Volket is here! XD
Of course...It would only make sense that they would stop him. What he was doing was treason, he and the soldiers who had joined him knew this. He had been lucky that they had gone out the north gate well most of them, he had chosen to go out the south gate so the soldiers had a chance to make it, but that didn't mean that Volket was down and out. Volket gave a deep bow to Tanith as he did he carefully braced his lance over his foot. They weren't going to get him, at least not so easily. As he came up from the bow, he flipped his lance up into his hands. He caught Tanith off guard and knocked her off her Pegasus he then jumped over her and put the lance to her neck. He then smiled and pulled then lance back and gave her a hand to help her up. This action confused the every member of the holy guard. Volket was genuinely happy, and it was because Volket had a ace up his sleeve...he would help Tanith up then reveal his trunk card. This was all to easy for him. After all he set a trap within a trap.

Tanith was utterly confused now. This man attacked her, now he was helping her up. She took his hand, pulling herself to her feet, "Why help me?" She asked, fixing her ruffled brown locks and dusting off her coal-colored armor.

Volket smiled and walked a bit away, he then turned showing his devious smile and then he said... "Do you think i would expect to walk out of here so easily? grant i was hoping i could but it seems i was right to take precautions..." he then raised his hand into the air, and then he snapped his fingers and suddenly a arrow flew by Tanith head. she turned around and saw roughly five archers aiming at the holy guard.
"true i don't think we can win this fight...but are you willing to take the sacrifices that comes with this victory? Even if you kill me they will continue to fight..." said Volket, he knew that these soldiers would scatter if he died so he had taken the precautionary steps to stay out of reach. He turned to Sigrun they stared at each other for a minute mentally going over strategy and tactics to keep casualties low. Sigrun took a deep breath she had thought long and hard about what to do and she finally decided, Volket stood waiting for her answer, he didn't want to fight them, they were his comrades even if they wouldn't do what needed to be done but...he couldn't show that weakness to them if he did they would defiantly attack...at least thats what he thought he really had no clue what Sigrun would do...

Sigrun, not able to control her self any longer laughed,"And you thought, The Beginon Royal Pegasus Knights wouldn't think of you taking precautions such as these. That's why we have our own little back up." The blue haired warrior looked to the west sky. A dozen wyverns were descending, and fast. They landed abruptly around the five archers.

"Now, you all will be took to prison for first rank treason." Tainth chimed in, and the men of the Beginon royal Wvyern Knights jumped off their mounts and walked for the archers, binding them in hand cuffs. Tainth approached Volket, Silver Lance pointing forwards, not thinking he would come peacefully.

(( Oh snap! oO Sigrun has brains, who would've thought? ))

Volket threw his head back and started laughing. "Who would of thought the holy guard would sink to such low levels as to ask help form the royal wvyern knights!" Taunted Volket. he had quickly had a idea, large numbers are great, but only if they can get along. Volket knew that both this factions hated each other and by playing up on the hate they started arguing. Volket kept a close eye on his new comrades as they crept away. they slipped out the gate unnoticed. "Good good! You did well lady Sigrun!" Volket smiled, he was truly happy that Sigrun had done so well. Then...he pointed his lance at her. "Lady Sigrun i thought you should know...your quite some distance form your damn flying horse!" yelled Volket as he ran forward, Sigrun quickly saw her error and tried back tracking only to nearing get killed by Volkets charge. "Lady Sigrun if you turn your back to me again you won't make it next time..." he said with a icy cold voice. the Knights were too busy fighting among themselfs to see what was going on he time it perfectly then something unexpected happened. Tanith had gone behind Volket, he nearly lost his head. Volket cursed his luck. even though it was two on one he had the advantage as long as neither of them made it to their pegasus. His goal was to simply wait until his back was to the gate and run like crazy. He charged they broke to either side to catch him in a trap he ran all the way past them as fast as his legs would let him go. "See ya!" Volket yelled back at them, Sigrun was in a fury.

"Ugh!" Sigrun fumed and mounted on her Pegasus, Taith, go get the rest of the Royal Guard. And as for you low life, dragon-puss-bags, go back home!" After that, the blue-haired FlacoKnight and the brigade of Pegasus Knights there, headed out, flying for Volket.

Taith flew to the Grand Palace, and went from living quarter to living quarter, waking up the sleeping Royal gaurd. After they were all awake, they got ready, packing Vulneries, Herbs, and extra Weapons to their mounts. In the alcumulated time, three hours, they had just got ready to leave.

"Royal Pegasus Knights of Beginon! Fly for Sanaki! Fly for glory!" Tainth yelled and they cheered. The white Pegasi flapped their feathered wings, gracefully lifting their light bodies into the still air of their homeland. They flew off, lead by the coal-color, armored FalcoKnight, Tainth.

Volket was almost there, his heart pounding. He couldn't stop to rest, if he did he would be overrun by the holy guard. all that was left was the open field then he could disappear in the forest and work his way to the others. He was about half way when something flew over head. "Darn it the holy-" Volket stopped...the royal wyvern knights were above him. "O GOOD GODDES-" Volket didn't finish a wyvern swooped down and sent him flying. He had been lucky his sudden jerk had saved him from the riders axe. He stood up and was about to get into the trees...
"You won't get away!" yelled a voice. Then a wyvern landed on Volket, He screamed in agony. Digging at the ground trying to get out from under the heavy wyvern. Volket yelled out "Who are you!?"
The man grinned and said with a Disturbing tone..."The dead need not know that." He then had his wyvern jump into the air and try to crush Volket. By pure luck Volket managed to roll out from underneth the wyvern. He crawled closer and closer to freedom, but the wyverns cept crushing him. He thought to himself *BY now most of my ribs have to be broken. I'm lucky to still be alive..." He saw the pegasi flying out, he had failed in the last part of his mission to escape. He failed to get himself out, the others would fall apart and return or flee. His body started becoming limp from the hits. With the last of his strength he threw his Javelin into the air skewering the captain of the forces. He heard foot steps and saw the figure of Sigrun then he felt the pain of another Wyvern land on him, and he blacked out.

Sigrun had seen those filthy, blood-sucking Wyvern scum bags fly off towards Volket. They sure as heck weren't going to get the praise for seizing him. She was, if her life opened on it. She, accompanied by the few Pegasus Knights the surrounded Volket the first time, flew of after the Wyvern Knights. It took a little time to get there, so Sigrun took the time to get ready for a fight. She latched her Silver Spear to her back, and pulled out her Short Spear. She tied a Vulnerary to her left side. A hole had been cut into her blue, almost white, armor, specifically for that cause. To hold Vulnaries and herbs. On that note, Sigrun tied a pouch of Herbs in the same hoop.

Finally ready she looked up, "What the-!" She shrieked as the Lead Wyvern Lord crashed down on the defenseless Lancer. How despicable!? I'll fillet him for that! A sickening, stomach-turning sound ringed in her ear. She looked, the Lancer on the ground had throw his Javilen into the Wyvern Lord's unprotected mid-drift. Blood gushed out, and the spear-like lance eased its way throw the body, pulling the internal organs with it, and it flew out the back, landing in the meadow below. Blood splattered everywhere, and Sigrun's brows wrinkled towards her nose in disgust. We now have a new color. Meadow with a hint of Organ.... EW. Then, before she could respond to that, another Wyvern Knight, apparently enraged at his Leader's sickening death, crashed down on him again. By this time, Volket seemed unconscious, but the Wyvern's continued to pound on the defenseless youth.

"Attack the Wyvern Nights!" Sigrun commanded. They were out numbered two to one, but that wouldn't stop Beginon's Pegasus Knights. She went for the second-in-command Wyvern Knight, now in charge. Her pure white, perfectly groomed Pegasus charged, the horn sticking out in front. It charged into the Wyvern, knocking it into the ground. Sigrun gracefully pitched her Spear into the rider's heart. She pulled out her Silver Lance. He Pegasus, now that she clearly won that skirmish, stomped the head of the limb Wyvern, cracking the skull. Wish Volket could've saw that. Sigrun thought once she and her Pegasus were back in the air. Her units were faring well. One or two of them had successfully killed one Wyvern Knight. That wasn't good enough, sadly. The Wyvern Knights were still leading the fight, but Sigrun and the others didn't stop fighting with the thread of hope that Tainth would return with reinforcements.

And did they come, you ask? Of course. Tainth had taken every precaution, almost identical to Sigrun, but her circle was on her right, as she was left handed, and Sigrun was right*. They flew, as fast as they could in the direction in which the foot soldier fled to. But what Tainth saw was Sigrun ramming into a Wyvern Knight, slicing the collar bone for a slow and incredibly painful death to the victim.

"Sigrun! Reinforcements have arrived!" Tainth yelled to her comrade. Her brute strength was far greater than that of Sigrun, so she easily pill-drived threw a Wyvern Rider, her Silver Spear slicing at the neck. Blood gushed out from the deep cut and the man fell from his mount, falling down onto the meadow beside the unconscious Voltek. The entire Royal Guard was to much of a match for the, now, small brigade of Wyvern Knights. They fled off into the mist of the high raised clouds. Sigrun ordered them not, she really emphasized on this, to follow the Wyvern Riders.

"Sigrun. I know you only had that skirmish for the sake of keeping Volket alive, but-" Tainth said to her very close friend. Sigrun looked her firecly in the eyes,"I know, Tainth. They will go to the Senators, but if we bring Voltek, and plead they tried killing him. They, not us, will be put in jail." She sturnly turned away from tainth and mounted on her Pegasus. Holding the unconscious Voltek in front of her. Tainth huffed about something dealing with how stubborn Sigrun was as she mounted also. She barked an order, Tainth that is, to fly back to the castle, and they would present the Lancer to the Court.

Sigrun and Tainth flew to the Grand Court to find that the Wyvern Riders were already there,"Figures." Tainth called over to Sigrun. Sigrun merely nodded. Tainth huffed again, and they landed. Unmounting, Sigrun had difficulty holding the lancer with her fragile body. Tainth generously took the man over her shoulder and they, togethor like always, walked into the court room.

------

A couple of hours later, Tainth and Sigrun emerged from the court room, both with giant smiles plastered on their face,"That went well, no?" Sigrun said climbing a bord her armored Pegasus. Tanith nodded, chuckling as she hopped on, side-ways, to the saddle of her Pegasus, protected by gleaming coal-colored armor, just like its rider. They rode off, happy that the filthy Wyvern Riders were thrown in jail for "Taking Matters into their own hands." Though, sad about their close friend also being thrown in jail, but was healed immediately once put in a cell by the court room's best Bishop.

Volket awoke with a start. he looked around and saw one of the wyvern knights, he gave a wicked smile and stood up cracking his knuckles. The wyvern knights looked over and turned pale. Volket then precisely knocked the second one to land on him for a loop. this brawl went on for a whole day. it became so dangerous that not even the guards would go near them. After the war of fists ended, Volket sat down with the wyvern knights and they began trading some war storys.

It was like most people say a group of guys beat each other up, then if they both survive they are the best of friends. The wyvern knights hadn't wanted to help the holy guard but orders are orders. Volket agreed by saying "Your telling me!" at this point some friends of a few wyvern riders had brought a good deal of wine, and most of them were blitzed into the next week. Volket didn't drink being so...he planned his way out. Being thrown in here wasn't so bad...he gained five wyvern knights to his ranks all he had to do was get them wyverns. One in particular had gained Volkets attention during the brawl. Her name was Edith Severina she had just about knocked Volket out with a single hit, and she was the only Women among the jailed wyvern knights. Then there was Darrel Garland who was a high ranking officer, and so he waited...waiting for the opportune moment.

one week later

Today was the day of one of the senators birthday, he knew that their would be some kind of gathering. He had taken so many precautions, that even if the whole Begnion army showed up they had a good chance to win this time. He had convinced the on duity guards to join them only a half a day ago. That was the closest call. When the party began Volket made his move, he had the guards he conscripted open the door. They had even thought ahead and gotten weapons for them, Volket picked up his old iron lance and javelin, he owned his life to these weapons at least once. They were very careful not to be seen. Upon getting to the wyvern stable only three guards were their, none of them wyvern knights themselfs. Volket told the others to stay back he walked up to the guards and started speaking with them, He couldn't get them to join him so he knocked them out. "Too bad" he said " they would of been good comrades i had to use both hands!" he commented. The wyvern knights mounted their wyverns, as did the soliders that came with, Volket had told them to wait for the signal he had something planned.

at the party

Valtome's part was going well, when suddenly one of the guards went flying into his table. "Well you should of killed me when you had the chance!" yelled Volket in his normal taunting manner.
"Y-you how did you break free!" Screamed Valtome. Volket was enjoying ruining the day, well i just thought i let you know that i will find who killed the apostle, and they will die!" yelled Volket as he pointed his lance at the crowd. The soldiers laughed, after all how would he get past all of them. the countless numbers closed in on Volket. He didn't care he was looking for Tanith and Sigrun, when he saw them he gave a bow of respect and said. "You two are the only ones who have ever bested me...I plan to keep it that way, and next time I won't lose!" said Volket then he kicked the nearest soldier and put his hand into he air, as he did a wyvern flew down and picked him up and they were off. Just to be on the safe side he would land where he told the Soldiers to meet him from before so that air searches wouldn't find them.

Sigrun had made it home, exhausted, and completely in thought. Tanith had swayed off to go to her side of the palace on hour ago, and Sigrun started thinking since then. The blue-haired Royal Guard had been thinking of Sanaki's, the Apostle's, murder, and if Volket was doing the right thing after all. Maybe he is right....And if he is right, then surely he'll find the murderer...but will his small band of soldiers be enough to kill the murderer...The one who got past us all....Even Tainth...who is the best comrade one could hope for....even better than me.....Well, I'll sleep on the matter... She finished thinking as her Pegasus was sloping down towards her room. She landed, and brung her mount through the gates of her private stable. Hooking her in, and walking to her room. Her Silver Lance was now in her hands, a precaution taken every night. Though, nothing would happen to her here. She opened the door to her room, and went to bed.

The rest of the week, Sigrun and Tanith had been a total of six meetings, and four debates on who could've been the murderer. To no avail, Sigrun was rather gloomy. Tainth didn't say much, but was looking forward to the Senator's Birthday celebration. The week went by slowly, but one day was very exciting for both Sigrun and Tainth.

Sigrun walked through the doors as Tainth followed sorthly after. There was a meeting today about War matters with the Christians. "Ah, finally." Senator Valtome said, laughing at the two FalcoKNights walking into the room. Sigrun nodded, and sat down, not going to fool with him today, but Tainth, on the other hand got ticked. "What was that!" She yelled pointing her lance at his throat. "I said we can now start since the lazy FalcoKnights arrived." The other Senators and Valtome laughed togethor. Tainth leaped over the table. jumping on Valtome, and punching him with no mercy. The orange-haired, cross dressing Senator bleed on the floor for his nose was broke, and Tainth had took out a tooth. She stood up and walked away, out of the room. Sigrun was holding back a laugh with a smile, and followed out saying, "This meeting is postponed. Until tonight."

Now it was the day of the party, and Sigrun was excited for the night to come. Tanith was getting ready, putting on make-up in the mirror. Why must I put on make-up again? Oh, yeah....Sigrun told me to, as an order. After she applied foundation an eye liner on, she looked at herself. "I need something else...somethings missing...Earrings!" the black armored FalcoKnight fumbled through her jewelry box looking for matching ear rings to her aquamarine necklace. "There they are." She got them and put them in easily. She looked at herself. She was nicely dressed in her finest, turquoise prom dress, showing her true figure. Very curvy. Finally satisfied with her appearance she walked out with her small purse in hand. A dagger hung on her leg encase something were to happen. A precaution, if you didn't guess.

Sigrun on the other hand couldn't decide on what to ware. She had a pearl white prom dress out with pearl ear rings and a pearl necklace to go with it. She also had a forest green evening dress with multi colored bracelets, necklace, and ear rings. "What to ware, what to ware..." She intrigued to he still air of her room."The Pearl white sounds more me than the forest green. So, there, problem solved." She quickly put on the dress and accessories. She also found a bulky, silver bracelet that looked fabulous with her dress, so the cyan blue-haired Beginon warrior put it on. She did her make-up with grand expertise. She then walked out from her room, towards the Ball room.

On the way, Tainth and Sigrun met each other in front of the Ball Room doors, "You look nice in dresses Tainth." Sigrun complimented her best friend. Tanith smiled, "Thanks, you to." After their small greeting, they walked in togethor, heads held high.

The party went soomthly. There was dancing and laughing and the band played fast tempo music. Sigrun and Tainth sat at a table with friends and drank the night away, so to speak. Note, Tainth didn't drink. She had a bad feeling about the whole thing. Sigrun, drank wine coolers with her friends, laughing giggling, and acting like total girls. Tainth wasn't like that. She was more of a tom-boy.

A voice that Tainth had heard a lot this month. The smooth, taunting voice was Volket's. Tainth jumped to her feet. Sigrun was to drunk to do anything but glare at Volket as he talked to them. A loud, screeching voice erupted through the hall once Volket's hand shot up after the lost words had died away. Screams came from the women, and the men stood frozen. A Wyvern was descending to pick Volket up. Tainth pulled out her dagger, throwing it into the foot of the dagger, barely missing Volket. She swaered under her mouth, and the wyvern, with Volket, ascended, and flew off in the distance.

The party was over. One man was soaked in oozing Wyvern blood, and left eruptly, and the other people dispatched to their rooms. Tainth took Sigrun to her room, and put her to bed. Tainth then, went to her room, and drifted into a slumber of thinking. Mostly about what had happened, and some of Volket's smart thinking.

(( Done. ;3 ))
