~The 20 year gap~ Airez fell to the ground after Maria placed the memory seal on him. His vision faded in and out . . . He saw a pair of white boots walk toward him. The replica struggled to look up to see the person. It was Dhaku but Airez no longer knew the man. The scientist took Airez to his base . . . Twenty years have passed since that day. Airez now works for an organization called the Brotherhood under the leadership of Dhaku. Dhaku has ceased all communications with Solstice so he could hide that he has custody over Airez. The man knew the replica's potential and intended to use it for his own ends. During this time Airez met Ean and Mike two soon-to-be key players in the struggle against Solstice that was to come. Now we fast forward . . . Airez's Brotherhood emblem being crushed . . . Ore the Oresoren . . . Meeting Leira, Liam, Desja, Koran and Henry . . . The truth behind Liam and Leira . . . What the Flames of Life truly are . . . Kai, Daemonica and his Gorill-Gore monsters . . . Killing Lucas and witnessing his friend Mike turn into an expshere . . . Finding Areil . . . Airez finally remembering who he was and what he is . . . ~Chokepoint! Part Three: Confused Warrior?~ The six god generals stood at the entrance to Solstice's palace. They had confirmed that Airez, who was thought dead has been sighted. Alive. All of them were happy their commadant was still breathing. Even Asch showed the faintest of smiles. They had done everything to help Airez unseal the seal placed on his memory. They all did what they felt was right. Asch grunted as the famous Leira Raine entered the floating palace. "If it isn't the little commando now. I'm glad you showed up. Everyone used to appraise our power til you and your younger brother were born. Now it's time to show them who's still at the top!" Leira unsheathed her daggers. "Try me." She said coldly. Asch drew his sword, Sync cracked his knuckles, Legretta turned the safety off her pistols, Largo readied his sycthe, Dist turned on his Kaiser Dist bot and Arietta jumped onto her liger mount. When they all began their charge a man in black armor stepped in front of them. "Airez!" Arietta said happily. "All of you, stand down. I'll deal with her." They all teleported away. He turned to a confused Leira. "Leira, don't even talk. If you pull out the old fashioned: 'Oh please don't do it darling!' crap I will kill you. I'm going to kill you anyway so it doesn't really matter. And if you actually believed in that sappy stuff then I have one thing to say to you; you are a very gullible girl. Just falling in love with someone who merely blushed when you were in pain. I was ordered to gain your trust any way I can." Airez punched the woman across the cheek sending her flying. "You better hope you're friends will come to help you!" Leira skidded across the white marlbe floor. Already Liam and Koran had arrived to the scene. He smirked at Koran being shirtless. 'Aren't we a tough guy?' "So, Airez, I really thought you'd changed. But we all know you aren't stupid. Think you can take on three of us at once?" Koran asked pulling out Zekcagok. Airez ignored Koran and grinned evilly as Leira stood up, obviously pissed. Pointing the Vorpal sword at him. "I can't believe this . . . I must admit I did place my trust in you and I did love you, but after what you pulled off . . ." Ariel appeared, replacing her right side. "You are nothing but scum. I told you, if you betrayed her, I'd make sure that Leira would kill you. And now, that time has come. I have never trusted you in the beginning. Now, die." The two of them spoke. Leira's body took charge and pulled off a quick retaliation punch, throwing off Airez's guard. She then threw a kick and then a right hook, but before she could lay the last blow, something stopped her. Her sword was at Airez's chest, but no matter how hard she pressed on, it was to no avail. "W-what's going on!?" Ariel and Leira yelled at Airez. "He's a demon now!" Koran said. "Only the Eternal Sword can hurt him and its now split in two and I bet Airez won't hand over the Flamberge for you to kill him, Leira." He explained walking to him. "I was going to let you killing my parents slide, Airez but since you've switched sides on us. I'm killing you myself." "Leira, Liam. Go on ahead to Solstice. I'll catch up once I'm done with him." "NO! NONE OF YOU WILL LEAVE THIS FIGHT!" Airez shouted putting on a ring. A force field surrounded the door to Solstice's room. He aslo lowers his demonic shield. "Now its fair!" Airez quickly elbows Leira and runs behind. Throwing awkwardness to the wind, he pulls up the back of her shirt and places a hand on her Angelus tattoo. This calms it down and stops Solstice from taking hold of Leira. 'Hold out for a little longer Leira. Please.' Airez thought jumping back and facing Koran. "Well this is convenient. Now you get to avenge your parents." Airez said to him, slashing at the man making sure not to fatally wound him. Purple flames surrounded Zekcagok as Koran slammed his sword into the replica's side. Henry then entered the fight. "Rest in this merciless(or should I say, merciful) silver embrace- ABSOLUTE!" He yelled, encasing Airez in a small glacier, but not shattering it as the spell usually did. "Hopefully that will hold him for a while..." Henry spoke. Once the ice shattered Leira and Koran attacked Airez yet again. Leira slammed Airez into the ground from the air, making debris fly everywhere. "Now I'm just pissed off because of your words earlier. Even after what Ariel told me . . . you still need an ass-whooping. SERIOUSLY!!!" She pushed him further into the ground, forcing a great amount of strength into her arms. 'So they figured it out, huh?' Airez thought unleashing his flames of destruction arte on Leira, blowing her away. "So you think I'm going to lose Ms. Vulnerable? I think NOT!" He got up and slashed Henry in the shoulder. The wound was serious this time. He then jumped back and switched to a defensive stance. 'I hope they still ACT like I'm really betraying them.' Airez thought. Leira healed Henry but instantly came behind Airez. 'I never seen her that fast before!' She ziggzagged her way toward him. Then it happened. Leira fell to her knees pain coursing through her. 'Dammit! Solstice found out!' Airez ran over to her side. Before he could do anything a wet sensation went down his stomach. He looked down to spot a bullet wound in his stomach. "This time you'll die, traitor! Prism Bullet!" Legretta yelled firing her pistol. Airez's eyes widened as the bullet went through his head. His body fell next to Leria, Flamberge clacking on the ground. "Looks like I'm not a . . . good actor . . ." He said before hitting the ground. Legretta then turned her weapons to Leira. "Now its your turn!!!!" |

~Chokepoint! Part 4: Six on Six~ Airez ran through a dimly lit hallway within the palace. On his belt jingled a small sack of rings. He smirked knowing he had done a good job of fooling everyone. He slid down a ladder and saw the battle field below him. "Tch. Spirit of Hellfire I summon thee! Come Efreet!" Fire erupted below all the God-Generals, causing them to pile up in one big heap. Airez quickly crossed his arms and went into a side profile stance. He wanted his big re-entrance to be flashy. Also his ego was talking to him for once. "It looks like you killed my doppleganger! You know how long it took me to make that S.O.B? Too long if you ask me!" Airez jumped down and ran next to everyone placing a ring on each of their fingers'. "Okay guys, if we want to get to Solstice in time we have to go one-on-one with these six." Airez drew and pointed Flamberge at Sync. "You. Are mine." He surged forward, knocking Sync back. "You're the only things in our way now!" "Guess I'll have to smack you later for that Airez." Leira/Ariel glowered, speaking powerfully. Airez saw Leira charge at Legretta. "Let us see who the true reaper is Largo!" Liam said as he readied his scythe. "One on one, eh? Fine by me. You can be a warm up for Solstice." Koran said as he ran at Asch. "I'll take the ugly guy in the chair!" Henry yelled, figuring he would have the easiest time with him. He couldn't be more wrong, however, as Dist summoned Kaiser Dist DX to deal with the little pest. "*Gulp* Can I change my mind?" "So it has come to this." Sync said standing up. "Sync, you do realize that when Solstice revived you six, he also wiped your memories. With that he lured you into doing his bidding." Sync charged Airez. "You think I believe in those lies?! I knew you should've never been made!" Chunks of rock came from the ground making Airez take flight. In mid-air, Sync punched down on Airez' stomach. He fell through the floor into a dimly lit cavern. "Don't think I'm out yet!" Airez put his fingers to his mouth. His whistle echoed throughout the chamber. A small flame now hovered next to his shoulder. "Now its like I have another sword right here!" The flame circles around him, temporarily making Sync hesitate. In that hesitance, Airez attacked . . . 'Dammit! He's too fast!' Airez thought as Sync let loose yet another volley of rapid punches. All over Airez' skin were bruises. He kneeled due to the pain over his entire body. Sync walked up to the crouched Airez and punched him squarely in the head, knocking him out. 'That was a little TOO easy,' Sync thought as he hefted Airez over his shoulder. "Hey! Anybody up there?" He yelled up to the main chamber. "Need some help?" Legretta answered. "Are we going to take him to Solstice?" She asked. "Yes, I'm sure Solstice would like to see his little brother in person. Help me take him and-" A shadow appears behind Legretta and she is hit by a giant warhammer, caving in most of her body. This figure became clearer, its left hand, one giant mutated shield. "If anyone is to kill him it is I!" Kai yelled. He jumped down the hole closing in on Sync. Sync drew out one of Legretta's pistols. Instead of pointing it at Kai, he pointed it at Airez head. Kai immediately stopped. A small rift appeared behind Sync. He jumped in along with Airez in tow. The rift vanishes. "Too late," Kai said to himself. "I must tell the others!" He jumped back up the hole, then after a few minutes he caught up to the group. "I am your ally. I wish to help you in the fight against Solstice. I can use my powers to help." Kai said in the politest way he could. Which wasn't very polite at all. And soon all of the God-Generals were killed. All of Airez's past friends, killed. There loss would affect the man for a while but all in all it didn't do too much. The heroes would go on to defeat Solstice. Then they would all settle down on Carleon, living peaceful lives. But that didn't mean all adventures had ceased. This was only the beginning of time for the newly freed world . . . . |

~Forget Manhunt. It's time for ElfHunt~ ~Tarr/Terios~ Tarr, Aden and Vike ran through the forest. Tarr out in front closely followed by Aden. Vike on the other hand was a few feet behind thanks to his heavy armor and giant axe. Though his speed maybe reduced greatly nearly nothing could stand up to that armor and massive axe. It had saved the new gang of Checker Knights plenty of times. Now running through what looked like a jungle the quickly slipped behind the cover of a big tree. Letting Zaren adn Kinan's bots run past them. "Alright everyone know the plan?" Tarr asked his two allies. Aden grinned and nodded very fast as he gave a thumbs up. He was about to kill and that made him very excited. Vike just gave him a deep nod looking at Aden strangely. "Is killing people Aden's equivalent to caffeine?" Vike asked. "We have no time for commentaries, Vike. Let's get this over with." The Raine said as he readied his two daggers. The giant man hefted his axe over his shoulder and trotted toward an clearing in the jungle floor. "Come out come out wherever you are!!!" Zaren called out as he entered the previously mentioned clearing. "Oh well if it isn't Kite bot 980! Why don't you come back to your masters?" He asked unsheathing his lare broadsword. "Vike the Giant belongs to no man!" He said holding his axe out with both hands. "Oh yeah? AEGIS STRIKE!" Zaren shouted shoving his sword into the ground as beads of mana shot out at Vike. The man's armor stodd up against it as he barreled forward like a tank. "TEMPEST FANG!" Vike unleahsed the arte. It was like tempest instead of the person spinning forward a wave of energy did so for him. Thus the fang part in the name. It cut Zaren forcing him to jump back. "You think you're so tough! BOTS!!!" He shouted. Soon dozens of bots surrounded Vike. Zaren grinned. "So feeling confident now? And where are your friends now, 980?" "RIGHT UNDER YOUR NOSE!!!" Aden yelled as all the bots crumpled into heaps. Actually they were already in pieces. It was just that Aden's puppets were holding them up so they would trick the True Elf. Zaren's grin soon turned to a thin line on his lip as he glanced around in a worried state. "You've tried this before! Even then..." The elf held out his sword, pointing it at Vike. "You didn't win!" "This time we will." Tarr said coming out of thin air in front of Zaren. "WHAT?! WHERE-" Before he could even finish his sentence, Tarr jumped up on his sword and was running up it toward Zaren himself. A black cape rested on his shoulders. Tarr then slit the man's throat as he stepped on his fingers when he came to the sword's hilt. "Damn....Kinan....." Were Zaren's last words as he dropped dead. Aden dropped out of a tree and smiled at the sight. "Well good thing you found that old shadow cloak in that house of yours!" He said cheerfully. Tarr nodded quietly. 'This was . . . Cheska's shadow cloak . . . she gave it to me as a present . . .' He thought quickly dispersing any emotions that were about to rise up. "You know what they say! One down one to go!" The giant said. |

~White Dove~ ~Tarr~ Four shadows moved across the great open plains. One shadow was ahead of the other three . . . "TIDAL WAVE!" Kinan yelled casting the arte at his pursuers. Tarr, Vike and Aden were now covered in water. Tarr knew what arte was coming up next. "INDIGNATION!!!" "Seventh thrust!" Tarr shouted. He flapped his dove white wings into the air and stabbed at the indignation bolt. He went deep inside the bolt and soon it disappeared. Kinan held his breath. 'New tricks, eh?' "Hey I'd focus on us if I were you!" Aden shouted sprinting toward the elf and attempting to stab him with his spear. But the elf easily dodged and blocked nearly all attempts with his wooden staff. Vike then ran up behind him and lifted his axe high above his head. They all knew if that axe even grazed Kinan it would be fatal. Suddenly a doppleganger of Kinan appeared and kicked Vike in the helmet, knocking him over. 'Shoot! We could've gotten him!' Aden thought as he was now on the defensive side. Tarr now joined in using both of his daggers. The two Kinans fought on with the two standing Checker Knights. Vike was still trying to get up. "Why can't you just die!?" Tarr asked as he attacked, angry that the fight was now dragging on. "Too bad for you...." The Kinans said as they both stopped and stood in place. Soon they vanished. Aden huffed and ordered one of his stronger puppets to help lift Vike up. The Raine looked upon the spot where Kinan had disappeared. "Dammit. They were both illusions. We were in a wild goose chase the entire time!" He shouted as he punched a tree in anger. The tree easily collapsed under the power behind the punch. "Not exactly." Someone said behind Tarr. "I simply used the power of time to make my escape." Kinan said holding a book in his hands. "Sorry but this planet's mana is now useless to me. I'll be going to another planet now..." The elf said as a pillar of red light consumed him. the Checker Knights blinked at the bizarre light . . . ~A few days later~ Now the three men were in the ruins of some base. They all wore cloaks to fit the climate. Sand was kicking up and it was very hard to see in the Triet Desert. They entered without getting a greeting from the ones who long ago occupied this place. Tarr lowered his hood and looked down at the book in his hands. The title of it was worn away but the author's name was still readable. The book was made by a man named Edward D. Morrison. Inside the base it seemed like sand and machinery mixed together over time. Vike busted down a door. The bang echoed throughout the base giving Aden a shiver of fear. There were three old Techbirds in the hangar still in good condition. They all examined each one. "They're fine looking to me! Let's hop aboard one and chase after Kinan!" Aden said jumping on one of the Techbirds and playing around with the controls. Vike laughed as Aden's Techbird went comically out of control. Tarr looked beyond the door Vike busted down.... 'Mana sight.' Tarr thought as he was getting a feeling someone other than his two friends were in here. After a few minutes he deactiated it and closed his eyes. A clack was soon heard coming from said hallway. Tarr unsheathed his daggers. He knew he could handle this enemy by himself.... The woman dashed in, unsealing her wings as a few feathers flew off the wings. Tarr did a punch-like motion in order to block the incoming dagger. Then he lifted his other dagger in order to block her short metal staff. "Terios! Where have you been!?" She asked in an angry but also concerned voice. "None of your business!" He said making a bubble of seventh fonons to push her back off of him. "Terios Fang Raine! Listen to your mother!" Lune said shaking off her hood to look at her son. Her muscles twitched as she saw her son glaring at him. His now jet black long hair. The light in his eyes, gone. "Get out of here, Lune! I no longer need you!" Tarr said. She could've cried at those heartless words but kept strong. Tarr secretly made a wall of seventh fonons so Aden and Vike couldn't hear in on the conversation. They didn't even know Lune had made an entry. "Terios.....Son! Why did you kill Alicia and Jade and Chex!? Why what is the reason for such uncalled for actions!?" She blurted out. Tarr huffed the question aside. "Jade and Alicia annoyed me. Annoyed me with their love..." He said still glaring. "Or were you just jealous that Alicia's lover was still alive?" Tarr spread his legs out into a fighting position, not answering. Lune hung her head low and sighed. "I heard this from your cousin, Airean. One of his soldiers from the Dyecroft was spying on you to see your group's progress. When the spy saw you kill your family members he flew back to the Dyecroft as quick as he could." Lune explained. "Airean asked me to find you. I want you to come back to your senses!" "Enough wretch!" "Terios! She's dead! Grow up and deal with it!!!" Lune said almost to the point of crying. Tarr growled remembering Valor's words. His mother and Valor's words were nearly alike in regards to Reis' death. And what he should do about it. The son surged forward knowing full well he could over power his own mother with speed alone. Tears were now streaking her cheeks as she defended herself from her own son's attacks. A white dove shot out of nowhere as it flew into the air. 'I usually do this attack with Shinta but...I'll have to do it by myself this time...' Lune thought. "YULIA'S BREATH!!!" She shouted as she practically turned into a whirlwind and ramed into Tarr. Tarr was hurt but used seventh fonons to cut through the tornado. He hesitated one moment. His mother was just floating in the air twirling around and crying. The man grabbed her by the shoulder and kneed her in the stomach. Before she could cough up blood a dagger was already in her chest. The arte ceased as she fell to the ground clutching the dagger on her chest. Lune got it out and threw it to the ground as blood soon covered her black outfit. Tarr snarled seeing his mother still alive. He picked her up by the collar of her shirt and held her up high. "Die why don't you!? You pathetic excuse for a mother!" Tarr stabbed his mother in the stomach as she yelped in pain. Some of her tears dotted Terios' shirt. "Teri....os..." Lune was close enough to stretch her arms out and hook them around his neck. She struggled to hug her son as she died. Her arms soon drooped to her side. Tarr lowered her, spat on her face and threw her aside. He lowered the barrier that had stopped Vike and Aden from noticing. By now Aden was flying over on his Techbird. "What's up? What did we miss?" Aden asked looking at the blue haired woman. "Just a bandit." Tarr lied. "I didn't feel the need to get you two involved in soemthing so easy as her." He explained. "Let's chase after Kinan with these Techbirds." He said before hopping on one and flying off.... On Lune Samantha Raine's corpse stood her beautiful white dove. It looked like the bird was looking down at her sadly as it guarded the corpse from any who would distrub the mother's eternal sleep..... |

~Tarr~ Tarr, Aden and Vike had been traveling for a while. They used some sort of transporter the old Desian base in the Triet desert had. Ever since they entered it a stream of rainbows surrounded them. Tarr felt like he wasn't going anywhere. At leat felt. Suddenly the rainbows ceased and Aden shook his Techbird in surprise. He spiraled out of control and hit desert sand. The puppeteer rubbed his head as he spat out grains of sand. "Hey what the hell man?! We didn't get anywhere!" He complained as Vike and Tarr landed their techbirds near him. They scanned the nearby area. It WAS a desert. Did they really not go anywhere at all? "There's something different about this desert." Vike said tightening his grip on his axe. "Tension...." Tarr said slowly unsheathing his daggers. Aden blinked and got up holding his spear out. Sand danced across the wind.... A giant red explosion formed out in the distance. It glowed beatifully in the dark night sky. The three Checker knights looked upon it with amazement. "Was that....a magic arte?" Aden asked. Tarr activated his mana sight but found nothing even close to mana in the red plum of destruction. "No. But what could it be?" Just then people could be heard shouting. Not just shouting but shouting in a foreign language...Soon a dozen or so men rose up from a nearby hill of sand. Their guns fixed on the knights. Vike glanced to the other side to see other men rise up as well, they were surrounded. But they stood their ground only Aden looked worried with his terrified expression. The surrounding men spoke their foreign tongue again, none of the knights knew what they were saying. The men were all dressed similarly but at the same time differently. They all wore cloth cloaks and some wore towels around their head some had their faces covered with cloth. And they were all had tanned skin... Another rose up but this one was on his own not near his men. Or more accurately SHE wasn't as closely grouped. Tarr could tell it was a she by her exposed slim belly. There was more skin showing on her. But unlike the others she wore an all crimson pieces of cloth. Could that mean she was somehow important? Either way she at least spoke in a language they understood. "Who are you?" She asked her accent obvious. "We are the Checker knights." Tarr said pointing his daggers at the woman. "And if you want a fight you can have it." The Raine said. Aden being serious for once put an arm across Tarr's chest to stop him. Aden glared into his friend's eyes, communicating with him. With a grunt Tarr backed off. "We are the Checker Knights as my friend says but we do not intend to hurt someone like yourself." Aden said. The woman turned her head distracted. She was talking with one of her troops. The man sweat dropped. "HEY LADY!!! HELLO??? WE DON'T WANT TO FIGHT!!" In reaction to the shouting the other troops clicked off the safeties on their guns. The woman sighed again. "Forgive me but we must be leaving. And we have no time to take in prisoners so..." She snapped her fingers and her men opened fire. Tarr, being in a pissy mood activated his seventh fonons and instantly slashed through all of the clothed covered soldiers. The woman gasped as she felt the arms of one of Aden's puppets wrapped around her. By that time all of her soldiers laid dead. "No! Damn you! You will not take me!" She cried out as she dropped a small ball from her pocket. A cyclone came around her and when the cyclone passed she was nowhere to be seen. "Damn. She got away." Vike said as he scanned the nearby area. They all glanced around at the sand mixed in with the red blood. What was going on? A helicopter dropped out from the clouds and circled the knights. "In the name of the Emperor surrender yourselves!" A man on the helicopter said training hos gun on the three. And this was a big gun. Tarr unsealed his white wings but then realized that by the time he was flying to the enemy he'd be dead. Tarr dropped his daggers to the sand floor and put his hands up. "I'm tired of this. We might actually know where we are if we do this." He explained as the other two nodded knowing what he meant and did the same as him... ~Some time later~ Aden yawned a colossal yawn as he laid down on his comfy bed. He was finally relieved that he was in a reasonable bed for once. He glanced outside his window to see bright blue skies and puffy white clouds. The man needed to relax. It may be his last time after knowing what had happened the night before.... The three had been captured. But the people that held them took an interest in them. Soon they were all sitting down at a big metallic table, talking. "Tell me where we are, whats going on and just what the hell you want with us?" Tarr asked coldly as a shadowed figure sat up form the table and laughed. "Get right to the point don't you, son?" The man said continuing to laugh. "Come sit. I have no intention of harming those who do not deserve to be." He said as chairs appeared for them. Vike sat down and the other two followed suit. "Now then let me explain everything to you...." "My name is Drusus Antony Grieffon, emperor of the Grieffon Empire. My family has controlled this planet for many centuries." "Wait." Aden said. "If you've been ruling Carleon for that long then why haven't we heard of you?" Drusus blinked. "I beg your pardon but this planet is called Earth and the year is 2000." All of the knights eyes widened. "I can also probably guess that you're from another planet seeing you appeared on our radars out of nowhere and strange craft we've never seen." The Emperor said. "But why don't you hold us prisoner and treat us like aliens then?" Tarr asked. Drusus chuckled slightly. "You catch on fast. You'll need that when the time comes." He said. "Let's make a bargain. You do a favor for the entire planet and I'll give you back your vehicles." Drusus said again as Vike huffed. "So yer gonna use us?" "You killed easily thirty or so enemies when you were obviously surrounded. Yet you were wearing nothing but something seen in the Middle ages along with weapons of that era. And you killed them all without any trouble." Drusus smirked. "Of course I want to use you. If you wish to keep your freedom then try but the odds are against you." "What would you have us do?" Tarr asked... Aden sighed as he looked away from the pretty sky no longer reliving the night before. He hopped off the bed and went outside. Aden winked to one of the cute Grieffon maids as she blushed. "There's no time for that, you idiot." Tarr said coming out of nowhere and slapping Aden in the forehead. "OW!" The man siad rubbing his head. "We have to find that woman we met last night." Tarr said. "Vike's already on a drop ship. We're going back to that desert area. They call it...the Middle East." The two were soon stepping on the sand grains of Afghanistan. The hot desert sun beated down on their necks as they traveled across the sands all by themselves. The empire didn't see fit to send some of their own troops with three guys dressed up as knights from the middle ages. The sun went down below the horizon as the three spotted a bon fire in the desert. It was near some rock formations as they once again heard the language of the Afghan terrorists. "I'm tired of taking the long way." Tarr said sweat still dripping off of him. He whipped out his two daggers and charged in as Vike and Aden quickly followed in order to keep up. They hacked and slashed their way through the camp as the sound of Ak-47s lit up the night. The small bullets couldn't penetrate Vike's heavy armor. Tarr was too fast to be hit and Aden used his earth element spells and puppets to defend himself. Now the knights were the only moving thing in the campsite. The hanging drapes of a tent were pushed aside in the air as that beatful woman they saw last night walked toward them. She ripped off the cloth covering her lower face, revealing attractive lips. Tarr was unfazed by the beauty. He hoped his two allies would do the same... "So you have come." She said taking off more of the heavier cloaks on her. "And you killed all my men. Not like I cared for them but you certainly have ruined my plans." She held out her blade, an ancient rapier. "I wish to fight you. The one with hair as black as night." The woman said motioning for Tarr. He walked up to her his daggers at the ready. "I have no time for this, wretch!" Tarr shouted, immediately speeding towards her and whacking the rapier out of her hand. She gritted her teeth. To all of their surprises a fireball shot out of the woman's hands at Tarr. He dodged it but he was caught off guard by this. Seemed like the woman herself was surprised as well. Taking advantage of this, Tarr practically pounced on the woman and held her down by her brown hair pushing her down to the ground with his other arm. "Now I want to know something...." "Who are you?" "My name is Cinder....." Tears formed in Cinder's eyes. "Cinder......Hussein!" |

~Tarr~ ~Grieffon Imperial court room* Tarr leaned against the wall as he watched the case. Though he really even should call it a "case" it was pretty obvious Cinder would be put to death for standing up against the Empire. He didn't really care for her any, he just wanted to continue searching for Kinan. The Elf had stolen some summon spirits from Carleon. It was dangerous for the spirits to be away from their respective worlds.... "...Then it is decided. Cinder Hussein you shall be killed fro your treason to the Empire." Drusus stated. Cinder herself was unfazed by the news. "Sergeant, take her out of here. And deal with her while-" A rumble shook the building. "Yo what was that?" Aden asked who was cross-legged sitting down next to Tarr. "Control? What is it?" Drusus asked as a small hologram of a man appeared on his desk. "Your Majesty! Someone is attacking Times Square in New York City! We're trying to hold him off but-AHH!" The hologram vanished. Vike looked over at Tarr. "It's Kinan, isn't it?" The Raine member drew one of his daggers. "You bet it is." He answered. "Ah so your friend IS on this world," The emperor said getting out of his chair, "Checker Knights...You know what to do." Vike and Tarr began to walk out of the court room until Aden spoke out. "Hey your royal-ness! Why don't you have this Cinder gal here work with us? I mean she could at least be of some use before she dies..." Aden suggested not trying to make himself sound like he only wanted to protect the woman. "Fine. Cinder Hussein go with them. But don't try to kill yourself on purpose or try to escape." Drusus said and left. Cinder blinked at the three men, unsure of what to think. "I.....uh...." She looked down at the ground. Aden grinned and walked forward. "Don't worry we make LOOK like creeps but we're actually pretty normal people. 'Cept old Tarr over yonder." He said looking at Tarr to get a glare in response. "And you think you're normal, Aden?" Vike challenged. Aden's eyelids fell, covering half of his eyeball in annoyance. "I like puppets okay? Is that a problem?" "It is when grown men play with life sized action figures." Cinder said and laughed a little. "THEY'RE NOT ACTION FIGURES THEY'RE DOLLS! WAIT! NO NOT DOLLS!! PUPPETS!!!" He said now bursting out. Tarr closed his eyes as Vike and Aden argued over whether Aden was using dolls, action figures or puppets. As this happened, Cinder walked away into another room. When Tarr woke up from his failed attempt at a meditation he went to search for Cinder. He opened a door and bumped right into her. Except this time...She was wearing long pink pants with stylish black blobs scattered about it. The woman also had a white fur coat on. She only had the coat buttoned at one place so it wouldn't fall off. "There! Now I'm ready to rock!" Cinder said without her Middle Eastern accent. Tarr blinked in confusion. "What? I was born and raised in America. If this will freak you out wait til we get to times square." She said passing him and giving him a light friend;ly punch on the shoulder. 'Oh great. Attractive AND annoying. Just what I need...." Tarr thought sarcastically. "Stop staring at her smei-exposed woman parts, Aden." Tarr said as he picked up the man with one arm carrying him away from staring at Cinder's new look. The 4 new knights boarded a helicopter their destination times square. The vehicle landed smack dab in the middle of the square adn the four knights piled out. Some of the huge screens on the side of the buildings were broken. The edges of a few buildings were also torn off. "Looks like I have a few stalkers following me around the galaxy." Kinan said as he stood on top of one of the smaller buildings. "This place is great. I can absorb so much electricity here..." He said looking at his hand while sparks dashed across it. Aden summoned a puppet, Vike readied his giant axe and Cinder drew out her two cutlasses. Tarr also drew out his two daggers. "You won't run away this time, Kinan." A fire arte from the Raine was already sent out to Kinan. He simply waved his hand at it when it came close. "Easy...Now I have no time for this so I'll end it fast for your sake." A giant storm cloud formed over the square. The group's eyes widened as a giant red orb was falling towards them. 'Is that...a comet!?' Tarr thought. 'Have to stop it...I'm the only one with ice artes.' He thought again running up a tall building. Wind began swirling around. The Raine member looks below him to see the others fight Kinan. Without him they wouldn't have much time... Tarr stood on the tallest building nearby and looked up at the comet. With ice coating his skin he flew up to the giant mass and blew with all his might, with all his mana to freeze the thing solid. "THERE! CELESTIAL STORM!!!!" Tarr said now pointing his palms to the comet. The mix of light mana and seventh fonons made the mass of rock explode. Tiny shards rained down upon the deserted city. 'There's something weird about these rocks...they have....a mana signature...' Tarr looked down at the four fighting on the ground. He could see the small rocks embedding themselves into his friends' skin. He dive bombed down as quickly as he could. This turned out to be an attack on Kinan. A cloud of dust where Tarr landed next to Kinan appeared. "OW! WHAT THE HELL!!!" Aden growled in pain at the shards getting into his skin. Vike and Cinder also cried out in pain and fell due to the pain. Tarr activated his mana sight, seeing that Kinan had disappeared. Looking at his friends he saw.... Angelus wings coming out of them. Not normal Angelus wings but angel wings made of mana. 'Aionis? No way...They're angels now...' "Am I that boring?" Kinan asked sprinting up and attacking Tarr. He deflected some of the attacks. The rain of Aionis didn't seem to affect the elf... "GROUND DASHER!!!" Aden yelled hitting the elf into the air. Flying in, Vike struck down at Kinan. Tarr then kicked the elf away using seventh fonons to blow him farther. "I'll finish him." Tarr spoke and flew off after him. "He thinks he's so cool..." Cinder said watching him go off. The True Elf lay on the concrete unmoving. Tarr came in like a sonic boom, picking up the vulnerable man and dragging him across the cement. He mixed in a few throws into a few buildings leaving the whole city damaged in some way. Tarr lifted the battered figure above his head and kicked him like a soccer ball into the base of the Statue of Liberty. A few giant fireballs and blasts of seventh fonons later, the entire statue collapsed on Kinan. "You better be freakin dead this time..." Tarr commented going back to the other knights. When he arrived at the square Drusus was ther examining one of the Aionis shards in his hand. "What is this, Tarr?" "That is an Aionis crystal. It grants whoever it gets into it's body the lifetime and powers of an Angelus. You also get wings made of mana." Drusus nodded at the explanation. "Commander. Sweep this entire city up and I mean it literally. Don't let anyone into New York City until every single one of these crystals is placed in a secure area in the Grieffon palace." The emperor tossed a small Aionis into his mouth. 'Imperial bastard...wanting to live longer than he should...' Tarr thought looking over at his friends. Vike gave him a thumbs up his wings now out of sight. Cinder looked down at her hands in worry as they were coated in fire. Not much changed for Aden other than having wings and the lifetime of an Angelus added on to his current age. Tarr sighed mentally. At least his new friends won't die of old age anytime soon... ~Tarr~ ~Revenge in Vain~ Terios Fang Raine sat down in his chair in the room Emperor Drusus gave him. No. Wait. Correction: Tarr sat in his chair. The man named Terios died along with Reis long ago. Tarr blinked. This was the first time he had ever thought of Reis. To think, barely one year ago Alicia had helped him get over his alcoholic depression. His mouth dropped half way down. Alicia, Chex, Jade . . . and even his own mother. Chasing the True elves had nearly blinded him of thinking back on these events . . . these deeds. Ever since they came into the picture they had been his main focus. Now that they were gone, he began to think on the past. Before he noticed his wrong doings adn breaking down, Drusus entered. "?" Tarr leveled one of his eyebrows in a questioning look. "Cinder has told us there are still terrorists to be fought. Turns out she wasn't the only leader adn they need to be dealt with." The Emperor explained. "Uh...sure. I'm ready." Tarr said standing up. Drusus noticed his hesitance. "Is something wrong, Checker Knight?" "It's absolutely nothing." He replied a little on the harsh and walked out. Tarr went to the lobby of the Checker knights. "DOOD! This is SOOO cool!" Aden said flapping his mana angel wings. Mana feathers floated off and disappeared before hitting the ground. He giggled a little on the feminine side which disturbed Tarr. Cinder was doing too, only she was floating in the air on her back reading a magazine. Vike was the only one on the ground. "Heh. I like to stay on my feet." Vike said to Tarr when he sat down next to the giant man. "Guess you can call me old fashioned." Vike said again. "Whatever works." Tarr responded glad he had another distracton to well distract him from the past. "Alright guys. Cinder you know what I'm about to say." He said as she put away her wings and landed in front of him. "A terrorist leader has been sighted. He is the last one, with this they will become disorganized and that's when the Grieffons will go in there and finish them off." The four knights went to their dropship. "Hey Cinder? Don't you feel kinda bad...ya know...about to kill your own people?" Aden asked on the rider there. Cinder put a finger to her chin. "Well I really don't. The only reason I inherited the Hussein army was because my mom was grounding me too much and I wanted to run away." . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . "............." Vike blinked at the woman and Aden sweatdropped. "......................" Tarr rolled his eyes at the ridiculous statement. Aww who was he kidding? If he was a trouble maker and his mom grounded him alot, he'd run away and inherit a terrorist faction too. Of COURSE that's like the most normal thing a teenager could do. Seriously. Totally. I'm not lying. Are you stupid if you think I'M lying? ....A-anyway.... Cinder grinned sheepishly at their reactions. "Heh. Did Cinder do too many things with the boys?" Aden asked, not containing himself. She blushed as soon as the pilot's voice cracked over the com. "We're here! Standby to--what the?--" An explosion hit the helicopter on the side and it spun out of control. It landed onto some rough rocks. Thankfully, Tarr had made a barrier of seventh fonons around the other knights. They jumped out of the crashed chopper. "That wasn't an RPG.....they make a sound I'm all too familiar with..." Cinder explained. "I sense mana--" "Hey I think I sense it too!" Aden interrupted. Tarr knew the other's would have some qualities of an Angelus after getting Aionis in them. "Which way?" Tarr asked, retaining his anger. "North!" Aden answered, excited about his new powers. "Come on! Let's fly!" Aden said flying on ahead. "He's certainly the energy filled one of the group!" Cinder spoke cracking a grin and flying with him. "But he makes me feel like the old one..." Vike said flying along with them. Tarr followed behind them. The four of them entered an abandoned village. It seemed well untouched for a town in the middle of a hot zone like this. A man in a one piece white robe walked toward them. His red and blue hair wavered in the wind slightly. Tarr's eyes widened as he laid upon yet another one of his rivals. Elegant burgundy red Angelus wings flapped gently behind him. Airean's eyes stared deep into his cousin's. Tarr's hands now rested over his daggers. How had Airean followed him here? And if he came to tell him Reis was dead.... "Cousin. Come home." Airean said in a grim voice. "I think we'd both like you to die on home soil!!!!" A katar formed of mana appeared in Airean's hand as he charged forward. Tarr smirked. Finally a simple battle. . . . But Tarr sound found out this was the hardest of all his fights he had with his family. There was something different about Airean. Unlike the others . . . He did not hesitate. Did not talk to Tarr like the others did. Tarr quickly found out Airean was being fueled by rage and revenge for his sister, his older brother and his aunt. "Bastard! I should kill you for what you've done!!!" He yelled at Tarr as they locked blades. His other three companions were too fatigued to go on. Even with enhanced Angelus powers Airean was a tough cookie to all four of them. "YOU KILLED YOUR OWN MOTHER! SHE WAS CRYING! CRYING!!! CRYING BECAUSE HER OWN SON TURNED INTO A MONSTER CONSUMED BY DEPRESSION!!!" Airean contiuned to shout in Tarr's face. "THEN YOU KILLED ALICIA!!! SHE WAS A LIKE A SISTER TO YOU!!!! ALONG WITH CHEX! HE ALWAYS HELPED YOU MAKE YOUR MAPS MORE ACCURATE!!" He said stating Tarr's old hobby of making maps. "I don't care about Alicia! Her and Jade were MOCKING me with their love for each other! Knowing full well I lost Reis recently!" Tarr retaliated. "That's not gonna help!" Airean kicked his cousin away. The man jumped up and raised his katar back, preparing to plunge the blade into Terios' neck. "FLAME WHEEL!" Cinder shouted casting the arte and hitting Airean with the fire. His robes caught on fire and his guard was down. Aden threw a few puppets on him, constraining the man. Airean landed chest-first onto the sandy concrete and his face was looking rihgt at the ground. Vike lumbered forward his axe ready to behead him. Tarr stepped forward and motioned for Vike to back off. Tarr picked Airean up by the scuff of his neck. "Kill me. I have failed in avenging my family members." Terios' cousin said strongly. "But before you do just--" A blade through the stomach stopped him for a moment but continued. "--Just remember...Father the greatest and strongest Angelus alive...is the only one left." Airean gasped before Tarr tossed him to the side. His katar vanished in his hands. Vike huffed. "Let's rest and try to find a way to contact Grieffon troops." He said picking up an unconscious Aden. Tarr helped Cinder and they went to a pile of nearby rocks to hide and keep safe.... Later that night . . .(to be continued becuz I'm too tired to type anymore lol) |

(This is a continuation of the last post so please combine this one and the last together when reading.) ~Tarr~ Later that night . . . A small makeshift tent was placed in the clearing between the grouping of rocks. Vike and Aden were on nightwatch as Tarr and Cinder slept. Well at least Cinder was asleep. Tarr sat cross-legged on the highest rock in the area. He was now thinking. Thinking of the past once again. Airean had just been added to the list of relatives he has killed... But he was different. He had attacked Terios out of anger and rage. What for? That's right...To avenge his family. But . . . Airean never seemed like a vengeful and hateful type of person. Tarr had never seen him act in pure hatred toward anyone or anything. Terios found himself contemplating . . . Until he heard foot steps come toward him. The Raine man looked at the figure coming closer. Soon he made out Cinder's outline. Tarr sighed silently to himself as she came closer. "You okay?" She asked as she sat down next to him and hugged her legs close to her due to the cold desert temperature. "I'm fine." He replied in a emotionless voice. A few moments of silence passed between them. "Man that guy was tough today...and he had wings...just like us..." She said again. Except her voice gave way to . . . slight fright? Tarr couldn't tell. "We beat him. No need to look back." Tarr said again. "But . . . we could've died! I-I was scared..." Cinder said back as she looked down at the rocks below. Tarr blinked at the woman. She was scared, frightened, this was the first time he had ever seen her like this. Cinder was vulnerable . . . Tarr thought again. He smirked slyly. Yes, another perfect chance to distract him from the past. He scooted closer to her. "It's alright, Cinder." He said noting that he used her name. "Don't be frightened anymore..." Tarr put an arm around her shoulders. She hesitated noticing this was the first time Tarr had ever come into physical contact with her. Well, in a friendly way. Cinder looked over to him. "Want me to...calm you?" He asked. Cinder blinked at first . . . then it turned into a mischievious grin. "Ohhh . . . want to clam me that way huh? Well meet me at the tent, we have a few hours until Aden and Vike come back..." She got up and walked back to the tent. Terios . . . an all too familiar voice echoed in his head. Tarr's eyes widened as he scanned the immediate area. Nothing. He sighed and thought what he was about to do with Cinder . . . and what a great distraction she'll serve. Terios . . . Now Tarr knew who's voice it was. Reis. Terios . . . Don't you remember me? Your wife? I thought you still loved me . . . Tarr held his head. '...' For some reason who could not yell at Reis' voice. He was never angry at Reis . . . So he could never yell at her. Even after death I thought you would still have those feelings for me... Shut up. Tarr thought in a cold harsh voice. Reis' voice seemed to gasp slightly at his response. Teri . . . what has happened to you? She asked. You, that's what. You dispicable wench. You died and left me alone. Now stay in your little corner of hell and LEAVE ME ALONE!!!! He shouted as he ran to the tent . . . Looking back, Tarr had finally realized the horrible things he had done. This marked the beginning of his breakdowns . . . that would last for another 200 years.... |

~Around 200 years later......~ Tarr continued to work with the Grieffon Empire as a Checker knight. The other knights were able to live along with him because of their Aionis. He had cleared his thoughts of mourning....for the most part...and knew waht ahd to be done. A new rebellion had sprung up in recent years, more coordinated than any before. They had managed to steal one of the empire's spaceships. Prince Richard, Drusus' second oldest son gave chase. Upon his arrival he was given the gift of Angelus. No not through his father with the aionis but with his mother who was in fact an Angelus. Soon, Tarr and the other Checker Knights got involved. Richard soon found out that his father planned to reduce Carleon into nothing but exsphere and planned to stop him. One by one, the checker knights fell to Richard and the help of his friends. Now only Tarr remained. During this time he had encountered Shinta. Now the old Angelus awaited Richard to come after him. Tarr had placed himself inside the Venezia cathedral. Where he and Reis got married. He sat down in front of the altar, waiting... ~Shinta! Dethroned!~ ~Tarr~ The man activated his mana sight, seeing his uncle coming. Blazing blue angelus feathers fluttered down a clear indication of Shinta' arrival. Tarr glared at Shinta as his uncle grinned sarcastically in the irony of the chosen place of combat. "So, decided to come to the place where you most experienced happiness?" Shinta asked still grinning. "Yes, you disgrace." Tarr said standing up and unsheathing his longsword. Rather than his dual daggers. The church bell rang, it's ring echoing. A flock of pigeons flew away due to the rather unsettling noise. It was about to get even more unsettling. Tarr noted that a white dove was within the flock. He smirked at the thought of Lune watching this fight. Maybe she was actually cheering on her brother for the first time in Raine history. Tarr made seventh fonons coat his longsword making it completely white and crude looking. "Are you ready? The strongest and yet most loathesome of all angelus....." Tarr unseald his wings and spun toward Shinta, getting a few spinning slashes in. Now on his feet, he sliced wildly. "So, Shinta? Ready to see my mother?" He asked coldly as he was still on the offensive. Shinta used his katar to defend himself. Tarr recalled the memories of all those training exercises with Shinta behind that single katar . . . Most of them ended up with Terios on the ground, the business end of the weapon aimed at his neck. Shinta always got a good grin out of the look of fright on Terios' face when that happened. But Tarr would not do such childish things for the memories. He had a plan to do . . . "Yes, and while I'm here I think it's time for you to see Reis!!!" Shinta shouted in a cocky tone as he went to the offensive. The cocky tone reminded Tarr of his grandfather, Airez. His mother and uncle had said he was just like him. Just like him . . . "Come on! Show me if you've gotten stronger!!!!" Shinta said again now attacking more precisely. Tarr viciously growled at Shinta as the locked blades. "You can't beat me, you outdated piece of old meat!!!" He grabbed Shinta by the wrist and squeezed hard. Soon, Tarr heard a loud snap, thats when he kicked his uncle into the air. Tarr jumped up in the air with Shinta. "You should recall this move, Disgrace! Twelve tales of fire!!!" Twelve fireballs, all different colors surrounded Shinta. Tarr flew next to one and slammed the fireball into Shinta. He did this another eleven times, Shinta's clothes were covered in burn marks and blood. This was Lune's special arte that she had done . . . Then, Tarr raised his heel over Shinta's head and pounded it into his forehead. The 700 year old Angelus crashed into a bench. Tarr remembered, that bench is where his father and mother sat at his wedding . . . Shinta coughed up a little blood, but seemed only harmed a little. He grinned. "Outdated? Heh, look at you . . . you're over 500 years old . . . shouldn't you be dead too?" Shinta smiled softly. "Blizzard!! Come on, recall the memories we were all here, happy for you!!!! Shouldn't those memories ease that suffering!!!?" Shinta cried out as he casted the arte, freezing his nephew. He then kicked Tarr into some benches, where Shinta experienced joy for his sister's son. "M-memories . . .?" Tarr muttered as he recovered from the attack. He flashed his teeth at Shinta, almost like a snarl. Except much more frightening. He couldn't believe his uncle. No. Not uncle. He must be colder than that... "I wish memories never existed! If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't be longing for the older days!" Tarr made five dopplegangers and they all charged at once. Instantly, Shinta was getting cut from every possible direction. "FEEL THE PAIN OF 235 YEARS OF JOY, TURNED INTO PURE RAAAAGE!!!!" Tarr shouted at Shinta. He stabbed him in the upper chest, then he quickly got out one of his daggers and stabbed the angelus in the shoulder. As the wounds opened, Tarr sent out seventh fonons into Shinta's blood. With this, Shinta would silently die within a few mere minutes. "AHHHH!!!!!" Shinta cried out, staggering backwards. He still grinned. "Come on . . . see? I wanted to die. I was hoping to take you with me . . . oh well. I may as well say this and weaken you a little." Shinta forced his body to charge forward, unsealing his third seal. "CELESTIAL RAY!" He performed, not wanting to destroy the chapel. He focused the light on Tarr, creating a small explosion. He heaved coughing up blood. "Look kid, I think I rather go easy on you. I actually want you to see your great-granddaugther that you never knew existed. Her face, her structure . . . reminds me of someone very close to you." Shinta grinned wider knowing it would get to him. He clenched his chest, where Shinta hit him with Celestial ray. Silently, he healed himself. His eyes widened at his words. "Great...granddaughter?" Tarr's eyes seemed to get a little green tint to them. His eyes were no longer lifeless. Tarr glared at Shinta with his newfound eyes. "You're not taking me down with you . . . Shinta!" He said, actually using his name. "I must tell the outsider something before I die." His white dove wings appeared. "Lets try this! PHANTASM!!!" With his dopplegangers, Tarr attacked Shinta. All of his clones went through Shinta, causing extreme pain. "AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" Shinta fell forward, retaining his smile. "Have to smile for sis when I die . . . and Sarah too . . ." Shinta charged again only slashing with his katar. He spoke as he fought. "So from the looks of your eyes, you can't wait huh? Well she'll show up with Richy. I'm surprised you haven't seen her yet. She also has your streaks you know as well as little Reis' . . ." He hoped to bring more of a sparkle to Tarr's eyes as he punched the man's face. 'She has me and Reis' streaks? Heh, thats one good looking girl then!' Tarr's body shuddered at this thought as he stumbled backwards. It had been a long time since he thought happily. On his silk black hair, blue streaks began to appear. And his eyes were almost to full sparkle. Almost . . . Raising both his sword and his dagger, he blocked yet another katar slash. Quickly, quietly, a dopple ganger appeared to their sides. the dopple pulled out a grappling hook and aimed it at Shinta. As Shinta raised for another slash, the hook latched onto his forearm. Two other clones appeared and fired their claws at Shinta's other limbs. Then Tarr himself fired his own at Shinta's left leg. The clones that had him by the arms flew up. Tarr and the other clone stayed on the ground. Now Shinta was chained up in midair. The chains connecting the claw and the gun, constricted pulling Shinta by the limbs. "Lets see how you look without you're arms and legs!!!" The Tarr's readied themselves. "Checker knight arte! Limb Separa-" He stopped himself. Tarr hung his head, not willing to kill Shinta. Terios just couldn't bring himself to. "Thank Yulia you're not that cruel . . . Terios . . . my little nephew . . . When you see Siri . . . tell her . . . how much she looks like your wife . . . You'll see her very soon, Terios . . . promise ya, kid." Shinta smiled as he fell foward. Terios released the chains. "Hey . . . I'll get to see Lune again . . . and my family . . . that would be great. Oh yeah, one more thing . . . Siri specializes in the seventh fonon in every aspect . . . Bye, Terios. I'll see you soon, alright? Then you can see everyone . . . Reis . . ." Shinta fell forward, his body ceasing to move. A tear silently crawled down his cheek. His clones vanished as he walked next to Shinta's dead body. "Uncle . . . Shinta." Tarr silently closed his eyes. He looked out the cathedral window, seeing it's the time of dusk. Night would come soon. Tarr picked up Shinta's body and placed it in a private room. He didn't want to fight Richy and the others when Shinta's corpse was in their presence. Wiping away his tear, he sat back down in front of the altar. His eyes and hair going back to their deathly black color . . . 'Bout time the damned old man died.' Tarr thought. |

~The Light Begins to shine~ ~Tarr/Terios~ This time Tarr didn't have to use his mana sight to feel the presence of his soon to be combatants. One, two, three . . . A total of five were coming. One--his supposed great granddaughter--Made up most of the strength within the group. He calculated and compared his strength to the group's. They were perfectly equal all together. But each was weaker than him but if they were coordinated he would have trouble. And trouble was what he wanted at this point. Five pair of feet echoed in the cathedral as the church bell rang once more. Terios counted . . . One, two, three rings . . . It was eleven at night. Midnight was close. He used his seventh fonons to increase his hearing sensitivity. One of the group members weighed considerably less than the others. Tarr guessed it was the weight of a...little girl? He sighed. A little girl was the last thing he wanted to fight. But if she attacked first, he'd defend himself. "It's about time." Terios said as he opened his eyes and stood up. "Tarr--" Richard began but stopped. Tarr's eyes widened at Siri. She looked exactly like Reis. Just like Shinta said. "Reis . . ." Terios felt like he was in her presence again. "Y-yes, Terios? It's been so long hasn't it?" Siri said smiling softly and closing here eyes as soon as she aligned her gaze with his. Even her voice was like hers! "So Tarr, your the last one......You are going down..." The woman known as Luna took out her spear and pointed it at Tarr. Richard put his hand out in front of Luna and stepped back with her. Tarr heard him whisper something to her but ignored it. It hurt his cheeks, but Terios managed to smile at Siri. He was shaking, crying silent tears of joy. "It's been too long!!" He walked forward and hugged her still thinking it was Reis. This would be the part where the man named Trey got pissed. "Reis . . . You don't know how much I've missed you. Y-you couldn't believe how sad I was when you died." He whispered in her ear. Terios glanced down to see the old emerald flute. He grinned, causing his cheek muscles to flex in pain. But he did not want to show pain in front of Reis. Letting go and stepping back he grabbed her by the hands. "Reis . . . play the song again. Here," Terios got out his harp. "We'll play it together like we used to!" He was happy when "Reis" seemed overjoyed and smiling. Siri hugged back tightly and stepped back to play her flute. "I'm here now, Terios. Don't worry, you don't have to suffer anymore." She whispered back softly. The tunes of the harp and flute matched perfectly. Trey hushed Alex, the little girl, from asking what Siri was doing with Tarr. Terios continued to play his harp with Siri. It was a beautiful tune to hear inside the cathedral. He felt in such high spirits, his seventh fonons began to cloak him. A white aura surrounded his body. Soon, another flute joined in. Then a trumpet and what sounded like bells. Behind Terios' head was floating instruments. He opened his eyes and smiled. "I saved them....our children's instruments." The six string of bells, the other flute and the trumpet were floating beside them, playing. "I'm so glad you did! It's saddening though how they were never passed down to our future grandchildren . . ." The woman then opened her eyes to see the instruments. Tarr blinked to see Siri's blue eyes? But Reis had brown eyes . . . He didn't know lying adn trickery like THIS ran in his blood. "Reis . . .? No, Siri!" He said now realizing he had been a fool. This entire time, it was Siri! She looked so much like Reis he couldn't help himself. Terios sighed, lowering his harp and making the other instruments float back to the ground. "So you tricked me? Why must the young ones these days be so cruel to the old?" Sighing again, he turned away. "I know....you did not want to fight your great grandfather, Siri. I'm sorry I acted the way I did." He turned back to face her, grinning. "So, how've you been kid?" A dark evil light shone down on him. With horrified eyes, Terios looked up to see a sable moon shining down on him. 'Oh no.....' Suddenly, Terios was on all fours clutching his temples. "Damn....you!!! Lune Noir!!! " His snow white wings turned into a deadly black, along with his hair and eyes. "What the hell is happening?" Soon Richard was answered. In a heartbeat, Terios was upon him. "AHHH!!!" Richy was kicked back into a pillar. When the prince stood back up, he saw the dull, expressionless face on Terios. He was attacking Trey now. "Guys! Tarr's out of control!" Richy fired an arrow. "Take him down, TAKE HIM DOWN!!!!!" And so the fight for Earth and the battle to redeem one's self began . . . |
