Kingdom Ace Chronicles Episode 3- The Mission Chapter 3 As the battle ended, Chris had helped Orion back to the Battleship. X and Neptune jumped out and took Orion back into the ship while Chris jumped in as well. Tsunami saw that Orion, Netami, and Chris were badly injured, so she went over and healed them all. When they were fully healed, the Battleship began to move on its own. It was beginning to be sucked into a black hole. X tried reverting all powers into the thrusters but there was no power left. So, the Battleship was sucked into the Black Hole. Where it landed them, was no pretty picture indeed. They had crash-landed so they all came out their busted up ship, aching with pain. “Ugh…Where are we?” Orion asked as he saw the Battleship was destroyed. “I don’t know but it doesn’t look like anywhere I’d want to go,” Neptune answered Orion’s question. “Where do you think we are, X?” “This place looks like death…” X said as they all began to walk towards a castle of immense height. This place was not very hospitable. It was a place of complete, total, and consistent turmoil. The sky seemed to be always dark and it rained almost frequently. The trees were either already dead or were wastes of nothingness. The rivers around them were of made of blood and smelled of dead bones. On the ground, the grass was black and had a black mist on it. The castle that they had noticed in the distance was nothing to smile over either. It was the home of their greatest enemy. “Yeah, I know what you mean, X,” Netami agreed for once. “This place is sort of giving me the creeps.” “Well, this place is really freaking me out that’s for sure! ORION,” Tsunami cried out as she held tight to him. “I think this place has dark aura surrounding it because for it to creep out Netami…that’s just not right,” Randy suggested. “Whoever is controlling it, must be in that castle.” Breeze agreed. “Alright, it couldn’t hurt to go there,” Orion agreed as Tsunami relinquished her grasp on him. They all ran intrigued at the thought at what new creature or person would greet them. Upon getting to the castle, Orion punched open the door’s as a truckload of creatures greeted them. They all took their Paladin Blades out and advanced them to their second stages. “Good, a welcoming committee,” Tsunami said sarcastically. “I knew there’d be one here if the castle was this large.” X said. “Let’s finish this quickly and get to the top floor,” Netami said pointing to a flight of stairs that must have stretched so far, it would take normal people, years to climb them. They all jumped at the creatures and killed them with one slash. They headed up the stairs and up to a door. Orion kicked open the door and they walked in to find themselves covered in shade of darkness. Throughout the darkness, they could see a figure sitting on a high chair. They knew it could only be one man. “Master Key,” Tsunami yelled. “We’ve come to avenge our teacher, Mystery!” “Oh, are you the Paladin Heroes then?” Master Key asked them speaking with a deep wise voice. “Shut it!” Randy ordered angrily. “Why does it have any relevance now?” “So, I am surmising he did not tell you?” “Tell us what?!” Zero asked back surprised. “Why would he lie to us about anything?” “That he was lying to you but I guess you won’t believe me by my words. I am your father,” Master Key answered. “Whether you choose to expect it or not, is not my problem.” “You’re the liar,” Breeze stated. “Why would he train us and then deliberately lie to us?” “Because, did you see him take out a Paladin Blade?” “Well…no, but he said his powers were gone when he entered the Empty Dimension!” Chris answered. “Really,” Master Key asked intrigued. “So, Mystery fooled you all that badly?” “Shutup! Why would you know anything?” Orion asked. “Like I said before, I am your father.” “Lies! If you prove to us that you have a Paladin Blade and beat us with it then we’ll believe you!” Neptune shouted angrily. “Are you sure you want to fight a superior?” “Bring it, old man,” X ordered. “We can take anything you can dish out.” “Fine,” Master Key said as he unsheathed his Paladin Blade. “Light Paladin Blade! 2nd Stage! Shining Aura!” When this Paladin Blade was unsheathed and advanced to its second stage, everyone realized it had be forged by the sun rays because the second stage was so bright that it lit up the whole room. Then they all saw what Master Key really was. He was a tall, white haired man with his mouth and chin covered in a white scarf. He wore a red jacket but it was unzipped showing his part of his chest and stomach. They saw that he was very muscular and his stomach was wrapped in bandages. There was also a scar across his chest. He wore brown, baggy pants with white sneakers. His eyes were white as snow and directed on Orion. “Prove anything to you?” “Do you see us down?” Orion asked. “Looks like I’ve answered my own question,” Master Key said as he appeared behind Orion. “Very well. Let’s begin.” He’s so fast! Orion thought startled as Master Key slashed at Orion. Orion blocked the slash with his own second stage Paladin Blade and parried the slash away. “Katon: Shock!” Orion shot a shock of fire at Master Key but he easily rebounded in the air. While Master Key was descending to the ground, Netami appeared under Master Key. Netami went to slash at Master Key’s back but he easily parried it with Shining Aura. Ragnarok and Shining Aura parried each other many times until Master Key was able to finally parry Netami’s sword away. He kicked Netami into the ground creating a large crater. He slashed at his foe again but Netami had something else in mind. He covered his left index finger in Yami energy blocking the Shining Aura’s attack. “Yami: One Finger Defense!” Netami yelled as the Shining Aura glowed a strange orange color. “Shining Aura: Destruction of Dark Defense,” Master Key shouted as he broke through Netami’s defense and slashed Netami away. “Now?” “Not until we’re all down,” Orion answered as Netami’s second stage reverted back to its first stage. “You heard Neptune! Everyone, attack!” Everyone who was not down, attacked from all sides as Master Key began to spin. “Shining Aura: Aura Wave,” Master Key sent out a large wave of orange aura at the Paladin Heroes. Neptune, Zero, Breeze, and Randy violently were hit with the wave while Orion, X, Chris, and Tsunami jumped over the wave slashing at Master Key all at once. Master Key back flipped to dodge the attacks. “Eruption: Ultra Explosion!” Orion yelled. Once his sword hit the ground, it sent a torrent of flame at Master Key. “Shining Aura: Sun Defense!” Master Key yelled as the blast almost hit him but he was able to block the attack with ease as a large orange shield encompassed his body. “This guy is so powerful!” Chris shouted in distress. “How will we overcome his power?” Tsunami asked frighteningly. “I don’t know…” Orion started to say. “That was my best attack.” “We have to try!” X tried to give some Orion some incentive to fight. “TRY,” Orion shouted angrily. “What the hell do you think we’re doing? Five other people are probably dead because of him! We could be next!” “Orion,” X stated. “You are most likely gifted of all the Paladin Heroes. So, don’t give up so easily.” “He’s right you know, Orion,” Master Key agreed. “Would you like to know why?” “Yes,” Orion replied. “Why Master Key?” “Watch me,” Master Key said as his sword glowed a bright yellow. It was so bright it blinded everyone beside himself. “You could achieve something like this. Shining Aura: Evolution!” “What is this power?!” |
