Volket is here! XD
Volket's temper was running short, and Darrel could see it. What made matters worse yet is that if they took too long, the others would come. Volket turned around and said very loudly "Just thought you should know, the reason the Begnion army is out here is because they are after us. Darrel knew exactly what he was about to do, they both suddenly shot into the forest. This was their home in these woods they couldn't be caught by such simple tactics. "Darrel, be careful that kid isn't some push over..." Volket whispered. At first Darrel wondered why he was telling him such a obvious question, but why did it matter? It wouldn't have but....Volket then took a hunting bow from his pack...It was in bad shape, but Darrel already knew what was about to happen. "Sir! We can't do that!" Darrel pleaded with him. "Any Christan holidays close by?" Volket asked..."Uhhh..." Darrel had been taken back by this question. "I think a holiday called Christmas. Why?" Darrel asked. Suddenly without warning Volket took off along the trees, he had a rag in his hand and some medical gel, also some rocks...He kept running until he was out of the sight range of the mages sight...Then. "Merry Christmas!" He yelled as he jumped out of the trees and shot one of the wagons with a burning arrow, the bow broke as he shot it, and then he vanished as quickly as he appeared. Darrel wasn't gonna wait around he went off as fast as he could run. His wyvern had already gone on ahead, he knew exactly what Volket had done. He used some of the medical gel they made....It could heal most minor injures faster then any other type of medicine, but it had a flaw. It explodes if it comes in contact with fire, as he ran he heard the explosion proving he theory correct. Volket ran up to Darrel, it would of shocked most people but Darrel had gone on lots of hit and run missions with Volket it didn't shock him anymore. "Sir why did you do that?!" Darrel yelled. "I took the supples out...they should have to return back to base camp now. Besides....the Begnion army should of saw that unless they are blinder then we thought..." Volket said with a minor tone of taunting that he had when reviling his plans.

"DANG IT VOLKET!" Darrel yelled...

(OOC: Who would of thought that Volket had a badly made bow with exactly one shot on him O.o lol)

Soren had lost concentration on his Tornado spell as he saw Titania gallop off into the distance, "Where is she going?" The raven-haired Sage asked Mia. She saw Soren's look and knew not to speak, so the purple-haired SowrdsMaster shrugged, and went to pack supplies. That was the wrong thing to do. Rhys and Mia had just loaded the extra weapons, so every member in the party had at least one weapon. Titania had two, a Hand Axe and her Silver Axe. The reason being is, well, she was gone to confornt the Beginon Army that had come from the hillside. No one knew this of course.

At the time Soren had started scrambling about, and Titania came back saying, "The Beginon Central Army is here!" Everything went in chaos. There was a scream about Christmas, a Christian Holiday, and the convoy caught fire! The Beginon army's calvary was charing, and the small band of mercenaries were leaving. Heading back towards the Crimea-Beginon border. The Central Army followed into the now deserted, snow covered field and sat up camp. Soren's motley band of comrades ran for their lives. Titania carried Rhys on her mount, and Maurim carried a passed out Tormod. Soren and Mia, carried up the end running on feet.

I won't let him get away with this...I won't... Soren thought as they got to the border, greeted by Geffory's line of military officers at the border. They stayed there for the night.

Volket and Darrel had stopped just before the bored for a quick rest, but all was not resting easy. "Volket! Why did you do that!" Darrel yelled at his commander. "It was for the best...That is my only justification." he responded. It wasn't a good excuse and he knew it, "we can't sit here too long. They'll get ahead of us, and then we could be in some real trouble..." Volket said as he began changing back to his blue armor. As soon as Volket was set they quickly moved towards the Crimea border, and ran head first into that sword wielding girl. Volket cursed to himself, "That means that they beat us here!" he said, not only that but the purple haired sword master had seen them and started charging. Darrel wasted no time in throwing his axe to try to trip her up, and failed. out of pure luck Volket's defensive stance was broken by the women disarming him poorly, as she did she knocked the javelin at her foot impaling it into her left leg.

A error had never been so welcome, "What should we do sir?" asked Darrel looking at the depth of the womens wound as he took away her sword, "Man...." Volket wasn't happy about this, "We'll have to take her with us." he said and before she could protest, he ripped out his lance from her leg, and putting his hand over her mouth began trying to drag her off. They would let her go after they found the others and got some distance from the border, after they found the others, they began moving in the direction of the capital. They let her move freely after they had found a traveling priest, and payed him to heal her leg, she didn't try to run so they let her wander about the camp. Volket knew she didn't try anything because they had taken her sword, she had also become good friends with some of the people in the camp. Although he always got cold looks from her, he knew they would find out she was missing soon... Volket cursed under his breath again, "Looks like Crimea wasn't gonna be any safer then Begnion" he said to Darrel as he walked along the now grassy field, they were about a days journey from the castle. Volket figured that that mages band would of made it back by now...or at least sent a message, he also felt that it was odd that the sword master, who called herself Mia had kept following them even after they let her go. This confirmed his fear that the little mages group was heading to the castle as well...As he thought this he felt he was being watched, and then a mage with dirty blond hair appeared. Volket didn't know what to do, he quickly addressed him and hoped that it wasn't gonna be a mistake. "You there! Who are you!?" he yelled out.

(OOC: ok Leo time for your character to get some use XD)

(OoC: Finally. xP)

Soren's small brigade of mercenaries had reached Fort Oasis with one member missing. They had noticed it long before hand, but Mia could handle herself in almost every situation. The raven haired Sage walked through to Ike's office, and didn't mind knocking. Rhys followed through saying a quick "We're back". Ike looked away from a dirty blond haired youth who accompanied him in his office. Soren paid no mind to the sage standing in front of Ike's desk.

"Yes. And with the new Apostle...I hope?" Ike said, now standing, Ragnell sheathed on his back. The dirty blond sage stepped aside, smirking at Soren, mentally telling him that he had been the substitute taction of the army, aka, the one that spent the most time with General Ike. Soren had a grim expression on his face, "No we were cut off by the Beginon Central Army. Our supply convoy was burned to the ground, and we need supplies. Oh, and Mia has been captured by a small army from Beginon who is charged with treason. I believe they are headed for the Capital to speak with Queen Elincia." Rhys stood in the background, holding his Mend staff as a walking cane.

Ike sighed and sat back down in his chair, "That's just grand, Soren." HE rubbed his templates and sighed again, thinking, "You can't take and waste any more supplies. We are running on low as is." Soren sighed, clearly frustrated, "I know that sir. But, if you weren't pleasuring yourself with on of your soldiers, maybe, just maybe, you'd find a mission to do and get money for the company." Soren briskly walked out after making his commit. Ike blushed, "I was talking to my substitute taction, you picked out, Soren. But, whatever."

Leo held in a laugh, and covered it up with a small cough. He then stuffed his hands inside his jacket pockets. The dirty-blond youth looked at Ike, "You and I both know you or I wouldn't do such a thing as Soren said. He's just blowing off steam that his plans didn't work this time. Very typical of him, really." The soft voice bounced of the surfaces of the walls that made the room's shape, filling the room with it sound waves. Ike nodded, rubbing his templates once more, he sighed.

"Leo, I want you to search the area of Crimea for this motley band of Beginon soldiers on find Mia. Then, proceed to the Capital and inform Elincia of the Beginon Central Army's march towards here." Leo nodded and left the room with out another word. Rhys was left alone, to talk with Ike.

"Rhys. Talk to Soren, and get him to go to the Capital to meet the army there, if Leo is to fail. Which I doubt, but still, just in case." The General of Griel's Mercenaries said, waving him off. Rhys left with a "Yes, sir".

Meanwhile, Leo made his way out of the castle to search for the Beginon Soldiers who entered the border of Crimea. His blond hair swayed in the breeze that picked up, "Hmm..." He said, striding to the woods where the brigade Soren commanded track's came from. He strode through the lush environment, bending down to inspect the tracks lining the snow. The snow, which continued to fall, made it slightly difficult to find the small Army, and, by the looks of the tracks, it seemed they had less the 30 members in this "army". Leo was sure he could take them with his magical skill, even at the level it was at.

Leo was bent down, and the tracks went into a village. It hadn't done this in a while, so he suspected them to be staying there for the evening. The moonlight in sky gave the Mage's eyes light to see with. He briskly made his way towards the town. Upon entering, the blond mage went to the inn. He would confront the Army before they left this small village.

The next morning, Leo went to the gate leading towards the capital of Crimea. He waited at the forest's edge and perched on a tree limb. As the substitute taction suspected, the small liege of soldiers, and citizens by the look of it, was coming to the gate, ready to take off towards the capital. They formed a defensive position and marched towards the capital. Leo took this as his time to appear to them. Swiftly jumping from his branch, he landed on one knee and supported by his hands. He stood up, and blew away golden-brown locks from his eyes to just have them fall back into place. A Lancer turned towards his direction, as he dusted his hands off, "You there! Who are you!?" The man hollered his way.

Leo shrugged that off, and said aloud, "You know, that position your holding will make Queen Elincia think of it as an attack? I suggest that you disregard it."

(Just to clarify...No one's gay. xP)

Volket is here! XD
*Just wonderful* Volket thought to himself, before he could say anything else Mia had gone up to him and was speaking with him, as if they knew each other, though it didn't look like they got along... Just then Volket noticed that she had a sword, he quickly turned to Darrel and said "Who gave her a weapon! I said she wasn't to be armed!" he couldn't believe what was going on. First some mage showed up, then Mia has a weapon when they almost failed to disarm her before, now they are talking and could both attack them. "Ok..." Volket whispered to Darrel, " Not counting that mage, we know that Mia is strong enough to take most of us out." this was a grave situation. He wouldn't let the apostle's murderer live because he died. He quickly checked their supply stock... They had some medical equipment, and a few hunting bows which needed repair. Volket had a almost broken javelin and the iron axe he took from the corpse back at the last battle. Nothing important in supple... Volket slipped the order around that they needed to run, every time those two looked away a few people ran into the woods. Volket was alone and about to run away when they turned around and saw that everyone else had fled... Volket cursed his luck at being caught, and at the worst possible time...

Leo sighed, "Hm, it seems our little army is scared of the, mere number, of two soldiers. How pathetic." Leo's voice seemed to be as if he was talking to a child, but sterned up at the last part. He continued, "If this "army," he used air quotes," Thinks it can kill the murderer who assassinated the Apostle, who by passed all of Beginon's best guards, even when its scared of two Crimea mercenaries? That's. Just. Plain. Pathetic." The blond haired mage glared at Volket, trying to get the lancer's skin.

Volket was trying with everything he could to not use the mage to sharpen his nearly broken javelin...He knew that Mia was far to dangerous and that if they kept receiving casualties they wouldn't be able to stop that man when the time did come. Volket tossed his lance at the mage and when the mage looked away to dodge it, Volket took off into the woods, leaving their minimal supplies behind. He heard foot steps behind him...*The mage?* Volket thought...*No too fast for him!* and then...

"SHOOT!" Volket yelled as he suddenly felt a large amount of pain. Mia had already caught up with him and gravely injured him, he couldn't run anymore. She had injured him last time they fought, he kept it hidden from the others, they didn't need to freak out about these small things...He felt cold suddenly...as he looked down Mia had impaled him on the end of her weapon, Volket then cough a large amount of blood up and fell to the ground . Odds were the others would never catch up and save him...."Curse today...Curse Begnion...Curse....Crim-..." was all that Volket said as he blacked out...

Leo looked on, smirking towards the lance wielding soldier. His face grimaced as a javelin hurtled towards him. He ducked past with the aid of his Wind tome. The javilen hit up against the tree behind him, making it shatter. Leo huffed, "Now that made me angry." Mia had already started the pursuit, and Leo followed behind.

The purple-haired SwordMaster was at top speed. Her eyes flamed with fury as she unsheathed her sword she acquired from a tent. She charged, slanted her sword forward, penetrating the armor in the back, and entering in the man named Volket's back through to the rib cage, and pulling back out, not to kill him.

The man blanked out as Leo came to the scene, "Good, you didn't kill him." Leo said examining the person's body. Mia nodded, looking forward into the forest. "His men are that way, chase?" Leo shook his head in a no gesture. He looked at her, "We must go to the capital, and wait for them there." Mia nodded and headed towards the capital. The long distance, but shorter then the way the army was going with just two people to keep watch over, and one unconscious Lancer. They quickly made it to the capital by that evening.

Volket woke in a cell...."Wow i do like to get caught don't I?" he said to one of the guards who had no clue what he was talking about. "Well you better tell those idiots that the others won't come now that i'm a listed casualty, they probably will run off and never be seen and heard from again." Volket was completely fine with this idea. After all he considered himself dead, if he was executed it was no different then if he died on the battle field. Only difference was that no one got payed for taking his head here, Volket never ceased his taunts of the guards, every now and then one would try to rough him up only to need medical aid. "Wow and you guys are gonna go head to head with Begnion? They're gonna slaughter you." Volket's taunts began effecting the moral of the Crimea troops, desertions skyrocketed. It wasn't long before the queen was informed of this. Plainly Volket didn't care anymore, Crimea could burn for all he cared now, in fact he wouldn't care if both Crimea and Begnion burned at this point, he was in a constant rage. He took it out on the guards with his taunts and when the occasional guard came in for a whooping. He didn't really care that his fellow people didn't come, he didn't want them to come anyway, then one day a blue haired man walked in, he looked like he was use to the art of war, and he had a very large sword which he wielded with a single hand. "Ah so my "execution" is today huh? Well not that it'll matter, failed my mission so who cares!" Volket said, although he did care he wasn't gonna let them have the satisfactory of breaking him.

The blue haired man laughed at the statement. And a blond haired sage walked out from behind him, "No. Volket. I'm here to say that your troops are here, and you have the full support of the Crimean Army behind your intentions. And, yes. I'm the same mage from the woods, and yes. I'm Leo."

(( They should so totally be childhood friends! =O ))
