Characters and Decks: 1. Nagato Beserk- Played by Akumaorion; Deck: Warriors Unleashed 2. Wraith Remeopleh- Played by Dremora-Valkynaz; Deck: Infruiating Nuisance 3. Daris Apep- Played by Envy; Deck: Internal Struggle The 10th dimension of 2010...A new academy had just been made for inspiring young duelist. This new academy was named after the amount of new duelists in the 10th dimension. It was named, "Genesis Academy" and over 10,000 duelist had applied just for this opportunity but only 2,000 of those duelist would join the academy. There were also three dorms dedicated to this new academy. There was the "Crimson Dorm". These duelists wore Crimson-colored outfits and they lived in a bright red dorm. This dorm seemed full of many duelists who didn't know their place or did not have their place at Genesis Academy. The second academy dorm was named "The Paladins" and they were the people at the academy who seemed to be good or well mannered in many ways. These duelist wore white-colored outfits and they had smiles yet they were serious when it was necessary. Finally, the last dorm in the school was called "Oni Black Rose" who were the ones in the academy who kept to themselves most of the time and had much distain for "The Paladins". The Oni Black Rose and The Paladins often got into many brawls and even though they seemed to hate one another, some had even more distain for the Crimson Dorm. The Crimson were often very chummy with one another but they did not really respect anyone else in the academy. Even the teachers there saw this. So, that's why the Oni Black Rose had a subgroup for this called the "Black Rose Crusaders" who were a secret group of evil duelists who dueled the Crimson and The Paladins to get them in trouble or get them suspended from dueling. On the second day of December, the tryouts for Genesis Academy had opened up and all the 9,999 entrants came flooding into get into the academy which meant there was one student missing and of course it had to be the one with the most potential. He had been running to the academy for at least 20 minutes and it seemed as if it was taking him forever to get there. Stupidly not paying attention to his surroundings and just to chance at getting into the academy, he bumped into his old sensei, "Yusei Fudo". This boys name was "Nagato Beserk". He was wearing a blue vest with blue jeans. He also wore black boots. On his arms were black gloves that were spiked around the knuckles. His skin was relatively plain but he had black eyes and black spiky hair. There were also blue streaks in his hair. His nationality was stricly Japanese so he wwas called "Nagato". His name was Beserk. If anyone called him Nagato, it was a sign of disrespect to him. "Yusei-Sensei, what are you doing here?" Beserk asked. "Beserk, I wanted to give you this," Yusei handed him a card with a blue dragon engulfed in flames. "Why are you giving me this card, Yusei-sensei?" "Because your my apprentice and plus, you might need this card." "Really?" Beserk asked. "Are you sure?" "Yeah, I don't need it anymore. Use it at your disposal, Beserk." Beserk gazed at the card as he shoved it into his deck. He then turned around to thank Yusei but he was gone. He then looked at his watch and he saw that he was running late. "Crap," Beserk exclaimed. "I've got to get to the academy! I'm going to be late!" Beserk ran as fast as he could to the academy. As Berserk enters the academy he is approached by a student dressed in black and cloak covering over the top of his face. "Heh, so the new meat arrives. And late? That's not good. You might as well turn around the way you came. You won't fit in here new meat." The student moves directly in front of Berserk. As Wraith is looking around the academy he spots Beserk and the person dressed in black and approches them. Wraith is wearing black and purplish clothes "My my more compteition which will serve as very good chew toys. Its to bad I cant defeat you in a duel now. I warn you I strike like an unseen dodgeball in an echoing gym, as a reminder, my name is Wraith do not forget the name when I dominate." The student in black turns to Wraith, "I am called Darius, Darius Apep. And you shouldn't underestimate my power. I am the last in a long line of noble blooded individuals. By divine right I am the rightful King of Games." "I never thought to find someone that is similar to me, we are both powerful and want more power." Wraith thinks and then says "Perhaps i was wrong to directly say that, who knows, we may become friends but still be rivals at the same time." He looks at Beserk. "and what about you the one who came here late, are you ready to feast upon a deadly eight course meal?" Beserk sees the two and answers Darius first, "Never underestimate the one who was trained by Yusei Fudo and Jaden Yuki," Then he turned to Wraith and said, "Oh, don't worry, I'm starving for you and your simple minded academy duelists." Beserk said as he walked into the academy with a hand on his deck. Soon after entering, he felt a weird sense of hatred towards his being. He knew it was because of his newbie status. Then as he stood there for a few seconds, he walked over to a proctor and he talked to him for awhile. Then after Beserk signed into the academy, his was given a proctor to face. "Alright, who am I facing," Beserk asked as the proctor stepped up to bat. The proctor was wearing a white outfit which meant he was ranked in the Paladins Dorm. Although, he seemed to happy to be a duelist, he was standing there, wide-eyed and ready to face Beserk off. He spoke in a happy yet intimidating tone and said, "Call me, Baikro-sensei. I am the main proctor of the Paladins Dorm. Are you ready, Beserk?" Beserk strapped a red duel disk onto his arm and put his deck into the slot. "Of course. Why would I be if not for the fact that I want to duel?" Beserk raised an eyebrow. "Let's do this!" Baikro-sensei strapped a white duel disk onto his arm and said, "Glad to hear your enthusiam. Since you're ready, let us start!" Both of their life counters on their duel disks were sent to 4000. "Game on!" They both shouted drawing five cards from their decks. Beserk being the newbie here is allowed to go first. He draws his sixth card and notices it is "Kai Reborn" which was the card that Yusei gave to him. Kai Reborn? On my first turn? Beserk looked surprised as he put the card into his hand and summoned another card by the name of, "Elemental Hero Sparkman!" Sparkman came to the field with sparks flying all around him as Beserk laid a card face down. "I place one card face down and I end my turn!" The turn switches to Baikro-sensei as he immediately draws one card from his deck and summons it to the field. "I summon Cyber Dragon to my field!" Crap! Beserk thought as he remembered the effect of Cyber Dragon. When summoning Cyber Dragon on the first turn, you can play it only because your opponent has a monster on your side of the field. "By the look of your face, I can see my beast is not so new to you. Then let us see if you really do know its devastating power!" Baikro-sensei had played one card face down and engaged for his monster to attack. "Cyber Dragon! Attack his Elemental Hero Sparkman!" "No way, Baikro-sensei!" Beserk said as he activated his face down card. "Draining Shield!" It stopped his monsters attack and gave him 2100 more life points giving him 6100 life points. It also ended Baikro's battle phase. "Excellent, Beserk. Now, I end my turn." Baikro said as he ended his turn. Looks like he more than he looks.... Beserk then drew a card from his deck. It was polymirization. "My move," Beserk said. Everyone around him was in awe except Darius and Wraith. They've seen people like him before "I activate polymirization to fuse Elemental Hero Sparkman, Avian, and Bubbleman to create my Elemental Hero Tempest!" Tempest was a powerful beast of an elemental hero. Baikro-sensei was surprised by how quickly Tempest was summoned but he had something to combat it. As Beserk played one more card face down, Baikro-sensei began his turn. "My move, then!" Baikro said as he noticed Beserk did not attack. "No attack?" "Nope, now make your move," Beserk ordered. "Fine! I play Cyber Dragon once again," Baikro stated as he played another Cyber Dragon from his hand. "Then I play polymirization!" Baikro exclaimed as he fused two Cyber Dragon's together. "Cyber Twin Dragon!" "Hmph, nice try but I play this! H-Heated Heart!" Beserk activated a quick-spell from his hand that raised Tempest ATK points by 500. So, now his ATK points were 3300. "Tempest attack with Whirlwind Destruction!" Tempest flew into the air of the virtual area and struck the Cyber Twin Dragon into smitherins. Then the proctor lost 500 life points leaving him with 3500 life points. "So, ready to give up yet?" "A sensei doesn't give up that easily, Beserk. Remember that," Baikro said as Beserk ended his turn. "Alright, whatever, just go, Baikro-sensei," Beserk ordered. "Now, its time to end your time here!" Baikro said as he played a spell card and drew one card. "I activate Power Bond!" Baikro then played three Proto-Cyber Dragon's and fused them together to create, "Cyber End Dragon!" He now had 8000 ATK points because of Power Bond. He then attacked Tempest but as he did, Beserk activated a trap card. "I activate Hero Barrier!" Hero Barrier defends all Elemental Hero's from one attack for one turn. Hero Barrier defended against Cyber End Dragon's attack and Baikro's turn had ended. "Sorry, but this duel is over for you, sensei," Beserk said as Baikro remembered the effect of the Power Bond. "Darn it!" Baikro said as he lost the rest of his life points. "Very nice, Beserk," Baikro said as he walked over to him and shook his hands. "Welcome to Genesis Academy," Suddenly, Beserk shook Baikro's hand and looked up at Darius and Wraith. He then raised two fingers and saluted them with his two fingers. He then mouthed to them, "Remember the name, Nagato Beserk," Beserk then finished shaking Baikro's hands and went to the other proctors getting his Crimson jacket and moved him and his cards to the Crimson Dorm. "Its my turn for a duel i can really use the practice." he goes to a proctor and asks for a duel. "Now lets begin shall we" The proctor lets Wraith go first and both Wraith and the proctor say "duel." "Now i summon Proto Cyber Dragon in attack mode, thats right theres more then one person here that uses Cyber dragons, i end my turn." "Not bad for a start now i summon spear dragon in attack..." The proctor is cut off from a small laugh made by Wraith "No you dont i activate a quick play spell card offerings to the doomed! I destory your spear dragon but i skip my next draw phase." "good move" says the proctor " i then play a card face down and end my turn." "Excellent, i play one card face down and summon Yata- Garasu, now Proto Cyber Dragon and Yata-Garasu attack him directly, oh i forgot to mention, when Yata- Garasu attacks directly you skip your draw phase and since it is a spirit monster it goes back in my hand. I end my turn." The proctor stands in shock and Wraith can hear other duelists gasp. "not bad now its my move. I summon Giant orc and attack you Proto Cyber Dragon!" "Im afraid not" says wraith "what?!" "I activate Waboku so your attack is stopped" "very well good moves, i play a face down card and Giant orc changes to defense mode because of his effect and end my turn." " i draw, I play a card face down and I attack your with Giant orc with proto cyber dragon and thats all for now" " My turn" says the proctor " i play monster reborn on Giant orc and ill have him attack your Proto cyber dragon and finish it for good!" Wraith losses 1100 life points. " I switch Giant orc to defense and i end my turn" " its my turn I sacrifice my face down troop dragon and his effect allows me to take another one from my deck and place it in face up Attack or Defense and ill chooses defense to summon Dark ruler ha des, now destroy his giant orc. I end my turn." says Wraith "not bad, my move. and i play monster reincarnation by discarding one card from my hand i add a card from my graveyard to my hand. I summon spear dragon and attack your troop dragon. I understand troop dragons effect but Spear dragon does piercing damage so you lose 1100 life points Wraith. Im not done i sacrifice my spear dragon to summon The End of Anubis and end my turn" says the proctor Procor's life points: 2700 Wraith's life points: 1800 "I draw and i play pot of greed and draw two cards." Wraith then puts on a smile. "I play two cards face down and end my turn. Im warning you surrender now!" he says "No way im just getting started my move, i play one card face down and end my turn." "i warned you, im now going to show you my one hit kill techique, first i activate ring of destruction on your end of anubis and we both take life point damage equal to it its attack points which is 2500!" The crowd gasps thinking that wraith will eliminate himself "That means you will kill yourself!" the proctor yells "Not if i activate this, barrel behind the door! This counter traps card is very useful and is essential to this plan you see if damage is inflicted to my life points the damage i take goes to you so you are really losing 5000 life points! " Nice job Wraith, welcome to Genesis Academy." They shake hands and Wraith leaves and heads for the Oni black rose dorms. On the way there he spots Beserk heading towards his dorm, Wraith waves and then turns around and heads to his own dorm. He then speaks to himself "He has skill, perhaps its equal or maybe more then mine. Dueling him would be intresting but that will have to wait untill the time is right, I need to stop underestimating people." "I guess it's my turn then..." Darius walks up to the proctor, "Let's get this over with." "Very well then," replies the proctor. "You may begin." Darius draws a card. "I play a monster in defense mode and I end my turn." "Right so it's my move," the proctor draws a card. "I summon Dunames Dark Witch in attack mode. And now Dunames Dark Witch, attack his facedown!" "Congratulations, you just destroyed a Skull Servant." Darius: 4000 Proctor: 4000 "My turn." Darius draws. "Now I summon Senju of the Thousand Hands and his ability activates. I can add a ritual monster to my hand." Darius selects a card. "I activate White Dragon Ritual by tributing Senju. I now ritual summon Paladin of White Dragon and activate his effect. I tribute Paladin of White Dragon to summon Blue-eyes White Dragon from my deck." The hologram of a massive white dragon appears. "But that's not all. Now I activate Fulfillment of the Contract by paying 800 life points. By doing so I special summon Paladin of White Dragon from the graveyard. And now I tribute Paladin again to summon another Blue-eyes White Dragon from my deck. Now I activate Polymerization to fuse my two Blue-eyes on the field and the one in my hand to summon Blue-eyes Ultimate Dragon. The worst has yet to come, I send Skull Servant and Senju from my graveyard out of play to summon Chaos Sorcerer. I activate Chaos Sorcerer's effect to send your Dark Witch out of play. And now Blue-eyes Ultimate Dragon! Use Triple White Lightning!" Darius: 3200 Proctor: 0 "Good duel my friend, you're in. Go to the dorm of your choice." Darius walks alone to the Oni Black Rose dorm. Once Beserk is at his dorm, he notices that a few other students who were newbies compared to him, had made it into his dorm room. There were two students there. One was named Raiku and the other was named Zen. They both bore a mark on their arms but Beserk didn't know this. He only noticed they seemed to be smiling awfully hard. Beserk grinned at them once and kept staring at them after that. It's like he couldn't look away. Once he did get control over himself, he said to them, "Um...Aren't you guys smiling really hard?" "Of course. We are glad to be here." Raiku said as he stopped smiling. "Aren't you glad to be here?" Zen asked with a sort of squeaky voice. "Tch, please, I only came here to become a better duelist and duel different opponents. Hopefully, I do get some challenge from those bastards Wraith and Darius." Beserk said as Zen and Raiku held out their hands to shake. "Name's Raiku, kid! I've been here for at least 4 years and still haven't passed." He said as Beserk shook his hand. "Nagato Beserk and that's all you need to know about me for now." Beserk answered as he shook Zen's hand. "My name's Zen, Beserk. I came from the Exodus but I did something explicit so now I'm here..." Zen said scratching his head. "Nice to meet you two. Now, where will I be sleeping?" Zen and Raiku pointed to a raggy bed made of sticks and wood. Surprisingly, it looked comfortable. Beserk walked over to it, felt it for any termites, and put his stuff on it. It did not break nor budge. "Whatever, this'll have to do." Beserk said as he sat down on his bed. He then took out his deck and pulled out Kai Reborn. Why Yusei-sensei? Why? Why does this card make me feel so powerful? Raiku and Zen then looked at Beserk with wide-eyes. "Can I help you two?" "Well, can we see that card you're holding?" Zen and Raiku asked. "What for?" "Just to see it, Beserk," "Sorry guys," Beserk said as he shoved the card back into his deck. "Hands and eyes off. You can only see this card when I use it in my duels. Now, lets go get some lunch shall we?" "Alright, but you better use that card in a duel soon, Beserk," Zen said as they both walked out of the door. Beserk then stopped and walked back to their dorm. "Raiku are you coming?" "I'll catch up." Raiku said as Beserk and Zen left. Beserk and Zen walked at least two miles to the The Paladins Dorm and then another two miles to the Oni Black Rose Dorm. Then they turned the corner and about half a mile down the road there was the cafeteria for everyone. Unlike Duelist Academy, the lunch halls were not seperated into each dorm. There was only one lunch hall for everyone to eat at. Sadly, Zen and Beserk landed in line behind Wraith. "Wraith, great...I know I'll regret asking this asinine question, but what dorm did you land in?" Beserk asked. "Well hello there Beserk and some person that i do not know the name of, im in the Oni Black Rose Dorm." Wraith says "As am I," Darius gets in line behind Beserk. "What brings you here? Wait a minute, don't answer that. It's obvious, you're just hungry right?" "I am here for food as well, also i do kinda feel bad about being a bit nasty to you Darius and Beserk earlyer today, ive been very stressed out. For the past two years or so ive been looking for something and ive traveled to many areas trying to find it but no luck yet. Im hoping i can learn more here and perhaps find what i am looking for." "I am not just here for food. I am also scouting out the competition to see if there is anyone good in this academy." "You should know why I am here, Wraith. To check out the competition and actually beat down those snot nosed Paladin Dorm Duelist," Beserk answers as he glares at the Paladins. Unbeknowest to them, The Paladins were a bunch of snoty rich kids but to Beserk he saw them as just that. "The Paladins? You really hate them? Why? I thought they were nice and well mannered people?" Zen asked. "No, I see their dumbass scheme. They think they can fool everyone with their dumbass scheme but only the wise see through that asinine plan. Don't you see, Darius, Wraith," Beserk asked waiting for an answer. "Yeah I see it too. Those Paladins think they're better than everyone else. Well perhaps we should test that." "ah yes i do agree to that we should just defeat everyone of them, come to think of it that sounds like lots of fun." Wraith thinks to himself. "it would be even better if i can find that card ive been looking for." "How about tonight we send them a personal invitation?" Beserk asked raising an eyebrow. "Fine, you guys can do whatever you want but I'll have no part of it." Zen said as the line started to move again. "Hmm sounds like a wonderful idea." He looks at Zen. "Are you sure you do not want part in this, it will be loads of fun." He says in an eviler voice. "Just leave him. He lacks the guts to do what is required of him to do," says Darius impatiently "Yeah, when I met Zen about two minutes ago he seemed like a wuss." Beserk laughed at Zen. "Thanks for the support, Beserk!" Zen said angrily. "Don't worry, you know I was just kidding." Beserk said as he got serious. "After lunch, we'll duel them." "sounds like a great idea, ive yet to show off the full potential of my deck and let me say it can get incredibly annoying against my deck, also do you know anything about the sacred beast cards?" "Yeah, they're extremely powerful and there's only one of each. I hear that there is a vault under this school that contains them as well as the Egyptian God cards." "The Sacred beasts? No, I've heard as much as Darius. Why? Are those the cards you're looking for?" "Im not intrested in Egyptian God cards, however i am intrested in one of the sacred beast cards ive been researching, that is what ive been searching for over two years." "Which sacred beast card?" Zen asked. " If you must know, im looking for Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder." "That one really?" Beserk asked as he pointed to one of The Paladins. It was their leader or who seemed to be their leader, Ryuu. "He uses many dragons in his deck and I've heard that his signature card may be one of the sacred beasts. Beat him and maybe you'll be able to take the card from him." "According to my research it says that not all of the sacred beast cards are locked up so far and i also read that one of them is already in the hands of someone, so what i hear so far. As for that person in The Paladins there is a chance he may not have it, it can be any of them or something else. If he uses dragons, he may not have Hamon because he is a thunder monster but then again he may." Wraith then Talks to Darius while Beserk and Zen are looking away for a moment, he speaks softly. "Darius, i can help but notice that you are after something strong as well like the card im looking for, am i right?" Darius whispers back, "What's it to you?" "i can sense that your after something that is in the vault." "Perhaps. But once again, what is it to you?" "Perhaps i can help you get what you want, come now tell me what is it that you want." "I seek the Winged Dragon of Ra. With it nothing can stand in my way." "you see we are both alike, we want more power to make our decks unstoppable, lets just say i may know a thing or two about this vault, I want Hamon so i can duel someone that already has one of the sacred beast cards. The next question is that how can i know that you are worthy enough to work with me." "Duel me then. Meet me in the duel arena at midnight. Don't be late." Darius gets off line and leaves. As Wraith is reading he notices that its 15 minutes to midnight, he grabs his deck and heads for the Arena. 15 minutes later..... "As yes shall we begin." Around 3:00AM at night, the polic knock at Beserk's dorm door. Beserk seems to be up anyway and he walks over and opens the door. "Who is it?" Beserk asked quietly letting the others sleep. "The police," They shout. "The police? What do you people want?" "Just let us in! We have some questions for you!" "Alright, I'll let you in." Beserk says as he opens the door. "Alright, Nagato Beserk, do you know Darius Apep and Warith Remeoplh ((Sorry, if I spelled that incorrectly.)) of the Oni Black Rose Dorm?" The police asked as Beserk sees Zen enter the room and lay down. "Why does it have any relevance?" Beserk asked. "Because if you don't tell us anything, then we must arrest you so we WILL get the answers out of you eventually." "I'm not a snitch!" Beserk yelled angrily. "Then come with us," The police said as a wave of blue fire incinerated the police out of nowhere. They fell into the water under the dorm and sank to the bottom. Without any air, they had died before they even got to the top. "Guess they decided to leave. Tch, freakin' idiots." Beserk said as he turned off his light and went to sleep. The next day, Beserk woke up to find his new friends gone. He then looked at the clock and it read, "8:30AM". Beserk was late for class. "Crap!" Beserk yelled angrily as he got dressed for class. He walked into class with a pass and took his seat next to Zen. He also noticed Darius and Wraith were in class and he had noticed Darius was wearing a bandage around his hand. He passed a note to Darius asking, "What happened to your hand?" |

"Hey, you Beserk, what do you think you are doing?!" It was Baikro sensei again. Son of a bitch...Beserk thought angrily as he mumbled something under his breath. "What did you say, Beserk?!" "Oh, nothing but anyway, here take it and read it. I don't really give a damn." Baikro-Sensei read it to himself and said, "Beserk, Darius, and Wraith, come to the front desk." Beserk, Darius, and Wraith get up and walk towards the front desk. Suddenly, as they begin to get up, a large hole in the ceiling is bust open from the top and as it does, it shows two things. One, the ceiling had crumbled on top of the rest of the students. Two, a Crimson Dragon had appeared and flew at Beserk, Wraith, and Darius. They all ducked and Beserk grabbed three duel disks. One was red, One was Black, and the other was gold and black. Beserk got the red one, Darius got the black one, and Wraith got the gold and black one. "You gonna help me with this, Warith, Darius?!" Beserk asked strapping on his duel disk and putting on his deck. |

((Let's continue this then.)) Beserk wakes up several hours in a caspule where his arms being examined. "Huh? What's going on?" Beserk also notices Wraith and Darius' caspule. They are also being examined. The person examining them and himself is the one and only show stage duelist, Jack Atlas. "Damn, its Jack! He's that bastard that almost killed my master, Yusei but my master defeated him! What is he doing here?" Beserk thought as Jack opens all their caspules. They all fall out but get back up almost instantly. |
