Here is Sotanaku's personal story! Enjoy! Prologue/Bios William Harris, Age: 16, and Rank: Chunin Background: Will Harris is the son of the leader of the Village Hidden in the Gems, Richard Harris, so it was no surprise that Will became the youngest to become a Chunin in the village. Because of this great great accomplishment his ego grew to the size of the Earth Country. However, he earned his postion as a Chunin with flying colors. He even leads his own Genin Squad. Christopher Ridely, Age: 16, and Rank: Genin Background: Chris Ridely never thought that he would be where he is now. He was an ordinary boy when Ronari, a Jonin on his family discovered Chris' ability in a game of football. Ronari taught him the secrets of the Ridely Family and Ninja basics necessary to survive. Chris entered the Ninja Academy day before the Final Exam. With one day of formal instruction, Chris Ridely graduated the Ninja Academy and joined the original Team 4 with his leader and soon to be friend, Will Harris. The villagers often compare Chris and Will because their skill level was virtually equal and they were completely opposite to each other. Steven Harris, Age: 14, and Rank: Genin Background: Steve Harris is primarilly known as Will's little brother. Steve dested that fact greatly, and worked hard to earn a name for himself. He even shunned the family Taijutsu in order to create a speciality of his own. He graduated the academy with great intellect, and particulary unique nack for Genjutsu. Upon becoming a Genin, he was assigned to Team 14, with his older brother as the leader. With Will's celebrity-like status and steve's history of being the sidekick, Steve eargerly awaits the chance to leave the shadow of the Harris name. Mai Kisara, Age: 15, and Rank: Genin Background: Mai Kisara graduated in the same class as Will Harris, and even joined the same squad as him. Mai comes from a Clan of caligraphers that made special scrolls for combat. The birth of the Gem Village began with the Harris Family, and Kisara Clan, so Mai and Will on the same squad was a great deal. They were Team 6 until one year ago when Will was promoted to Chunin. Ever since, she was very cold toward will. They both knew that Mai was the better Ninja at the time, although Will would never admit it. |

Chapter 1 everybody: Three years after Sasuke Uchiha left, Konoha noticed a relatively new Village in the Earth Country, the Village Hidden in the Gems. Until recently, the Gem Village was hardly anything worth mentioning since it was only a couple of years ago old and small rumors of the skill and ability of the Gem Ninja's however could not be ignored Tsunade and Richard Harris, leader of the Gem Village, made an offer to join their alliance. The catch was that the Gem Village had to participate in the upcoming Chunin Exam and if that Team proved themselves, the alliance would be formed. Richard called his son to his office. Will Harris, a Chunin came in response. "You called?" Will asked. Richard looked as serious as always. "As you can see, Lady Tsunade and I were discussing possibly forming ties with Konoha," Richard explained. "Yeah, what'd she say?" Will asked. "We're in," Richard answered. "But there is a condition." "Huh?" Will was in disbelief. "What would they want from us!?" "A demonstration" Richard started. He showed Will the invitations. "Lady Hokage wants us to participate in their upcoming Chunin exam. She wants to see for herself what the Gem Village can do." "And you want Team 14 on the job." Will guessed. "Well in any other case yes but in this case I'll let you make a three man team." Explained Richard. "Sweeeet! I'm in control?! I'll choose right n......" Richard interrupted Will. "But there is a catch to my offer also. The future of the Gem Village now rest in your hands. You could call this an A-Rank mission. Not only are you to train these Ninja to work as a team but also to make sure they are ready for the Chunin Exams. If they succeed it will be because you taught them. Well, if they fail, you fail." Richard explained. "Now, do you accept it?" Will answered,"YEAH!!!" "Choosed carefully." Richard concluded. "Dismissed!" SCENE TWO: Will Harris had his first opening set. The first person he went to was his trainee, Chris Ridley. Chris was in the Gem caves working on his chakra control Jutsu. "Chris." Will called. Chris stopped. "Hey, Will." Chris answered. "What is it?" "What is it? What is it? What is it?!" Will repeated. "I got a new mission. So that's what is it!" "So, what's your new mission this ti...Wait. What?" Chris was caught off guard. Will elaborated. "My father gave me an A-Rank mission and I gotta get two more with me." "Hold up sec. I'm in and you chose me first?" Chris asked. "You're here aint' cha? Now c'mon, I know someone else who'd be good for the mission." Will and Chris went back into town to find one of Will's old teammates. They found her just leaving her house. "Wait," Whispered Will as he grabbed Chris and hid. "Da heck a ya..." Chris started to say but was shushed by Will. "I always do this. When I say go we're gonna jump that girl." "Uh, why're you doing this?" Chris asked. "Cause it'll be funny." Will stated. "Now, three, two, one, GO!" Will jumped from the shadows toward the girl. When Will almost had her, she dissapeared. Will fell flat on his face. The girl reappeared behind him in the air. She pulled out a blue scroll and made the hand seals rabbit, dog, dragon, and tiger. "Ninja Art, Water Scroll Jutsu!" A stream of water came from the scroll and splashed onto Will. Chris who stayed in that spot tried not to laugh but he couldn't help himself. He came from an alley and went to Will. "And where were you?!" Will asked. "I thought you had my back!" "I do but I know a good idea from a bad idea." Chris explained. "Anyway, what do you want Will?" She asked. "I'm choosing a team to go on a mission and I already got Chris to go with me." Will told her. "So, what does this have to do with me?" She asked. "Wai-wai-wait a sec," Chris started. "Who is this girl and what is this mission anyway?" "Chris meet..." Will started. "Mai Kisara, mistress of the water scrolls." Mai finished. "Well 'Mistress of the Water Scrolls' you comin or not?" Will was a bit annoyed. "What is the mission anyway?" Mai inquired. "I'll tell you when I think of a third man." Will stated. "I'm joining anything unless I know the mission!" Mai replied. "It's an A-Rank mission with the possibility of becoming a S-Rank Mission." Will persuaded. Mai then sighed and said, "Fine, I'll join in." "Sweet, I'll have a third man by sunset. Meet me in the caves at 8." Will instructed. "Right." Chris confirmed. "Okay." Mai said. Will went to the Harris Estate to look up ninja in a database exclusive to the Harris family. When he got to the door, it opened up to reveal his younger brother, Steve Harris, who was a trainee of Will's. "Will, we need to talk." Steve stated. "No, we don't." Will was quick to say, as he walked through Steve. "I heard dad assigned you to a mission, and you could choose the people to go with you." Steve informed Will. "I'll be straight up wit chu, you're not on my team and I don't want you in it." Will said sternly. "And why not?! I'm every bit apart of Team 14 and I helped us succeed in both of our B-Rank missions!" Steve argued. "And I'm the best Genjutsu user in the family." "Steve, you're the ONLY Genjutsu user in the family, ever, n thats cause you sucked at Taijutsu." Will stated. "I became a Genjutsu user to stand out from the so called 'Gem of the Village'." "You do realize that your Genjutsu won't wrok this time, right?" Will asked. "I bet they will, in fact I'll prove my Genjutsu is is the best and if I fail I'll quit being a ninja." Steve offered. "All you have to do is let me in." "You won't do it." Will scoffed. "Yes, I will, and I will succeed this mission." Steve persuaded. "If you want in so bad then you're in but I'm gonna make sure you keep your end of the bargain." Will agreed. "It's a deal." Steve concluded. Will and Steve shook on the bet. |

Chapter 2:Team 14 Unite. Chris Ridley arrived at the cave as Will ordered, when Chris noticed writing on a crystal at the entrance. He knelt and read WH II MK I "What the heck is this?" Chris asked himself. "History," a girl answered. Chris turned around to see Mai behind him. "Whadaya mean history?" Chris asked. "Foolish childhood dreams, thats all." Mai answered. "Wait, what's ya last name?" Chris asked. "What is this, 20 questions? Don't you see I don't want to talk about it?" Mai snapped back. Chris responded "Well, since were gonna be a team shouldn't we get a background of everyone?" "Sup y'all." Will greeted with Steve behind him. "Mai, this is my lil brother..." "Steven Harris, the rising Genjutsu prodigy I've heard of you." Mai commented. "You have????" Steve asked excitedly. "Of course." Mai replied "I love to hear that another Harris ninja coming out of hiding and of the first family no less." Will interjected "If ya done Mai, I'm gonna tell y'all why were here." "Oh, yeah please go on." Mai sarcastically said. "President Harris made an agreement with Lady Hokage, we got a chance to make an alliance with the Konohagure if we participate in their Chunin exam." "So, we're representin' the entire village and how we do'll dictate if we join an alliance with one of the Big 5!?!?!??!" Chris asked excitedly. "Basically," Will started "It's not an A-rank Mission for nothin and I chose you three for a reason." That's another thing," Mai commented "Considering, you're all on brute strength I must admit, I'm amazed that you actually chose genin that can think in battle and not just rock heads like you." "Yeah, well..." Will started then it hit him. "Hold on!" "When are we leaving for Konoha." Steve asked Will. "Tomorrow morning" Will replied "Any other questions?" No one said anything. "Dismissed." |
