Ocyd, I doubt you are helping. At all.

I have seen a lot of people saying that this is 'payback' for Pearl Harbor. It is just stupid. It is so stupid, in fact, that are they really worth the time and effort that it takes to be angry at them?

Language warning:

I'm sorry, but fuck anyone who brings up Pearl Harbor. Hiroshima and Nagasaki ring any bells? They launched an assault against a military establishment. We went after their civilians. Could you imagine something like that being done to the US? Do you remember how people reacted to 9/11? Not to mention all the shit we did to the Japanese Americans living in our fucking country. Internment camps?

Doesn't count. God's on OUR side. Infallllabblee, bitchhhes!

Here is a wide array of afterbirths who have done irrepressible disservice to the planet by wasting its oxygen.

Skimming through this, am disappointed someone actually said "God's on our side." :brickwall:

To Nate's point, I've always thought it is kind of fucked up that we (the U.S.) are the nation that gets to decide what other nations around the world can have nuclear programs. That we, the only nation to have used nuclear weapons against another, are somehow best able to cast judgement on the character of other countries' nuclear ambitions is quite stupid. At least, that's what I think.

On a not at all related note, the new #1 song on Oricon is SKE48 "Banzai Venus" and while it absolutely pains me to give any kind of props to the 48 idol groups given the blatant absurdity of everything about them, its video managed to inadvertently piece together a pretty nice symbolism of unity that at least seems tastefully timed well, considering the video concept is nothing new and the choreography is pretty lazy, even incorporating all those people. 8) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IVehPbXLGtY

That's what I got. We can move on now.

That's an entirely different discussion. Seeing as most every single one of these countries trying to create nuclear weapons would like to use them against the US or a close US ally coupled with the US having the world's largest economy by a fairly sizable margin, which could run the potential of crashing the world economy and degrading human life worldwide, I honestly don't think it's all that selfish to control regulation on that front. I know you're all about equality and fairness and anti-capitalism or anti-America or whatever, but it's flat out not a good idea to allow some of these countries to have nukes no matter what your political stance is, and that's not fucked up to regulate it.

You got three of those correct. I am not anti-American though. I just know this country could be so much better. :thumb:

Note: I had written more, but decided not to post it due to how my controversial opinions might not come across correctly when typed, instead of spoken.

Some would disagree, arguing deterrence theory/mutual assured destruction

Personally I think there should be a complete nuclear disarmament... but since I doubt the US, its allies or any of the other countries with nukes would agree to that, I'm with tfm

Like I said. Are people that stupid even worth the time and effort that it takes to get mad at? They will probably fall down an open elevator shaft or play football in the middle of a highway or something
