I'm a huge faggot, please rape my face.
This rp is between me and Kiki (Chaos). This will be a slightly weird rp, considering that we will be using animals, not humans. Plus, we will be writing in paragraph format most of the time, but, every once in awhile, we kind of don't. :D

So, without further ado.... Let us begin!

Character Rubric:

Name:
Species:
Appearance:
Background:

Once we post our rubric, I will begin my massively long introduction. (:

-wave wave- o.o

Name: "Stone"

Species: Guardian Dragon

Appearance:

Dragon (The one I'll be using)
Spoiler: click to toggle

Human (lol messy)
Spoiler: click to toggle

Background: Deep within a dense and solitary forest, there existed an enormous shrine that contained a gem of surpassing beauty... and of great life giving power. Alongside it existed a clan of dragons known as the guardian dragons. They drew their power from the gem and in turn protected it with their very lives. But one day, a traveling human stumbled upon their sanctuary, and swiftly reported his findings to a nearby village... They gathered together their strongest of sorcerers and began laying siege to shrine in attempt to steal the gem and its power. The Guardians put up their best fight, but were no match for the humans' magic. They cast spells turning all of the guardians, one by one, to stone. One dragon in particular however wasn't going to go down so easily. In one final attempt to save the precious gem, it struck it with all of its might, shattering it into millions of pieces and scattering them in all directions for miles. At least now the gem's power couldn't be used for evil, it thought to itself as it felt its body harden mid-flight and plummet to the ground, crumbling on impact. The humans left in a rage, destroying what most of what was left of the shrine and most of the guardians. Hundreds of years went by, and soon all that was left was a single dilapidated dragon statue that had acquired quite an odd series of cracks...

Name: Miruko (formerly "Lightning")
Species: Dog-like creature
Appearance: Miruko has grayish-black fur with lime green highlights on the tips and lime green markings on his ears, paws, and tail. Across his left eye is a lime green lightning bolt. He has lime green eyes and can usually be seen "glowing" because of the large amount of fireflies that accompany him.
Background: Lightning was abandoned at a young age and had to fend for himself and his two siblings. Eventually, his brother went missing and Lightning and his sister went off to find him. After having searched for him for a long time, they eventually found him. Though, he killed Lightning's sister and this caused Lightning to kill him. After that, Lightning changed his name to "Miruko", trying to start a new life with a clean plate. That is when he met Komaico, his firefly companion. Later on in his life, he dealt with severe heartbreak and neglect.

Name: Komaico
Species: Firefly
Appearance: She looks like Navi from LoZ. All you can see is her lime green glow, but, she does have a different look when seen up close.
Background: She doesn't really have a background because she was born a few days before meeting Miruko.

The sun made its way over the horizon, washing the Earth in its warm embrace. It was just another typical morning, nothing too out of the ordinary. The birds sang their cheerful tune just as they had every day; it was just another day in the forest. The trees swayed gently in the slight breeze, leaving the leaves to hold on for dear life as they were tossed around in the breeze. Though, with the correct amount of wind, no leaf was safe. Just like any living thing, with the correct amount of stress, none are safe, not even the strongest individual. Be it leaf or living thing, wind or stress, every little thing has a breaking point. Everything falls, though, some never rise again. Such as the small, solitary leaf, the one on the outermost branch of the Oak tree that led the way into the forest. There had once been leaves around it, though, they had already been picked up by birds hoping to build a nest to nurse and nurture their young. Therefore, only one remained on the branch, un-protected and un-sheltered from the wind, awaiting a certain end, nothing could change its fate.

Meanwhile, the forest had been alive with the chatter of birds, insects, and other creatures. The steady chatter made the forest an ideal place to meditate and relax. However, not many people knew of this forest except for ruin maniacs and scholars that had wandered upon it while doing their studies. Though, activity such as that had been scarce to none as of late. Plus, the forest was complex, not many visitors reached the heart of it and others didn't have the will power to do so. Today was no different, the visitor that had wandered his way into the forest would soon be gone, though, he might be one of the ones that persevered and indeed make it to the heart of this seemingly normal forest...

“I still don't know why I'm here...” A voice proclaimed, gruffly and somewhat annoyed. The owner of the voice stepped out into a small clearing that was inside of the forest. He looked as if he was a dog of some sort, the only differences were his ears and tail, they were whip-like and stringy. “This place looks nice,” he exclaimed, glancing around the area and then lowering himself onto his haunches. He had an eerie glow around his grayish, almost black fur. “Lets rest here.” He added, nodding slightly. His ears fell into his eyes which caused him to shake his head to clear his vision. Almost instantly after his statement, the glow around him seemed to dissolve and move in different directions around the clearing, except for one lime green orb that stayed perched on his shoulder. He lifted his lime green paw off of the grass and looked at it, then put it back down softly. “Alright, lets keep going,” he exclaimed, standing back up and making his way further into the forest. The glowing orbs scrambled back around him, not wanting to be left behind...

Chaos

Silence.

It can be defined as the complete lack of sound. It can be a state of tensity. Neutrality... Beauty. It is a fragile thing that can be completely obliterated with even the smallest whisper.. The silence of the forest was soon shattered like glass as a twig snapped under the foot of an outsider...

A heart lurched. It felt so strongly still, even in its current state of stone...

The sun danced on the broken stones of the ruin... They glinted ever so slightly, as if each spot of light was a tear, expressing their immeasurable sorrows of what they had become... Nothing more than rubble on the floor of a forgotten forest, destroyed by the avarice and coveting of impure hearts... An immobile figure rested a short distance away, it's unmoving eyes seemingly full of envy and hatred at each and every movement that passed before it... It, too, had once been full of life and energy... But was now rendered immobile - A spectator in the game of life in which it participated no more... It was in the shape of a dragon.. It was missing a horn and wing, and had acquired various cracks and chips.... The red gem and gold laurel wreath on its head were its last traces of color, and even they were dull and lackluster...

Its heart lurched again... It was as if it were being awakened by the outsider's presence... Awakened by the aching convictions of failure... Failing its very purpose in life, and there was absolutely nothing that could be done. Its state of brokenness seemed to amplify with each second the intruder drew closer... Each step like daggers to its very soul..

Its spirit bled.

Not of crimson, but of agony.

The intruder was close now, as tension and unrest seemed to pour out of the statue's being.. Closer... Closer it moved... until the outsider finally set foot right into center of the clearing... and met the unwavering eyes of the guardian at last.

The canine tore through the forest, having to lower himself to the ground frequently to avoid branches that blocked his path. "What in the....?" He muttered, squinting at the sudden exposure of sunlight. He took a few more steps into the clearing, looking around at all that was left of the ruins.

Of course, the glowing orbs seemed to dissolve and scatter just as they had before. "That is odd.." The dog spoke, watching the orb that had once perched on his shoulder. The glow floated forward, drawing his attention to the statue that sat in the center.

"What is this, Komaico?" He inquired, furrowing his brow and stepping towards the statue cautiously. "Huh... it's in pretty good condition, compared to the others.." The dog spoke, gesturing around at the ruins surrounding the statue. He paced around the guardian statue, then sat down when he finally met the gaze of the statue. Cocking his head, he sat there, glancing into the eyes of the once very much alive guardian. His tail flicked as he thought.

Finally, he looked at the ground, noticing am oddly shaped stone piece. 'This is odd, looks like it goes here...' He thought, picking the heart shaped piece of stone up with his mouth and manipulating it to fit into the indention on the dragon. "There you go.. I don't know why I just did that, but, whatever." His tail flicked in annoyance as he looked at the guardian once more.
