The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - I did not think anything this generation could top Fallout 3, but this game does. It is the best RPG of this generation The world is more full of interesting and in depth quests and characters than any previous game in the series. The combat is much better than any previous game in this series. IF you want to be a full time mage, that is finally a doable option. The favorites list is a godsend, and the dragon shouts are awesome. There is so much to love about this game. IT vastly outnumbers the things to not like. Basically the only thing that gamers would not appreciate About this game are the bugs. That's it. Everything else is golden. Even the animations, which have been awkward for years, are much better in this game. They could learn a thing or two from Rage, though. |

Yup, Skyrim was a very good game. I liked it a lot, despite the bugs. Playing as an archer/assassin can become sort of silly later on in the game though. With the right skills you can become nearly invisible, even while running around in the daylight! Also, with that sneak attack perk that lets you do like 15x damage, it is possible to one-shot everything but dragons. Like I said, silly, but fun. |

Done with Devil Survivor 2, another great game from Atlus, the story in this one is not as intense as the first one but I like the endings better, there are also more characters, the battle system is pretty much the same as with the demon fusion and skill hack. The soundtrack is really good too. I would strongly recommend it to any SMT and DS1 fans. Also done with Shifting world, a bit disappointed at the execution, for a game as simple as this one, the gameplay should have been flawless, yet the jump is unresponsive, random slowdown happens when you press on switches and when you pick up keys. Even better, a freaking glitch at the last level that almost prevented me from finishing the game, it took me like 8-9 trials before I was able to get pass that stupid zone. Other than that, it's a decent puzzle game. 19 Xbox360: Call of Duty: Black Ops Dragon Age: Origins Shadows of the damned PS3: God of War III Vanquish PSP: Astonishia Story Brave Story: New Traveler Corpse Party Hammerin' Hero Rebuild of Evangelion: 3nd Impact Star Ocean: Second Evolution Gameboy: Donkey Kong Land Klonoa: Empire of Dreams 3DS: Nano Assault Shifting World Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island NES: Contra DS: Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 Edited by kknd, Jun 11 2012, 08:35 AM.

I did not really get into the sneaking skills much. I maxed out destructive magic, restoration magic, one handed weapons and heavy armor. |

I finished Dragon's Dogma yesterday. While the game world is pretty detailed and has quite a lot to do, it ends up feeling like there's not enough to do. The lack of fast travel was clearly done to pad the game time, because the world is actually quite linear. The endgame is pathetic. The final dungeon pops up right in the only city in the game, which gives you no incentive to explore the game world at all at that point. Sure there's tougher enemies to fight in the game world, but its still the same old places I've already been to. I might trade it in, I have no interest in replaying it. 3 more games done: Fate/Unlimited Codes - the game is waaayyy too easy, at least for the default difficulty, still not a bad fighting game for 10$, definitely recommended to fans of the anime series or visual novels. Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law - the game is funny, but the game itself is kind of boring, would have been great if they made it as solid as the phoenix wright games, still, I enjoyed all the cutscenes (which is like 90% of the game). Lollipop Chainsaw - Great game, even better than No More Heroes IMO, so tfm, you're in for some real treats, a very typical suda51 game, they did improve the gameplay from their previous games (which are already pretty good IMO) I just read the IGN review like just now and all I have to say it fuck the review and enjoy the game :D 22 Xbox360: Call of Duty: Black Ops Dragon Age: Origins Shadows of the damned PS3: God of War III Lollipop Chainsaw Vanquish PSP: Astonishia Story Brave Story: New Traveler Corpse Party Fate/Unlimited Codes Hammerin' Hero Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law Rebuild of Evangelion: 3nd Impact Star Ocean: Second Evolution Gameboy: Donkey Kong Land Klonoa: Empire of Dreams 3DS: Nano Assault Shifting World Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island NES: Contra DS: Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 |

I cannot wait to play Lollipop Chainsaw. I still have a bit left to play to finish Diablo tomorrow and then I'm all set. @Doomer: Dragon's Dogma looked like a good game. I've decided to hold off on buying a copy though, simply because it's from Capcom, and I've lost faith in them as a publisher to not nickel and dime me with each new release. |

Done with Darksiders, it's a good game, but the last dungeon and what comes after were horribly long, it's a good game that more people should be playing. Spoiler: click to toggle

I just finished Batman: Arkham Asylum. I have not played City, but this is, without a doubt, the best Batman game I have ever played. It nails the Batman universe very well. It is an extremely dark and atmospheric game. The voice cast is great, of course. Mark Hamill is always awesome as the Joker. The rest of The Animated Series cast is great, as well, and it is fun to see them do something even more mature than the show was. The gameplay is a lot of fun, and you get a number of Batman’s cool gadgets. There are tons of secrets to find and a bunch of challenge maps, leading to a lot of replay value. This game is a real treat to anyone that is a Batman fan and, more specifically, anyone that was a fan of Batman The Animated Series (And, lets be honest, who does not like that show? It was freaking brilliant!). The only thing that could have made this better is if it had had the iconic score from Tim Burton’s Batman. Play this one if you haven’t. It is pretty much perfect as a Batman game. |

I loved Batman AA. I still need to play AC sometime soon. It is very near the top of my stack, only Lollipop Chainsaw is higher, which should be delivered to my house tomorrow. I didn't spend $100 on the limited edition of AC to not play it after all. I finished Diablo 2 tonight. Or, at least I finished my first run through the game. I had a good time playing this game. Also, since it was my first ever PC game (outside of stuff like Sim City and Oregon Trail) it was an interesting experience to play a game without a controller. I have no desire to run through the game again anytime soon, but perhaps one day, many years from now, who knows? |

I really want to play Lollipop Chainsaw. Diablo 2 ranks extremely high on my "best RPGs ever" list. Probably top 5 |

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary - beautiful remake and a joy to play SoulCalibur: Broken Destiny - I know this isn't really a "campaign" type of game but that gauntlet mode is such a piece of crap and brutally long... about to finish FFIII and DQVIII finally... wooo.... 7 years... |
