Volket is here! XD
|
"Well i guess we should get some sleep..." Volket said. "Long day tomorrow, and I don't want to have to slow down our pace." Volket said in his normal tone when talking strategy. Well...seems as if I'm being cut out here... Volket thought as he could see they just finished a tactics meeting, he quickly returned to his tent and grabbed his lance, and when everyone had gone back to sleep he went out and started practicing with his lance. This is gonna be the hardest mission I had to pull off yet. Best be in top shape for it. he thought as he gave a large armor piercing thrust. He didn't stop until just before sunrise when he started gathering his troops together for the mission. As the laguz quickly showed up he thought I wounder if Leo will be here? He better if he is going to come! he then pulled out a map that he bought from a soldier and began plotting their course. |

Leo had been watching Volket practice. He's gotten better. Good. He'll need to be. He thought and returned to his tent. He woke up very early the next morning. The sun was still down, and the air was very humid. It made i harder to breath, but that was how Leo liked to train. He went out to the field, and opened his tome. He started by reciting some simple Ancient Tongue phases, and got more complex. This took him about an hour, now he started casting the spells. He got trough Tornado and the sun was now at in the sky. not at its peak, but close. "Better get back," he said into silence. He started walking back to camp. |

Volket is here! XD

"LEO!" roared Volket, "Do you realize how long we have been waiting to move out!. In truth they had just finished getting ready to move out...with Volket breathing down their backs of course. "Ah, sir Leo. Please ignore Volket he is always like this before a major mission" said Darrel as his armor shined in the sun, he had been polishing it. "Ok every one listen up!" Volket bellowed, "We have the edge in this preemptive strike. We have done this many times before, and this army doesn't know what our strength is. Following that we have laguz on our side" Volket said. "Their help is most welcome, we could use it." He added attempting to raise moral. It failed as one of Volket's group made a anti-laguz crack at that moment, "Ha, thoses sub-humans? The only thing they are good for is fodder for begnion soliders!" The solider said, the laguz started to call for his head, but before they could all finish looking at the man Volket was already upon him. "HOW DARE YOU DISREGARD A ALLY!" Volket yelled as he pounded the foolish solider. Darrel quickly restrained him to keep him from seriously hurting the man. "Don't you ever say anything like that again to them! Not as long as you work under me!" Volket yelled, after a long period of calming down the situation they finally left, moving through the forest going to Daein. "Ranulf, as leader of my unit I ask for your forgiveness for my soldier's foolish reaction. If I can do anything to make you forgive them...I would gladly do it." He said "Look." said Ranulf, "I know that not all Beorc are bad, things happen trust takes time." Ranulf finished as he walked away. I never thought I would meet a laguz like him, he seemed to know beorc better then the beorc do. "Leo! Front and center! Volket barked, when Leo approached Volket put on a tough face, though he never thought he would give such a honor to a non-member of his group. "Your second in command for the upcoming mission! Don't let us down...." Volket said handing Leo a rare magic tome, which he mostly took from one of begnion's mages corpses. Volket pushed forward, after all if this was gonna work they had to get their as soon as the battle began...we all the enemy's focus would be on the bridge. Spoiler: click to toggle
