~Life on a Cloud~ ~Terios~ "Ah, come on Teri!" The ravishing young woman shouted, running through the plains. She continued to laugh and run across the scape of green lands. Reis knew Terios would catch up to her. Even though she was 251 she still had the body of a twenty year old. Her long black hair was easy to see in this green environment. In a flash, Terios tackled her to the ground. "Oof! Haha!" They both hit the ground, next to each other. "Teri, STOP!!" Reis giggled at him tickling her. She began to fight back, tickling him now. After a few minutes they both sighed and turned on their backs, looking up at the clouds. The couple stared up at the sky, in complete peace. Reis turned her body so she was facing Terios. "Alright . . . What should my reward be for getting the statue...?" She plafully tossed it up and down in her hand, taunting her husband. Terios frowned and unsealed his wings, making them appear under her. With a grin, he started to toss her between his wings. He gasped seeing Reis' face turn green, ready to throw up. Terios stopped, making her land on his stomach quite hard. Reis smiled. "Like that? I can make sound particles any color I want!" "Oh you're smart, of course this isn't a . . . surprise." Terios wrapped his hands around her waist. "Nuh uh uh! Control yourself, Terios. Do you want me to put you asleep and leave you out here?" Terios shook his head. Reis unsealed her emerald wings and flew up, hovering right above him. Her wings were slightly more muscular than your average angelus wings. Terios blinked still lying down on the ground. "How did your wings get so buff lookin' . . .?" Reis smiled. "Well when you have all three of your children and your husband is "busy" these wings are very good for holding babies." Terios made a sound of agreement. "So you held the twins on each of your wings? Hm, quite clever..." Reis sighed. "Keep complimenting. Your not having any fun with me tonight because of my bet!" "And your bet is what?" Terios cocked an eyebrow, intrigued. "Lets have a romantic night that WON'T end with sex." His mouth dropped. "But-" Terios began to protest. "No! This is my reward, so you have to do it." Reis landed on the grass beside him. Sighing, he agreed and stood up. Holding each other's hand they made it to the church of martel. Reis cheerfully handed the priest the Spiritua statue. Joyous, he went back into the church to pay them their reward. Terios sighed and put his fist to his cheek. And his elbow on Reis' shoulder. "Man, your a nice leaning post, shortie." He taunted. Reis glared at him and gave him a mouthful of green angel feathers. The priest returned the money, confused. When the pair came in they were happy as ever. Now Reis was glaring at him and Terios seemed to be choking on something. When night fell, the couple returned to their home in Venezia. Terios lit candles on their dining table and put a vial filled with roses in it on the table. He heard Reis come down the stairs and he qucikly went to the kitchen. He looked in a mirror to check to see if he had everything on she would like. A none torn shirt, check. Tie, check. 'Alright lets do this!' Terios walked in the room. Reis was wearing a long red dress and a pair of earrings he gave her long ago. He walked as straight up as he could to the seat across from her. Terios sat up properly at the table, staring at Reis. "You look great just like always." He said. "Now come on, we BOTH know you think I look better without anything on." Reis would've responded. Then Terios would've shrugged admitting it. But . . . That did not happen. Terios walked in the room. Reis was wearing a long red dress and a pair of earrings he gave her long ago. He gasped, seeing Reis' face on the table top. Terios ran over to her side putting a hand on her shoulder. He shook her slightly. "I'm sorry, I guess I made you kind of tired. Me chasing you after all." Terios placed his other hand on top of her's. His eyes widened. Her hand was stone cold. "R-Reis!?" Terios lifted her head up, a calm smile on her face. His body began to shake. "Reis!? Wake up! The joke's over!" Terios blinked looking into her closed eyes. "Reis....please.....SPEAK TO ME!!!!!!!!!" Clutched in her hand was a picture of her, Terios, Valor and all three of her children . . . ~Finish the Promise~ ~Terios~ It was midnight. The moon was out, it shone so brightly it made everything radiate with a slight white light. A small breeze could be felt, making the Senelia flowers wave in the calm wind. The waterfalls flowing added to the peaceful scene. Terios sat crossed legged on top of a rock. His eyes were closed in his lap sat Reis’ emerald flute clutched in his hand. A figure walked toward him in a white with black trimmed cloak. His spiky purple hair swayed in the wind. Terios opened his eyes startled to see the man. “Terios . . .” Valor began. “What do you want, Valor?” He asked calmly. “I’m waiting for Reis. I know she’ll come and play for me here. This place . . . harbors many great memories.” Valor took a big sighed. “Terios . . . Reis is dead. You and I both know what she wanted to do with that flute. She wished for it to be passed down to her grandchildren.” Terios grunted. “Stop lying to me, Valor! I know she’s alive! Oh I get it now,” The man glared at his old friend. “You just want to give it to her. She’ll be so over joyous YOU found it. You just want to get on her good side.” Terios rose from his crossed legged position. “Tch you still like her! You always were my competition! Along with that other whelp, Imal!” Now he bore his teeth at Valor. Valor clenched his fists. “There is no more ‘competition’ for her, Terios. You won her. Now hand over that flute.” Valor opened his hands to Terios. Instead, he put the flute in his pocket. “You’ll have to take it from me!” Valor’s spectral images of Vorpal and Flamberge were out before Terios even did his move. The Flamberge had blocked a white blade made of seventh fonons that formed in front of him. Valor stared at Terios with a glare as he blocked the attack. He sighed as Terios charged at him. Terios drew out his dagger to stab him in the face, but Valor had already punched him in the face. The angelus staggered back at the punch. With rage filled eyes, he summoned his dove white wings. “She’s dead, Terios! There is nothing you can do!” The man growled at the comment. “STOP LYING TO ME!!!!” Terios charged again. Valor easily blocked his attacks with his hands. Valor wondered if he even needed his spectral blades for this fight. A white glow surrounded Terios’ daggers as they grew. Now the two swords that made up the Eternal Sword came to Valor’s hands. A screech of seventh fonons on physical mana ringed throughout the Tataroo Valley. “She’s not dead you idiot! Just stop lying!” “Terios, accept it! There’s nothing more you can do that that!” “I CAN ALWAYS KILL YOU!!!” Terios kicked Valor in the stomach. Terios flew up, flapping his wings with pure hatred fueling them. “Metal feathers! Ice needle!!!” He cried the attacks hitting Valor on the ground. The white Senelia flowers were now painted with a crimson red. The man got up, ripping out the crude metal feathers as he did. ‘Looks like I can’t convince him….’ “Tempest….” Valor threw his blades at Terios, the blades spinning and cutting at his swords. He knocked them down. Valor suddenly appeared, doing an upper cut to Terios. Valor flapped his ominous purple wings as Terios flew down at him from above. They floated there, swinging their sword edges at each other wildly. They were complete equals, every time one of them swung the other rose his blade to block the swing. Transforming his blades into the Eternal sword, Valor hit Terios in the head with the flat side of the sword. “SEVENTH THRUST!!!” Valor was hit by the attack he flew back, into the waterfall. The cascading water submerged him. A few moments later, he was washed ashore. He looked to see the entrance to the Tataroo Valley Sephiroth. Suddenly, Terios ran up from behind him. Valor put his arms over his head to catch Terios’ sword. He flung it over his head, making Terios crash into the entrance to the Sephiroth. When the dust settled, Valor rushed in. Only to be greeted by a few dopplegangers. Valor split his eternal sword back into the two halves and defended himself. The clones attacked from every directions and with every arte Terios has ever learned. Even with their combined strength, he managed to kill them all. Valor gasped, sensing Terios’ mana signature behind him, outside. “I hope you took a look at the moon!” Valor raised his head to the comment. ‘What? The moon . . . it’s black.’ Terios’ green eyes turned into a demonic black. His snow white wings became darker than night. The blue streaks on his hair disappeared under the blackness. ‘What is this sudden power I feel in him?’ Valor was interrupted by more clones appearing. “LuneNoir . . . FRENZY!!!!!!” ‘WHAT?!’ The clones charged him. “CELESTIAL RAY!!!” “JUDGEMENT!!” “EVERLASTING TEMPEST!!!” CHAOTIC EQUILIMBRIUM!!!” “BISON’S DEATH CHARGE!” “TWELVE TALES OF FIRE!!!” “RAZING HAWK!!!” “CELESTIAL STORM!!!!!!” “HELL PYRE BIND!!!” “EVENING STAR!!!” “GLACIAL RAY!!!” The massive artes struck, one after another. Each time a clone did his arte he vanished. Valor breathed heavily still standing after all those attacks. He flew up and locked blades with Terios. “Enough playing around!” “Yeah you said it!!” Terios responded. They jumped back in the air charging their attacks. The two flew at each other at incredible speeds. “NOW YOU DIE!!!” “Hand over the flute!” “FALCON’S CREST!” Both shouted. A purple and white light exploded from them. It looked like a star decided to shine on the earth’s surface from afar. Valor stood over his friend, his spectral swords gone. He looked down as his hair and wings resumed their normal color. He picked up the other angelus by the collar of his shirt. Terios was knocked out. Valor reached into his pocket and got the emerald flute. He laid Terios back on the rock he was sitting before Valor came. The Eternal swordsman sighed. “I made a promise.” Valor turned and started to walk away slowly. ‘Tch, see who needs a reality check now?’ |

~Legend Seeker~ ~Terios~ Terios awoke to find himself crying his eyes out. The fight . . . the death. It finally became clear that Reis was dead. Or rather Terios finally accepted it. When he finally did stop he wandered the countryside with no real destination. Soon he found himself in a bar. He wondered how he even got there everything was reduced to a blur. Soon enough a pint of beer was in front of him. Thats when things became worse. Terios soon became an alcoholic. Drinking constantly. For two years he has done this. Doing god only knows what with himself. Now he found a fist fly across his face and seeing mud obscure his vision. Terios tried to lift himself up but did not have the strength. "T-Terios!?" A young woman screamed running over to him. She had elbow length red hair and blue eyes. A blue shirt was on her body as well as a black skirt. She also fashioned a small choker on her neck. It was Alicia Ceres Raine, his cousin. "My Yulia! What happened to you cous!?" No response but a blank stare. Tears started to fall from her eyes. "Terios!!" He blacked out. ~A few months later~ Terios sighed as he sat in Alicia's home. He gazed at the floor blankly. Terios was now fully recovered by his alcohol addiction thanks to his cousin. The angelus was very thankful to Alicia. She now walked into the room, a grin plastered on her cute face. "Thank you, Alicia. Is there anything I can do to re-" Alicia cut him off. "Nope, I should be thanking YOU! Jade was off doing stuff for the Elder so you pretty much entertained me while he was gone." Terios sweatdropped. 'Entertained . . .?' He shook his head. "Well while you were gone I got this letter..." Terios passed the parchment to the woman. She blinked and took it, wondering what it could be. Alicia grinned and jumped around. "What is it?" Terios asked calmly. "It's a letter from Airean! He needs our help for something! Come on!" Alicia flew out of the house, her baby blue wings flapping in the wind. Terios huffed and followed. Soon the two relatives were at the Dyecroft in the throne room. "Airean!" The woman hugged her older brother. He returned the hug. "Terios! It's good to see ya, cous!" Airean said grinning. Terios wondered if this guy really was the leader of the Angelus. "If you're wondering where Chex is he's in the backroom take a guess at what he's doing." Alicia and Terios sighed. "Playing checkers?" They both said. Airean nodded and said: "What else?" Soon enough Chex, the eldest of the triplets walked out. A checker board tucked under his armpit. "Well this is quite the reunion." Chex commented, Airean nodded. "Now I've called you all here for a purpose. Ya see . . . My subjects are . . .um-" Terios interrupted. "Get on with it!" The brothers were caught off guard by Terios' comment. Alicia only sighed. "Well my subjects are complaining about the uh, air conditioning. It's broken so they can't cool off..." They all sweat dropped. "What the hell, Airean!? You called us all the way over here to fix some air conditioning unit?!" Alicia said, her anger bursting out. "Well....To make it more fun I wanted to get us together and form a pact with Celsius. Ya know, we get to see each other again and we fight a good battle!" Chex shook his head. "Well you should't have dragged Terios and Alicia into this. I'm the only summoner, I'm the only one you really need..." "Oh nonsense brother! Tch sometimes I think I'm smarter than you!" Airean said grinning. Alicia giggled and grinned. Terios kept his tactiturn face, but he was amused by this. Soon the four Raine members were inside the Temple of Ice near Flanoir. They walked in front of the seal of ice. "Well who are you kiddies?" An ominous female voice asked. "First off we aren't kiddies. Secondly we want to form a pact with ya! So hand yourself over!" Alicia said. Chex sighed saying: "Alicia its not that easy. We have to fight her first then we have to state your pact. At least I didn't spend all this time in bed with lil' Jadey poo." All the boys smiled. Alicia's eyebrows twitched. "Just make yer freakin pack." This made the others smile even wider. "I guess you lose some brain cells when you get turned on every night." Terios said a calm smile on his face. Alicia ran over and started to smack him with her whip. "COME HERE COUS! DID I MENTION YER MY FAVE COUS!?" "I'm your only cousin! Ahh!" Celsius then appeared. She looked upon the two fighting then the two older brothers. "State your pact. It's bad enough already to deal with those two." Chex nodded, bringing out his checker board-slash-summoner-book. "My name is Chex Damian Raine. I wish to....Bring your cooling air to the Dyecroft." Celsius blinked. "O....kay then. Pact accepted." A sapphire ring now formed on Chex's finger. His ruby one began to shine. Now both Efreet and Celsius were in the group's presence. "What is it Efreet?" "It seems this is the first time two opposite summon spirits have been summoned since the revival of Solstice." Efreet said with his booming voice. "What does that mean?" Airean asked. "Cause you'd be great for a heater!" Silence insued at the comment. Now Terios and Alicia had stopped their quarrel to see the spirits. "When Solstice was revived his bind on our powers had resumed its constriction. We have been only a fraction of what we truly are since that day. But now a mana chain has been broken." They all wondered at the comment. "Uh...Could ya explain there Mr. Inferno?" Airean asked. "You see when Solstice was alive he limited our abilities. He took most of our mana away to make a barrier around Carleon so no one would venture outside the world's atmosphere. But now my opposite and I are summoned at the same time. Thus destroying a chain around the world." "So . . . When we make a pact with all the other spirits, their chain will be broken?" Terios asked. The spirits nodded. "Looks like this became another job for the Legend Seeker!" Alicia said in triumph, one hand on her hips. ~???~ "The mana level . . ." An Elf said. His companion nodded. "Someone has made a pact. That much mana around the world would be most useful..." The companion unsheathed his large broadsword. "Looks like we just got the luck of the draw . . ." "Indeed." The elf took out his staff. ~Electrical Sensation~ "One three. One....two...THREE!!!" "SNAKE'S HEAD!" The tip of Alicia's whip turned into an upper jaw of a snake. It's fangs dripping with poison as it stabbed into Volt, the summon spirit. "HURRICANE THRUST!!" Airean yelled, stabbing his katar into the entity. Airean's red wings were flapping as he jumped back from a lightning strike. "Space Distortion!" Chex casted his arte on it, his unusually navy black wings blazing on the battleground. "Apocalyptic sword rain!" Terios attacked it with a massive sword rain move. Volt drooped to the floor, defeated. It spoke in its signature brinary. "Alright our pact..." Chex along with everyone else sealed their wings and thought for a moment. "Okay-" A small drop of water hitting his nose cut him off. Then a few more sprinkles. An elf appeared in front of him in an old black cloak. His ears were taller and more sharp then your normal elf's. "Look. You're all wet." He said with an ever calm voice. "Now what could I do to hurt you...?" The man backflipped, kicking Chex into the air. "Indignation!" Everything shined an intense white as the arte hit the eldest triplet. "CHEX!!!!" Alicia cried flying up and catching her brother. "YOU!!!" Airean flew up and attacked the elf. The attacker swiftly dodged the slashes. "Impudent...Storm!" A strong gust hit Airean throwing him to the ground. The elf turned to Volt. "I wish to break the mana chain holding Carleon." The elf forced the spirit to agree to the pact. "Now....thats just playing dirty...." A white aura surrounded Terios. "Sound needle!" Shimmers shot and hit the elf. The elf fell the the ground clutching his bleeding arm. "Well at least one of you is worth my time..." "WHAT WAS THAT POINTY EARS!?" Alicia shouted. A few muscular robots dropped down and formed a defensive postion around their master. The bots had red glowing eyes. "Fear the coming of True-Elves. The true rulers of mana and with that the universes of it. Hm? I smell Raine blood in all of you..." He faintly smiled in amusement. "Well this is quite disappointing. The Raines are still weak but....You," He pointed to Terios. "You have the signature of Master Akature. A descendant of Jack Castagnier-" "How do you know one of my great grand fathers?" "I served under him. Along with Cain. When Cain was revived he also revived me and my partner. Only one of you deserve to know my name....I am called Kinan. If you don't stop making pacts with the spirits I will be forced to kill you." In a puff of smoke, Kinan and his Relic bots vanished. Alicia hefted Chex over her shoulder. "C'mon! Lets get back to the Dyecroft and rest up!" She said flying off. The other two relatives flew off as well. Terios had never heard of Kinan or Akature. But he did know of Cain an elf whom his mother, father and uncle fought before he was born . . . Edited by Shadow Scorn, Aug 21 2008, 05:46 PM.

~Terios~ The four Raines sat in a circle. Except for Airean who was lying down on his bed. They were silent thinking of what just happened. Finally, Chex sighed and stood from his chair. "Alicia, Teros you must come with me to the make pacts with the other spirits." Alicia stood up. "Yeah! We can't have those guys steal all that mana! C'mon cous, Airean'll be fine here!" Terios sighed and stood up too. The three walked out. Before he went through the door, Chex glanced at his younger brother then went outside. They flew towards Sylvarant, to the Mausoleum where Sylph lie waiting. "*Sigh* Alicia its not that hard to get passed the traps." Terios said slihgtly annoyed at how long his cousin was taking. Two giant blades sprung out of the walls causing Alicia to jump back. "Shut it cous!" She ran forward only for the blades to come out again. Luckily she jumped back in time to avoid becoming sushi. But....the front of her shirt was now in shreds. She panicked covering up her chest. Terios turned away as Chex ran a hand down his face in embarrassment. FINALLY, the angelus woman got across the trap. "Wow...Even i have to say you took your sweet time." A voice that came from nowhere said. The three looked around only to see darkness. A very tall elf with long light purple hair walked from behind them. "Earth crack!" The ground began to rumble beneath the group's feet as rocks flew up and hit them. Chex, Terios and Alicia were now on the ground. "Gee I was hoping for some fun. But instead you three are nothing more than a bunch of rats!" Zaren laughed loudly pointing his sword at them. Alicia got up and fixed her hair. "Don't worry fellas I know how to deal with this type of guy." That only makes me worry more... Both of the boys thought. She removed her hands from her chest and started to walk to him. "How you doin?" She said in a seductive voice. Terios and Chex sighed. "Come buddy do we have to fight? I could be your VERY special friend...." Alicia now winked at Zaren. He only huffed. "Resorting to something low as that only shows how desperate you are to win." Now she wrapped her body around one of his arms. "C'mon! We could have some fun if you don't kill me!" She now unleashed the dreaded puppy dog eyes. "ALICIA! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" A young looking man said walking to the scene. Alicia gasped and instantly let go. "J-Jadey! H-hey! Whats up my sexy husband that I will always love forever?" Everyone sweat dropped at this. "Alicia......" Jade stared at her angerly. She began to panic. "I'm sorry! I was just trying to avoid a fight with this elf guy!!" Jade crossed his arms. "As punishment....No sex.....for an entire month." Alicia's eye began to twitch. Then a waterfall of tears came from her eyes. "From now on...Let's just say Alicia was adopted." Terios whispered into Chex's ear as he nodded in agreement. "Bah! I've no time for you kids! GRAVE!" Jade quickly picked up Alicia and flew up to a higher level. He was now in Dragoon form. "Sorry buddy but this fight is pretty pointless." Jade raised his hand to show Slyph's opal ring on his hand. Zaren spat at the ground. "So it seems....Well at least I stalled you all. Zaren the demonic elf is my name." A green orb surrounded him and he teleported away. Jade and Alicia landed next to Terios and Chex. "This would be more useful if you had Sylph on you're side." Jade handed Chex the opal ring. "Thanks Jade. Now all we have to do is form a pact with Gnome...." The angelus woman then interrupted. "You can't be serious Jade! C'mon!" She begged her husband. "Jade....did you turn her into a sex fiend?" Chex smiled, obviously amused. 'Well . . . I could live without seeing him...' Terios thought as they walked out of the temple. |

~Talk about a Player Hater~ ~Terios~ "My name is Chex Damian Raine...." Chex said in front of Luna's seal. Now a moonstone was added to his finger. All of the fingers had at least one pact ring on it. Now the only spirts that were left were Origin and Lorelei. The two most powerful spirits. Atop the Tower of Mana two shadows blocked their way. It was Zaren and Kinan. Terios, Alicia, Jade and Chex readied their weapons. "Oh please. Hand over the pact rings and we'll spare you." Kinan offered. Jade shook his head. "Sorry pointy ears we're not doing that!" "Maxwell....." Kinan muttered and shower of meteors falling on the group. "WHOA!" But something stopped them from falling. Under each of them a person held it up, floating in the air. They were humans so how...? Now wires were seeable in the sunlight. "What the...?" A barrier now surrounded them and threw them back down at Kinan and Zaren. They hit home, they fell off the tower. "Get out of here." A man said with a raspy voice, clearly in need of some water. "Why should we!? And who are you?" Terios asked. "A friend...a comrade." He responded. A double edged spear shot out of a metal cylinder he had in his hand. "Answer me, freak." Terios said in a cold voice. Aden grinned to him. "Nah, I mean how cool is it helping out you guys...The Checker Knights?" He said to them. "Checker Knights?" Jade asked. "Well yeah! I mean thats what the people call you-" "GROUND DASHER!!!" Zaren yelled, rocks flying up and hitting them all. Terios growled loudly. "JUST DIEEEE!!!!!" He said extending his daggers with his seventh fonons. Terios slashed at Zaren but his giant broadsword blocked them all. The giant elf lowered his sword so he could hit Terios in the chin with the hilt of his sword. "All of you get out of here!" Aden shouted, summoning more puppets. He grinned. "I'll take care of them." "Lets hope ya do!" Alicia said dragging Jade wiht her to the exit. "We leave it in your hands." Chex said quietly and left. "Tch!" Terios ran after him. "It seems like I'm well loved." Aden said sarcastically. He prepared to fight one of the toughest battles in his life. ~A day later~ "Finally!" Jade exclaimed, seeing Lorelei's power become one with Chex. Origin's power also flashed already inside the Angelus. Alicia and Jade held each other's hands and danced around happily. "Alright nwo we can finally spread the Legend Seekers name to the entire universe!" Alicia grinned happily at her words. Terios showed clear annoyance at the couple. "What's wrong cousin?" Chex asked. "Just...." He walked over to them. "They're torturing me..." A white blade went through Alicia's stomach. She gasped at the sudden pain, looking down at herself. "T-Terios-" Another blade silenced her. For good. Terios flicked his cousin's body, who he loved and hung out with his entire life, to the ground. Jade stood with an expression of pure shock. "Doesn't that feel worse than death?" Terios asked now coming within arm's distance of him. "Feel my pain." He drove a dagger through his heart. "As you die." Terios hit him with a back hand fist. "In eternal torture!" Terios kicked Jade down the hill, the opposite side where Alicia was. So they couldn't see each other in their last moments of life. "Terios!-" He silenced Chex as well. Quickly since he did nothing to annoy him. Terios walked away in silence. 'They shouldn't have mocked me...' |

~A few days later...~ Terios sighed, holding his freshly brewed tea in his right hand. By now he dyed his blue streaks black, making his whole hair jet black. Other than that nothing changed about him much. The Angelus took a sip of the tea. "Hey! Buddy whats up?" Aden said coming into the roadside bar. The man grinned at Terios, which made him annoyed. "Hey you don't look so good. Whats up?" The puppeteer asked. Terios sighed. He told the man his story about what happened wiht his relatives... "My god!" Aden said jumping out of his seat. "I-I can't believe it! I can't believe they wanted to betray and kill you! Just for loving that Reis chick!" He said slapping the side of his head. "I mean whats up wiht people these days?! Who cares if she was born a weapon she has a right to choose and yet your own FAMILY tried to kill you for marrying her! It's just so inhuman..." Terios nodded silently telling him his lie. "Well Buddy I'll be here to help you! So what's your name? I'm Aden." He said sticking his hand out for him to shake. Terios dully looked at it. "Alright, alright I get it. You tell me when you're ready. Come on lets head on-WHOA!" Aden grabbed and pulled Terios by the arm before a giant broadsword slammed into his seat. The man behind the counter chuckled. "Aww come on. It would've been so humiliating for the last remaing Checker Knight to be cut down in a bar!" Zaren said smirking. "I don't know how I missed your ugly hide..." Terios said getting out of Aden's grasp. "But you're not getting away this time." The true elf laughed. "Oh am I? Here, I'll introduce you to my newest friend." A thunderous stomp was heard outside the bar. The two walked out to see a giant man with robotic armor on. He held a giant axe, easily the size of a person. "Meet Kite bot 980. I hope he proves to be fun!" Zaren said running off. "Dammit! Out of the way metal bag!" Terios yelled unsheathing his daggers. 980 began to charge at the Angelus. "My god, buddy! Get out of the way! QUICK, HE'S PLOW YOU DOWN!!!!" Aden yelled taking cover behind a nearby tree. The shadow of the bot's axe blocked out the sun. The puppet master turned his head away so he wouldn't have to see the ugly scene. Two white blades were crossed in an X, blocking the giant axehead. Aden saw Terios holding against the giant and gaped. "It's like something made him stick to the ground! Like....like......Tar. That's it! Tarr, that has to be his name!" Tarr pulled one of the swords back and stabbed the bot right in the stomach. A groan came from the bot. "What the...? That sounded...human." Tarr mumbled to himself pulling the sword out of the things gut. The bot fell to one knee, starting to breath like a human. "Th-thank you, sir." It said. "Whoa! That thing talks?!" Aden said running over. The bot nodded. "Yes but...I am no robot. Those elves tricked me into that suit and used me. Please get this off of me before it drains all of my mana...." The two men did so and were done in a few minutes. Now they could see much of the muscle on the bot was actually this fellow's own. "Thank you, sirs. My name is Vike. I was once a bandit leader around the woodland areas here. But I finally got out of that horrible business." Vike said. "Well its nice to meetcha, Vike!" Aden said shaking his hand. "This is my good friend, Tarr!" 'Tarr . . . ?' "I'm sure you two are rarin' to meet all my puppets properly!" He said summong Tokunaga. "Let's hope that's the only one...." Tarr muttered. Aden shook his head side to side playfully. "Not by a long shot!" A giant mass of puppets appeared. All of them were past heroes! "This is bookworm, Philia and oh this is my group of Swordian puppets-oh! Here's my-" Tarr sighed as Vike grinned hefting his axe over his shoulder. "Well this one seems to have quite the energy! Ha ha." "A little too much for my liking..." The checker knight muttered, continuing to hear the never ending list of names from Aden. |

~Meetings~ ~Airez~ Airez sighed as he won. "Sorry Dist . . . you're not that good at blackjack." He said gathering the pile of gald. Dist pouted in his floating chair. "Ohh come on! The one time I get attention in something is when I LOSE!" The replica sat up from his chair, annoyed by the God-General. Static was heard in the speakers as they turned on. "Airez, Dist, come up to main entrance we have visitors. Two to be precise." Airez and Dist looked at each other and nodded. They either ran up the stairs or floated up. Airez shaded his eyes from the bright summer sun. As he lowered his hand all of the six God-Generals and Solstice stood in front of him, their backs to him. He walked forward and saw a woman. Not just a woman but a woman with blue hair. Just like him! Airez blinked at her shocked to see someone with blue hair other than himself. He walked toward her. "Airez this is one of my colleagues, Maria." Solstice spoke but the replica was speechless. He had never seen such a beautiful woman before. A hand covered in dark fonons grabbed Airez by the neck and rose him to the air. Airez struggled to get free from the surprise attack. "Xin, stand down." Solstice ordered and the man grunted and dropped Airez to the ground. Xin started to walk past Airez but put a hand on his shoulder. "Stay away from my mother, you replica trash." He whispered, continuing to walk. "I'm sorry. Please forgive Xin." Maria said walking up to Airez. "Here let me heal you...." She placed a hand to Airez's neck. He didn't know what to think as he stared at her... Meanwhile a man with a long black mustache in a lab coat grinned at the encounter. "So this is Airez A.K.A. 'Blue Wind'...." The genius scientest Dhaku smirked. ~An unknown amount of time has passed~ Xin along with countless other Raine of Fire project guinea pigs failed. Solstice had been using Maria to produce every single one of the subjects. Each time they either died or failed. Xin was a failure. He was one with the mana in Carleon thus a very poweful mage. But he looked so old because Solstice had injected a rapid growing injection into him. Virtually he was only about 5 but had a body of 20 year old. He has been angered that his childhood was taken from him but has kept it to himself. Now Lucas Raine has lead the Raine of Fire project. He has failed like the others. But there was something different about him. Lucas was helped by Airez. Airez proposed that Lucas should conceive with Maria, put the injections in the baby before it leaves the womb and see how that turns out. Airez didn't know what he was doing. He liked Maria but he was confused. Funny how being simply confused basically gave birth to the entire Angelus race. Now two promising babies, Liam and Leira Raine have been produced. These two are the children of Lucas and Maria Raine and have been a complete success. Dhaku, Lucas, Solstice and any other scienteist who worked on the project rejoiced incredibly. The two children were better than they even expected! Solstice appraised Lucas as Airez stood in the shadows, watching. Jealous of Lucas for getting the credit. Jealous of everyone giving him a thumbs up for the great job he did. But most of all, jealous Lucas conceived with Maria.... |

~Chokepoint! Part One: Rumblings~ ~Xin~ The older brother to Leira and Liam Raine ran across the rooftops. His breath rapidly getting louder as he continued the marathon in order to get to his mission. Xin held both his staff and the Necromnicon book in his hands underneath his black cloak. 'I know what must be done, Master Abyssion. I must take one of the Raine children and take him or her to you for your vessel....' Can you stand one of your kinsman dying by your hands? Abyssion asked telepathically. "Kinsman? I never considered either of those wrecthes my siblings. I have no feelings for either of them." Abyssion nodded mentally, glad that he double checked Xin's intentions. Now go! To the lab, I'm sensing she knows... ~Maria~ The mother grabbed Liam and Leira by the wrist in the dark of night. "Come on kids. We have to leave, move quickly." Maria said. The young Leira looked up at the woman. "Mommy whats going on? You look worried..." Tears began to form in the girls eyes. Maria knelt, hugged and wiped away her daughters' tears. Leira hugged back. Maria looked to Liam, smiling as he put on a strong face like always. "Let's go." The trio began their run . . . ~Airez~ He yawned in the lounge. Airez had just woken from a very nice nap and sat up from the couch. 'I guess I'll see if anyone's around...' Airez got up to see Sync and Largo standing in front of a wide window. Their eyes plastered to the black sky. A lightning bolt came dashing down from the heavens, making a loud crackling noice. Airez's shoulders went up a little in surprise. Largo smiled and laughed silently. "That's what me and Sync here are trying to avoid. Solstice says that lightning is the fastest thing he ever made on Carleon. I figured if we got used to its sudden movements we wouldn't flinch to anything we stood against." He explained. Airez nodded saying: "Well thats a good theory...." Boredom struck over Airez suddenly. "You better watch out, Commander. Arietta's been looking for you again. Lucky for you we told her that you were out." Sync said not taking his eyes off the sky. Airez smiled saying a thank you to his comrades. He put his hands in his pockets and started to walk out of the lounge. 'Hmm.....I'm actually bored. That's weird for me . . .' |

~Chokepoint! Part two: The Confused Warrior decides all fates'!~ Airez was now in his full suit of black armor about to go spar with anyone he could find when he sensed something. The feeling of desperation suddenly filled the air . . . Airez put his back to the wall and heard three pairs of feet running toward him. He peeked to see Maria, Leira and Liam coming down. His heart lifted when he saw Maria but he glared at her two children. "DIEEE!!!!" An explosion was created behind the runners. Airez gasped. "What the hell!? Xin!?" He ran toward them drawing his sword and shield. Somehow, Airez couldn't see, but one of the children tripped stopping Maria. Airez looked back thus leaving himself open. Xin was all over him, kicking and punching the follower of Solstice. Airez raised his shield to defend against some attacks. "Sword Rain!" He said but all thrusts missed the older Raine sibling completely. "I thought Solstice made you quick for a reason!" Xin mocked doing a sweeping kick to knock Airez to the ground. "Fire Guardian Field!" Airez shouted. An orb of flame surrounded him and pushed Xin back. Airez pointed Flamberge at Xin. "Why? What's going on, Xin?" He narrowed his eyes. "Maria has had too many children! She has been infected she'll die soon!" Airez stampped his foot. "But she can still make children!" 'WHAT AM I SAYING!?' Airez thought not knowing what to do. "Enough!" Xin threw a card at Airez's leg, paralyzing him. He crouched unable to move. "Now mother, feel the sweet relief of death!" "NOOOOO!!!" Airez stabbed Xin in midair. Only for the illusion to vanish. Airez's eyes widened as he saw that he was truly stabbing Maria. She coughed up blood and cried out. "No.....no.....WHY?" He pulled the sword out of her and caught hr before she collapsed the ground. Her eyes were glazed with the look of death. Airez didn't notice that both Leira and Liam had escaped after Maria had place their seals on them. "It's alright *cough and big gasp* Airez I know you liked me......Maybe just maybe if things were different...." She was now pale white. "No come on you can survive this!" Maria moved her head closer to his. "Forgive my cruelness..." Her lips touched his. Then Airez's world shattered as Maria sealed his memory right before dying... |
