Volket is here! XD
|
Volket looked at the queen as she quickly moved away. They had been too slow, and Begnion had gotten word to the Deain forces...I had not thought that they would use the occupational army to attack Crimea...They must be desperate. he thought. He quickly returned to their base camp and discussed the next action with the others...After hard debating they finally agreed to help Crimea by attempting a assault on the enemy head quarters. Volket had to think of a way to be able to move across the river without either side knowing...As he ran into the queen of Crimea i wicked plan came to mind. "Ah! Milady! I must speak with you!" He yelled after her, when she turned around he quickly said his lie to trick Crimea so that the plan would be even more effective. "I'm sorry to say this is too dangerous for my comrades...We must leave...We will be going to Gallia for a hiding ground." He said this as calm as he could, and she fell for it. He could see that she was greatly saddened that Crimea's new ally was fleeing. "Thank you for your kindness!" He quickly added as he bowed for her and quickly left. He couldn't let anyone know the crazy thing they were about to pull. As he gave the orders to pack up camp Leo came running up...Wow...He looks unpleasant today... Volket thought quickly. |

The Queen was distressed, and sent word to Griel's Mercenaries on the front line in the battle. Leo was the only scout there, so he was sent to talk with them. He was frustrated and didn't like leaving his comrades in peril at the bridge. He rushed forward as he thought, "He's so predictable...he is not going to Gallia. He's going to attack the enemy headquarters....that is, if I know my old friend. And, I think I do. He saw Volket and walked forward. Not trying to hide his expression that scowled at him. "Volket. I think I know you well enough to know your not going to Gallia. Are you? Crimea needs your help. And your planning on going to the enemy base, and taking it out? With that small motley band of Beginon run-aways? Yeah, right. Don't make me laugh!" |

Volket is here! XD

Volket didn't give Leo the chance to move, he pinned him up to the wall and whispered "Ah...Why would i risk my life for some place that i have very little ties with?" Leo had figured his plan out fast but he wasn't going to let that stop him. "Leo don't tell anyone, this missions success is riding on this secrete." He said, then letting Leo go he returned to his packing. Even after everything he did he felt it wasn't enough...Then he had a brilliant idea, he called in Edith and ordered "You and two others will stay and fight with Crimea." as soon as the words left his mouth Edith was protesting "You can't be serious!" She yelled. "You will do as you are told!" Volket yelled back, this yelling match went on for hours, though no one outside the tent could understand what they were yelling about. It became so bad that the guards had to move away from the court yard, in the end Volket won. "Remember Edith...you can only select two people to stay behind, good luck." he said as he walked out of his tent and ran into a familiar blue haired man. "Whoops! sorry errr....Ike was it?" Volket apologized. |

"Yes." Ike's smooth, collected voice rumbled from his throat, "One of my men would like to join your forces. As Crimea's associate with The Living Shadows, of course." Deep, navy blue colored locks fell out of place into the muscular man's tight face. He brushed them aside and smiled. He had never lost his charming touch, but intimidating all the same. "I'll have you know. He can handle himself under most circumstances, and is a very skilled taction. No, its not Soren who will be going with you...If that was what you were thinking." Piercing blue eyes locked with Volket's eyes, "Ah. So you know Leo will be accompanying you? Good. No protests? Good. Have a nice day." As soon as General Ike had appeared he had left. Leo stood with a back slung over his torso, and a heavy, beaten down tome in his hands. "Ready when you are, Capitan." |

Volket is here! XD

Volket wasn't sure this was a good idea, Leo would come anyway... Volket thought Mite as well let him come.. "Alright Leo....Three rules...One, if i say run, run. Two, you have no feelings or mercy if the situation calls for it or i order so. Three, Don't die." Volket said with a abnormal orderly tone. "Got it?!" Volket barked out, and Leo nodded, "Alright we leave tomorrow...Be here at dawn or we will leave you behind!" Volket said as he walked turned away and started to walk into the center of the camp... |

"Alright Leo....Three rules...One, if i say run, run. Two, you have no feelings or mercy if the situation calls for it or i order so. Three, Don't die." The blond nodded at each order, making his golden-brown locks fall into his eyes. Leo swipe them away, and they fell back into his face. His tome now sifted hands, and his bag landed on the ground with an almost silent thud. "Got it?!" Leo blinked and nodded quickly, muttering, "Yes, sir." Volket then started to walk off and Leo slid to his knees. His robe smashing the snow under him, and he layed his tome to the side. Volket turned around, and Leo saw him through the corner of his eye. Leo looked up, "Yes?" "Alright we leave tomorrow...Be here at dawn or we will leave you behind!" Leo nodded once more, and then picked up his Wind tome. He uttered something, and his tent formed with a loud swoosh of the wind. He took his belongings inside, and got ready for his small nap. |

Volket didn't sleep that night, of course he hadn't slept before a mission since leaving Begnion military. He walked the battlement for hours, as he finally decided to head back to camp he heard some one yelling as he looked down he saw a large group of Laguz, he asked one of the guards "I don't know why they are here, but it seems they know that Crimea has been attacked and are here to help." the guard said. |

The Laguz who had gathered were those of the Christian religion lead by no other than the blue cat, Ranulf, himself. Leo nodded to Ranulf and instructed him to not make camp. They were heading out. The Laguz split up into two segments. One that would aid the Living Shadows, with a little persuasion from the taction, also know as, Leo. This segment was lead by Ranulf. The other, which was on its way to the bridge to help Ike and company, was lead by Mordecai and Lethe as sub-commander. |

Volket is here! XD

Volket was crazy about this idea... It was gonna be hard enough to get across the river unseen...but the more they had the harder it would be...and if they suspect Volket's plan it would be the end of all of them. "Well...Errrr..." Volket wasn't sure what to say, he knew they come anyway but he wasn't sure how to thank them anyway. They weren't human, he didn't want to insult them. |

"Aye," Ranulf said from his position next to Leo, has they had just finished conversing about strategy, "We don't need the thanking, beorc. And, if you don't want to offend us, just only call us Laguz." Ranulf smiled towards the man who would be general of this small, renegade army. The cat had read Volket easily, that could be both good, and bad. |
