rplow Posted 2/6/2008 3:29:32 PM: ~Drake's Epilouge~
The kingdom of humans in Carleon was flourishing. Under Drake's rule, the kingdom had gone under reconstruction. Where everything had been dead or dieing under Widdershin's rule, the hills around Fortuna city were flourishing with amber waves of grain. The city had a white wall of granite running around the city. The castle had also been rebuild. now, it was a dazzling white marble. It was truely a wonder to behold. People had started to flock back, and now the city square was bistling with trade and stands. And it wasn't just humans either. A little less than half of the popultation of Fortuna City were angelus, with a sizable population of Elves and Half elves, with even a few dwarves here and there. The city had also started to expand, made obvious by the former city walls, that had been destroyed under Widdershin and then rebuilt, encompassing only the middle of the city, where the most important buildings were. Even now, houses were expanding past the current walls. Fortuna city was well on it's way to becoming the trade capitol of this part of Carleon.
Drake, as one of his first decrees as king, had established the Alliegence of Races, where a leading representaive from all the races in this part of Carleon came together to work things out, and hopefully avoid wars (Think U.N. type set up). Right now, it was working; Carleon was currently experiencing it's most peaceful period since Solstice was dethroned.
Drake had also established an actual Royal Guard, made up primarily of the people who had been part of the dragon Resistance and survied the affair. They had run the impersinators from Widdershin's regime out of town, and were even begining to except new recruits into their ranks. It was becoming the crack squad of Drake's regime; only the most talented and intellegent soldiers managed to get in. But then again, they had the most important job in Carleon, to keep peace and order, and to keep Drake alive. For although he had brought about a great peace, there were still a few sour critics who occasionally were difficult and opposed Drake. But they were the minority, so it didn't particuarly matter.
Korstav had started to become the primary port in Werites Beacon. With funding from Drake, the city was booming. From a birds eye view, you could see a multitude of fishing ships sailing about, and in port, quite a few huge ships and airships, sporting colors from all over the world. The market there during the high season became a rainbow of stands and flags from just about everywhere. Drake had even started to assemble a navy of ships, although he wasn't particuarly sure he would need it. The only big country on the other side of the sea was Thor, and they were one of Werite's Beacon's biggest traders, so Drake didn't see any trouble there.
Oh yes, being King was good.

RusherMan Posted 2/6/2008 6:08:38 PM: Krysta's Epilogue
Krysta returned to the village where her father lived, where she was greeted with open arms, bursting with pride. She aided the others through the shadows over the years, but was never really seen in the open.
