So I just got home from a weekend trip of visiting my father.

Man, you won't believe my card collection from back in the day.

I have cards with Babe Ruth, Nolan Ryan, Steve Avery, Dave Justice, Cal Ripkin (signed), Cal Ripkin Jr., Joe Montana, Dan Marino, Troy Aikman, Deion Sanders (in his Braves uniform), Darryl Strawberry, Ken Griffey Jr., and so many more; a full collection of the Hess trucks (from the 80's), and as well three autographed baseballs (one Cal Ripkin Jr., the other two signed by the entire Braves team in 92 IIRC with one still in the original package), and as well I have from the Las Vegas 500 I got to go as a kid to the #42 Kyle Petter Mellow Yellow car and t-shirt. XD

Looking forward to hearing more about what you got bro. My Son and I have a huge collection that my friend gave as a gift to us both. We are big NFL fans with a huge NFL card stash, but just as well we are both Baseball fans. We got a whole can full of 100's of baseball cards that he gave us not too mention those I had from growing up. We just might have to talk some trading business if you have any doubles? ~BH

Heh, I quit being a baseball fan in 1997 when the Atlanta Braves traded Dave Justice and Steve Avery to the Indians. Being that I was born in Kennesaw, GA in 1983, I was a huge fan of the Braves, but more specifically those two players; I was pissed about the trade, and not just that it was Dave Justice or Steve Avery, but that they were traded to a long-time rival.

If I ever watched baseball again, it would be to root for the Arizona Diamondbacks or any team to beat the Braves.

Other than that, Football became my main sport by 1997 though as I became a fan of the Green Bay Packers as they destroyed the Patriots in the Super Bowl.

Anyhow, I'm just interested in the monetary value of my cards now, and if they're worth what I think they're worth that's some great news for me as it'll be the break I need.
