The Crimson Era By WillVaughn In the beginning of the Crimson Era, it started out just as a bloody war but now, it is much more. It is an ongoing struggle between the two main families of the war; the Ishinshishi and the Ishido Family. The Ishinshishi are the government and people who go with them and the Ishido are rebels fighting against the Ishinshishi for their despicable ways. The main controversy between the two families is the two leaders of each family; Orion Ishido and Seiji Ishinshishi. Seiji is a cold-blooded killer warrior and son of the leader of the original Ishinshishi. Orion is a cold-blooded warrior, but is the son of Neptune Ishido and has family still alive and well. He has a sister and son. His sister's name is Kaskara Ishido who is Orion's fraternal twin sister. Orion's son is named Tenshin Ishido and was trained by the same way Orion was. Tenshin has a similar style as his father. Orion, Kaskara, and Tenshin enter the Crimson Era head on and with no one to protect the villagers, townspeople, or city people-at least the ones that don't follow Seiji- they decided to take on that responsibility as well. On the 28th year of the Crimson Era, Orion, Kaskara, and Tenshin enter a barren battlefield with dead bodies killed covering any piece of the ground that was ever visible. Each dead body has rotted, decaying, or turning into pure lifeless skeletons. Each body also had a sword, spear, or dagger stabbed into some part of their bodies. Orion began to walk through the dead bodies looking disgusted at all that had happened since he was younger. Since Orion has been immortal since the age of fifteen that was a long time ago. Orion moves forward throughout the stench of rotting or decaying bones to excavate the land for any traps. He sees none so he calls to his sister and son, "Come on! There are no traps!" Kaskara and Tenshin proceed forward with their hands on their weapons. Suddenly, Orion steps on a dead animal carcass and breaks the upper bone of the leg. Orion quickly reacts to the noise as a flashing red light shoots out at Orion. He takes out his over-sized Uchigatana and deflects the light. He does a back flip towards Kaskara and Tenshin. Orion lands directly next to them while a dead body rises from the dirt taking a large Broadsword out from its head and bares it at Tenshin. Tenshin looks around for a weapon to throw at the Undead Soldier to distract him with. Tenshin backs up a few feet and grabs a rapier out from a dead soldier. Tenshin then throws the rapier at the Undead Soldier in front of him. The Undead Soldier slashes the rapier away and Tenshin takes out one of his over-sized Katana and slashes the soldier into the ground. He senses another undead soldier behind his father and inadvertently yells, "Father! Behind you!" Orion reacts a second too late and the Undead Soldier slashes him in his left shoulder splashing blood all over the two dead corpses creating a layer of color reviving that part of the lifeless ground. Tenshin proceeds to attack to help his father out but Orion stops Tenshin and slashes the Undead soldier in half down the middle. It seems as Orion took no damage, however, he did lose some blood. As Orion sheathed his Uchigatana, he flexed his left shoulder. Suddenly, the wound that the undead soldier had given him began to reproduce its cells and heal the shoulder. Kaskara ran over to him and asked, "How did you-" "Don't ask me such a stupid question like that." Orion interrupts Kaskara and proceeds onward towards the Ishinshishi castle. Upon reaching the castle, Orion stopped everyone a few 5 feet before getting into the castle's range to see what the castle looked like and the landscape. The landscape was bright and clean; much better looking than the ground they were on and there were numerous guards around the area. Orion gave Kaskara and Tenshin a hand gesture, telling them to move on. They arrive at the castle, and as expected, millions of guards surround them immediately with machine guns, Gatling guns, and Shin gunto neo- army swords all pointed at Orion, Kaskara, and Tenshin. "A welcoming committee?!" Tenshin asked surprised. "You are traitors of the government and we will extinguished! Prepare to die!" The Leader of the officers ordered as the smell of blood began to waft through the air. "Kaskara, Tenshin, get ready...on the count of three." Orion ordered as they all assumed a back-step pose with their knees bent and their hands on their sheaths. "1-2-" "Fire! Kill them!" The Leader of the officers screamed as millions of guns and swords clang through the air. Smoke had appeared blanketing the area and they were blindsided for a few moments. When the smoke had cleared, Orion and the others had dissapeared. They reappeared above everyone and Orion yelled, "3! Go!" Orion, Kaskara, and Tenshin scattered as they slashed all the soldiers across their abdomens and into their heads. When the sword plunged into the soldier’s heads, Orion, Kaskara, and Tenshin pulled their weapons upward slashing the soldier’s heads in half. Blood was flying at Orion and the others but only Orion's sword absorbed the blood. The sword was again stained with crimson blood , furthering his career as the Crimson Samurai. The Leader of the officers had ran up to Seiji's personal room but Kaskara had appeared and grabbed the Leader by his neck. When everyone got up to the room, Seiji was nowhere to be found. Then, when Orion yelled, "Seiji Ishinshishi! You have been a traitor to the government and people who follow you all along haven't you?!", Seiji appeared. He replied, "What's it to you?" "Seiji! You never deserved to be Leader of this Government! My father or my aunt is the rightful heir to the throne!" Tenshin yelled in anger. "Easy, son. This slime will get his soon enough. Punk- get out of my face- while I do my thing..." Orion thought pointing his gaze towards Tenshin. "If you have no REAL business with me, then leave." "Don't play that card! You know why we're here!" Kaskara exclaimed as she took out two daggers dropping the Leaders of the officers and formed the two daggers into a Kaskara Broadsword. This Broadsword had a silver coating and on top of the hilt there was a red gem with four small-pronged blunt diamonds coming out of the sides. "Now, to wipe you out of your dominion!" Tenshin screamed as he took out two large Crimson plated steel Katana's. Orion stepped in front of Kaskara and Tenshin and asked to Seiji, "Is that business enough for you?" "Fine. Bring it, you cocky little brats. I don't even have to use my Shadow Daikatana on you three." He replied as the Leader of the officers tried to run away. As the Leader turned to leave, Seiji appeared behind the Leader. Suddenly, as Seiji turned back to opponents, the Leader fell to the ground with his head cleaved off, splashing his awkwardly colored-blue blood hitting Seiji's jacket. "You'd kill one of your own officers?" Kaskara asked. "Of course." "But why?" Tenshin asked. "He betrayed me. He deserved to die." Orion's eyes gleamed as he charged at Seiji. Seiji back flipped and kicked him in the back. Seiji began to follow up with another kick at the same angle, but Orion quickly turned around and kicked at the same time Seiji did. This blocked Seiji and let Kaskara or Tenshin jump in for an attack. Tenshin came at Seiji as Orion ducked and slid under them both. Tenshin jumped over his father and began his barrage of slashes at Seiji. As each strike flew, Seiji held up his arm blocking each strike. After the 25th strike, Tenshin was getting tired so when he was repelled, he wasn’t able to defend. Seiji kicked Tenshin into the chair he was standing by earlier. This was just the beginning of Seiji’s onslaught. Seiji then began to charge towards Orion but disappeared and reappeared behind Kaskara. She saw this coming and retaliated. The second Seiji disappeared, Kaskara got ready and when Seiji reappeared Kaskara did a number of hits onto him. She dodged his hit and slashed the scoundrel back a step. She swiped him to the ground, then triple slashed Seiji into the air. Kaskara appeared to him again and kicked him to the ground. She followed up with a slash towards his heart, but as she hit the ground he was already at least 2 feet from her. “You’re going to have to do better than that!” Seiji said as he dissapeared. “He’s so fast!” Orion thought as Seiji reappeared spinning as Tenshin got out of the rumble and ran at them. Seiji kicked both Orion and Kaskara into the walls. He landed on the ground. He kicked Tenshin into the air. He reappeared above Tenshin and punched him in the stomach and onto the rumble knocking him out as well as Kaskara. Orion rose from the ground and unsheathed his sword seemingly unharmed. “Come now, Seiji. You don’t want me to get bored now do you?” Orion asked pointing the sharpened point of his Uchigatana at the monster of high fighting caliber in front of him. “Of course not. I want you to have some fun before you die! Looks like I will have some use for my sword today!” Seiji replied as he took out a black and white- and slightly longer- Katana that he pointed at Orion. Orion looked past Seiji’s shoulder and saw that Kaskara and Tenshin were not dead in fact, they were just unconscious. “I wouldn’t be worried about them! Focus on yourself!” “Shutup!” Orion demanded as they both dissapeared. They both reappeared for split seconds and in those seconds they each clashed and parried each other’s swords. Seiji often gave Orion large brushes or cuts large enough to kill an adult elephant just by clashing, but it did nothing to Orion because of his immortality. As Orion was a Crimson Samurai, he seemed innocent compared to the beast that was before him. He could keep up, yes, but Seiji seemed to not tire even with the slightest parry or movement of his sword. Orion had to finish this soon or he would be finished. At the next slash, Seiji reacted faster than Orion and slashed him across the chest. He flew to the ground but rebounded still smashing into the wall behind him. When he found his center, the wound that Seiji had created would not disappear. “What’s up with this wound?” Orion asked surprised. “Surprised? My sword does not just cut but it also can break your spirit as well. Your spirit will be ripped apart after three slashes from my sword. So, kill me or let yourself die.” Seiji explained. “This is perfect. Now, you will feel my true power!” “What are you talking about, fool?” “This is what I’m talking about! I will end your reign today!” Suddenly, darkness began to surround Orion’s body. As it dissapeared, his face seemed evil and he had a cynical look in his eyes. His hair was jet black as were his clothes and his shoes. His hair was also long, stretching down to his waist. His eyes were no longer red; they were white but outlined in a dark black. He also had black wings spring out of his back. Orion was no more. This was ultimate killer. A dark being beyond compare. This is Dark Orion. “W-what are you? A monster?” Seiji asked trembling at Dark Orion’s power. “Not anymore of a monster than you are. You kill innocent lives for mere pleasure but, I Seiji, kill people who get in my way.” Dark Orion answered. He put away his Blade and walked towards him where Seiji began to back up. “What’s wrong, Seiji? Scared of a little darkness?” “O-of course not! Let’s do this!” Seiji held up his sword still trembling but now, not as much. Dark Orion teleported right behind Seiji, kicked him sideways, and teleported again. Seiji began spinning as Dark Orion appeared under him and punched down onto the ground with a dark fist. He grabbed Seiji, punched him towards a wall, and then teleported behind him. Dark Orion then slammed Seiji’s face into the ground and then threw him out of the castle through a wall where he followed. Dark Orion then pummeled Seiji until Seiji’s blood was covering at least half of his arms. Dark Orion then spun kicking Seiji into the millions of dead bodies below. Seiji was falling and stopped so suddenly, he didn’t have time to react to anything. He fell into a spear that was pointing upward that cleaved Seiji’s heart in two. Throughout, all that, blood had spattered all over the dead bodies and ground close to Seiji’s castle. Now, Seiji joined the rotting, decaying, and skeletons below as he fell off the spear onto the ground. Orion had changed back to normal and had perched himself on top of Seiji’s castle. Orion then jumped back into the castle where Kaskara and Tenshin were waiting. Soon after healing their injuries, they all traveled home to northern Japan to announce the end of the Crimson Era. During that trip back, Orion’s cut from Seiji’s Daikatana had vanished. With the end of this bloody Era, so ended the reign of “The Crimson Samurai”, Orion Ishido. |
