I plan on getting this game soon enough. Thanks for not spoiling anything.
I can never tell when someone is being sarcastic online or not.

OOOOOOOOH. No, I wasn't being sarcastic. I didn't click the spoilered part. I really was thanking you for not spoiling anything. So often, people start talking about a game like this and just cannot help themselves but to say too much.

I just beat Dino Crisis for the PSone. I played it on the PS3, so I played it in HD and all that crap. I got all of the endings. Getting them all took a lot longer than I wanted it to, but I did it, damn it. This is a good game. IT is said to be just Resident Evil with dinosaurs. To an extend, that is true. That being said, this game improves and refines the Resident Evil 1-3 formula in a number of ways that help to make it a better game. The first one that you will notice is the graphics. This game does not prerender anything. IT, instead, builds everything out of polygons. I think it looks better for it. The out of date character models no longer look out of place in a prerendered background. It is, also, one of the better looking PSone games. This, also, improves upon the Resident Evil formula with the ability to move and shoot. Why, then, did it take until RE6 for this to happen? It makes no sense. Anyway, this game has it, and it is a defini
te improvement. The save system is better, as well. You are no longer limited in how many saves you can use by things like an ink ribbon. That was, always, just an artificial way of increasing the difficulty. It has been replaced here with save rooms. As long as you are in a save room, you can save. IT is a much better system. This game, also, has a much better sense of direction than the first 3 Resident Evil games. There are several moments where the game flat out tells you "go hear" and several others where it gives you ideas of where you are supposed to go. There are still moments where it gives you no clue as to what you are supposed to do, as well. That is still frustrating, but it is an improvement, for sure. This game, also, teaches you without a tutorial by doing things like starting you on a linear path with minor exploration, having obvious items behind shelves and a very basic puzzle that all help to teach you how the game works. IT eases you into it instead of just dumping you in like the first Resident Evil does. The voicework and dialog are better with less flat out cheesy moments. HAving said all this, the controls are, still, ass. IT still frustrates and detracts from the fun of the game while adding nothing to the horror. It is a good game, though. I like it better than the early Resident Evil titles because of all of the refinements it makes to the formula.

/scattered thoughts that I am too tire to organize into paragraphs. I may do that in a review.

I finished Zero Escape: Virtua's Last Reward (obviously) amazing game! but like a lot of people said the ending is really confusing, I personnally got the story until the last 5 minutes where they started to throw tons of BS without explaining them properly, maybe a sequel?

also done with Resident Evil 5, I did this alone and I think the game is definitely better with 2 human players, the partner AI is "not bad" until you have to rely on her for some life or death situations. The move control was pretty good, but I don't personnally see that much of an improvement over the wii remote control for resident evil 4 though...
I also did both DLCs and I think they are waaayyy too short to worth the 10$? that Crapcom charged at the beginning (I got in for "free" since it came with the gold edition) Gears of War 3 had a full chapter for DLC and they charged 15$ for it (5h worth of gameplay)

Also done Final Fight, I don't know it's me who got bad in beat 'em up or it's just the arcade version that's waaayyy harder than the SNES version, but I was burning through continues non stop.

Finished Asura's Wrath, it's a decent game. The game is a bit repetitive and puts a bit too much emphasis on buttons mashing and QTEs. The graphic is nice but looks kind of odd. The characters are blend and not very likeable and the story is kinda meh. A game to play if you have nothing else to.

I finished Final Fantasy IV: The After Years, feels more like FFIV: The side quests lol, most of the stuff they put me through are redundant and most of the dungeons in the game are recycled from FFIV, even most of the bosses. Overall, it's a mediocre RPG.

I also finished Ikazuchi no Senshi Raidy: Haja no Raikou, did not enjoy the grinding near the end :/

Another game on the list is Too Human, oh boy, there's so many things going wrong in this game it'll take forever to name them all. In other words, not recommended.

I finished New Super Mario Bros U. This game was excellent and is the best of the NSMB games. Nintendo should stop right now with this formula as there is nowhere to go but down, and we'll end up with another terrible Mario game like NSMB2.

The challenge in this game, like all of the NSMB games, is found in trying to get all of the gold coins in each stage. Some of these were very difficult to get and required losing a lot of lives. The Superstar Road stages are damn near impossible and I haven't completed them all yet, but I love the challenge.

If you guys get a WiiU, this game is definitely worth the purchase.

How was Hyper..Nept..?

I finished Assassin's Creed Revelations yesterday. Honestly, I didn't enjoy this game very much at all, until the ending. It felt like an expansion pack more than a full game, until the ending. I didn't like the Den Defense mini game, or the Portal-like Desmond missions. Overall, I'd say that this was the weakest of the AC games so far.

I have AC3 for the WiiU, but I'm not going to start that until next year, after my vacation to Georgia for a few days. Hopefully, it is a better game.
