Hey, the names Rickie. I just wanted to write a little story, about what happened to me, two days before receiving my year 10 certificate in late 2009. It was a sunny morning, towards the end of term four. By this time, exams had all been completed and year ten students where no longer required to come to school. A few of us, however, had decided to continue to go to school for socializing and such. It was the first period of the day, only seven students where at school. instead of heading off in our own separate ways and being alone in our classrooms, we decided to join together, and head to the year 10 physical activity class that was running. We headed in the direction of our hall, in hope to find the teacher running the class. Instead, finding a teacher running a year 7 class. We all, as a group, tried to enter the hall, however, we where restricted access by this teacher. Off course, being in the final days of school, instead of following instructions we decided to be cheeky, and got a friend student from the class to open the doors for us, thus gaining entry to the hall. One boy passed the teacher by running, then hiding behind a wall in a hallway behind the main stage of the hall. The teacher totally ignoring the other boy that had entered the hall with me, came straight for me. He blocked me from moving anywhere with his arms, and began to drop his shoulder in to my chest, and demanded I leave the hall. I asked him to stop on several occasions, but due to the teachers ego and own emotional issues, he didn't. He shoved me at least 5 times before I finally took action, Grabbing him by the shirt and slamming him in to a wall, uttering the following 'Don't fucking touch me!' Before finally exiting the hall. The teacher began to tremble, and raced out the hall behind me, screaming for help, saying I had Hit him, spat on him, and completely assaulted him. While I had grabbed the teacher, in self defense to stop him from touching me, I never did what he claimed I did. A fellow teacher rushed him to the deputy principal, while I, discussed what had happened with another teacher. I was expelled from the school, the teacher wasn't warned, and continues his job as normal. This teacher has previously assaulted a female student in the past, leaving bruises on her wrist, and this incident was also reported, no action was taken against the teacher. I was expelled, TWO DAYS before I received my year ten certificate, and due to being expelled, I was thus declined it. I know have to do year ten again, completely. Fair... Or Unfair? This is definitely Unfucking fair! Especially knowing that the teacher is still aloud to teach... This is why we have to take action against shit like this, we can't allow teachers to overtake us! It is us, the students of schools world wide that must declare victory in every battle. We are the students, we are on top, not the teachers. How is it fair the the teachers have a higher priority over the students, what? just because of age? |
