Ai shook her head. "Pathetic, Irvine..." She then finished the biscuit before hugging the girl. "I think you should avoid making that for Daddy next time, okay?" She told the girl before pecking her cheek.

~~~~~
Glenn was confident... until he stepped inside the classroom. He noticed the blue-haired, girl, but found himself too shy to say anything. Being the only 'human' in the classroom, he scooted himself in a seat next to her, not saying anything, but instead kept to himself, beginning to play a little with alchemy, transmuting bits and pieces of the desk into small toys, catching the eyes of several elven children, though they didn't near him.
And nor did the girl, instead she simply sat there, biding her time and waiting for the class to end silently.
The lessons began, and eventually, cliques formed together during the break.
~~~~~

"... But why?" Mai-Fei asked. "Why wouldn't daddy like the food, huh? I made it special for him!" She whined.

"It... have you ever consider tasting the food...?" Ai simply asked as she patted the girl on the back.

~~~~~
Glenn was fidgety the entire time, feeling like a child with ADD. When the break came, he didn't know who to approach. He was suddenly afraid that they wouldn't like him because he was human. "...Ela... I don't know how to talk to anyone... what do I say?" He said, looking over to her and whispering.
"Well... you could just say hi! Show off your alchemy or something!" The girl responded with a smile.
Mai-Fei blinked. "I tried it! The captain crunch was yummy and so was the juice!" She said with a smile, looking at her mom. "And the chicken and biscuits were yummy too!" She said. "So I did taste it!"
Irvine came out of the bathroom, not wanting to admit he had dumped the food in the toilet. "Erm... It was good..." He said. "But... It was so rich... I really don't think I could ever eat it again."
"...Did you taste them together though?" Ai asked before sighing. "Really? I think you should try her other concoctions at the least!"
"... Why would I have to taste them together?" Mai-Fei asked. "They both taste good... So they should taste good together, right?" She said, blinking. "It makes sense, right?"
"... You have a lot to learn." Irvine sighed. "But... We've a lot to teach you today as well." He said. "Come on, it's time for your lessons."
"Awww...." Mai-Fei mumbled.
~~~~~

"Look at the shortie..." One girl said.

"I know... Him and the half elf... Both of them are so bizarre," A young boy spoke.

Glenn lowered his head, suddenly feeling slightly hurt. Maybe they thought he was bizarre just because he wasn't talking?

"Hey, you shouldn't call us names like that..." The boy stood up as he shrugged. "Actually, I just wasn't sure of what to say... Um... wanna play?"

"Why would we wanna play with you? Runt!" Someone cried out.

"Hey! I bet I know a lot cooler than you!" Glenn stamped his feet on the ground.

"You tell them Glenny!" Ela cried.

~~~~~
"Yup! We are going to teach you your favorite subject!" Ai chimed in as she rolled herself out of her bed and fetched some clothing, running over to the bathroom and changing. "That and we have a big lunch for you!"
Irvine nodded. 'Though it strange to think of a young girl whose favorite subject is history... But we're taking her to a history museum, and that's the end of it... Ai, I really hope you don't die of boredom there.' He thought, sighing.
~~~~~

"What does that even mean?" A girl asked.

"Are you just dumb?" Another child said.

'Whatever... At least they aren't talking to me...' The blue haired girl thought.

"Ugh... Wait..." Glenn then closed his eyes, then glanced around. Drawing a circle on a piece of paper, he set it on the desk. Clapping his hands, he placed it on the paper. What transmuted was a pole. "Heh, see?"

"Pfft. Whatever. That's so lame. No one does it!" A kid cried out.

"Grr..."

Ela placed a hand on his shoulder. "It's okay Glenny, they're just stupid elves."

"Yeah... you're right Ela. They're just stupid!" He cried out them. "Stop being mean!"

~~~~~
Ai, of course was already dreading it. And of course, the worst was yet to come. She was dreading the entire trip. Of course... it was a history museum of Palmacosta. Which was absolutely nothing. Because the museum was continuously destroyed. So it had become the most boring museum on the planet.
"Yay, yay!" Mai-Fei said. "Where are we going?" She asked her dad.
"Ask your mother, okay?" Irvine replied. "For now, I have a lot to prepare, okay, kiddo?" He asked, smiling and patting her head before heading to the kitchen. He quickly made himself a sandwich, eating it, then making more food for the trip.
~~~~~

"Hey, who's he talking to?" A girl asked.

"Does he have imaginary friends? Yulia, those are so two years ago!" Another elf said.

"I bet the imaginary friend is just as much of a loser as he is!"

Just then one elf felt a chill throughout his body. "W-what the heck? What was that? I feel cold!"

"That's right! Ela's my sister, you jerks!" Glenn cried out as he desperately wanted to attack them, but attempted to stay calm.

"Whoa! H-H-h....Is he possessed!?" One of the kids cried out. Suddenly hushed whispered surrounded the boy. "Possessed?"

"No way..."

"He has a ghost!"

"Holy cow!"

A green haired boy suddenly looked to Glenn and frowned. "You're a possessed loser! Go away!!!" He cried out. "Go away before we beat you!"

"...I... I didn't do anything..." Glenn frowned. "Hey, I'm just trying to make friends here!" He squeaked.

~~~~~
"...We are going to Palmacosta... the world's most interesting museum in the world." Ai rolled her eyes as she helped Irvine in the kitchen prepare. After a bit, the family was ready to go on the trip. "So, want to bring any friends, Mai-Fei?"
"Can Glenny come along?" Mai-Fei asked, smiling happily as she grabbed her teeney tiny stuffed animal from the week prior.
"Everyone ready then?" Irvine asked, smiling.
~~~~~

So, while the children made fun of Glenn, the one girl inched her desk ever further to the back of the room.

And then the class was called back to order.

"Well, I don't think Glenny can til after school... remember it is his first day today." The woman told her daughter as she patted her head. "But we'll take you to the museum, then we will pick him up and take you both out for dinner. How's that?" She then nodded to Irvine, signaling that she was ready.

~~~~~
Glenn groaned as he placed his head on the desk, his hands on top of his head as he was in his seat and listening to the teacher ramble on and on about things he already knew about. He was going to ask if there was any possibility to switch to a more advanced class, and possibly get away from these kids. Basically he felt pained, but he didn't show it. He didn't want to show anyone that he was a crybaby. Ela... why are they making fun of me? I'm not possessed... you're just following me around... that's not possession... He tried to convince himself before the bell rang and it was about lunch time. Which either meant that he was going to be picked on or he was going to end up lonelier than ever.
Just then he had a hand on his shoulder. "Hey, sit with us!" The green haired child that made fun of him earlier told him.
"N-no thanks..." Glenn turned his head away.
"Come on! What? A human is too good for us? Huh?"
"...N-no I'm just scare-"
"Scared of what?"
"N-nothing. I just... I don't wanna eat with you guys, that's all." Glenn replied as he wrestled his shoulder away from the kid and made his way out.
"Hey! I'm not through with you yet, Pipsqueak!"
Of course, there was nobody who approached he blue haired girl, not that she cared. She just sat alone at a corner table, eating her lunch, which looked to have been brought in from home. And stepped on at least once or twice. The other children continued to talk about how different the two students were, occasionally a glare sent in either of their directions.
~~~~~

"But... I wanted him to come..." Mai-Fei mumbled, sniffing. "Fien... But I wanna go to the super chicken house for dinner!" She said, pounding her fist on the counter for emphasis.

"Super chicken house? Well that's fine then. We will go there." She then turned to her husband. "I believe we are nothing more than ready, Irvine." She told him, now a little peeved.

~~~~~
"Grr..." Glenn lacked patience. He knew this. He wasn't really hurt in the end, but he was definitely upset. "Brother, what's wrong? Do they really hate you...?"
"I guess..." Glenn replied. "Can't understand why."
"They're just stupid. But hey, there's someone who you might be able to talk to!" Ela then pointed to the blue haired girl. Glenn sighed, shaking his head. "She looks like she would hate me. Gah, I hate being puny..."
"You're not puny, just short!"
"Hey!"
"Hehehe, sorry. But you should still approach her. I bet she's sad too! Maybe you'll make a new friend today after all!"
"...I don't know what to say..."
"I told you before, Glenny. Just say hi. Just... don't show off to a girl. It was okay in a group, but girls will think it's annoying."
"Wait, how would you know?"
"Intuition."
"...Intu-what?"
"Nothing. Never mind! Go!" Just then Glenn was pushed off his seat, causing him to stumble lightly. Gulping, he continued to feel a jab from her sister, nearly angering him. Come on, stop it Ela. I know I'm just gonna be hated more... He whimpered at the thought as he then approached the girl.
"H-hi..." He began as he glanced down at her, now very afraid, though he didn't tried to show it. "What's your name?"
"Mun." The girl groaned simply looking into her destroyed sandwich and taking a bite from it. 'Go away.' She thought to herself. 'I just want to be left alone, you jerk... Why are you talking to me? This is my table.'
~~~~~

"Alright, then let's go." Irvine said, handing the woman an mp3 player with one earbud headphone, knowing it might be the only thing that would keep the woman sane during the museum visit. He unsealed his wings, then motioned to Mai-Fei, who did the same.

Ela sighed as she placed a hand on his shoulder. "DON'T even think about leaving! This is your chance! So what if she hates you!?"

"...That would be a reason to leave her alone... -.-;" Glenn sweatdropped as he whispered. "Come on, sis! Don't make me do this!"

"DO IT!"

"No!"

"DO IT OR YOU'LL NEVER HAVE FRIENDS AGAIN!"

"...;-; I want friends... Fine..."

"Offer your sandwich."

"I was gonna... Um... hey..." He started again towards the girl, wanting to kick himself. "I have two sandwiches, if you want one." He squeaked, remaining at his post, even if he'll get beaten for it in the end. I just don't want people thinking I'm a freak... you probably are thinking, half-pint go away.

~~~~~
Of course Ai found the MP3 player to practically be Yulia at this point. Or at least a godsend. Ai then unsealed her wings, then decided to ask the girl. "So... what did you do at the YMCA yesterday?"
"Um..." Mai-Fei thought about it for a second. "I made a picture!" She said. "It has mommy and daddy and macaronis!" She said with a smile, unsealing her unusual wings. "Whee, history museum, history museum!"
Irvine blinked. "Macaronis?" He asked, slightly confused.
~~~~~

'Maybe I can catch him on fire with my mind. Catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, damn, it isn't working, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, catch on fire, still not working... Maybe if I don't say anything he'll go away... And maybe catch on fire.'

"...Macaroni painting...?" Ai shrugged as she cringed every time Mai-Fei mentioned history museum. It also felt that each time, her mind snapped a slightly.

"...Did you do anything else? Like go swimming? You gotta show us what a great swimmer you are!"

~~~~~
":(" Glenn then was about to leave, only to have his shoulders grasped onto.
"You're NOT going anywhere little brother!"
"She hates me... :("
"...Yes, she does! But you gotta change that! Do you wanna be the loneliest kid in school!?"
"...Maybe."
"NO YOU DON'T! Get talking to her, sheesh!"
"...Why do you hate me? :( Is it cause I'm a freak?" Glenn just decided to ask.
"...Little brother..." Ela slapped her forehead. "Moron."
PLAPP! Suddenly a stomped sandwich was on his face, the sound of a stomach growling to be heard from the young girl who had thrown her only meal to shut the boy up. 'Now will you please leave me alone? You took my lunch, isn't that enough?' She thought.
~~~~~

"Um... We played tag!" Mai-Fei said, flying circles around her parents. "We're going to the museum, we're going to the museum, we're going to the museum, we're going to the do de do di do Wheeee!"
