Mine? Corpse Party. Why?
Because I won't shut up about it. Still.
No seriously, people need to play this rare gem of a game. Quite niche and can be incredibly overlooked. Unfortunately is PSN only download.
I'm not telling you the premise, but I will say it does its job well in the horror genre... that and the depressing genre... So many negative emotions at once X_X
I was quite surprised. I usually laugh at horror games, but this... this...
This is... this is surprisingly wonderful!!!!
Everything is great about it! And there are SO many bad/death endings it's not even funny!
So what are your favorites?

I am biased because all I know is Tales P:
Xillia came out in 2011, and I made a friend who's playing the crap out of that game who knows a thing or two about the Japanese language. He says it runs by standard fair of Tales games but since it was made specifically for the PS3 and for the 15th anniversary, a lot of hype and work went into it. Regular FMVs and with ufotable doing the animation instead of Project I.G., it is a visually stunning game with a fast battle system and the most prolific traitor in Tales history. However there were some things that had to be cut from the final product(Arena cameo battles, hot springs scene, a kinda rushed ending so I've heard).
Would I say it's the best? No. 'Cause I haven't played it, or many other games for that matter so what can of standing do I have to speak out about this P:

THE MOST PROLIFIC TRAITOR IN TALES IS KRATOS *Noms Rae's head*
*Cough* My silly opinion aside... Game of 2011 for me...
It's a close tie between Dragon Age II and Skyrim, both are great RPG fun but I gotta go with Dragon Age.
I think Dragon Age II was a great game, but most critics condemn it's main story. I believe it was good and different from what Bioware did in Dragon Age: Origins, and they improved with party members' stories, interactions and completely changed the battle system. This game and its predecessor are the only two games I can play with every 6 months and still enjoy both by fleshing out a character in my mind and making the big choices in each game.
I currently have 3 different versions of Thedas, the world Dragon Age takes place in. I have six characters, each pair being connected by inheriting the choices I made in Origins. With so many possibilities for the future of Thedas, I want to explore every single one and see the ultimate fate of the world in Dragon Age 3.
