"Not join them, I know... I want to leave though... and from the fairy tales I heard, I know you are one of the four Templar Beasts, and to leave this world we have to take you all down. I'm sorry, but I want to leave with them," Therese whispered as Glenn raised an eyebrow. "Huh? That was... pretty... cool. Kinda reminds me of Grandma and Grandpa."

"Yeah, that's great, now can we keep going?" Ace asked as he stood, using the baseball bat as a crutch. "I want to get back sometime today and just chill in my old bed for once instead of some damn cot." He said, watching the beast burn to ashes before them. "Hey, you aren't too bad." He said to Therese as he walked past her.

"I don't know where to go..." Glenn sighed before walking over to the entrance. It was covered with ice... and above it was a giant ripping whirlwind water. Both were impenetrable, as Glenn found out by flinging himself and every ability full force into the barriers. A man who could potentially destroy the world, beaten by two measly barriers? Heh.

"Aw, Glenny! What happened!?" Therese cried as she ignored Ace's compliment. She was still annoyed with him, as always.

"... I can't do it. There are two others... right?"

"Mm."

"So we need to hunt them down."

"Right."

"Any idea where they could be?"

"The breath of ice scours a golden lit mountainscape..." Therese replied as she folded her arms. "And the water torrent... obviously in the seas. Just don't know where."

"Well isn't it obvious what we have to do?" Ace asked, tapping his foot and smirking. "We step on people's feet until we piss one of them off enough to come out and fight us!" He said, approaching the mouth to realize they were out in a clearing. "Hey... Did we just go so deep that we reached the other side...?" He asked, looking around at the blue sky. "So... No sun? I thought this was the real sky!" He said.

"Eh? This is odd..." Glenn glanced around before sighing. "We should probably get a move on..." He groaned and slapped his forehead. He then ran ahead of the other two, leaving Therese and Ace in the dust.

"HEY! GLENNY, WAIT UP!" Therese cried out before following after him in a sprint.

"You know, he's never going to return that." Ace pointed out as he ran after the both of them, wondering exactly where they were going at this point. "Hey! Kid! You know what exactly we're doing?" He asked.

"No, but only one way to find out!" Glenn barked before continuing his run down the slopes. Therese grimaced. "Shut UP, Ace," she hissed before continuing her following. She seemed hurt just by hearing those words, but she knew she wasn't going to give up. That girl was being unfair to him!

Ace darted ahead, picking his nose. "If you don't know the whole story, you're just going to keep demonizing everyone else. In fact, all you're really doing at this point is being a tramp and a bad friend. Me? At least I'm honest about it, but people who are bad friends and dishonest about it are the worst. That's why I don't lie about being a terrible person. SLOW DOWN!" He said, smacking the bat into the back of Glenn's head as he caught up for half a second.

Glenn growled as he turned around to Ace for a moment. "And you stop that! Ugh, why are you always at each other's throats? Can we drop the subject? And stop being so harsh Ace! And Therese," he said as he turned to Therese. "I'm taken. Please, a guy would be happy to have you, but even though Anna and are on pretty bad terms, you have to understand we can't be together."

"I... I see..." This led Therese to be crushed by the both of them on all accounts. She thought of just turning around and running away, but she feared that Ace would stop her, and she never wanted that to happen.

Ace shrugged. "Gotta keep moving forward if you want to live, right?" He asked, holding his bat up high and shrugging. "So where are we now?" He asked, turning to Therese and pointing his bat at her. "Lead the way." He spoke, surprisingly not using the word Hussy or any other derivative.

"Where are we?" Therese asked as she continued to frown. "I... I don't know."

"Of course you do," Glenn replied as he tried to lift her spirits. "Don't worry, you'll have your new home soon. We just all have to try."

"..."

Glenn frowned before turning to Ace. "Guess we have no choice but to explore... it seems to go way down below sea level.

"So we dive, don't we?" Ace asked as he walked into the water. "Hey, listen!" He said to Therese. "You keep moping, and I'm going to give you a reason to mope, you understand?" He asked her before continuing to wade through the water and grumble.

"..." Therese didn't care. She just glanced at the water, clearly still affected by the previous words. 'Why?' she thought before she bit her lip. She then waded in after them. Glenn followed behind the both of them, acting as a guard for both of them. "Keep going. Let's not worry about this, okay?"

Ace turned around, frustrated. He tightly gripped his bat, then smashed it into the water, causing a large splash that soaked Therese to the bone. "NOW you have somethin' to whine about!" He said, seeming annoyed as he looked around. "Look, ya damn whatever the hell ya are! We're here! We killed two of your buddies, now come out and fight us already!"

There was nothing but silence as Ace shouted. Glenn merely grimaced, hating the fact that Ace was too loud. "Ace, please kindly shut up. We're better off attacking it when we're low anyway." Therese, meanwhile glared for a moment, then pounced Ace with a pissed off glare. "YOU ASSHOLE!!!"

Ace was immediately tackled into the shallows, though instead of getting angry or anything of the sort, he smirked, a slightly odd expression in his eyes. "What's the matter? I told you that I was going to give you a reason to mope. Your own fault for not listening." He said, not even fighting. "So I don't see why you're jumping on me."

Therese glared as she raised a fist, ready to pop him one. She took a deep breath, then hit him directly in the face. "SHUT UP! I don't... I hate you, okay! Just leave me alone!"

By then, Glenn had already disappeared. He was long gone, and he was not going to deal with them. "Geez, blossoming love much?" he asked himself, realizing that this was how Anna was. She always bashed him over the head for doing something stupid back in the day. "Anna, I promise I'll be coming soon. I know it's been a couple weeks but... I'll be home before you know it!"

Just then he heard a small growl deep in the waters below.

Ace smiled. "What's the matter? You hit like a girl!" He said, laughing as if he didn't even know about the growling. Perhaps he didn't. "Besides, it looks like your knight just ditched us alone here!" He laughed. "So what, are you going to try to hit me again? You suddenly got all moody... It's because you enjoyed what happened earlier, isn't it?"

Therese got up and ran after Glenn, deciding to play the silent game. She had it with the man, and no more did she want to deal with him. She couldn't wait til she finished the trek at this point. She continued to wander around, wondering where Glenn went.

It was not too long before Glenn appeared, his entire body covered in blood, his green eyes having surfaced once again.

"Great, what did he do now?" Ace asked with a shrug. "Bloody Marty, Bloody Marty, Bloody Marty!" He said with a smirk. "Now what was all this about?" He asked.
