I finished playing Kirby's Epic Yarn tonight. 100% complete! This game was fun. Most of the game is very easy, but the challenge does ramp up a little bit towards the end of the game. The challenge only appears if you are going for 100% completion though, since the only reward in this game is different color fabric patterns to decorate Kirby's apartment. In other words, this game requires a bit of self-motivation to keep playing through the tedious easy stuff in order to make it to the more difficult challenges near the end. I realize I just made this game sound terrible, but it really isn't. This game has more character than any I've played since Katamari Damacy. This game oozes cuteness. The gameplay is varied and benefits from all of the neat ideas spawned from the idea of a world of yarn. Swinging from buttons, pulling zippers to reveal hidden paths, and turning into different vehicles keep the game feeling fresh throughout. I enjoyed the shmup parts of the game the most. Edit: I just realized that I was grading on the 7-10 scale, which is pointless. So I've decided to drop the grades completely. Edited by thinkfreemind, Jan 29 2012, 11:04 PM.

Fallout 3 GOTY edition including all 5 DLC packs. 100%. Level 30. 118hours 38 minutes 41 seconds. 15mb save file times 130 saves. This game is getting burned to death. The glitches in this game nearly make it unplayable.

Fallout 3 was amazing :| Medal of Honor: Frontline on the PS3. I did not play the original, so I do not know if the bugs were in the original game. This game has some strange bugs, though. The music and the footstep sounds will cut out randomly at times. It, also, locked up on me once. That being said, I enjoyed this game a hell of a lot. It goes to show what great music, good level design and weapons that are fun to fire can do for a shooter. They can stand the test of time very well despite an AI that is no longer good and aging graphics. I would highly recommend picking this up for either the PS2 or the PS3. It is one of the best WWII shooters that I have ever played |

I finished playing Kirby Mass Attack last night. I didn't like this game very much for the reasons I've mentioned elsewhere earlier this week. Frankly, I was glad when this game was over, as I haven't quit a game in a couple of years and didn't want to start now. This game has a good concept, but when stretched into a full release instead of a mini game, it quickly becomes a chore to play. This is by far my least favorite Kirby game ever. |

Today I finished Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary for the Xbox 360. The redone graphics and sound are a vast improvement. The bland and lifeless grey walls that plagued the original are pretty much gone. That being said, you are still fighting the same small group of enemies in one identical looking room after another. This game is just as repetitive as it was the first time that I played it. The story is still a good one, though. While the game does not impress from a technical level, the art design is nice. I did pretty well for achievements on this one. I got 25 of 44. The only ones that I did not get are the ones that require either co op play or playing the game on Heroic difficulty or higher. I beat it on normal. |

Halo 2 - The ending is rushed, but everyone knows that by now. It is not satisfactory at all. This is my second time through the game. I don't remember a single thing from my first playthrough of this game at all. It is a decent continuation of the Halo lore, but the Arbiter's half of the story is a lot better than the Master Chief's half. It felt a lot more in depth. It is still repetitive with levels that are overly long, much like the first game. IT isn't as good, either. The sense of wonder of the first game is gone |

Yes, actually. I started it already. I picked it up for 5 bucks. Why not? If I do not like it, it was 5 bucks. |

It's worth $5. All games, no matter how bad cannot be hated if they only cost $5. |

I am 6 missions into it now. The repetitiveness of the previous 2 games seems to be, largely, gone. IS this game shorter than Halo 1 and 2? It feels like it |

I finished playing Kirby's Return to Dreamland tonight. This was a very fun game and it was nice to play a traditional Kirby game after having just finished the lackluster Mass Attack. There isn't really too much to say about this game to be honest. The levels are all pretty standard stuff and the difficulty was pretty easy. The only cool new addition to this game are the special power-ups in some different stages that let you do massive damage to everything on the screen, both enemies and obstacles. This special power is also used in a couple of boss battles as well. The standard extras like challenge rooms, mini-games, and an arena mode are all here, in addition to the EX game which is supposed to be a more challenging new game+. I haven't played the EX mode yet and I plan on saving it for some other time due to the vast number of other games I want to play right now. My final opinion is that this is a must have game for any Wii owner. It's a lot of fun and there is plenty of content as well. |

And I finished Halo 3. IT was a decent game. The repetitive nature of the first 2 games is basically gone. The mission on the Flood ship is kind of a pain in the ass and not fun. The story was good, though. It was a decent conclusion to the series. That being said, what the hell happened to the Covenant tearing itself apart with the war between the Elites and everyone else? That was basically dropped for this game. It's just like "Well, the elites are now friends with the humans" and that's it. |
