Dex popped on earlier today, and he's been trying all day yesterday and the day before too but he can't find you. He's wondering if you're on the Onyx server? |

All has been cleared up, other then finding Sinless. (aka. SinlessWolf.) He is the only one I've not found. I do have contact with Shones (Shones) and Spork (AgentSpork) We've also thought about making a guild just like Talon for DoMo. The sad thing is you need a team with the characters being lvl 20. However, this is still just a idea, having a guild in that game will take time and planing. For starters it will cost 20k gold. |

As you all know (or some of you) I haven't been playing Mabi as much. Well that is because I've started playing another game for the time being. It's called Runes of Magic. http://us.runesofmagic.com/us/index.html I've been playing for about a week, maybe a little longer. Here is what I think of it so far: For starters you get to own your own house! It will hold house items, (everything you get is just for looks, unless you buy from thier cashshop.) You do get to have a chest for your home that will hold 20 items for you. The house can have 10 items placed anywhere you like, even on the walls! If you want more items within your home it will take cashshop money/energy for it. My house is used for growing plants and my chest, nothing more. You can also have friends visit your house and even use your chest, (if allowed.) There is also a bank that stores your items. (just like any bank.) There are two races to pick from: Human and Elf. I ended up picking Elf: Mage/Druid. I'm learning the fire skills of Mage, and healing of Druid. Grinding: So far its fair, I can't say I've done much, but I'm at level 20. Quests are like everything else in games. "Get X item from X monster" "Gather X item" or "Kill X monster" Although the quests are blah, some of the items you get from them are part of a Set. Get the whole set and tada bonus stuff. (can anyone say Diablo?) Quests also offer a good amount of exp. Drop rate: Seems really good, but that may be from the monsters never dropping gold, so your only way of income is from selling items, or doing quests. Item Making: You collect 3 types of items, herbs, wood, and ore. (guess what one I'm learning to master...) From those 3 collected items you refine them into items you can use. And you use another skill to use those newly refined items. Alchemy, Blacksmithing, Cooking, (and others I don't remember) The sad thing is you can only get to level 20 in these skills before you have to choose what ones you want to up the cap. You can only learn 6 skills to level 21-40. 3 skills to level 41-60. and 1 skill to 61-80. So you can't learn everything! So pick carefully. There is also the misc skill of planting, it just offers you a way of gathering collection items from home insted of finding them out in the world. You also have to water and feed them, they eat and drink even if you are offline and can die if not checked on about every 10 hours. (Give or take some, I'm not perfect on the timing and have had to learn the hard way. I really wouldn't pick planting as a skill to master, or even go past lvl 20.) The World: It looks small based on the world map, but that doesn't count the dungeons or towns really. I've only been to a few places, (3 area maps and 3 dungeons.) and they are ok. Overall Rating: When first starting the game I loved the login music and making a character. (still do.) The bad part was finding a name that wasn't already taken. The download was a real pain in the butt. I use something from a PC Gamer disc to start downloading it. It took about a day to download this thing! After all that I find I had downloaded about 5 GB. Then to top it all off I couldn't even play, it had to update... This was the worst part of all, it would freeze from time to time, sometimes I'd have to manual patch the thing for it to start off again. (and they don't want you to manual patch the game either. However I do still have the link needed to do this.) Over all this 'patching' took about half-a-day. (turns out you download about 1.5 GB more.) So add this time up, minus sleeping, took about a total time of 24 hours! But the question is, was it worth it? After playing for a week I think so, its a hard hill to climb, but when you get to the top you can enjoy the fact you made it. |
