"Still..." Derrick sighed, scratching his head. "You're supposed to be the compassionate one, aren't you? I don't think they seriously would have killed me... Once they found out you weren't whoever they were mistaking you for... Well, it would be easy to resolve the issue afterward, at least that's how I see it." He explained calmly, though sweatdropping.
"..." Taini sighed, realizing that Derrick was right. "Yeah, you're right Hun. I guess I just have been really moody lately. Normally I don't act like that... but I think the fact that I'm worried for Leo may be pushing me on edge. He may be bratty, but he's still our boy and I'm pretty sure we love him." She joked before sighing. "We should probably see what's up about me being nearly kidnapped though. I mean, honestly, who can I be mistaken for? We also may kill two birds with one stone while we find out the reason!"
~~~~~
At some point near the middle of the night, Anna awoke with a silent yawn. 'Frisky...' She motioned, poking at Glenn. 'Heeeeeey... Are you awake?' She asked him, looking up to see his eyes probably open. She suddenly climbed atop the young man, starting to rub her body against him.
Of course she was right. During that entire night Glenn was wide awake, completely unable to fall asleep due to worrying about the situation. "Uh? Anna..." Glenn whispered as he suddenly pulled her into a hug. "Y-yeah, I'm awake... Why are you awake? I mean, are you um... too 'prickly' to sleep?" He teased her playfully as he then slipped his hands under her shirt, beginning to caress her back as he felt his entire nude body tense at the reaction.
~~~~~
"Well that's a pity if it isn't." Aria laughed. "Because I really think it will help you quite..." She kissed him deeply. "Quite a lot. Now come on, it's time for your final exam for the term." She whispered.
Jace pulled back for a moment, realizing that she did, in fact, kissed him. Heart have been lodged in his throat at the hearing of the words 'Final Exam' and the kiss, Jace shook his head, realizing that it would help. "Y-yeah... I think I have studied well enough." He then kissed her just as deep, gripping her hips and massaging them with his thumbs.
~~~~~
"Well, whatever, look, you need to grab all your things and head for the chapel, both of you," Neige said, turning away.
"W-what? Why?" Fenix asked.
"Can't have dead people slumming around the squire's quarters." Neige replied.
"Wait... are you saying we passed?" Jessica asked as she stood up onto her feet, feeling sore, but nothing more than that, save for a couple of bruises on her neck and torso.
~~~~~
"Well, yeah, of course I did." Zach said, wondering why Alma hadn't changed into the bathing suit. For several minutes, he stared out at the moving waters. "You know... This is a bit of a private spot, isn't it?" He asked her softly. He turned to face her, then gave her a hug. "You know... Maybe we can... Just spend some time here. If you're feeling up to it."
"Spend some time?" Alma asked softly as she returned the hug tightly. "I vould love to. I am sorry for how I acted earlier." She whispered, lowering her head, displaying her sincerity. "I vant to make it up ze best I can. I guess I am not used to anyone being defiant around me... or at me." She then lifted a gentle hand and placed it under Zach's chin. Blue eyes glittering, she added, "Pardonnez-moi (Forgive me)?"

"Hm?" Zach blinked, thinking back. He had spent a considerable amount of time over the past months in Grand Chokmah, learning the language somewhat during that time. "Hey... Of course I forgive you... I just wanted to look out for you." He said, rubbing her side. "But... Well, we'll have time now. We can just relax as long as we need to." He smiled.
"I vould like to..." Alma nodded, having a strong tug at her chest, wondering if something wrong was going to happen. She then glanced at Zach, smiling, then turned her head to the waters, noticing two outlines not too far from them. "Hmm..." She tried to get a good look at them, but it was definitely just two outlines... two outlines of human beings.
"..." Zach blinked. "Huh?" He asked. "What's up?" He sat up a little bit, looking at the outlines. "Uh... Wait... What's going on now?" He asked. 'Ugh... Why do people need to show up now of all times?' He thought, frowning slightly.
"It izn't... I can't see zhem, but..." The woman then stood onto her feet, then walked over to find out who they really were. Once she reached her destination, she found nothing but still outlines, though she was face to face with them. She then waved a hand at the outlines, but both seemed to have moved a few steps ahead of her. As she followed, she squinted, beginning to see extremely faint appearances.
"What..." Zach blinked, staring. "... Seems... Unreal..." He mumbled, looking off. "Erm... I think we should probably just head back to the house, right?" He asked her, feeling uncomfortable.
~~~~~
"I suppose you can call it that." The God General spoke up. "Hurry it up, the quarters are empty for now, since everyone's out training." She continued.
Fenix sighed, jumping to his feet. "Er... Right... Thank you, ma'am!" He said, looking to Jessica and nodding. "Hey... I guess we're headed the same way for now, huh?" He asked. He ran back to the barracks with her, then grabbing their things. They eventually returned to the chapel, seeing a surprised instructor.
"Hm... Right, so you two are the new knights..." He said. "This is odd... Normally new knights are assigned to rooms with elder knights of the same gender... But for whatever reason, you two have been assigned the same room... Er... Right." He said, leading them on to their room, which was MUCH nicer, though still in the sub sub sub basement of the chapel, and alone.
"... Hey... Do you think... That this means that she's letting us keep up with the charade?" Fenix asked.
"...Yulia, that would be great! We can just... well yeah. It is surprising that we are sleeping in the same room though. I mean, I understand that but... at the same time, one of the reasons for keeping men and women separate are for cultural reasons. And well, um... things that they could possibly do which would disturb probably everyone." She laughed as she hopped onto her bed. "Well, not like I would be doing anything." She shrugged. "Wonder if we will be put into the same rooms until we reveal ourselves?"
"Or until we're no longer knights in training," Fenix said. "We'll be able to get single rooms before we get a chance to reveal it." He pointed out.
"That is true. Would be nice to have my own room once in awhile. Privacy is always good," Jessica yawned as she placed her hands behind her bed.
"Still, at least we don't have to share with anyone else now, right?" Fenix asked.
~~~~~
"... Good... Because I'd hate to fail you... After all this." Aria said, smiling as her breath started to grow slightly shallow. "I think it's always best when the student can teach the teacher." She said with a smile.
Jace replied with a smile of his own, wondering why he felt so comfortable at this point. It also made him, for the first time in a long while, truly happy. Kissing her again, he then picked her up and carried her to the bed, letting her down as he then pressed against her on the bed. "Heh, I think with your experience, there is no way I can teach you." He whispered as he then pressed his forehead against hers for a moment.
"I disagree." Aria said. "People can always learn... Now it's your chance... Go on... Instruct away." She said seductively, pulling on the collar a little bit.
Jace shuddered as he then kissed a spot on her neck, a spot that he managed to find only a month before, knowing it was far better than the spot she had loved. "Now I feel like I'm being put in the spotlight." He flushed, but began to lap at the spot, his hands on her breasts as he began to knead and rolled them, occasionally squeezing them.
"Oh...?" Aria blinked. "So... What are you doing now?" She asked, stretching her body reflexively.
~~~~~
Anna arched her back a little, stretching out her body. 'Frisky, jerk!' She said, bonking her head into his as she started to dry hump him. 'I'm finally a little awake...' She motioned. 'I had a funny dream... We finished it... I want to finish it.' She said.
"@.@" Glenn was slightly dazed from Anna's bonk, but he began to move with her, fidgeting as he smiled, peeling off her entire outfit. "Finished it? How do you mean by finished?" He asked, slightly confused as he began to kiss her neck softly. He then reached down to her bottom, rubbing it with one hand.
'No more fighting.' Anna said. 'Just be able to be happy and spend quality time together.' She explained, still not making much sense. 'Like... if we were done with our quest.' She explained.
Glenn tilted his head, starting to see the point, though he wasn't exactly sure of what to think. So he decide to ask further, his hands now wrapped around her nude body for a moment. "No more fighting? Wait, you're not really happy? What exactly... do you mean?"
'No more... Responsibility...' Anna said, snuggling into him. 'Just... To be able to spend all our time together... And relax... Wouldn't it just be wonderful?' She asked, kissing him.
~~~~~
"Pretty sure you love him?" Derrick asked, following her until he saw some guy who looked more frustrated and or panicked than the rest. "Hey you! Guy in the tuxedo that looks like you haven't changed it in a day or two!" He said. "What's going on here?" He asked.
"Alma!?" Quickly he turned to Taini, shocked and most likely delirious. Of course before Taini could even react, she felt arms wrapped around her neck, which caused her to flinch.
"Où avez-vous été, très chère? (Where have you been, dearest?)" He asked, throwing Taini completely off. "...Look," She began as she took his wrists and pried them off of her. "I don't know what you said, but I have a feeling you're telling the wrong person that."
"But..." Kain took another look at the woman, realizing that it was, in fact, not his wife. "Oh... you are not her. I was hoping... I thought she was the only one..." He whispered, taking a look at Taini's tail. Then realized that the woman did not have cat ears, but instead human ones.
"No, actually, that's my wife, by the way, thank you very much for answering me." Derrick said, appearing slightly agitated. "So I take it your wife is missing... Well, we're looking for someone precious too... But that's beside the point. The point is, we're detectives. If you give us some direction, we may be able to find this... Alma, was it?"
"Hmph." Taini folded her arms as turned her head away, not too amused with the proposition.
"Yes. I beg of you, please help me find her... she had been kidnapped by that damn rogue..." Kain replied, causing Taini's eyebrows to be raised.
"Hm? So what's in it for us?" She asked. "You seem to be the type to have nearly anything. And that's the problem. We have everything we will ever need."
"I will help you find what you need to find in exchange."
"I... Don't think that you're going to be of any help to us, kid." Derrick sighed. "To be honest, we're the best at finding people. You won't be able to do anything more than slow us down." He muttered. "We need details."

"I appear to be your age..." Kain grumbled, not too happy about the 'kid' comment. Taini shrugged, chuckling. "Well, we have our secrets, but we have twice your age on us." She pointed out to the man, then folded her arms again. "So, give us hints."
So he explained her physical description and unique features, then details that would tip off that it was her, such as her mannerisms and speech. After finishing, Kain took a step back. "I will trust in the both of you to find her. I don't want her hurt."
"Of course! We will protect her the best we can. And by the best, I mean there's hardly anything that can stop me." Taini grinned before gazing at her husband. "Well, are you ready Derrick? Seems like we have a new project as well."
"... Yeah... But hopefully it won't stop us from finding and protecting our son." Derrick sighed. "Even if he is a horrible person."
"Yup... he really needs to have some discipline. Geez." Taini scratched her head before running out to the rheiard and starting it, and soon they were on their way, checking out the next area after deducing that their son was not in Grand Chokmah.
~~~~
Glenn kissed Anna again and again, while flushing, very happy to understand her. "It would. We could spend several years doing whatever after. No responsibilities. I mean, what have you thought of doing in the future? Have you ever had a dream?" He asked as he continued to hold her, then moved from kissing her lips to her cheek, and finally her neck.
'I... I don't know...' Anna said, blinking. She closed her eyes as if in a silent groan. 'I just... For now, I want to feel incredible... Like only you can make me feel...' She mumbled.
Glenn reddened further at the response as he then kissed her again, then rubbed against her a little longer. "I want to feel the same exact way..." He mumbled as he then picked her up, holding her close, then sat down so that she was on his lap. With a small smile, he moved himself so that he could slide into her, which caused him to gasp for a moment as he held her close in a tight hug.
~~~~
"Don't know..." Jace breathed as he began to press her wrists down. "Today, I just..." He knew that every time he was forceful, and took the act with wild lust. Not once had he attempted slow and passionate, and for once he was going to try and at least surprise her with it. So he began to massage her sides, his face in her neck as his teeth on her lobe, nibbling gently as he moved one of his hands from her side to lower body, soon stripping her of the lingerie. The way you are talking to me right now... the way you have been acting toward me... I want to do it my way today.
"Yes?" Aria asked. Her voice was practically full of delight. "I'm curious now!" She said, grinning. "So, what on earth are you planning to do?" She chuckled.
"Well, you'll see!" Jace grinned as he removed the rest of her clothing, half with his teeth, before kissing her neck happily. He then began to massage every bit of her body, hoping to loosen her and relax her completely before he took her, and in the meantime he made it to one of her breasts and began to stroke a nipple with his tongue teasingly.
~~~~
"True, but still no privacy," Jessica laughed as she turned over to the wall. "I am thinking of a quick nap. Can you wake me up in an hour?"
"Set an alarm or something." Fenix shrugged, relishing in the fact that he now had a bed that was softer than a bag of rocks, though wondering how he had became a KIT in only several months.
"Fine, whatever." Jessica rolled her eyes before setting the alarm on an alarm clock and turned over again, decided to snooze. With Fenix, it was only a few months, but with Jessica, it have been a few years before she reached this level. Thinking about it, she sighed mentally, wondering how pathetic she could truly be.
~~~~
"Y-yeah..." Alma blinked as she held out a hand to them, only to realize they were no longer existent. Heart thumping, she turned back and followed Zach back to the house. "So odd..." She whispered before entering the door, her eyes to Zach. "Did you feel deja vu back zhere?"
"... Yeah... To the point that it just made me feel off..." Zach sighed, suddenly clinging to her. "But... As long as it's gone, right?" He asked, smiling at her.
"Yes, zhat iz true. But still, I can't help but vonder vhat zhat vaz... I don't zhink it vaz just me, vaz it?" Alma asked as she clenched onto Zach for a moment.

"No... I saw them too..." Zach said. "It was so strange... I don't even want to think about it!" He admitted. "So... Uh... Yeah." He sighed. "But... We're here now, right?" He asked, gently placing a kiss on the woman's cheek. "Well... If there's no one actually watching us... NOW I think we can finally spend some time... Er... Yeah, some alone time." He said to her with a smile.
"Y-yeah... I vould very much enjoy zhat. Heh, I mean, zhis morning and afternoon vaz quite horrid, but ze evening and probably tonight vill make up for it." Alma whispered as she kissed Zach's nose, then walked over to the small kitchen with a stomach growl.
"... Hungry?" Zach asked, smiling at her. He placed a hand to his nose, then followed into the kitchen, looking at the meager food supply they'd been given to start by the oresoren. "So... Does any of it seem tasty?" He asked her. He started to shuffle through, finding generous amounts of seafood and fish, as well as some flour, salt, and spices. "Hm... Uh... Fried shrimp?" He asked.
"Fried shrimp soundz very good. Zhat and some flounder! Can ve have some of zhat?" Alma's eyes lit up at the sight of it, but suddenly she heard a knock, causing her to whirl around with shock. "Ve cannot get a moment's peace, can ve?" She sighed as she dropped the flounder she had picked up.
"Ugh... What?" Zach asked, putting the shrimp back onto the ice it had been stored on, then heading over and opening the door, seeing two strange looking people. 'Oh shit...' His eyes widened, then he slammed the door. "Hey... You don't suppose there are people who could've found us already?" He asked, holding the door.
Meanwhile, on the other side, Derrick was huffing. "Are you sure that's them?" He asked. "That kid seemed kind of rude." He grumbled.
"...She has a tail. I peeked." Taini pointed out. "And cat ears. And she doesn't look like Mom. Only one explanation." She stated before knocking. "Hey! We just want to speak with you guys about something! It's about our son!"
Alma blinked as she took a step back. "Vhat do ve do Zach? Should ve help zhem? I mean, did zhey look like really bad people?" She asked with a deep frown.
"I don't know... But... I just wanted to be left alone... Dammit, there's only one door... The window!" Zach said. "I don't believe they'd think we know where their son is... not for a minute..."
"... So... You don't really think they'd have a clue about Leo, do you?" Derrick asked, blinking. "You're just making up stories, huh."
Taini shrugged. "Hey, it was either that or me busting the door open. I need to at least talk to them, but you know they won't listen til I beat the crap out of them." She smirked as she cracked her knuckles. "I don't care if they are Grandma and Grandpa." Of course she had known the entire time who they really were, and yet she was still confident about kicking their asses.
Alma opened the window quietly, having nodded to Zach. "You're right. Ve should get out of here, and quick! Ve don't vant to be hunted!" She whispered before lifting herself up through it, then landing. "Zach! Hurry!" She whispered again before taking off, only to smash into Taini and fall back on her derriere. "Ow..."
"So you really were going to try and sneak off huh?" Taini asked as she raised her brows. "Hm... wonder what the ransom would be to take you in, little girl!" She grinned before kneeling down to Alma. "I could probably earn enough to live a life of grandeur. Wouldn't it be awesome to think about?"
"N-No... pleaze don't bring me back..."
"Hey! Get back!" Zach said, brandishing his daggers and pointing them at Taini. For once in his life, Derrick didn't step in.
"I think you can handle this, right, dear?" He asked.
"Look... I don't know what people told you, but... I'm not letting her go! Let Kain rot in a ditch! He's not good enough for her!" He said.
"I can handle it." Taini raised a hand before smirking. "Look, you have no idea what we are here for, huh? If I even told you, you'd probably flip."
"Vhat are you even talking about?" Alma asked as she backed away further, glad that Zach had her back.
"...Grandma, Grandpa. I'm your granddaughter." Taini said rather bluntly, knowing what their reaction would be.
"VHAAAAAAAAAAT!? ARE YOU INSANE!?"
"... I think they may be crazy people..." Zach groaned, deciding between running and putting a shiv in Taini. Thankfully for everyone involved, he was a Carleonian before he was a Puerto Rican, so he grabbed Alma's wrist. "Let's get out of here!" He said.
"Aaaaaaaaand it begins..." Derrick sighed.
Taini sighed before unsealed her wings, just as the children took off. Before they even reached, oh let's say, twenty feet, she was already in front of them. "Okay, give it up. Now!"
"Gah!" Zach exclaimed, jumping back, somewhat stunned. "What is your problem? Just leave us alone!" He said, still pointing the knife at her. "Look... Just back off! We just want some peace here!" He said.
"Yes, and so don't I. I'm worry for my son, and you two are acting immature. If you HELP me and actually LISTEN, I will help you get away from those Grand Chokmahn snobs." Taini announced as her tail flicked.
"Do ve...?" Alma asked as she turned her head to the man.
"Hell, we can fake your deaths or something. Whatever. I'm really good at this stuff, so please?"
"... No... I don't want a war... As long as she's alive, a war won't break out!" Zach said. "We fake our deaths, all it means is that she was married to that git for nothing..." He muttered.
"Wait. Married!?" Taini was immediately thrown back by the answer. "This young? Okay, no wonder why it would be tougher..."
"Yeah... I know... Vhy vould you vant to help us?"
"Because whether you like to hear it or not, you are family and family always helps each other out. Though I did not know this til about five minutes ago."
"..." Zach shook his head. "Look, I know my family... My father and my mother... That's all I have. That's my world... I don't believe you..." He said, clenching his fists. "Please... Just leave us alone!" He said. "We've managed this far without any help! We can stand on our own!" He said, angry at them and angry at Ryan.
"Of course you don't believe me. Why would you? I sound like a batshit insane woman that looks barely 26. I am even older than the both of you. So why should I even bother?" Taini sighed. "If you don't let me help you out of this mess, I have no choice but to take you back to Kain. You want to play the stubborn game with me? I'll play it."
"..." Alma glanced at the other woman, her frown very apparent. She wished for nothing but her own freedom. Maybe they were too quick to judge, after all.
"I... do not vant to go back, but I von't trust you... Zach iz right. You can hardly trust anyone on Carleon! Vhy should I put faizh in you?" Her hands revealed a glowing light, shining brightly around her hands.
"So you're really going to fight me? You know, you can't run forever, but I can probably have you stop worry about that if you let me freakin' help you," Taini said, hoping to intimidate them by revealing her gunblade. Rather calm, she pointed it at both children and sighed. "You're really making a huge mistake, kids."
~~~~~
But at least she was only 14 still. Remember, other squires weren't even TESTED until they were 18 most of the time. Fenix rolled over in his bed. It wasn't like he'd been slacking either. At the time he had joined, they had only just started training with swords and other weapons. He had spent an entire year in the chapel studying and catching up on knightly code before he became a squire right at the start of real combat training. No matter how she felt of it, the both of them were very skilled and gifted.
Jessica twisted and turned throughout the nap, wondering about how she would be able to surpass Fenix. At the same time, she felt as if she did not truly want to be a leader, but instead being comfortable in second place. She wanted to gain enough strength to be relied on and looked upon. That was all she truly wanted.
It wasn't long before Fenix had fallen to a deep deep slumber. He dreamed of puppy dogs and kitty cats, then of being arse kicked while training as a knight, finally. But at least it was as a knight, right? In any case, he continued to sleep soundly, not knowing what was to come, at least until a knock came on the door several minutes later.
Jessica immediately jumped from her sleep, wondering who it could have been. Blinking, she decided to sit up and walk to the door. Opening it and rubbing her eyes, she asked with a groggy voice, "Wh-who is it...?"
The door was suddenly bolted through by the Fon Master, who was looking around. "Okay, where is... He...?" He asked, seeing Fenix and reddening. "Wow... She's cute..." He mumbled.
Jessica slapped her forehead as she decided to play along with it. "Isn't she?" She asked as she backed away. "That is Jessica, by the way. I would have talked to her of you, but you know, we haven't talked all that much." She shrugged. "Don't worry, we're not together! So what's on your mind, Drake?"
"... Wait..." Drake swung around. "I thought you said that was your name!" He said, pointing at Jessica. "Wait... Does that mean... Oh, by our lady..." He said. "I'm gonna barf..."
It was at that point that Fenix began to awaken. He had practiced it tot he point that he awoke with a very feminine sounding groan.
"... Oh come on..." Drake groaned.
Jessica removed her wig for a moment, but only after shutting the door. "Yeah, yeah..." She whispered quietly as she poked Fenix. "Fenix, get up. It's your brother." She announced before smiling at Drake. "See? Can't tell us apart, can you? Now that the wig is up!" She smirked as she smoothed her hair.
"... You don't look like him." Drake said, but of course, he HAD grown up with Fenix.
"Ngh... What?" Fenix blinked. "Ah!" He exclaimed. "Wait... You told him? When did you tell him?" He asked, scratching the back of his head.
"...I don't look like him at all? Then how did we get to fool... oh never mind. So you're basically saying he's prettier?" Jessica shot at him as she turned to Fenix. "I had to in order to get the stupid wig."
"You couldn't have just... Said you were me and that there was an accident?" Fenix asked, crossing his arms.
"Well... To my defense, my brother looks like more of a girl than you do..." Drake said. "And that disgusts AND sickens me."
"..." Of course Drake was met with a glare. "Of course. So what the hell do you want?" Jessica asked as she folded her arms, tending to fix up the wig as as she took a brush and brushed her own hair back.
"I wanted to make sure that my brother was still alive..." Drake said.
"Well, I am." Fenix said, still speaking girly voice, as he had become accustomed to.
"Ugh... Stop talking like that!" Drake groaned. 'It's WRONG, darn it!'
"Oh shush. What, you afraid that your own brother makes a better girl than guy?" Jessica chuckled at Drake before placing on the wig again. "Well, whatever. He's fine, okay?"
"... Fine!" Drake huffed before he ran off.
Once the door was shut, Fenix spoke up. "What do you suppose that was all about?" He asked.
"I don't know. Probably wanting to spend time with you or something. I haven't really been too keen on him. Royal jerk." Jessica sighed before looking to her gear. "Guess I should go back to training..."
"... I wouldn't be so quick to label him." Fenix said. "I mean... We grew up in an orphanage... The lady there was horrid... Abusive... Smoker... Constantly shouting and freaking out at us..." He sighed. "I mean... Her kid was kidnapped... But that's no excuse for her behavior... And... Well, from what we'd heard, she had always been that way, so the kidnapping was probably justified..." He sighed.
"I would feel very bad for that child to be born from a mother like that. Glad it was kidnapped," Jessica replied as she shrugged. "You're right though. It's just hard, okay? None of us had it easy. That is why most of us joined. To make a name for ourselves and to put the past behind us. I know it is helping me. I have been feeling much stronger. You know what?" She turned around, grinning, "I think I have improved considerably since you have joined. I guess it's kinda because you're my rival or something."
Taking her blade's sheathe and strapping it to her belt, she sighed. "I just have to make it farther. I can't stop now." She told him before opening the door and closing it behind her. She then made her way out, beginning her training for the afternoon.
~~~~~
"I can't wait..." Aria said with a shiver. She gripped his sides gently, closing her eyes. "I hope you're going to satisfy your teacher's expectations." She laughed.
"I hope so. It may be different, but I hope it'll be better." Jace eyed her as he then moved up to kiss her again, then nuzzled her neck, continuing to massage her for a while longer. He then groaned as he then peeled off his clothing, his hand tracing over her mound before playing with the nub gently, his ears red as he decided to slip himself in already, forcing him to bite his lip as he bit her neck again, wondering how she would react to this change of pace.
"Mmmm..." Aria groaned, closing her eyes and flexing her fingers. "Oh, you're being quite forward today..." She groaned. As her neck was bitten, she shivered involuntarily, smiling. "And a little rough too, hm?"
"Just a little, but that's where I only want to go. Just a little." Jace shivered as he began to move inside her, his hands clenching onto her shoulders as he continued to nibble at her neck, his body brushing up against hers with each stroke. "T-this was a great idea..." He breathed as he then kissed her neck, then her mouth.
"Mmff..." Aria laughed through the kiss. 'Aren't we feeling a bit self complimentary?' She thought to herself, suddenly feeling just a little off.
Jace blushed a little as he pulled at her back so that she was on top, though he continued to do all the work, his breaths heavy as he continued, "And I have to thank you for your great idea. I haven't felt this good before..." He smiled as he bit at her neck again. I know you probably don't want me to say this aloud... but I am sorry for being a complete dick to you. He thought.
"What... Ever... Do you mean?" Aria asked as her chest heaved up and down, puffing out with each breath. "I told you... This is your... Test... D-daaaaaaaaaaaaaddy..." She said oddly.
Jace raised his brows, wondering why she said such a thing. "Daddy? Wait, are you calling me that?" He blinked, a little confused and weirded out by her word. Nevertheless, he continued to move and kiss her until he reached his own peak and ejaculated inside of the woman. And she was completely right earlier. He did feel incredibly relaxed once he did, though he continued to move faster and deeper for Aria, hoping to 'get a good grade'.
"Mmmm..." Aria groaned, closing her eyes. 'I see... So... That's... I must be... Like that again... Oh, it's been so long...' She thought to herself, resting her head on his shoulder.
Jace, surprised for a moment, placed a hand onto the back of her head while wrapping an arm around her body. Smiling warmly, he actually felt safe and wanted. He then closed his eyes, his body having grown limp from the exhaustion. "Good night Aria..." He whispered.
"G'night..." Aria sighed, closing her eyes. She found herself utterly tired for whatever reason, and soon fell to a quiet, if not riddled with bizarre dreams, sleep.
Jace curled up against her, having been asleep throughout the entire night. He seemed very calm when he awoke, then he breathed in deeply, feeling very refreshed. He then gently shook Aria by the shoulder, then yawned. "Morning..." He mumbled as he rubbed his eyes. "I'm ready..." He breathed.
"Are you, really?" Aria asked. She stretched a little, then stood, heading to the bathroom with a smile. "Be right back." She whispered, shutting the door. If one listened closely, wrenching noises could be heard.
Jace tilted his head, wondering what was going on, AGAIN, but decided against it, knowing full well that he had to be ready for the battle. Dressing, he then walked up to the door, feeling very concerned anyway. "You okay? No lacy anything, right?"
"I was naked, and I didn't bring in anything." Aria pointed out. She then came out, wearing a towel, then dressed herself. "Ready to go find your little villain?" She asked.
Jace nodded, feeling rather confident in himself. He wondered if it was Aria's doing, but he felt actually ready to defeat D, no matter what it took. He then walked out with her, paid for everything, and walked out, noticing Glenn and Anna on the way. With a wave, he walked up to them. "Ready?" He asked, his eyebrows furrowed to suggest apprehension.
~~~~~
'Nnnn...' The summoner groaned slightly, wiggling on him. 'It's good... It's soooooooo good...' She motioned, letting her tongue flap out a little, as if like a dog who needed to cool off a little.
Glenn nodded, wanting to chuckle at her reaction as he gripped her hips and pushed her further down on him, then pulled them up so that he gained his grounding. "Man, imagine once we are done. Just live our lives, just like this..." Beginning to move with the flow of the act, he placed his chin on her chest with his eyes appearing innocent as he gazed up at her.
'Just... like this?' Anna asked, her eyes lighting up. 'You mean... Doing this all the time? That would be just WONDERFUL!' She motioned. All the while, she started to move her hips, grinding into him. 'I just... Oh, it would be so amazing... Doing this without any worry at all... Just spending all our time on it... THAT would be a dream come true!'
"Hehe, you are an addict, aren't you?" Glenn chimed in as he placed his hands on top of her back, pushing her down as he shuddered at her movements. Reaching her earlobe, he began to nibble hungrily at it as his chest and torso pressed against her own breasts and body. "But not just that... well, doing whatever comes to our mind. Even traveling or... even settling down or something someday." He rapidly blushed at the thought.
'But... We'll just have time... No requirements or reservations... Right?' Anna asked, looking up in a gasping motion. 'And... I just... This... With you... Augh...' She started to heave just a little.
"What about with me?" Glenn continued to hold her close as he raised his brows. "I mean, you seriously don't want me just for this... do you?" He blinked as he felt himself growing closer, his hands on her hips as he placed his head once again on her chest.
'Noooooooo....' Anna groaned. 'But this is... Just... The most wonderful feeling...' She said, clinging to him. 'I never want to share this feeling with anyone else... I only want it from you.'
Glenn smiled widely as he understood what she was trying to tell him. He kissed her twice as he groaned himself, his hands holding her. "Y-yeah, I only want it from you too. No one else. I can't even begin to tell you how much I only want it from you," He whispered before feeling himself shoot into her, feeling fatigue suddenly creep onto him, though he did not stop for his lover. Hopefully you and I will be able to be together after this... Yulia protect us...
'Ah... Me... Too...' The summoner motioned, breathing heavily and making small gasps, reaching her peak. 'Forever... We're gonna win... And then we'll be... Happy for a long time!' She said with a smile, closing her eyes, ready to return to sleep.
"Y-yeah!" Glenn smiled back, then placed her gently into the bed before throwing the blankets over them. He then brought her into a hug, yawning, since he finally felt tired. "Tomorrow... I'll finally be able to make up for that mistake. Feels like it's been forever since it happened..."
Anna's eyes shot open suddenly. She shook her head as if wailing, 'Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!' Of course she couldn't let him ever make up for his mistake, otherwise, he might leave. She would have to let D live and somehow make Glenn feel like it was his fault, no matter how much she needed to stop D.
Glenn blinked, seeing her reaction. "No...?" He asked as he grasped her by the shoulders. "What do you mean? I mean, do you not want me to kill her? Should we not bother?" He asked as he stroked her cheek. "What are you afraid of, Anna?"
'Nothing!' Anna lied quickly, closing her eyes. 'Just go to sleep. Sleep now for big fight in the morning!' She said, speaking like she was a cave person for some reason. 'Sleeeeeep. You are very super sleeeeeepy!' She said. I can't let him go...
"Um, okay..." Glenn replied as he snuggled back into her, smiling as he clung like a small child, his purrs only adding onto the feeling. It was early morning by the time he woke up, and with a stretch, he peered at the window. "Yulia, it's bright..." He breathed as he then kissed Anna's cheek, then stood up and dressed. "Hey, it's time to go. The earlier we get this done, the earlier we can celebrate, right?"
'Um...' Anna groaned, awakening. 'R-right.' She said in affirmation, though still worried of what would happen when they finished.
Glenn yawned and stretched before kissing the woman on the cheek. He then dressed and before long both were ready. They walked out, seeing Jace and Aria, and when they all caught up with each other, the four moved forward, hoping to encounter her. Glenn soon reached the center of Werites Beacon, feeling suddenly sick to his stomach. I suddenly have a horrible feeling... He clenched his hands, turning his head around. "Anna, is she around in this area?"
"She better be. We can't spend all day chasing her," Jace pointed out as he folded his arms.
"We probably wouldn't have a chance to spend all day if she wipes Werites out. We may not get lucky here." Glenn replied as his breaths grew shallow, his hands prepared with his gloves and the necklace shining brightly, ready to be used.
'I don't know.' Anna said. 'I mean... Origin only mentioned a calamity here... But he won't say any more... It's kinda annoying.' She sighed.
"Haven't any of you been paying attention?" Aria asked from behind her book suddenly, much to the surprise of everyone. "The signs have all been mentioning her concert at the fountain today, have they not?" She asked, not even looking away from the book.
"Yeah, but..." Glenn turned around, seeing many people having poured and gathered at the fountain. He then walked over, shoving several people to the side, since he couldn't see at all due to his height. "Damn, already started..." He breathed as he heard the announcer, whose voice was booming over the entire square.
"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! Who stands before you is a beautiful, young teen idol, here to make history at Werites Beacon! We have been honored to host one of her wonderful concerts, and finally all of you will be able to experience what the world has been hearing! I bring you the angelic D!!!"
Glenn grit his teeth as he tried to stand onto his tiptoes, but it was no use, as many people were still taller than he. He thought of extending his shoes with alchemy, but it would just look silly, and it would give away the fact that he was an alchemist out to kill D.
Jace, who easily stood tall among the crowd, peered at the stage, knowing full well that at the first glimpse of D his blood would be boiling. Just the mere sight of her sickened him. "Dammit..." He breathed as his hand fumbled around with a knife in his pocket. You will die today, you stupid half elf. This is for the future of my village... This time I won't be picking on you, either!!!!
The moment she appears, I have to attack. If she notices any of us, it could be a failed mission. But it is four... no, three, against one. Hopefully. But I have this giant pit in my stomach. I can't lose. Glenn then lowered his head for a moment, his thoughts moving beyond the joyous screams and shouts heard in the background. I can't lose you, Anna. I don't know what'd I do if... He shook his head. Gotta put one hundred percent into it! It is either now or never, and I'm taking you down, you spiteful little bitch!!!
~~~~~
Derrick, of course, sighed. "Great... So he's not here... Ugh, where could he be?" He asked. "I really hope that he isn't dead... We haven't seen or heard from him in 7 months... No matter how much of a horrible person he is... He's still our son! DAMN YOU SERENADE!"
"MOM!" Taini shouted, still hearing no response. "She is such a freakin' coward." She muttered before folding her arms, none to happy with her mother. They traveled from city to city, finding no hints as to where Alma or their son could be, and the further they covered ground, the more worried Taini became. Before long, they came to Werites, having wondered if their son could have wandered there, possibly wondering about his greatgrandparents that his parents spoke often of.
"Tch..." Derrick groaned, eventually reaching the duct entrance with his wife. "... Hey... Do you think we'll find him today?" He asked with a sigh, looking around and wondering what route they should have taken. The city had, by this point, been searched from top to bottom, and all they had left now was to search the outer reaches of the ship.
"I wonder if we can... How long has it been?" Taini asked as she looked around as well, then sighed. "Guess we have no choice but to check out the Oresoren of the village..." Shrugging, she then decided to head out of Werites and travel along the paths found on the Legacy. "I never thought about it, but the Legacy is a HUGE place." She told him.

"Like I care!" Zach said, swinging his knives. "I said I don't need help, and I meant it!" He huffed, not happy at the threats. "This is for our happiness... We don't need anyone watching over us! We're adults too!" He shouted with the fury of a mountain. A VOLCANO MOUNTAIN.
"Yeah, and yet your maturity level is proudly expressing itself right now." Taini pointed out, blocking the knives rather easily with her gunblade and throwing a sweeping kick at Zach's feet. "You can return to being happy go la la in a bit! Just hear me out!"
"I don't vant to!" Just then Alma shot a blast at Taini, who casually sidestepped with such speed that it appeared that she hardly moved.
Taini merely stretched and yawned. "You're dealing with the wrong person."
Just then she was rushed at by Alma, who ran as fast as possibly with both hands aimed at Taini. "HAAA!"
BONK! Taini sidestepped again just as Alma was about to blast her face, then threw the hilt of the gunblade into the back of Alma's head, immediately flooring her.
"This isn't a game," Taini said in all seriousness, her tone grave. "Look, something terrible is happening to my family, and you two could be next. If you want to be spoiled little brats, then fine, but you better realize there is much at stake at the moment." She said as she knelt down at the groaning and pained Alma.
"Nozhing... but a... liar..." Alma rolled over in pain as she whimpered.
"If I was liar, I would do more than kick your ass."
"Ugh..." Zach groaned from the ground. "I don't care... We don't need your help!" He said, standing back up. "I said we can handle ourselves!" He said, getting between Taini and Alma, hopefully at a moment of inattentiveness from the older woman. "HA!" He shouted.
Only to be blasted back with fire. "Can't let you do that, Star Fox Kid!" Derrick said, having cast the offending spell.
Taini leaped back, then took off her bracelet. "Fine, then I'll just have to knock you out and drag you to Grand Chokmah." Leaping into the air, she performed a front flipped, her blade over her head. Throwing it into the ground, she immediately pulled the trigger, sending rubble flying at the duo. In a mere millisecond, Alma had gone from conscious to being covered in rubble, easily knocked out.
~~~~~
"Rival?" Fenix asked, standing and stretching. "Yeah... I guess that works." He said. "But I won't fall behind either!" He said, grabbing his tools to go and train as well.
The next few days had passed, with Jessica going about her daily duties. One day she had heard gossip among the male knights, though she was going about sweeping the floors, which was an occasional job for her.
"So, heard that D is having a concert! Man, I can't get enough of her!"
"Yeah, I know! I mean, she may be a pop singer, but damn she's good! And a hottie to boot!"
I wish I had attention like that... Jessica sighed as she swept as well.
"Hey, what do you think of her Fenix? Unless you're too good for her!" One of the knights asked Jessica.
Jessica cringed, though she answered in a calm manner. "I'm not too good for her. I just think she's out of my league. I mean, yeah, she's beautiful, but she is just a singer. Why not go for a girl here? I bet they are stronger than she is."
"Hahaha, man kid, you have a lot to learn. You'll see when you'll grow up. Trust me, when your hormones are raging and you see the hottest woman on the planet, you'll get a hard-on faster than you can say 'D'."
"Gag me." Jessica whispered.
"What was that?"
"I just feel sick... sorry." Men... can't even fall for women around here?
Meanwhile, Fenix. Er... Meanwhile, Fenix was out training alone until all KITs were called to the chapel hall. As it were, there were 14 new KITs that day, Fenix and Jessica included. They were soon grouped into room assignments, most of them 2 males or 2 females, the aforementioned two aside, since they were already assigned oddly.
"Recruits, you are all to go on your first solo assignment. Each of your parties is to slay one star wolf." The leading knight said. "There is NO working with other groups. Be wary, since wolves travel in packs. You are expected to separate one wolf from the group and slay it, then return it before the pack returns. That is the best strategy if you want to survive. Dismissed!"
Jessica looked to Fenix for a moment, feeling antsy at the response. "Right, guess we are to slay some wolves, huh? Think we can handle it?" She asked, feeling her voice crack due to nervousness. "Man, never have gone through this before. We could possibly get killed, huh?" She asked, her eyes to her feet suddenly.
~~~~~
'I wonder what to have for supper.' Aria thought to herself, turning a page on her book, naturally taking things VERY seriously. She wouldn't be apathetic, no, not her, never!
As soon as D appeared on stage, there was a sudden outshoot of summon spirits. 'GRAB HER!' Anna motioned, swinging her staff as people started to panic.
"Anna!!!" Glenn cried out before being literally trampled by the crowd that was screaming. "GAH!!" Before long he was caught in the waves, being dragged off before he could do any alchemy. "Dammit, dammit, dammit! Anna, what are you doing?"
Jace grit his teeth, also caught off guard, though he quickly dismissed it. Now's my chance! He thought as he weaved beztween the people, his knife held out at his side as he sprinted toward D. YOU'RE MINE!!! He then jumped at the stage, throwing his knife at D's neck before revealing a second knife. Without seeing the result, he landed onto the stage and darted at D with his knife held at his side to stab her in the gut with, his skills as a thief proved to show itself as he used his thin body to increase his speed. DIE!!!!
"Anna! Fuck!!!" Glenn cried out as he found himself bowled over onto the ground. Immediately he clapped his hands and placed them at the cobblestone, shattering it and allowing himself to fall silently. Landing onto his feet, he dashed to where he calculated the stage stood. "I hope you're doing okay..."
With a frown, he glanced upward, knowing that D was the only one on the stage. Especially if he acted this fast. Running about one hundred feet away, he managed to hide behind a wall to ensure that he would be safe. Of course, mistakes can always repeat itself, especially when mother and son share the same traits. With a clap of the hands, he placed them onto the ground, creating a rune that glowed brightly.
"Huh!?" Someone was heard from above, but Glenn couldn't hear. Out of nowhere, pillars shot from the ground and smashed directly into the stage, causing the entire set to collapse, sending both D and Jace to the ground.
Among the rubble and after a loud pained cry, Jace found himself pinned under several large pieces of equipment and brick, which forced him to struggle, especially when he noticed his two blades near him. "Come on..." Jace groaned, feeling pain shoot up through his body as he tried to wriggle free, but to no avail. Gotta get out of this mess and finish her off...
Aria suddenly looked down, seeing Jace pinned, then put down her book, starting to walk forward, only to see D standing.
"Ugh... Piece of shit..." D said, seeing Jace. "You're alive? Ugh... I hated you most of all." She said, reaching for her left arm, where one of the thrown knives had implanted itself, removing it. "DIE!" She said, lowering the knife hard into his chest.
"NO!" Came a feminine shout. Suddenly D was VAPORIZED without a chance to do anything else, a charred track of energy where she had stood.
Aria ran over to Jace. 'Please... Be okay...' She thought, kneeling before him.
'W-what just happened?' Anna motioned, shocked as she dismissed the summon spirits.
Glenn also blinked, also shocked. She could have done that...? He thought as he took a step forward, seeing Jace heave. He froze, wondering if his healing artes would have helped, but with a wound like that...
It just wasn't possible.
It appeared to have struck the heart, but barely allowing Jace to live, just for a little longer.
Vision blurred, Jace glanced up at Aria, laughing suddenly, though it was taking much energy to do so. "Wow... thought so..." He breathed, "You're a lot stronger than you look..."
Immediately Glenn ran over, his heart thumping due to his fear. "Hey, save your energy okay? You may have a chance!"
Jace looked to Glenn, his breaths growing shallower. "Oh shut it, Glenn... I'm fine. That stupid... half-elf bitch is finally dead... finally relieved..."
"Please, you're delirious..." Glenn frowned.
"I'm... just tired, okay? Did I do..." Jace heaved, coughing up blood. "Did I do... well... teac..." Suddenly his hand fell limp, his head turned to the side. Glenn grimaced, then shook his head, taking a few steps back. "No..."

Of course, they weren't going to get off easy. No, he wasn't going to get any peace. Light became darkness, as if the sun was blocked out, a black moon rising as well. Energy crackled about around them, Aria not even getting to say anything to Jace before a figure appeared behind them.
"... I hadn't imagined this would happen." Came a deep voice.
'W-what is that?' Anna asked, blinking.
Glenn whirled around, taking a step back. "What... what are you?" He breathed, feeling very frightened suddenly. Cold and ill, he felt nothing but pain and confusion, unable to do much of anything. Yulia, this... this energy... He thought as he neared Anna.
~~~~~
"The idea is you do this right, and you WON'T get yourselves killed." The knight said, walking off.
"... I... Think we can..." Fenix said, crossing his arms. "Um... But I guess we should get..." He started, only to see the sky go black. "What the hell?" He asked, looking up.
"Huh? Hey..." Jessica blinked, looking up as well. "The moon... W-we should check it out! Screw the wolves!" She cried out as she ran out of the barracks to take a good look at the moon.
~~~~~
Zach was all but knocked out, barely standing. Suddenly, he seemed to take on a more serious expression. "Taini. Stop. Now." He commanded, right before the sky went black. "... No... That's..." He muttered.
"Huh?" Taini sheathed her blade, blinking as she felt a twinge. "Grandpa...?" Suddenly stepping back, she turned around and vomited after taking a sudden whiff. The mana... this is unreal! It's too much... Taini thought as she attempted to hold down her stomach.
Alma groaned, stirring awake as she noticed the moon. "Oh... fuck. Well now, guess we have a bit of trouble on our hands..." Standing onto her feet, she looked to Taini, Zach and Derrick. "Total family reunion, eh pup?" She asked Taini, whose eyes appeared dilated. "Y-yeah..." Taini smiled, hardly able to take the scent. Of course she had to curse her mother for the strengthened ability, though her grandmother began it. Alma merely walked up to the woman and patted her on the head. Stepping back, she bit her lip before announcing, "Okay, I jus' wanted to get this off my chest, but yea... we could be fucked. Do either of ya remember Solstice...?"
~~~~~
"... Hey, how are you feeling, dear?" Irvine asked that day, holding his wife as they were on their walk. Of course she was preggeh bellied, since she was preggeh. That was when the black moon arrived.
"...I feel heavier than ever but..." Ai glanced upward for a moment, then gasped, turning away from it and closing her eyes. "Sunglasses..." She mumbled, suddenly afraid of what was to come. Have to keep my eyes closed.
~~~~~
Mai-Fei looked up, suddenly feeling cold. "Oh Yulia... I screwed up..." She mumbled.
Tsune was sitting on the grass outside, noticing the black moon. "Huh? Mai-Fei... you alright?" She asked with a silent yawn as she stood onto her feet. What's with the moon?

"Sunglasses?" Irvine blinked. "No... I don't have a clue where they are..." He said, looking at her. "Ugh... I don't like this feeling..." he mumbled. "But..." He went into Seraphim, only to realize something. "I... Can't teleport." He mumbled.
~~~~~
"I don't know... But mom said... If it ever happened... I... I..." Mai-Fei seemed entranced, staring at the moon.
~~~~~
"The god who died before the world was screwed up? What about him?" Derrick asked.
"This energy... He's back, and he's a bit worse than before." Zach said rather bluntly.
~~~~~
"Yulia... What's going on?" Fenix asked, suddenly very concerned. "We uh... I think we should head back to the chapel... I have a really bad feeling about this..." he said.
~~~~~
"... Damn..." Aria said with nearly no voice. "RUN!" She shouted at Anna and Glenn, blasting the source of the voice with an even larger blast than the one fired upon D.
"... Elf? Hm... Amusing..." The imposing figure said, standing 6'5, long golden hair, aquamarine colored eyes, and vaguely tanned skin, he seemed to be wearing the most basic of cloth garments in warm colors. "Nobody here will leave alive." He said.
'... I refuse!' Anna said, summoning the spirits once more.
"A summoner?" The man asked, raising a brow as he was charged. "No matter." He said, blasting the spirits and Anna with sheer force.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!" Anna exclaimed, flying backward and slamming into a building, crushing it.

"NO!!! ARIA, GO!" Glenn screamed as he realized they were no match. Listening to Aria, he sprinted for Anna, unsealing his wings and soaring. Grasping her by the body, though gently, he swerved ahead. "I told you I can't lose you..." Glenn whimpered, though he did not try to show it. Like a bullet and fearing for his life, seeing the power, he fled Werites as fast as he could, "ARIA! Please be safe!!!" He shouted at the top of his lungs, feeling an overpowering feeling in his body. What is going on?
~~~~~
"Jus' a bit? Fer the love of anythin', don't sugarcoat it!" Alma replied with a surprise. "It's MUCH worse! MUCH MUCH! We ain't standin' a chance here..." She sighed, wondering what the action should be. "Gary, as much as I really want to head into battle, I want to get outta here. We... They... WHOEVER can't die a second time!!" She grimaced as she sense a growth of power exponentially.
"Grandma... are you serious?" Taini asked as she unsealed her wings, this time all eight, hoping that it would ease the nausea. However, it only became worse, causing her to feel slightly delirious. "W-we gotta go Derrick..." She mumbled before picking him up, knowing that in this mode she and out fly the fastest rheiard.
~~~~~
"Yeah, we need to know what to do. Everyone must know about this right now," Jessica replied as she bit her lip. "This could be SO bad..." She then turned around and headed for the chapel.
~~~~~
Tsune placed a hand on Mai-Fei's shoulder, suddenly worried. "Mai-Fei... I'm worried about you. Can't we go inside or something?" She asked with a frown.
~~~~~
Ai groaned, feeling a pain shoot throughout her body. "Irvy... I... augh!" She cried out as she gripped her head, feeling her wings suddenly reveal themselves, glowing obsidian. Eyes black, she felt herself suffering from pain accompanied with crying in the back of her mind.

"Dammit..." Irvine groaned. He held the woman, "It'll be ok... Urk..." He groaned, realizing one small huge problem: She had been bleeding mana, and due to their link, the mana was bleeding right into him, and while he couldn't be effected by lune noir, he could damn well be poisoned by it. 'That's why I can't teleport... But maybe... I can control her... She won't attack me if I'm in that state like she is... Maybe it'll protect me... And I can protect everyone else...' He coughed, spitting up a little blood. "Come on, Ai... We're going home..."
~~~~~
Mai-Fei, however, threw Tsune aside, unsealing her wings, both of them the same black as her mother's.
~~~~~
"Could be... This is... There's no way this COULDN'T be bad!" Fenix pointed out, running into the chapel, seeing everyone in a panic, local scholars babbling about ancient calamities and something called 'Lune Noir'.
~~~~~
"Yeah..." Derrick said, running to the rheiard, starting it. "... Dammit... Should we... Should we see what it is?" He asked. "No... It's probably for the best that we don't..." He said.
"... I would love to flee as well... but unfortunately... There's a small problem with my body..." Zach sighed. "The composition is off... I'm half elf here... More human than anything... The tattoo hasn't surfaced yet."
~~~~~
"..." The man seemed unamused by the ordeal, simply beginning in Glenn's direction.
Of course, Anna was rendered unconscious by the blow, but she was clearly breathing, obviously uninjured, thankfully.
"No!" Aria said, blasting the man again and again and again, only for nothing to happen.

Alma sighed with depression as she gazed at Zach. "Great, jus' great. Well, guess I'll have to carry ya." She mumbled before picking the man up. "That's a really weird composition, though! Either way, let's get goin'! Make it to some safe house... an' looks like Werites isn't the place to go. Alright, to... Taini's house? Ya have a home, right pup?"
Taini, shook her head as she clung to her husband. "It is best... Just smelling it makes me want to throw up. Nothing has ever made me this sick..." She mumbled before crying out to Alma, "Yes, I have a home! Let's just hurry, okay!?"
"'Kay! Wait, since when did ya speak with emotion?" Alma blinked as Taini sighed. "Oh, about 20 or so years ago."
"Has it really been that long? Geez..."
~~~~~
Glenn continued to flee, fear creeping into his throat. He flew as fast as he could, realizing that the faster he went, the closer he was to completely blacking out. Was it the speed? What was it? What was this?
"C'mon, gotta win this!" He breathed, feeling mana glow about his body. "Where is Ela when you need her?" He groaned, knowing his sister has been gone for months, having been resting in her original place. He continued to flap his wings, which began to darken the further he flew. Well, at least you can get away Aria. Just... gotta make sure Anna is safe.
~~~~~
"...Yeah, I'm starting to think this is probably something that could end the world. Geez, what a morbid thought," Jessica replied as she ran into the chapel, wondering who to turn to.
~~~~~
"Mai-Fei!" Tsune tried to grasp onto the woman, but to no avail. "No... dammit!" Kicking the ground, she then dashed off onto the ground, hoping to find a rheiard. "What do I do?"
~~~~~
Ai shook her head, groaning her words, "I can't go home..." She breathed. "I need to eradicate everything... This world is in pain. Everyone must perish... That was why we were born. The true reason." She explained in an airy tone. "To act as guardians. To help when there is help needed. I must. Humanity and gods alike must be annihilated in order for Carleon to be at peace." With new found strength, she shoved Irvine away, then lifted her body into the air.

Irvine gritted his teeth and unsealed his wings. "Ai... Listen to yourself..." He mumbled, gripping to her. "We're here to protect the others..." He said. "That's what our strength is for..." He mumbled. 'Could you even talk the last time?' He thought. 'No... Only I can here her...' He thought. 'And the poison... That's it... Isn't it...?' "Hey... Just... Come with me, okay?" He tried to suggest.
~~~~~
Mai-Fei, of course, unsealed her wings and started to fly, blasting randomly while not speaking a word.
~~~~~
"... No kidding..." Fenix said.
"You two! Are you knights?" A priest asked.
"Uh..." Fenix said. "Yeah, but we're ju-"
"Doesn't matter! You two head to the squire's quarters! Make sure everyone's safe!"
~~~~~
Anna groaned. 'W-what is that...' She motioned weakly, delirious. 'Hurts...'
~~~~~
"I think there may be something a bit more pressing..." Zach sighed.
"More pressing... What?" Derrick asked with a blink. "What are you talking about?" he asked.
"A damaged Raine is coming this way." Zach said.

Glenn held Anna closer to him, wondering what was going on. "I'm sorry... I need to get you somewhere safe..." He whispered before flying faster, his body glowing brightly as the aura lapped around him. It was strange, but soon white flickers appeared around him, just as he felt sharp pains in his body. Wondering what was going on, he then cried out an arte. "Barrier!" He cried, surrounding Anna with the barrier as his body soon became demon-like, with the aura and his body taking the shape of a beast. Fangs protruding, he flapped onward, able to gain more speed. "What is this...?" He breathed as he swooped suddenly over his parents and Zach and Alma, not having noticed them.
~~~~
"Not only that..." Alma glanced upward as she flew on. "Fuck... A demonata? Who?"
Taini sniffed the air, knowing who it was. "My son..."
"You have a son!?"
"Two."
"...Well whatevs. We have to get goin'. I'm surprised a Raine is even around. I mean, come on, they have been nearly nonexistent."
"Well, Ai is apparent-" Just then Taini was cut off by a powerful blast of black. Luckily the woman swerved, barely missing it.
~~~~
"Sir!" Jessica immediately responded before turning around and running toward the Squire Quarters. "Hey, Jess! Gotta hurry here!" She cried out.
~~~~
Tsune cursed as she noticed the blasts, feeling incredibly useless. "I hate it... What's going on? I don't know what to do..." Just then she suddenly fell through grass and through a hole with a loud cry. With a loud thud, Tsune immediately blacked out, her body having landed against the ground.
~~~~
"I will not." Ai announced as she then tore away Irvine's arm again, then kicked him away. That was when she noticed Zach and the others, and they were going to be her first targets. Firing a blast at the group, she continued forward, ready to annihilate all of them.

Irvine groaned and swerved through the air, removing his bracelet, though still feeling sick. "Ai... Stop this... Now..." He said, grabbing her wrists. He realized that he couldn't see or hear anything else. At least not as what it was. He couldn't identify others, he couldn't see anyone, he couldn't hear anyone. Except Ai. Oh, and the other person who was rapidly approaching. "Is that... No..." He mumbled.
~~~~~
"Dammit... That's Ai..." Zach said, glad nobody had been hurt. "But... I have a question... Who are the other two being afflicted by it... One has Raine energy... But the other just seems to be completely bathed in it, but... Not a Raine.
"Oh crap, that's Mai-Fei!" Derrick said.
"Your what now?" Zach asked.
~~~~~
"Right!" Fenix said, running out as a figure suddenly appeared in front of the chapel. "Wait... Who the hell is..." He said, only to fall to his feet, insane energy smashing him to the ground.
~~~~~
'Ah... What's... Going on?' Anna motioned, feeling incredibly frightened by everything that was occurring at this point.
"FENIX!" Jessica cried out as she looked to the figure, afraid of the man suddenly. Quickly she turned tail and ran for Fenix. Dragging him, she hoped to make it to the exit, wondering if she would be able to get out of the way. She couldn't risk her life. Was this cowardice?
"Can't... Move..." Fenix said. All he could do was watch the man in the cloth garb approach the chapel. "Wait... We have to stop him..." He groaned.
"You will not pass!" Came a voice. An old man appeared before the other.
"Hm... Ah... It is you." The aggressor said.
"You... Solstice... How did you-" The old man said, only to have a hand struck through him.
"You are mistaken." The younger man said. "I am a remnant of his soul, yes... But I am not he. I am stronger than Solstice."
"Urgh... How..."
"Call me... Equinox. I'll usher forward the end of times now, so please, stand aside, or better yet..." The man said, light appearing around the old man. "I think I'll be taking your power now."
"WHAT!?" Jessica cried out as she continued to tug. She then suddenly let go, seeing the light surrounding the old man. She then dashed at Equinox. "LEAVE HIM BE!!!!" She screamed as she revealed her sword, raised high above her head to slash him.
This time, however, Fenix Grabbed her, pulling her back. "We need to... We can't win..." He mumbled, the both of them being blasted back once more as Exinox entered the chapel.
"W-what?" Came a familiar voice.
"Fon master, run!' Came another.
"Hmph. It's time to nip this threat in the bud." Equinox spoke, moving straight for blasting.
Jessica was in pain, unable to move, though her eyes were open to witness the event. "N-no..." She mouthed weakly as she watched Equinox encounter Fenix's brother. He is going... Gotta... stop...
Too late. Blasting happened. "Hmph... Pathetic..." Equinox said, just as Fenix blacked out from shock. "What a waste of time. Now what? The world? This is all a joke."
Jessica slowly blacked out as well, her body remaining weak as she heard Equinox's words. No...
~~~~
Glenn shook his head, feeling glad that he was no longer trailed. He then found a forest, then swooped down having landed. Placing her onto the ground and against the tree, Glenn turned around and sniffed the air, his tail curling, though it was clear that he was in pain from white's and black's conflict. "Stay here." He told Anna, knowing she would be safe. "I need to see if my family is okay." He then fell onto all fours, taking in mana scents from everywhere.
'N-No!' Anna said, grabbing him. 'I need to watch you, you big... You... YOU BIG STUPID!' She huffed, though feeling weak and tired. 'I don't want you to get hurt, dammit!' She said.
Glenn grimaced, feeling pain again as he wanted to tug and flee, thanks to his instincts. But instead he turned around and faced her, red eyes meeting hers. "I am already pained... what do I do if my family dies? What about Aria? What about any of them...?" He shook his head, now sitting on his haunches.
'Won't they be fine? They can handle themselves! But I don't want to lose YOU!' Anna pleaded. 'Just don't leave me here!'
"...I feel guilty as it is..." Glenn shook his head, his snout sniffing at her. "I won't leave you here... What do you even want me to do?" He asked before seething, a flare of white surrounding him. "GAH!"
'I don't know!' Anna said, still nervous about everything. 'There's got to be something that can be done, right...? We've just got to go together, okay?"
"Right." Glenn nodded as he then picked up the woman with his teeth and lifted her rather easily. Placing her onto his back with a flip, he flew on with incredible speed back to Werites. "Gotta make sure that Aria wasn't killed by him. Dammit, it was my fault..." He breathed, referring to Jace.
'... No... Everyone rushed in... It was messy... We should have tried to plan... And... That guy... Whatever he was...' Anna said. 'Why did he show up?'
"I-I don't know..." Glenn sniffed the ground like a bloodhound hoping to find its target. Aria being that target. "ARIA!" Glenn cried out as he shook his head. "There's just... no way..." Standing tall on all of his fours, he let out a roar that shook the trees.
~~~~
"Your great granddaughter." Taini pointed out as she was suddenly bowled over by Ai, who she chose as the first target. "Gah!" With a cry, she suddenly lost her balance and fell, and she looked up to see Irvine holding back Ai. "So bizarre..." She thought as she continued downward. "Lune Noir?" She then swerved, just before she hit the ground, and sailed upward. "Damn... we can't stop her like this! She'll keep going unless we kill her... and we can't do that!" Taini replied.
"More great grandpups? What the fuck?" Alma replied as she hovered for a moment. "Fuck it, I don't want to deal with it. I jus' wanted to not deal with family brawls, and drink some nasty tea ya like so much." She sighed, glaring at Zach before taking off again in a different direction already.
"Wait, you're seriously leaving them there?" Zach asked. "Could we maybe try to do something to help them hold back the insa-" He was cut off by a wild girl nearly smashing his face off. "Great granddaughter... Right."
"Moooooooom... Those things... They're making such irritating noises... It hurts my ears!" Mai-Fei said, not that anyone could hear her. "How do I make them stop!?"
"Don't!" Irvine said, still holding Ai, despite still feeling sick. "Look, they're still people... You aren't in the right mind now..." He said. "Just... Calm down."
"It won't stop... I WANT THE NOISES TO STOP! MOOOOM!" Mai-Fei said, still attacking the source of the hated noise.
Alma fell back as well, having been practically bowled over by the girl. "Gary, careful!" She cried as she continued to hold Zach. "Oi, wanna be let down?" She asked as she swooped downward, feeling as though fighting with a footing may be to their advantage.
Meanwhile Ai stopped for a moment. "Humanity must be wiped out. Angelus are only weapons to serve Carleon!!!" She howled. "Mai-Fei, just rid of him if you wish to! Kill him!" She then tugged, hoping to escape. "Irvine, leave me be!!"
Taini, grimacing, held onto her husband. "What do we do? Dammit... if we get involved... I don't want to accidentally kill her..."
"Ugh..." Irvine groaned, suddenly dragging Ai off and tackling his daughter. "Dammit... Just cover your ears... Count to ten... Just ignore it... Something... Ai, you're not in any better shape... Look... You aren't weapons..." He continued, coughing up a little blood. "Stop trying to fight... Ugh... Ai... Maybe we can put this energy into something more productive, huh?" He asked.
"Ugh! BUT IT'S KILLING ME! THIS NOISE!"
"Irvine, stop!!!" Ai roared as she flailed, though she was growing weaker by the minute, as she was underneath trees that disallowed the moon to penetrate. "This energy can only be used for what we were made for!"
Alma leaped back, shaking her head. "Okay, we can go. Irvine has it handled! So let's get to someplace and actually get a plan out..." She then unsealed her wings as Taini looked back at her brother. "R-right. We should hurry."
"So... Run, right?" Zach asked, looking at Alma. "Hey, kid. Don't get yourself killed, okay?" He asked before they all fled.
"MOM! HELP!" Mai-Fei screamed. "LET GO, DAD!"
"No... We weren't made for anything... Ai... Mai-Fei... We choose our own paths... Ai, remember the last time this happened... You were able to stop it... Just... Try and stop it again... Come back to me."
Ai glanced upward to see no moon, but instead shade. Weaker and weaker she felt, as if she was fighting it, though control was beginning to waver as cables shot from her hands, reaching for anything involuntarily. "I... It's hard... It hurts... Everything hurts..."
Of course, what was in range but her hubby? Nothing, that's what. "Yeah... I know..." Irvine muttered, breathing for a second, his grip on his daughter loosening for a second.
"MUST DESTROY THE NOISE!" Mai-Fei said, fleeing.
"Urgh... No!" Irvine said, forcing himself back up and out of the shade to chase the wild child.
Just then he was wrapped in cables, as he was the only thing that they could attach to. Ai felt herself suddenly dragged like a rag doll, her energy completely drained as her unborn child managed to slow her down. In fact, the woman felt so exhausted that she closed her eyes, not giving a damn as to what happened.
~~~~
"...Dammit, that feeling..." Serenade peered out the window, stepping back. "There... there's no point..." She mumbled, glancing at the floor as she grimaced, feeling greatly weakened.
"Huh? What's up?" John asked, blinking. Why's he tied up in a chair? Don't ask, just don't.
Wait... Why is he tied up in a chair?
I SAID NOT TO ASK, DAMMIT!
STOP TALKING TO YOURSELF AND GET ON WITH THE POST, YOU PIECE OF SHIT!
Fine, jeez...
"What's there no point to, dear?" John asked again.
Serenade breathed for a moment, wishing she had her wings back. "The world. He's taken Brother." Serenade said rather absent-mindedly. "Will I become next? Will this world be doomed? Solstice... why must you return?" She asked as her ears flattened.
"Wait, now the old asshead is your brother? I always thought he's be more of an unc-HOLD UP, WHAT!?" John said. "Since when was Solstice... Whatever, let's go beat him back to death." He then blinked. "Er... oh right. Preggeh. Nvm."
"Maybe in a couple months. But we can't do anything. I don't think I could stand a chance. It feels like this entire world is made up of Solstice... it's incredible..." She breathed before flopping on the couch. "Let's just hope he doesn't kill everything at once."
~~~Seven Years Later~~~
Boom! Bang! Bizzizam!
The Third Battle of Palmacosta. The rebels were on the rise again, on the way to retaking the city. Again.
"Like one step forward and two steps back, huh?" John asked, breathing as he charged into the city, cutting down specters left and right. "Is everyone else present and accounted for?" He asked, not seeing any resistance from his opponents, really. At least not until he'd reached the fountain and saw a final boss guy standing there alone.
"What, you're here?" Equinox asked. "Honestly, little rats like you are nothing. Fighting and running. It serves no purpose." He said, a lance appearing in his hand.
"... Exilis..." John muttered, seeing the lance. "No way am I backing down! I'll end this!" He said, running forward and slashing at the god repeatedly, not landing a single blow, most of his slashes being dodged outright, though those that weren't dodged were simply parried as if John were a complete newb.
"Are you done?"
"Like hell I am! Eins Schwert!" John shouted, causing an explosion that was dodged entirely. "Now! Irvine!" He said.
"Right..." Irvine suddenly appeared. Six Irvines, in fact, each of them firing an array of powerful beams of light, all of them, being dodged, however.
Taini then shot in from out of nowhere with a blast of energy exposed from her blade, followed with a dual tornado. "TAKE THIS!" She cried afterwards, not giving herself away until then.
And Serenade.... well Serenade had to babysit. Sort of. She was going to arrive. And it was going to be at any moment. Why couldn't she arrive sooner? Because she still had to feed her child apple fucking sauce.
"More and more rats come out from the floors... Honestly, a family of trash... But not all of you?" Equinox smirked. "re there really some too afraid to face me?"
"You wish." John said, charging once more. "The last lynchpin is about to fall in!" He said. "Your time is done!"
Just then a giant blast emitted out of nowhere, courtesy of Serenade. With a small huff she rolled her eyes. "Look, I know I was late, but please..."
"Mom! It's about time!" Taini shouted as Ai ran up to them, breathing heavily. "S-s-sorry for being l-late..."
"It's fine." Irvine said, landing next to Ai. "How's Daisuke?" He asked his wife.
"Do you really think that some silly little plan would be enough to stop me?" Equinox asked. "Go on, see if I'll even give you TIME for your so called lynchpin!" He had simply ignored Serenade's attack.
"F-Fine, just at an orphanage right now. "You'd be surprised that it can act as a daycare center." Ai pointed out as she unsealed her wings.
"Right, so what are we going to do for our plan?" Serenade asked as she placed a hand to the back of her head. "Because, JJ, I told you so."
"Well... By now the revival should be done..." John said. "So... Uh... RETREAT! TELLY SPAM IF YOU CAN!" He shouted, clinging to Serenade, knowing teleporting was the safest escape route from the god king.
"Yeah, uh..." Serenade sighed before she disappeared, with everyone practically following her with Seraphim spammy. MMm, spam. So delicious. Nothing is greater than being able to flee from a god king. FUUUUUUUUU-
~~~~~
"It's... Raining again..." Zach said, standing under the roof of a ruined manor in what was once Grand Chokmah. "Hey... Alma... Are you alright?" He asked. They were now 25 and 26 respectively, and had been journeying alone for a while. He hugged her. "Hey... Do you know if anyone survived?" He asked her.
"..." Alma shook her head. "No one did. I couldn't sense anyone. It iz okay. It vaz bound to happen sooner or later." She whispered as she returned the hug. "I... I just vant to move on. Maybe get a few of my old zhingz, but nozhing more." By now her body was drenched from head to toe in water, causing her to shiver constantly.
"Well... There's one place I wanted to go..." Zach muttered, hugging Alma. "I guess you're a widow now... For better or for worse..." He sighed. "And... I made a promise... I just hope I can keep it... Want to go meet my folks?" He asked.
"You know, not once have you really asked me zhat. It haz been seven yearz. So vhat vaz ze promise?" Alma asked as she raised her brows, though chuckling at the word, widow. They say that you should wait a year after losing your significant other. Not me. With a slip of the ring, she merely tossed it aside, feeling absolutely free.
"Well... I wouldn't return home without a girl to show my parents... I'm sure they're still around... They're way too tenacious to have died! Not to mention too much out in the middle of nowhere!" Zach laughed, smiling. "Quickly, before we catch our deaths here!"
Alma nodded as she ran with Zach outside of Grand Chokmah. Laughing, she grasped his hand as her ears flicked wildly. "Took you all zhat time to actually ask me out? How foolish of you, Zach. Very silly boy."
"That's not it!" Zach said. "But... I can't just bring them a married woman, can I?" He asked, crossing his arms. "Especially since I was a fugitive until recently, wasn't I?" He asked.
"Uh..." Alma raised a finger. "I guess you are right. I mean, ve have both been all over ze newz..." She sighed, shaking her head. "It vaz razher annoying, if anyzhing. But now I get to meet your parents! I have alvayz vanted to do zhat!" Alma cried out as she giggled with happiness.
"Well... Be prepared for a shock." Zach said, reaching a small farmhouse on the outskirts, where, quite by surprise, there appeared to be several additions, both in buildings and crop areas. "Woah..." He said, seeing people who were clearly refugees from Grand Chokmah working some of the fields and talking amongst themselves. "Er... This could be a bit awkward..." He said, realizing that they had never actually received word of Kain's passing, and for all they knew, he could have been working these very farms.
Zach gulped, but approached a familiar figure. "Um... Hello." He said, tapping the man on the shoulder.
"Yeah, what do ya want?" He asked, turning about to see Zach.
"Um... Hey, dad." Zach replied, causing the man to gasp.
"Son... You're alive!" Oujay exclaimed. "Frei! He's back! And he's alive! Ah don't believe it!"
"ZACH!" Came a feminine voice, with a slender form rushing after Zach and hugging him tightly. "Where have you been!? You worried us sick!! Couldn't you have sent us letters!?"
Alma smiled as she stepped back, already becoming giddy over being introduced. Is this what being brought home is all about? She thought, wondering if they would be shocked that Zach would bring home a woman that was once an heiress to a house that governed the entire city of Grand Chokmah.
~~~~~
"Come on!" Came the voice of a 20 year old knight. "We can't be slacking!" She continued, sliding down a rocky path from Mt. Zaleho to the ruins of St. Binah. The God General, Jessica the Revenger, or Fenix to the one person who knew the reality. "The scion is waiting for us!"
"Ma'am!" One of knights cried out, understanding her orders. They soon kept up the marching, making sure that they would reach St. Binah in record time. At the entrance stood Fenix, or in reality Jessica, who was busy dusting herself off. "Yulia, this is so boring... waiting..."
"Fenix!" Fenix called out, revealing a cloth wrapped parcel. "We found it... Your blade." The God General, though in reality, de facto leader of the Oracle Knights, said. He handed over the old sword. "This... We may be able to fight the God King with it... Right?" He asked.
Jessica grasped the blade for a moment, her eyes bright as she noticed the blade. Seeing the two, it was growing more and more apparent of the reality, though people still haven't realized it. Her features became more feminine and she seemed a little more "barrel chested", meaning that she had to start using wraps to hide her breasts. But she still kept the wig, despite her own hair being down past her shoulders, finally comfortable with it. "This should be enough, as long as we have help to back us up, right?"
"Well... Yeah." Fenix said, placing a hand on a femininely curved hip, courtesy of constant wearage of a corset. "But it's the Key of Lorelei... It has to be SOMETHING, right?"
"Of course! So what is the next plan of action, hm?" The 21 year old asked as she lifted the blade, inspecting it once again. Yulia it is so nice... She thought as she sighed, feeling a pit in her stomach.
"I do not know." Fenix admitted. He shook his head. "Are we strong enough to face the God King? I mean... Even with the key..." He groaned. "It might not be enough..." He sighed once more. "What a mess, what a mess, what a mess..."
"It may not, but we may be gather a force..." Jessica sighed. "It may just be enough. We have to do something... he's reduced nearly every city to rubble! We can't let him continue such actions!"
"True enough..." Fenix sighed. "But... Nobody's even been able to slow him down once he's entered combat... I mean... Yeah, his army can be repelled, and as long as he doesn't enter the fray himself we're clear... But... Yeah..." He sat down. 'Some God General I am...' He thought to himself, blinking. As of this point, he was one of the two de facto leaders of the Order of Lorelei, and he still wasn't sure what to do. "... Perhaps we could regroup to Baticul?" He suggested. "They've been able to repel the God King's assaults to this point... Maybe we can plan from there?"
"We may have to do that. Baticul is a very strong city. We could be safe for the time being..." Jessica replied as she lowered her eyes. "I just cannot see how he could be so strong. He is unbeatable... but he isn't immortal. Well, damaging speaking. In fact, he has an Achilles heel. We just have to find where it is. So, what is your next move, Jessica? We can't stand here twiddling our thumbs all day."
~~~~~
A weapon was formed. Just a sharpened crystal blade. Worthless.
Again. This time a halberd.
Then again, but this time it was just bread and corn, served with a couple giant slabs of rappig. Glenn had lost track of the days. He had been visiting his parents frequently, but traveled often just the same. He had been able to handle Seraphim at his point, as he had realized the potential just a year later. Not only that, but he was able to handle Demonata as well.
"Ugh, Yulia..." The 26 year old sighed deeply while he bit his thumb. Happiness was often, but it was always overcome by more grief.
'What's up?' Came a woman. She had an absolutely beautiful form, and by this point had chosen to dress like a jungle queen, rather than let the alchemist form clothes for her. 'What are you trying to make now?'
Glenn grinned his sheepish grin, something he never grew out of, and pointed at the meal. "Just some food. I'm sure you're hungry." He said as he decided to wait if she wanted to eat. "It's just odd. Can you believe it's been seven years?" He asked her, his golden eyes suddenly appearing concerned. "We're losing more people everyday. And I feel like a damn coward. Are we being smart about this?" On his face he wore a frown. Despite the frown, he appeared to be incredibly handsome, definitely a man most women would want... if it wasn't for his 5'4" stature.
'Great, I'm starved!' Anna said, crawling over to him and grabbing some of it herself before wrapping her body around him and starting to eat. 'It's not like we can do anything... I mean... We've tried... A lot...' She said. 'And the time has flown by... I can't believe we can't get the pills anymore.' She sighed.
Glenn wrapped an arm around her, beginning to eat himself. "Or much of anything. Everything is so hard to come by. It makes it really REALLY hard to not just... well do that." He flushed as he placed a head on her shoulder. "I mean, we've been lucky haven't we? Though we probably should really try to hold off on it. Don't really want an accident... W-well not right now anyway." He said before stuffing his face like the Goku he was.
'Maybe we should... I've been having these urges.' The all but naked woman said as she took a bite of the food Glenn had transmuted for the both of them. 'Heh... This is so tasty!' She swooned.
"Thanks..." Glenn replied. "Really given it my all today. That and I remember an actual recipe of a certain seasoning that I used. I had to steal it from Mom." He replied as he fidgeting a little. "You know, you shouldn't be saying stuff like that." He said with a sly grin. "Because you sound very tempting. You have no idea..." He began with a sigh. "You have no idea how badly I've been wanting to be a father, even in a hell like this." He then lowered his head, feeling slightly embarrassed to the admittance. "I'd like the thought..." He trailed off, wanting to choose his words carefully, ...to do it sooner... you're human, after all, Anna. And someday, whether you or I like it or not, you're going to age... He groaned, wondering if he should seek the final forbidden tome. He had managed to capture all of them that were still existent, save one. And he knew what that one was. It was a similar technique to what his mother and father had done to spend all of their life together with youth flowing in them.
'Well...' Anna looked up. 'I've been having the urges, but at the same time... I really don't know how ready I am...' She admitted. 'And in the world as it is...' She shook her head, cringing slightly. 'I don't know if we could protect a kid... Ugh, I feel like a coward...' She admitted. 'Hiding in the jungle like an animal... It makes me sick... But we couldn't even hurt that thing...'
"You're not the only one feeling like a coward, but it's for our own safety. We just need to stay strong and come up with something. Okay?" Glenn told her before kissing her. "Look, we will emerge when the time is right. I mean, we are growing stronger... We may act like chicken shits, but we are not. Intelligence and skill wins the battle. I know my family is out there fighting with their lives... but it's not doing a damn thing." He then grasped her hands. "I have control over everything now. Sure it took me awhile. But..." He frowned, "If anything, a kid may make everything better. In a way, though. It... it means hope. Something to look forward into the future. Something to really protect the world for."
~~~~~
In the Netherworld, Mai-Fei was standing in the middle of a circle, which was glowing. "Tsune... I... I'm dying..." She mumbled faintly. "But... All these people... They'll be able to fight... Right?" She asked.
Tsune blinked, suddenly jumping to Mai-Fei's aid. "What!? Why do you think you're dying?" She asked with eyes of worriment. "Please Mai-Fei, don't sound so silly."
"No... I am dying..." Mai-Fei said. "But... I'll be back... As soon as they... Defeat him..." She spoke, falling over, dead.
"Mai-Fei? MAI-FEI!" Tsune screamed as she knelt beside her. "What the hell Mai-Fei!? You're kidding, right!? If you are, this isn't funny!!!"
There was suddenly a bright bright light, and afterward, Mai-Fei vanished completely.
"Mai-Fei... no..." Tsune fell to her knees, suddenly filled with shock. "Why did you do that to me.... Why did you leave me alone like this?" She asked, feeling extremely pale.
"Hey... Hey, hey, hey!" Came a voice inside Tsune's head. "You didn't know what was going to happen?" It asked. "I thought everyone did! Er... Sorry... But... You're not alone!" The voice said happily. "I'm still here! I mean... We're linked... Not like mom and dad, but we still are linked! And that's why I was willing to do this! Yeah, I lose my body for a bit... But it's okay, because now I get to share bodies with you!"
"I... I don't know whether to scream or..." Tsune blinked. "N-not that this is a bad thing. It's just so freaky!" She then noticed that the rune on her chest was glowing. "Hey... maybe this was what you meant... by having me as a vessel... for you..." She sighed, suddenly figuring out what her purpose was in connection to Mai-Fei. "So... you CAN really control me. Technically I'm your body, just in case... aren't I?"
"Naaaaah!" Mai-Fei responded, giggling inside of Tsune's head. "I didn't link us, it just happened." She pointed out. "But... No, we can share, okay?" She smiled, doing something odd, making Mai-Fei hug herself. "That's from me, okay?" She asked in the skull.
~~~~~
'But what happens if we LOSE that hope, huh?' Anna asked. 'If we fight... And lose him or her... Then what would happen?' She frowned, sitting back, then curling up and placing her head on his lap. From his angle, almost every inch of her skin could be seen.
~~~~~
"... We should go." Fenix said. "We can forge an alliance with the kingdom of Kimlaska-Lanvaldear." He pointed out. "Much like the army of Malkuth having merged within Baticul's walls... Perhaps we can form a triangle alliance... The Order of Lorelei... The Malkuth Empire... And the Kingdom of Kimlaska-Lanvaldear... Surely having the scion of Lorelei will improve morale!"
~~~~~
"We were in hiding..." Zach admitted. "I wanted to say something... But if you received mail from us... It could have put you at risk... I didn't want to risk that." He said. "Well... I am sure you already know of Alma." He said.
"... Alma!" Oujay exclaimed. "Yer who our Zach has been with!?" He asked, crossing his arms. "Erm... ya know... It may not be somethin' you want to hear from the looks of things... But... Yer husband is livin' on the farm."
~~~~~
And they had regrouped underground. Literally. They had been making their base in the netherworld, outside of Equinox's view.
"... Mai-Fei is gone then?" Irvine asked, seeing Tsune alone. "So... Did the plan work?" He asked.
"... I bet it did!" John said, smiling. "Well, Tsune? Are the greatest heroes of all time going to come to help?"
Tsune blinked, feeling her own arms hug herself. "Thanks..." She mumbled. "You know I still love you, right?" She asked before seeing the group emerge. "Huh?" Taking a step back, wondering if it was somehow Equinox Solstice and his army, she readied herself.
Only to see her family. She sighed with relief before taking a step forward. "Huh...? What are you talking about?" Of course she was ALWAYS kept in the dark about these things. "I just know that Mai-Fei did leave... and she linked with my body."
~~~~
"Have you really been having an affair with our son?" Freija asked suddenly, causing Alma's ears to flatten. "N-no... Just... I zhought he vaz dead, and I..."
"Well, apparently he is not dead. He is alive and well. Of course he is earning his keep."
"I see... so apparently I am still married. Great. I should just somehow call a divorce."
"Did you not want to be with him?"
"No... of course not. It was over political issues."
~~~~
Jessica nodded as she placed her hands behind her head. "Right. We should get going if we want to push this through! The longer we put this off, the sooner the world could be destroyed! Well, if that makes any sense." She sighed as began to move ahead. "Right, now let's go!"
~~~~
"It won't happen... Okay? It won't. Tenacity runs in my family." Glenn wrapped one arm around her body, right under her breasts as he began to stroke her skin rather absent mindedly. Stroking Anna's hair with the other, he continued, "Hope is something we can't lose, Anna. You have to trust me in this. There have been worse things that have happened... and every time it has been resolved. It is your choice in the end, but I just don't want you afraid of anything. I just wanted to dispel those doubts that you have."

'... Do you really think it's that easy?' Anna asked. For once in her life, she suddenly didn't feel all that into it. 'No... I... I want to be sure of it... Before I become a mother.' She told him.
~~~~~
"Of course, Lord Scion!" Fenix said, saluting. "All men! We march for Baticul!" He called out, leading the troops down the mountain, where he was met with a beast, that which stood as the greatest enemy as the symbol of the order. "To me, Inazuma!" He called, the Liger approaching and allowing him to ride.
~~~~~
"Mom... He wasn't good to her..." Zach said frowning. "I... I didn't want her to be sad... That's why I abducted her." he said. "For her sake."
~~~~~
"Yeah, I'm right here!" Mai-Fei spoke through Tsune's mouth. "Going back inside now!" She laughed.
"There was no intent to leave you in the dark." Irvine explained.
"Yeah, I mean, NOBODY said it. Everyone just kinda guessed this would happen." John pointed out.
Glenn frowned for a moment, his impatience getting the better of him, but he decided not to push it. She was right. She was the cautious one for the most part, and he was the brash. His actions caused many deaths, included Jace's, and since then he hadn't even felt right. Continued to stroke her ribs, he answered her with a soft, defeated voice. "I understand, Anna. I'm sorry for pressuring you." He mumbled before he stopped his stroking, then fell back against the ground, his eyes to the stars. "Tomorrow I'm going to take action. Screw it. We can't idle by."
~~~~
Tsune shook her head, feeling a tad odd, but she knew she had to get used to it sooner or later. "Except me! I didn't know anything about this Necromancer stuff! I didn't know I was a vessel! I didn't know what her purpose was..." She whispered.
"Hey, don't act so glum about it!" Taini chimed in as threw a thumbs up. "This is a big chance to save everything! I mean, we just don't stand a chance! And with all the heroes from long ago... it may just be enough..."
~~~~
"So... what do you propose we should do?" Freija asked before seeing Kain walked up to them. "Planted the buds and wate-" His eyes then drew to Alma and Zach, and his face immediately fell.
"Alma."
"Kain." It was just a standstill, with tension rising between the two.
~~~~
Jessica followed right behind on her two legs, decided to monitor the troops. She definitely had felt great about this moment, and acting as Scion...
No, she was the Scion or Lorelei. When it was announced, she couldn't believe it, though she knew very well it was intended for Fenix. But in the end, she earned it. And when they eventually reveal themselves...

Not that intent mattered. Only Jessica could be the scion, which was something Fenix could never, nor would ever become. He was just another person, his brother attuned to become the Fon Master, his rival the Scion of Lorelei. What did he have? Determination, I guess. He looked to Jessica, blinking. "So... The Key is yours and yours alone... Just like Asch the Bloody... Luke fon Fabre... And Momo Ulande... How does it feel?" He asked.
~~~~~
"... Alma... Let's go..." Zach said, clenching his fists. "I'm not interested in this right now." He said. "We met my parents, right? That... Should be enough."
~~~~~
"So... Uh... Where are they?" John couldn't help but ask. There was silence for a minute.
"... They were revived, right?" Irvine asked.
"Uhhhh... I... Think so...?" Mai-Fei said from Tsune's body.
~~~~~
'But where will we go?' Anna asked. 'Should we try and find your family?' She continued. 'I mean... Is there anything we can do alone?'
~~~~~
At a graveyard, a man stared at three graves, two next to one another, one behind both. "That is... My grave..." He said. "What am I doing here?" He asked, looking around and wondering how he had arrived back at that spot after floating for so long.
~~~~~
A woman was singing on top of a tower, holding a young girl in her arms.
"... Mom..." The girl said. "Why do we have to be alone?"
"... The world isn't safe... Your father died before the danger started..." The woman said. "Until the world becomes safe... We should stay here... And after... We'll return to your father's home... And finish his dream for him."
"His dream?" The girl asked.
"That's right..."
Jessica smiled brightly. "It's not at all a big deal. Not like it's really all that special. Even if, I don't want to be treated as such. People think you're the one that's special. That was born special. I merely am carrying the truth for you." She then patted the handle of her blade before stepping forward. "But you, you have the leadership ability. You know I have no such thing. I realized that awhile back, but... I told you before. I'm happy being the right hand woman."
~~~~
Just as Alma turned, Kain stepped forward. "Alma. Stop."
Alma suddenly froze, feeling very frightened.
"What did I ever do wrong to you?" Kain asked. "I have made up for my mistakes, and you now turn your back on me... I wanted to give us a chance. You're still my wife..." He told her completely in English.
Alma cringed, knowing he was right. "I just..."
~~~~
"Well that's a relief... now were all of them revived? Or just some?" Taini asked as Serenade sniffed the air. "Well... yup. All of them. But it's temporary. I feel bad for saying this, but they are our pawns in a game of chess against Solstice. We need to use them wisely."
"So... what do I do? I mean... I can't do much of anything." Tsune told them all, feeling very tired, as her human body WAS harboring Mai-Fei and Tsune's soul.
~~~~
"We can't do anything alo-" Just then he grabbed her and rolled out of the way, seeing a spear pierce where the couple lied. "Who the!?" Glenn grit his teeth as he heard a certain laugh.
"Brother, it's been quite a while, hasn't it?" Came the voice, which belonged to his younger brother Leo. "Heh, and being quite the ladies' man huh?" He said, eying Anna with hungry eyes.
~~~~
"It's been awhile." A woman's voice was heard from behind the man. Before him stood a small, frail appearing woman with a flute clenched in her hand. "Valor." She suddenly smiled.
~~~~
"You shouldn't start my own dream without me." Came a deep male voice. Behind the woman and child stood a tall young man, his green eyes glittering. Placing his hands to his hips, he smiled. "So, apparently I missed a lot of shocking news..."
