Valor blinked. "Where... Am I now?" He asked. Only moments ago he had been talking to Kain, but then the world had disintegrated around him. He thought he had found his peaceful sleep, but now...

He appeared to be in a park with a blue sky. "How quaint." He said, unsealing his wings. He flew up for a bit, but stopped. "What..." He'd reached a ceiling. "This is... False? A simulated sky." He looked around and saw several doors. Wherever he was, it was indoors.

"Um... Shane? You might want to take a look at this" "What is it, Arlia?" "It looks like we have an intruder, but I can't get a reading" "What! Where?" "In the park, sir. What will you have me do?" "Hmm, send Unit 72 to check it out" "As you command" She activated the ship-wide loudspeaker "ATTENTION! UNIT 72! THERE IS AN INTRUDER IN THE PARK! REPORT THERE IMMEDIATELY AND APPREHEND THEM!"

-Meanwhile, Elsewhere on the ship-
"SWEET! Finally some action" Random member of Unit 72 said, putting on his gear and joining the others at the entrance to the park. They entered and fanned out, blocking the doors and exits. The captain stepped forward "Sir! You are unauthorized to be here. Surrender peacefully, and you will not be harmed. Attempt to resist... And we will be forced to kill you" he finished, as the entire unit brandished there weapons...

"What?" Valor asked, landing. "Where is this?" He looked at the people aiming at him. "I do not fear you... He said, Flamberge and Vorpal Sword appearing at his side. "What is going on here?"

The Captain stood his ground, cocking his laser gun "We ask the questions here. Not you. Now again, drop your weapons and surrender! We will use lethal force!" he shouted in a very stern voice, pointing the lasersight right at Valor's head...

Valor shrugged, the swords fading. "Fine, whatever." He said. "I apologize, but I am a little unsure of exactly where this is." He said. I move from realm to realm... Will I ever find peace? He thought.

"Good" The captain said, walking up and pulling out his handcuffs. As he forced Valor to the ground (roughly) and cuffed him, the entire unit dropped their guard and started complaining about wanting action and how nothing exciting happens anymore. The captain activated his wrist communcator to the bridge "Everything is under control. It's just some man. He seems to not know where he is though. Maybe he's a teleporter. We're getting ready to take him to the prison level now".

"Good job Captain. Don't drop your guard just yet though" Arlia said through the communcator.

"Yes Ma'am"...

"..." Valor closed his eyes. Where...? When he opened them, they were glowing slightly. He scanned the area. "A boat...? No... What... What is this?" He asked. He felt around with his ability. "Hey, what exactly is this place?" He asked one of the captors. "I'll know if you're lying." He continued.

"Don't talk to me. I was really itching for a fight" the captor said, getting ready to whack Valor with his gun when the Captain stopped him.

"Relax, he has the right to know where he is if he really IS lost" he then turned to address Valor "You are on the Omega-Class Capital Starcrusier, Eclipse. Any more questions you want to ask?"...

"... Starcruiser?" Valor asked. "You'll have to forgive me if I'm a bit skeptical, but what is that? Something along the lines of an airship?"

"Hahahah!!! He doesn't know what a Starcruiser is!! What are you? Retarded?" Some of the men laughed, while the Captain just gave them stern looks "A Starcruiser is kinda like a boat that sails outer space"...

"Space, huh?" Valor looked up. "Hm... Never really..." He chuckled. "I've lived 500 years and... Well, I've never come into contact with something on this scale. Then again... I suppose it's like Richard's 'earth' then. Space travel indeed."

"What in the blazes are you talking about? What's 'Urth'" A soldier asked "Who's Richard? And are you seriously only 500? Wow, you're young!"

"Really now?" Valor asked, raising a brow. "Odd enough considering that put me as the second oldest being to live on my planet that wasn't a god. Only older one was my best friend's uncle." He shrugged. "But I digress... Truly this should be a learning experience..." He sighed afterward. "Though my death does seem to be in a continual cycle of... Whatever the hell is going on here."

"Okay, that's enough. We've reached the prison level. I'm handing you over to the Warden. Stay here and behave" the captain said, walking over to the desk to sign Valor in.

~5 minutes later~

"Okay, You going to cell 143 to await interrogation by our High Air Commander, Shane Sanga. After interrogation you will then await trial and judging on the verdict will either be released or incarcerated. Do you understand?"

"... Fair enough, though I do warn you, upon the case of incarceration, I am unlikely to sit still." Valor said with a sigh. "To be honest, were it not for the... Odd circumstances that led me here, I would be unlikely to stay here at all... Even more likely to have just... Well, I'd best not be too hasty in that statement." He shrugged. "Though may I make a small request?"

"Enouugh with the likelys already. One. You get one request. Make it a good one" The Warden advised as the Captain and his unit had left...

"Some reading material. Operations manual, novel, novella, anything. Though while it would work, picture books would not be preferred. Perhaps you have something on the nature of starcruisers that I might familiarize myself with?" Valor said to the captain. "I trust that is a request simple enough that it can be accommodated."

"That can be arranged" The warden went and sent for a book on the history of starcruisers. 5 minutes later a soldier came back with a massive leather bound book easily surpassing 2,000 pages. The warden took it and handed it to Valor "Also if you wish to learn about our religon, there's a Draco Tome in the desk drawer"...

"I never have really been one for theology." Valor said. "All religion roots in your average man, in the end. One who usually had a few screws loose." He started reading the tome.

One page...

Two pages...

Three pages...

Twelve... Ninety six...

By an hour's passing, Valor had already finished 861 pages.
