Sharingan may be powerful but it has it's limitations for examle Sharingan has three stages. Fully activated, Mangekyo, and Eternal Mangekyo while Kyūbi has nine stages but as more tails form the more you lose your humanity and eventually the seal will break and the Kyūbi will be released and I don't think Sharingan can take on the Kyūbi because it doesn't use jutsus and Amaterasu can't harm it because it's chakra is also incredibly dangerous because of the heat.
