I am surprised not many other people have played this yet. I did, however, seem to talk the manager of the local Gamestop to play it.

the game sold pretty decent I think for a visual novel game, but a good selling game in a niche genre doesn't mean much...

If they would release 999 for the Vita, I would buy it instantly.

I have a DS, but don't use it or take it with me while working.

you should be able to get it for 20$, you should really play it, it will help you to understand parts of VLR (or alternatively, you could alway read about the story online)

I have read about some of the parts and VLR was good about detailing the main story of 999. I just don't want to waste my money on a DS game. I will continue to hope for a Vita version.
