16:18:46 DeWinter ’s writer doesn’t feel like going through the whole ‘lets RP’ thing so she just posts. Rude? Perhaps, but if she is anything like the char she types for, it’s understandable. However, fear not for there is a little bit of information to give. Look there, in the nasty cage, yes that one…now look beside it. Yes, DeWinter is that woman. Sitting there was a chain on her leg and bare feet. Her pants, well they look like she might have not gotten a new pair in years and were holding on with luck and stubbornness. The tank top she wore might have been called grey, but was stained with only God know what. She looked like she had once partaken of too many drugs, which was the truth. No, she was no beauty, and she had nothing to represent her for sale. That’s why she was so cheap. With her dark, dirty hair calling over her face, it was hard to see her anyway, and no one really gave her a second look. So, there you have her, the useless one. Covered in scares and tattoos and stuck here because she owed the wrong ~

16:19:07 [DeWinter] person money. Life, in short, is a bitch. So just where was this little blood bag hanging out? No telling, and hell if she knew. It looked like a warehouse or something to her. Maybe the back room of some place. She didn’t much care. All she knew was that she was hungry, and didn’t feel so good. What else is new right? Moving a little, she opened her eyes for the first time in a while. “ Anyone there? Hello?” He voice was laced with an odd Cheapside English accent. “ Bugger I got to piss people!”

16:37:40 Chanel moved out of the backroom where she had held negotiations with Nexxus. She kept her hand on the door as she half turned towards him, studying his eyes for the moment. "I mean it Nexxus, not anyone i care about. Got it?" She poked him in the chest, her hand trailing down for a moment. "And you answer to me. Or something. I dont know. Whatever it is, we'll work it out." She waved her hand as if it was beyond her. She shook her head, dark ringlets getting into her eyes as she brushed them out, a small almost unnoticable shudder passed through her. She walked down the hallway, her guards straightening up as she passed them. She moved out into the main section of Le Romantica, her club. It was late, the most of the humans being shuffled out. She looked about in suprise. Had it been that late? She watched one of her bartenders swweeping up, and she moved over to a table, sitting down. She wore a black corset dress with a skirt that came up just above her knees. The outfit hugged her body close, hiding noth

16:38:02 [Chanel] nothing. Her dark hair sloped around her shoulders and back, gently cupping her face, and her porcelin skin. Stilleto's completed the outfit. She shifted as she sat, leaning back to watch the cleanup.

16:59:42 DeWinter found a bit more energy, but it wasn’t like she was about to run a marathon or anything. Reaching down, she fiddled with the chain on her ankle until she was just about able to slip out of it. Has she not been so thin, this might have been an issue. Free at last, she fumbled around until she was able to find something that resembled a door and tada, she was free…well kinda. Still barefooted, she looked around completely lost. Poor little human, she wasn’t much better then dead. So, she started walking. The stink of vampire was all over her, just like the scares and bite marks. So just how did she end up in the club. Simple really, she was lost, dazed, and reeeeally needed to pee. So, in she went and right to the bathroom. It was there, as she was leaving that she just kinda gave out. Her body let her get a few steps from the door and just popped out causing her to slide down the wall. People walked around her, looking disgusted. Hell, she didn’t care, she didn’t even really knotice.

17:06:32 Chanel set her chin in her hands as she watched Nexxus with unreadable eyes. She smiled. His answer had pleased her. To have her own magician..she wondered what Aemilius would say.She sat back, watching Nexxus a moment. "And a little of the usual for me." She added. She felt strange, the workers more vibrant than they had been. She closed her eyes shuddering. Whatever else she had gained in ther, she hadnt expected it.She watched him for a moment as she opened her eyes, sitting up as she heard a servant move up to her. He whispered in her ear, and she stood up, following behind him. She glanced at Nexxus, giving him leave to stay or go as he wanted. She moved down some steps and towards the entrance. Other servants were already trying to get the girl to move from the wall she had slid down. "Junkie?" She asked and knelt down. The servents really didnt know. She took the girls chin in her hand, turned her head this way and that. She swore, her hand recoiling. So thats what she was...she stared at the scars litterin

17:06:44 [Chanel] littering her body, plain to see to a vampire. "Huh."

17:12:01 Nexxus glances back at Chanel over his shoulder and smiles easily enough, sitting at the bar as he gets his cheese-covered fries, munching on them gingerly while sipping on his double order of scotch. Ah. It makes him wish he'd take back up smoking. But then again, maybe a pipe would be better. He thinks about it, before turning and watching as Chanel gets up and heads to the entrance where several of the workers and stuff are, mulling about over someone who'd collasped. Its almost time for the bar to close, so what's going on? He doesn't know, but is too hungry and a little too lazy now to really check it out. So it keeps his seat and eats, watching them all though out of curiousity. But then he spots Chanel recoil. He frowns a little, and after a moment of weaving his spell, and licks his lips and speaks into her ear again. "What is it?" The words are whispered thinly into the air infront of him, but she could hear him as if he were there at her side. It was a marvious spell, simple and easy to <C

17:12:13 Nexxus <C> adjust as needed, and she could talk back to him too just like that.

17:24:19 DeWinter didn’t look like she was going anywhere soon. When the people tried to get her up, she just looked at them like they were crazy. “ Bugger off, I’m fine!” She really wasn’t all there right now, but at least she didn’t seem violent. When the woman came over and took her chin, De just narrowed her eyes for a moment. “ Your one of them aren’t you?” The words might not have made sense, but De knew what she meant. She had been around vampires a long time, up close and personal like, so she had her ways of figuring out who was and wasn’t. She knew when someone wasn’t human, or at least she had a really good idea. “ I guess I stumbled right into a bad karma joke.” Well, her body might be at deaths door, but her mouth seemed well enough.

17:34:15 Chanel studied the girl, checking her resperation and th eway her body just lay there like a junk pile. She didnt touch her again. At least, not at the moment. The thing disgusted her. "Stop being lazy." She said to no on ein particular. She squinted and tilted her head as she eyed the girl. "YOu know, I could leav eyou here. You could starve to death. Maybe even get thrown out on the street. Do you know where you are girl?" She asked, gently probing. "Bet a meal and a bath would do you right good. Unless you dont want one.." She offered a shrug, as if she really didnt care. She kept silent about the 'one of them' comments. She chuckled at her last word, and shook her head, standing up. "Get her fed, dressed and bathed. I dont care what order.." She walked away from DeWinter, and the men moved in, more men than DeWinter could really fight off, not in her state anyway. She moved back towards nexxus, and stared at his fries. "I dont know how you can eat that stuff." Meanwhile, the men took DeWinter into the back.

17:34:24 [Chanel] She looked sullen, she really didnt want the kid on her doorstep, but what else was she to do?

17:41:10 Nexxus watches the mess from the distance, hearing everything Chanel says before offering a slight smile as she comes back his way. But as she asks abou him eatting real food, he laughs again. "I told you, I'm still human. Gotta have the good-oh food in my belly. I could live off the energy of blood alone, but its a poor substitute for what my body is built to do natually. That way, everything extra goes staight into my magic bag of tricks." He says under his breath, before biting off about half of the current frie held in his fingers. Eh, he's so damned picky that he isn't scarffing it down nor getting any of the liquid cheese on his clothing or anything. Especially after having to mend them to begin with. "I take it the girl has had a run in with some of us that arent' so careful about revealing outselves?" He asks, motioning to Winter as the guys carry her upstairs. He hadn't inspected her, so he wouldnt know, but he could almost smell the stink about her. Rogue vampires, eh. They need to <

17:41:17 Nexxus <C> be staked and left out in the sun to roast.

18:12:26 Chanel stared at Nexxus with an unreadable gaze. "I could fix that.." She offered, her voice lower than human range, as surredly as his. She leaned against the bar, glancing as the last of her human workers filtered off. At least the ones not tending to DeWinter, whoever she was. She ran her hand through her silk hair, dark crystalline eyes watching him eat with an inhumane disgust she couldnt disguise. "Huh." She said and turned her head away from the pile of carbs that he was stuffing down his throat. She didnt feel hungry, no not after what she had tasted. She glanced back at Nexxus. "I wont know until I question her." She said simply, watching the people begin to lock up. She had an apartment somewhere on the property, and others elsewhere. She didnt stay here all the time, but she could if she wanted to.

8:22:25 Nexxus shrugs a little. "Nah... Then I'd loose my magic. Real vampires can't use it." He says plainly enough, finaly finishing up his cheese-covered french fries while sipping on his scotch before finishing it up. Aaah. Good. Now his stomach is comfy, and he feels better. "But no matter, but maybe I should talk to the girl. I'm not a vampire, remember?" He says with a playful grin, giving Mistress Chanel a wink before shrugging again. "Then again, you probably want me gone soon. I've bothered you most of the night, after all." He offers then, though in truth the night is still young, and Paris never sleeps. It reminds him of modern New York.

18:34:12 [Charlie] He looked down to the paper in his hand, checking the address before opening the door quietly and sliding in. Charlie wasn't sure where in the apartment Joe was but he knew she was in here somewhere. "Joe?" He hated seeing her locked up, wanted to give her a chance to stretch her legs and get some fresh air. While something deep inside of him wanted to free her, there was something greater keeping him in check. He'd recieved explicit orders from Chanel that Joe was not to go free and what Chanel wanted, Chanel got. Charlie still wasn't sure what compelled him so, the night in Joe's apartment was nothing but a blur, he could not remember anything past walking up and seeing that the door was open. Upon finding Joe, he would smile his Charlie smile and hold a hand up. "I brought some real clothes if you want to change before our walk." He knew how much she hated the things Chanel would put her in and he wanted her to be comfortable.

18:37:38 [`Joe] Irritation. Anger. Confusion. She felt all this and more as she paced a path in the soft carpet of the apartment she wasnt allowed to leave. This was crap. Worse than crap. It was ridiculous and she'd had about enough. No matter how many times she'd trie to waltz out the front door or escape a window, someone or something was always there stopping her. It was getting annoying. So she paced. And paced. And paced some more. And still, no idea of escape had came to her mind. If maybe, just maybe she could get ahold, or find, or something that vampire that had been so gung ho for her release, she might, just might, have a chance. Slim one, but it was still there. Or Charlie. Even though she knew he would do what Chanel said and leave her there to rot. Stopping, her shoes making a thumping sound as they stopped thier motion, she turned her face to the window and peered out into the inky night. She should be out there. Killing the things that huanted the night.---

18:37:43 [`Joe] Finding the ones that had taken her family from her. Not holed up in some lavish apartment with no way of getting out. When the door opened and in waltz Charlie, she turned to face him. Her eyebrow perked into her forhead as he held up the cloths. Something she'd prefer wearing. These corset dresses were getting old. All black. All overly long. All making her look far more pale then she really was. Taking the cloths, she looked down at them before back up to him. "Walk?" Was he serious? Were they actually going to let her waltz out of here with him, knowing that she could easily overpower him and escape? Something about this walk didnt feel right.

18:41:10 DeWinter was cleaned up, and given something to eat. That really did do her good. After a while she came back, a pair of grey sweat pants and a black tank top. Her hair as dry and hanging around her face still, but at least it was clean. The poor woman’s eyes were sunken in, and her body was little more than bones and skin. How was she still alive? Simply, she was too stubborn to die. Either that, or God had a messed up sense of humor. De spotted Chanel, but wasn’t really sure what she was suppose to do now. She figured she might as well say sorry for just handing on her door, but then again De didn’t have a soft spot for ‘them’. She was a bit more bold then she should have been, but someone who was what she was… well they didn’t really worry about upsetting anyone. “ Hey.. thanks for not tossing me out..” She yelled over to Chanel, then kinda stood there not really knowing what else to do. Hell, she didn’t have anywhere to go, she might as well hang out here until they tossed her out or used her.

18:47:19 [Charlie] He nodded slowly. "I...I asked Chanel if I could. Don't like you being closed up." Charlie's hand went back to his pocket. "I can't let you loose though...I'm sorry." His eyes drifted downward, possibly embarrassment, the thought of having her on a leash was just...that little voice inside of him was screaming, yelling at him, but he could not listen. He waited for her to change before clipping the leash to her and leading her toward the door. "Also, I wanted to talk to you, had some questions." He still had very little idea what was going on and what was wrong with him, and he knew that she knew the answers. If she didn't, she wouldn't be held captive by the vampires like this. He wanted to know things she probably would not know either, what were they going to do with her? There had been times over the past few days when he'd considered leaving France, seeing if his head would clear. It seemed that he couldn't think like himself lately, that his mind was drifting to places that it did not usually approach.-

18:47:35 [Charlie] And this voice, deep down, he had never had that before. Who was it, what was it?

18:48:44 Chanel ran her hands through her hair, gently tugging at it in boredom as she glanced up at Him. She shrugged, and let the offer go. Though it irked her a little bit. Threehundred something he said he was? She wondered how much longer he would last. Or even if there were more like him out there. She glanced at him out of the corner of her eyes. "Go ahead. Find out where she comes from, who she answers to." She shrugged at the rest of the comment. "You're free to go as you want." She grabbed the nearest drink and took a sip, savering his taste of scotch. It did nothing for her of course, it was little better than nothing, but it kep ther mouth wet at least. Her eyes shifted to the human as she came stumbling down the stairs. She offered a sweet smile to the human. "Come here, tell me your name.." She patted the seat next to her, hoping the girl would do as told. She had other means of persuasion, but she didnt care to use them if she didnt have to. She really didnt like force, nor was she as bad as Joe seemed to thi

18:48:47 [Chanel] think.

18:53:40 Nexxus doesn't know about Joe, so won't go there though he'd met her once at the bookstore. So that history lesson will have to come later. But he nods to Chanel, but keeps his seat. It appears the effects of his blood are wearing off, Chanel is returning to normal now. Which is a good thing for the most part. But as far as Nexxus knows, there are only a handful of individuals like him; those of the group of twelve that had performed the ritual over the vampire hundreds of years ago. But he looks up suddenly as Winter comes back downstairs, and he offers a soft smile to the girl. She was too skinny, too pale, and too scarred to do much, but all of those things will be fixed in time. "It would seem that she's abit shy." He says after the woman yells across the room, and he stands up and moves towards her instead. "It would seem that you've walked out of the oven and into the frying pan." He says to the girl, using a jist that seemed oddly relevent to him, though the soft smile on his lips is <C>

18:56:29 Nexxus <C> a little too disarming. He holds up his hand and motions to one of the tables in the center of the room. "Please, join me for abit. I'd like to ask some questions as to how you picked Lady Chanel as what she is, and why you are so drained." But even as she talks, she'd feel herself becoming a little stronger, and not so pale and the scars would seem to thin a little, though her mind would become slightly fogged, as if she was walking into a dream. A combination of several types of low-level magic, its ment to make the person more docile, while keeping them calm and make them more healthy. The girl had appearantly gone through alot of trauma, and he wanted to explore that without breaking her. Think of it as a small kindness.

18:57:07 [`Joe] The cloths fit like a glove and felt far more comfortable then the dresses she had been stuck with. Her hands smoothed over the fabric of the shirt, down her thighs over the jeans. This was so much better then what she'd been in. Sure, the dresses were lavish and something she couldnt, even if she wanted to, afford. But she liked her jeans and t-shirts better then the dresses. When the leash was withdrawn, she looked at it and almost growled. They treated her like a dog. Sighing, she let him hook it up before messing with it to make it look like she intended for it to be there. Hell, in Paris, women on leashes werent a rare thing to see these days. Motioning him forward, she slipped her hands into the back pockets of the jeans and strode at his side like she wanted to be there. "What kind of questions?" One hand slipped from the pocket for a breif moment to dash some crimson locks from her face before it returned to its place, her legs moving in long strides to keep up.----

18:57:11 [`Joe] She wondered if she could talk Charlie into taking her by the bookstore. Let everyone know she was alive and pretty much well. It wasnt like she looked like a train wreck. And Lidia would be please to know that she was still kicking around. But first, she'd let Charlie ask his questions before she asked her own.

19:10:04 [Charlie] "I am sorry about the leash, really I am." He kept his head down for the first few blocks, remaining silent as he tried to organize his thoughts, tried to get everything in order. First things first though, he had a question that had been burning into his mind to the point of irritation. "What happened in your apartment?" He looked up at her, a mix of nervous energy and curiousity playing out over his face. "I got the address from your friend, wanted to ask you to dinner or something. I remember the door being open, and then everything from there is blank. Next thing I know I'm obsessed over a vampire! A goddamned vampire! I'm in love and I can't even remember meeting her, and then you're chained up and for some reason I don't care as much as I should and I know I should care more. I wouldn't stand for it before, but now it's only a bother, what..." He lowered his head and shook it. "I shouldn't be complaining, you're in such a spot, and here I am feeling sorry for myself. Such an idiot." He cursed lightly--

19:10:46 [Charlie] under his breath and kicked at a rock, sending it skittering down the street. Charlie felt as though he was near the breaking point, he no longer felt like himself, a stranger in his own body. "I..." His face flushed. "I'm not sure why I did it, but I told my family I was staying in France. I said I'd gotten a job...and that I'd met someone. But I told them it was you, not Chanel." He looked away and pulled his hat down a bit, not wanting to be seen, wanting to disappear.

19:16:45 DeWinter was so used to doing what people said, that she kind of just flowed through the motions without thinking about it. It took her a while to make it to the seat, every step a fight to take the next. Still, the woman seen determined. Sitting down, she didn’t look at Chanel or the people around her. They didn’t matter, nothing really did. De was exaused. To look at her you see where her body is stapled and sewn back together after this and that. She really was amazing to see her alive. Karma was such a bitch. After a moment, ignoring everything around her, her eyes started to droop. “ Call me De, but my names DeWinter.” Or at least that’s what everyone called her anyway. “ My keeper was called Joe, but he hasn’t been back for a few days.” That meant he either left her, or got what was coming to him.

19:20:46 [`Joe] They were alone. Which surprised her slightly. But she also knew that they had tails. Two behind them, keeping a safe distance away. But close enough just incase she tried something, which she'd contimplated a couple times alright. She was sure she was stronger then him. Could easily over power him or knock him out. She was trained far beyond any of thier thoughts. When he quentioned her, she shrugged her shoulders. "Hell happened in my apartement. And we took the fast track." Another shrug of her shoulders ensued before she went silent for a while. "I shouldnt have went out that night." she began, not looking anywhere but forward. "I should have stayed at the store. Done my job. But I get this itch. One so deep down that only the hunt can scratch it. The fight. The adreniline. It's empowering ya know. But I still should have stayed. I didnt know that for being so young, that he'd be stronger then me." She told it like she'd tell a child a story. ---

19:20:50 [`Joe] Spinning it like a make belive tale other then something that had really happened. "I shot him. Thought I took him out. I was wrong. He found where I lived. And then she came along, the one you serve. She was faster then him. She drank from me. THen you came in and I couldnt stop her. You fed from her. And now you serve her." Another shrug before she fell silent. Yea... he should care. But she didnt blame him. It was the thrall he was under and couldnt be held accountable. And if there was something she could do to release him from it, she would. But his only release would be Chanel's death. And she didnt see that happening anytime soon. As he explained about his family, she nodded. She figured he'd been told to do so. So instead of saying anything on it, she continued to walk, silent.

19:28:32 [Charlie] "And you're a hunter...they're the ones you warned about that night in your shop aren't they? Not some pickpocket or mugger, them." He thought for a few moments on what she had said. He'd drank her blood? Why would he do something like that? It was forced, no doubt, he would never do so willingly, no. "Is there any way to take it back?" He pulled his hat off and ran a hand through his hair. "Hope they did not hurt you too badly." He kept one hand in his pocket, the other had the leash wrapped around it. Charlie didn't feel much like a slave, but then again his master was not a demanding one, hell he'd hardly seen anything of her, hardly had her ask anything of him, and in a way that just made it worse. "How long have you been a hunter, how did you get in to it? I'm sorry if I am being too personal, but this world is all just so new to me."

19:31:05 Chanel put her hand on Nexxus's arm, her eyes making him fall silent as the girl spoke. Even as he enlivened her a little bit, she was far too drained. "Nexxus, she's about to pass out." She said quietly. Her eyes turned to DeWinter. "Okay De, can you please answer the nice man? How could you pick me out?" She leaned over and whispered into Nexxuss ear. "She's a bloodbag, nothing more." She let out a breath and turned her gaze back to DeWinter. "Joe." She repeated. She seemed to be getting quite a bit of strays as of late. She sat back. "I find myself lacking the ..." She just let her hands drop, bewildered. She glanced at Nexxus. "Do you think you could get her servicable? I dont know anything aobut their condition.." She felt her cheks flush.

19:36:19 Nexxus stops what he was doing as Chanel puts a hand on his arm, and he nods and moves to sit back down beside her even as the girl, Joe, also sits down. But he arches a dark brow high as Chanel tells him that the girl is a 'blood bag'. Eww. He would have never had used such termonology like that! But no matter, he nods his head and stands up again. "I can..." He says simply to Chanel, before stepping towards the girl. He holds up his hand, spreading his fingers toward her face. "Answer the question before I start. Your body has lacked nurishment for so long that even my power won't bring you back fully, but you'll feel alot better when I'm done." He says simply, waiting now though his magic is already at work. You can call it a 'scan', but he's looking through her form, both her body and spirit, spotting and classifying the most obvious weaknesses that need to be patched before she can really be set to heal.

19:38:43 [`Joe] This world, the one where blood thirsty killers stalked the night, was a world that she didnt want Charlie to have even glimpsed in the slightest. But he had been thrown into it head first and nothing explained to him. "Yes, I'm a hunter. Have been since I was little. Since my parents were killed by their kind." She remembered the night so vividly that it was hard not to keep the images from her mind. She'd heard thier screams. So agonsizing that it had woken her from a dead sleep. They were dead before she entered thier room. And it was there that she learned about vampires. There that she saw them for the first time. It was her uncle that had taken her in. Shown her the ropes. Trained her. "Yes, it was them that I warned you about. And they only way to break the thrall is by killing her or having her release you from it. Which I don't see happening." Shrugging once more, she dropped back into silence as they meandered along. ---

19:38:47 [`Joe] "Do you think it'd be possible to stop by the shop real quick? I'll get you some of that apple pie."

19:44:33 DeWinter rolled out her shoulders, wakening herself up by popping her neck a bit. It sounded disgusting, but the human really didn’t seem to mind that people looked at her with their lips turned up. To her, it made them look like monkeys so the joke was on them! She had heard the man talking to her, but took her own times in answering because she just couldn’t think that fast right now. “ I have a sense, they tell me.” Trying to answer his question, but looking rather confused with his hand over her face. “ I just say I been around them so long you pick up on things. People aren’t that perfect.” Her tick Cheapside accent was sluggish and choppy at the same time. However, one had to give her credit, to be missing so many part she was good. “ They used me for organs first, but the drugs fucked that up. So I got tosses around here and there. I seen a lot of faces. I know blood drinkers. “ Licking her lips, the human looked away from the man before her. She knew she was falling apart, she didn’t need him telling her.

19:53:12 Chanel turned her gaze away, quickly growing bored with the whole process. She squirmed in her chair. She wanted to do something! Not sit here and question bloodbags. Think her strange, perhaps even a little snottish if you want, but she didnt ask for this. Still, her heart was way too soft for a vampire, and it kind've sucked, if you asked me. "Question her if you will, send her away...I dont care." She flipped a hand, and then hopped off the chair. She wanted to go out. She could almost scream with the desire to leave the place. She knew Charlie was taking the vampire hunter for a walk, and she sent out her thought. "Bring her back soon." Charlie would hear tht in his mind, even as Chanel looked forlongingly at the door. She felt restless for some reason. She glanced at Nexxus. "Let her get her rest. She looks like she needs it." She chewed on her lip a little bit, restless.

19:57:53 [Charlie] "I'm sorry to hear that." And somewhere, deep down where that voice was held, he was. "Though, sorry doesn't do shit, doesn't help anyone." He sounded bitter, it did not seem right on him, did not fit the way that his smile and bad jokes seemed to be. "I can't kill her, can't let anyone kill her without trying to stop them, can't do anything." He then snapped suddenly out of it, his face going blank, eyes vacant as he recieved Chanels message. At the mentioning of going to the shop, he managed to snap out of it and a wide grin spread over his face. Pie, he liked her pie. "Yes, gladly, it would be good to let them know that you are alright. We wouldn't want them worrying, especially if they know what your job is, might think you dead, and...that would be bad, wouldn't it?" The smile remained, glittering in his eyes as they started toward the shop. "Hey Joe, if we ever get out of this, would you let me take you out to that dinner I was trying for?" He raised an eyebrow and his face flushed slightly as he lost--

19:58:14 [Charlie] the suave sort of look that he had been going for. Charlie knew it was inappropriate to ask, but it would be something to look forward to, to work toward.

19:58:32 [Nexxus] Did you read Chanel's post, Charlie?)

19:58:49 Nexxus frowns a little, noticing just how fucked up Winter really is. Its more like a Zombie than a human. But he turns to Chanel, and nods his head a little. The best thing he could do was to put the girl asleep, but instead he waves her into a seat that she could get some rest in. "Her spirit took more abuse than her body. Human's are meant to stay in constant contact with the creatures of the night. They become 'infected' in a way that our Elders never intended. That's why vampiric populations have been held in check over the past several eons. Roughly one vampire for every three hundred thousand humans." He says, more on the matter of statistics than to really change the mood or even teh subject.

19:59:40 [Charlie] Yeah, it's mentioned in my post

20:04:57 [`Joe] No, sorry didnt do shit. Sorry to make better what was. But it was an effort she didnt expect him to make with him being under Chanel's thrall. She just needed to get to the shop. Knew that Lidia, upon her arrival, would bring her the thing that she needed the most. "Yes. It would be bad. A whole plathora of hunters would be after them. We don't want that. Or atleast you don't." She could careless. But she wanted to do this one on her own. Wanted to prove she was as good as the rest. Lidia, herself, was a seasoned hunter. One that had trained for far more years then she had. "I'll make sure she sends us with extra pie to go. And maybe even some of those patries." His question came as a slight shock and had her stammering for a moment before fianlly agreeing. "Sure. If we get out of this." And she had a feeling that they just might.

20:05:03 [`Joe] wow... that sucked.

20:09:20 [Charlie] "I meant that they would worry, and that they would be upset, but I suppose the hunters would be bad too. We can't stay at the shop long, just long enough to let them know you're alright and pick up the pies. We're being called back." Charlie had no idea what else she might want aside from letting everyone know she was alive and as well as one could be in a situation such as this. He was far too trusting, or perhaps he just didn't want to know. A goofy grin spread over his face as she said the final words, partially at the manner in which she had replied. He'd gotten a hunter to be surprised, something he was sure did not come easy. Stepping into the shop a step or two behind her, he made sure that the leash was still wrapped tightly around his hand while pulling out the other one to wave to Lidia. "Hey there!"

20:18:35 [`Joe] The smells of the food being cooked wafted to her nose before they had even reached the place and it brought a smile to her lips. "Sure... that's fine." She didnt need long. Just a moment to have Lidia hand her off the things with the pie and they could be out. Once she entered, she sent a wave, two fingers extended, while the rest pressed into her palm. Lidia would know what it meant. But on the outside, it looked like a simple wave. "Hey chica. Sorry I havent been in. Got held up, if you know what I mean." The words were spoken in code, held up, meaning she was as of now, a captive but she was dealing with it. "I need a couple of those apple pies to go. Me and my freind here are going to pig out." All her words were spoken in a way that Lidia would know to place the smallest vial of holy water and a small cross with what she needed. Smiling back at Charlie, she waited for Lidia to go get the pies and wander back out. ---

20:18:39 [`Joe] "This place in like my kid. It took alot to make it what it is and I love it." A couple moments later, Lidia came out with the pies, handing them to her. On the bottum of one of the tins, what she needed was tapped to it. She quickly, covertly, pulled them free before smiling to Charlie once more. "Alright, lets get out of here."

20:36:01 [Charlie] His eyes were drawn downward toward his stomach as they entered, hearing the growling noise it was making. He'd not eaten much over the past few days and the thought of a nice warm apple pie was all it took to get him going. "That's a good attitude to have, dedication and love." He only wished he could be so lucky to have that sort of love for his career once he graduated, if he ever graduated. He would have to go back to the states for that, or transfer to somewhere here though he doubted that any of the schools would take him. Unless he managed to get someone to pull a few strings. "Out it is then, back to the apartment. We'll get in trouble if we're not back soon." And with that he led her back through town, taking the long route before moving through the door to the place, dropping the leash and closing the door. "Thank you for not trying to attack, I have to admit I was afraid that you might."

20:42:42 [`Joe] With a retreating smile to Lidia, she followed Charlie out of the building and back down the street. She didnt say much as she walked slightly behind him, stuffing her objects in her bra, incase he'd have to take the cloths back. When the reached inside the apartment, she set the pies on a random table and turned to face him, her fingers going to unclasp the chain from the collar around her neck. Handing the chain back to him, she smiled and nodded. "I thought about it. But the two goons following us would have made my life a tad difficult." Stretching, she looked towards the sofa she'd been sleeping on before looking back to Charlie. "I think I am going to go crash. It's been a very long, uneventful day. Leave a person tired. Hope you come around more often, this place gets boring." She leaned in and placed a gental kiss on his cheek before moving to the couch and sprawling across it, closing her eyes and listening for the sounds of his retreat.

20:46:05 [Charlie] "I'll do what I can." He flushed at the kiss and broke into a goofy smile before taking one of the pies, leaving the rest of it for her as he turned and left, thinking about what she'd said about the people tailing them. Did they really trust him so little? He supposed it wouldn't be hard to see why, after all, he was only human. Whistling lightly to himself, he swung the chain at his side as he walked, heading back to the hotel room that he'd begun to call home. Perhaps he would call his family tonight, check in to keep them from worrying, though he doubted they would be. When he said he'd met a girl his mother had been so happy she'd nearly burst into tears. Charlie had never been in a relationship before and his mother had begun to give up home on him ever finding someone.
