowly coming closer with each step. He decided to talk, mainly to ease any tensions she might have at the prospect, and did so in a slightly quieted voice that quieted even moreso when someone passed close enough on the sidewalk to overhear.

19:50:59 Scott_Masterson " I was thinking earlier about the whole...holy water thing." he paused to think for a moment, as well as to let an elderly woman shuffle past... " It works...that much is obvious. So doesn't that mean...that there is a God? I mean, it has to, right?" Somehow the revelation had eluded him thus far, perhaps some subconscious choice that did not want to investigate further. He did not expect Joe to know the answer, and the question was posed just as much to himself as to her. In truth, the revelation would have changed nothing for him even if she had somehow verified it.

19:54:00 [Charlie] "I am sorry to have doubted you, my lady." He closed his eyes for a few moments, letting the reality of the situation sink in, noone had left him, noone had abandoned him, he was cared for, he was loved. It was only then that the possible reprocussions of what he had been considering fell onto him like a sack of bricks, bringing tears to his eyes. "I...didn't do well." He said in a shaky sort of voice. "I.." He stopped, not sure if he wanted to speak it, wanted her to know, but that tug in his mind told him that honesty was the best thing. "I considered jumping off of the tower, putting us all out of our misery...I was a mess, but everything is better now." He grinned up at her with the tears standing out in his eyes as he ran a hand through her hair, down along her shoulder, he didn't want to let her go, didn't want to let her out of his sight or his touch. In a way it was as though he needed to reassure himself that she was there, honestly and truly. "Please, please, I know it is not my place to question--

19:54:22 [Charlie] or request things of you, but would you please, please, tell me the next time you are leaving, just a note or a mental wave, however that thing works, so that I know." Charlie's head tilted to the side, resting against hers as he found himself running a hand up and down her back, humming to himself. His voice was far from that of a professional, but it was above average, soft and mellow.

20:04:03 Chanel was startled enough to move her head back away from his shoulder, her body tensing up as she considered the implications. "You would jump from a tower and smash your body on the rocks below?" She felt her mouth go dry at the prospect. She unconscously moved her thumb against his eyes, dashing away the tears, even as she felt her body go cold all over. She was suddenly angry, and her temper was fierce. Her eyes narrowed on his and she considered pushing him away from her. "It is not your place to question my motives, or even what I do." She moved her hand up, fingers digging into his chin as she forced him to look at her. "Perhaps I have been too careless with you. Or perhaps given you your freedom way too easily. Apparently you do not appreciate it." She tightened her fingers painfully and then thrust herself away from him, letting him go as she got up and walked away from him. She stilled, turning with a swish of her skirts. "You are never to think or attempt such a thing again. You are never to question

20:04:46 `Joe began walking again at his insistance, no matter how much she wanted to go in the other direction. The other direction felt safer. More secure. But she went anyways, pressing into him as much as she could. She wasnt sure how she felt about running into an elder when she didnt know which one it was. It could have been any of those they had met, or could have been another that they had yet to cross paths with before. That thought alone had her wanting to stop and drag him back the other direction. Aemilius, Chanel, or Eris would have been more welcomed to her then another she didnt know. Another that could pose a threat that she didnt want to face. Yet, she continued on her way with him. Even as her mind went into the process of thinking of all the bad things that could happen. She'd missed the stare from the human man, to obsessed with her own thoughts to even care. She hadnt even noticed the looks when she was human. Now that she wasnt, those stares that Scott seemed to notice went ingnored and ---

20:04:50 [`Joe] completely un-noticed. As he posed his question, she thought about it for a moment. Holy water did work. It was something she'd seen over and over again. But she also knew that it worked only when the person using it had a complete and utter faith to the lord. "I.... I'm not so sure anymore." If there had been a god, surely he wouldnt have created the monsters that they were or could be. Surely he would have rid the world of vampires before they'd even populated the world. "I guess there could be. But I don't know." She shrugged, looking up at him. "Thats something I guess we'll never find out. Seeing as if there is, we are going straight to hell anyways."

20:04:55 [Chanel] me. Do you understand me?" Her temper was fierce and she was upset that he would do such a thing. Her fingers curled into fists. She wanted to slap him for even thinking of destroying his body in such a manner. But when she stared at him, her expression softened at his tears and the anguish on his face, and she shivered all over. She turned her back, and hugged herself. She let out a breath, dropping the volume of her voice. "Tell me you won't do that again, or even think of it.."
20:15:42 [Charlie] "I won't, I won't." Charlie remained on the ground, his hands digging into the soil as he hung his head in shame. He'd angered her, he'd done wrong, but how was he to know that she'd cared? "I do not think myself fully capable of doing as such anyways. It was merely a consideration and nothing more than that. the fantasy of a miserable man looking for a way out. I promise it will not happen and that I will not consider. I had thought all things lost but I know now that is not the case." Slowly he pulled his hands out of the dirt and wiped his face, leaving a small smudge of mud, before pulling back to sit down, pulling his knees to his chest and resting his head on them. "I understand you, my lady. My life is not my own to do with it as I wish, I forgot this fact for a moment in weakness, please do not be angry with me, please." Charlie crawled to his feet and started toward her, holding a hand out, though only after wiping it off on his pants. "I will do anything for you, go anywhere, even give myself for--

20:15:59 [Charlie] but I promise you, I will not do any harm without your order. I am yours." He knelt down in front of her, holding his hand up to her, eyes wide and shining in the night lights.

20:31:20 Chanel felt conflicting emotions on the whole affair. She heard him speak, felt the movements of his body as he moved. Spoke. She said nothing, her anger turning to ice. At least on appearances. She cared, perhaps more than she let on. "Do you find my service so detesting?" She asked in a hurt voice. What had she asked of him, required of him? Had she really done him so wrong to make him want to fling himself off a building? She turned as he moved up to her side. He was her first thrall. Had she really made such a mess of things? She could see he was struggling even as he struggled to fullfil her every whim. She could see the person behind the thrall, just lurking behind his eyes and knew that she couldn't keep him as he was. She felt a pang within her, it was almost physical. Surely it was emotional. She blinked back the beginning of tears. She let out a breath, feeling the hurt coil inside her. Settle inside her. She was never one to hold one against their will, and it chaffed at her even as much as it chaffed

20:31:35 [Chanel] at him. "Charlie, I release you from my service. You are free to go. Free to do what you will. Free to deny my orders, or any part of them. I am unfit to be your mistress." She turned from him, feeling her voice tighten even further. "Do what you will." She moved up the bank away from him and back towards the bridge.

20:51:26 [Charlie] "Being under your service is not detesting, but to be left without a word, and then to have this followed by my only other friend forgetting about me for a new life, I felt as though there was noone left who gave a shit about me. But I could not go home, could not go back to my family." He'd hurt her, oh no he'd hurt her. "Please, Chanel, do not be upset." He got to his feet and wrapped his arms around her, wiping the tears from her eyes. "You are not..." But he was cut off by her words, her release. His eyes seemed to clear as they widened and his head began to clear. This woman had put him through a living hell and yet he'd wanted to apologize? Had gone crawling to her like some sort of dog to be leashed and taken in? "How could you?" His voice was a whisper as he watched her leave. "How could you do that to me, to Joe....how could you be so cruel?" He stumbled backwards and, before she could change her mind, began running along the bank of the river, a mixture of anger, joy, betrayal, and a kind of hazy--

20:51:41 [Charlie] confusion. Perhaps sometime he would approach Chanel, he could see that she was in pain, but right now he could not be with her, could not bear it after what he had been through. He needed to be alone for a while.

21:07:01 Chanel felt his arms encircling her, his whispered protests. But when she whispered the invocations for his release, she felt even greater pain when he recoiled from her as if she were a viper. It hurt, oh gods it hurt. She willed herself to be strong, to face whatever she had done. She closed her eyes, feeling his shocked words peirce her heart more strongly than the sharpest blade. How could she have been so cruel? She was cruel in the only way she knew how. She had saved Scotts life in exchange for binding Charlies..and for what? Betrayal. Scott had not spoken to her since, and he even changed his precious vampire hunter. Charlie had wanted to throw himself from a tower. And even as his presence faded, it was only when he was gone that she felt the dispair crash over her. She tightened her fingers over the bridge's railing as she reached it and only when the human was gone did she feel her knees weaken. She was hardly aware of the buzzing in her ears, or the pain that jolted her as her knees hit the pavement.

21:25:43 [Dean_Walt] I had been out for the day, all this new world vampire stuff was still running wild in my head and being no closer to finding the women I was with the night of my turning left me at square one for quite some time. So today I took a day off to really take in Paris, I had only been here for a short time before I was turned, it seemed as though I didn't even know where I was half the time, so today, I got to know Paris. It was actually a nice day aside from feeling strange the entire time and the sunglasses, by sunset I was thanking god it was night. I was by the river now and I had my hands in my pockets, my glasses hooked in my shirt. I glanced over to the bridge seeing a man run off in which I then noticed Chanel suddenly falling to her knees, "What...the..." I made my dash for her and in no time I was there on the bridge kneeling down next to her, "Chanel! Hey are you alright?" I looked to her slowly placing my hand on her back gently, "What happened? Who was that guy...? He looked familiar..."

21:28:09 Violent_Harvest The nightlife of Paris was a hard place to stay away from for someone such as himself. A person who'd let themselves go over the edge, careening over the edge of madness to dwell within things that no human being should ever be curious about. His body was racked with pain from the previous night, but he was immensely satisfied with the results of his experiment. Walking straight in to one of the most dangerous buildings in Europe, he had put on the part of the innocent human party-goer, looking for that next drink or killer buzz and some good stiff sex to close the evening. Instead, he'd violently and deliberately spilled his own blood all over the counter of the bar just to see them all get *perky.* It was astonishing, watching the startling difference between the human beings and -them- when the smell took their senses for a ride. It was visibly possible to pick out every single one of them among the crowd, if they were within a certain distance, of course... <C>

21:28:16 Violent_Harvest And so he found himself deriving more pleasure in a place where he had no earthly business. The call was still burning within his mind, beckoning him in to insanity and madness, and yet he balanced himself on the fencepost. The delicate balance and mixture of messages in his head was impossibly hard to form in to a cohesive thought pattern or level of comprehension, and so he just reveled in the moment. That was why he headed to the club now. To satisfy the tick, the celestial urge for pleasure and violence and the thrill of dancing with death. There was no better existence for an escaped mental patient.... although he wouldn't technically consider himself one anymore.... not when his doctors were all deceased. He smirked and stepped in line. Perhaps he was stylish and attractive enough to skip the hooplah, but standing out was not one of his objectives at the moment. <E>

21:37:40 [Chanel] "Have I failed you so quickly..?" She whispered, her voice tight with emotion..in the silence of the night, she no longer felt the presence of the other two vampires who had strayed towards her path. She no longer felt the human heartbeat that had been chained to her will. She felt hollow. Alone. She hadnt wanted to let Charlie go, but she knew he must. Would he come back with avengence and seek to undo the spark of her unlife? She didn't know, and while she gathered herself, she just sat there in a daze. She was hardly aware of the boy who dashed to her side, or even his frantic words that ushered nearly untelligablly. She felt the hand on her back, and she slowly lifted her head. Her face was stained with tears of blood, and she wavered, physically and mentally weakened from the intense cut off she had esperienced when she let the thrall, Charlie go. It was one side to releasing a thrall she didn't care to experience. And yet..she cared for the human. She dashed the tears from her eyes even as she came ba

21:37:50 [Chanel] back to herself slowly but surely. She shook her head, lowering her head as black tresses got into her eyes. "No matter, he is gone and nigh likely to come back. Do not concern yourself with an old woman.." She let out a breath, staring out over the water.

21:53:17 [Dean_Walt] I watched as she slowly lifted her head and I saw the tears of blood as they dripped from her eyes, "What happened." I slowed down for her as I'm sure my rushed panic made my past words hard to compute due to whatever had upset her. I listened to her words and then spoke, "That guy from before...?" I then paused as she looked out over the water, "Come on. Lets try and stand up." I moved to stand my hands there to help her up if she needed it, "Look I...I don't know what's happened here but I think maybe we should go some place where you can take a moment to yourself or something...perhaps your club? Or....wherever." I fell silent again waiting to see what she wanted to do, it seemed as though even for all that we were we still could feel, could experience life on a human level as much as the humans could at times.

22:06:50 Nexxus returns to the dear city of Paris with as much impunity as he'd had when he had left to do business. It was a staggering thing, being gone for so short a time and to come back to find the entire vampiric community in an uproar over something. That something, he had no idea about, but the mood-flush was running the gambit from crazy to hyper and down to seriously depressed in one go. It was rather imtimidating. Not that it mattered much. But it didn't take long for him to find several familiar people, and he'd seem to appear out of nowhere on the southern end of the bridge, walking up the slightly cracked stone and concrete while his veiled hues scan over the group that surrounds Mistress Chanel. As the outsider, he doesn't get any closer than though, but with his enhanced senses he can tell that something was seriously upsetting the dark woman. It made him shift a little uneasily. She was, after all, one of the oldest and most powerful of the vampires around.

22:14:07 Chanel let out a shuddering breath, barely feeling the tightly coiled pain from easing in her chest. She felt deadened, hollow, but Dean was a small comfort. "I released him from my service." She gave a wry smile. "It seems i am not meant for thralls, nor any other. I can't keep them, and they'd rather throw themselves from buildings." Her voice tightened again, even as he helped her up. He spoke soothing words, and for that I was greatful. She wavered on her feet as he steadied her with his hands, and she unconsciously leaned against the newlings chest even as she began to sense the presence of someone else. She shook her head, patting Dean's hand. "Not my club." Upon the appearance of Nexxus, she stilled. Her face became a careful mask, devoid of emotion except for the telltale darkening of her eyes and the strain he could most likely feel from her. "Nexxus." She whispered his name, the very name striking a cord within her. Her hand moved back to Dean's, tightening a moment even as her throat became dry. Her eyes

22:14:21 [Chanel] unconsciously went to the pulse in Nexxus's neck, and the urge to feed came to the forefront of her mind. It was so sudden, her eyes widened unexpectantly and she kept herself in check. Almost.

22:32:39 [Dean_Walt] I didn't quite know everything about thralls and such, I wasn't up to date but it seemed like she ment underling or something of a sort, someone who she is close to. She gave me a wry smile and I looked to her with soft eyes saying nothing. I listened to her next words and I didn't know what she ment except frot he context so I nodded and she let me help her up. She leant against my chest and I didn't quite know what to do, whether an embrace was what to do, or just be someone to lean on. My hands slowly rose up to touch her back softly. I still said not a word, she then mentioned it wasn't her club and I softly nodded. It was then that I noticed another nearby, she gave a name and I looked in the direction he was at, I lowered one of my hands from her back and I felt her own hand tightening around mine. Was she affraid? Was this person a threat or perhaps she was hungry for him or something, "Nexxus...." I whispered as I looked down to her, "Someone you know?"

22:39:39 Nexxus watches the two of them from a ways off still, though he knew that gaze he was getting from the Dark Mistress. It made his heart pound hard, and a smile slips across his lips. But he moves forward easily then, coming up before stopping a few feet away. "You okay, Lady Chanel?" He asks in fluid french, before arching a brow at Dean. "Who is the Neonite?" He asks then, in english. Neonite is the 'term' for an underling or newly created vampire. Usually including all vampires under the age of seventy-five to a century of unlife. It was a term he uses loosely, sense his type don't have any embraced individuals. They were all human. His crystal blue hues gaze steady over both of them, before he reaches up, as if to rub his right eye. When his hand comes down, his eye had turned a dark, near emerald green color. Ah hah, so that was it. A slim smile crosses his thin lips, though he turns his gaze to Chanel. She'd shed a bit of blood in her tears, and it seems that she's nearing half <C>

22:41:15 Nexxus <C> empty. Its hard enough for a vampire to fight against their hunger, it just gets worse the more blood they use up. He tilts his neck a little, teasing with a glimpse of his bared neck. His usual suite had been replaced with a plain set of black jeans and a matching printed T-shirt, some local London rock band logo on the back; though his dark hair was still slicked back.

22:54:26 Chanel kept her fingers entwined with Deans, though she loosened her hand. She didnt want to hurt him or break his fingers. She nodded to his question, even as she released his hand. She watched Nexxus after a moment. She felt another one of those wry smiles, though it lacked passion. She felt drained and until she fed, she would continue to do so. She raised her chin slightly. "Forgive my disassmbling manner. I am not myself." She said diplomatically. She didnt know why she was being so careful around him, around the other. Her eyes shifted towards Dean and she took a step aside, her hand closing around the railing. "I'm sure you two can introduce yourselves without my assistance." Her tone was dry, but warm none the less. She did not lose her blood in tears so much, but she felt drained from the days events and hunger gnawed at her. She felt an unaccustomed shiver at the offfering of Nexxus's neck, and she took a half a step towards him, even as she fought to control her hunger. She knew the consequences, she kne

22:54:56 [Chanel] knew what it did to her and she turned her head away, feeling her breath quicken. She slowly sat down again, and rested her head against the railing as she closed her eyes. She had to resist, and she knew in the end she couldnt. Still.

23:02:26 [Dean_Walt] I watched the man known as Nexxus step forward, he seemed confident and comfortable in his own shoes. Even with the steady beat of a heart and pulse around our kind. I could understand his french but I said nothing, Chanel could speak for herself and then when he spoke of me I raised an eyebrow, "Neo-what? Hey do you mind adressing me directly, speaking about me in third person while I'm here is a bit rude." I watched as he titled his head and I looked to Chanel and then back to him. I heard Chanel speak and I looked to her as she side stepped away from me. Looking to Nexxus I simply spoke, "The names Dean Walt, one 'l' " I could see in the corner of my eyes Chanel edging closer towards Nexxus and then back to the railing I stepped forward to Nexxus, "Hey do you wanna cut that out, she is obviously not in the state to be messed with alright." I didn't mean to speak for her but the emotional drama that she has been through ment she might not be herself, maybe I was wrong. I looked back to her, "You okay?"

23:08:12 Nexxus arches his dark brow high, watching Chanel release herself from Dean's grip, before moving to sit down on the edge of the bridge. Of course, he knew he was teasing, but his attention is drawn to Dean, and a dark look crosses his face at the young-ones imputence. As the neonite steps forward, Nexxus raises a hand, but instead of offering a handshake, his fingers shift into a quick sign held suspended in the air. Suddenly the air pressure around the young vampires legs would increase dramatically, hugging his calfs and down to his feet, rooting him in place. "You should know who you are talking to, Neonite." His words are soft, but bold and deep, a sharp warning tone in his voice. The slight use of magic was just for show, though, and it wouldn't take much for Dean to break its hold after a bit. He didn't want to waste that much energy on maintaining the spell. But he turns to Chanel, a near apologic smile on his face. <C>

23:10:13 Nexxus <C> "Kids have always needed to be taught their roles, along with respect for their elders." He says shortly, before he turns his dark gaze back to Dean, a slight snarl crossing his lips. Rather it was through his wealth, his prowess, or his age, he always demands respect, something that Chanel should have taken to heart a long time ago.

00:00:35 Chanel raised her head off the railing and gave each of them a lilting stare. It was disapproving in the very slightest. She slowly pushed herself to her feet, her fingers tightening over the rail even as she stared at Nexxus hard. She gave him no sympathy, and no leg room for manuever as it was. "I would appreciate it if you didn't mess with those under my protection." She arched a brow as she glanced at Dean's legs. She turned her head back to Nexxus, brushing her shoulder against Dean's as she passed him. She moved over to Nexxus, and rested her hand against his cheek, cupping it. Her fingers dug into his chin, lifting it higher to expose the neck. "Arrogance doesn't suit you." She purred in a silken voice. She felt rather than saw Dean take his leave, leaving the two alone on the bridge railing. She flared her nostrils as she breathed in the heady scent of his blood. She felt the pulse against her hand, her eyes continued boring into his. Her thumb sweeped up over the others bottom lip where his snarl rested.

00:00:55 [Chanel] She smirked, her fingers tightening. Apparently she was either recovering nicely from her previous ordeal, or she was a damned good liar. "Well?" She breathed.

00:06:04 Nexxus turns his gaze fully to Lady Chanel as she stands up, before watching her almost critically as she moves towards him, brushing past the little neonite who she claims is under her protection.
