This CD is better than I expected. I just wish there was more. Minus the intro, outro and two versions of Welcome to DC, we're down to only 8 tracks. :(

Still, surprisingly awesome. Welcome to DC isn't even top of the heap for me on here.

Yeah... Welcome to DC is definitely a "strategy" track. It garnered them a lot of respect and buzz around the city... It was basically the anthem for our town and even made it to be the theme song for the Washington Wizards to come out to...

You've got a LOT of very talented and very experienced musicians and producers in that group. Some of them have been playing professionally since the 80s. It's no wonder their ish is well put together...

It's funny you mentioning "Welcome To DC" brought back my memory of Black sending it to me to review before they released it. That joint made me get up and go play my congos to it in my basement... I kirked when I first heard it.

Oh yeah, it's definitely a killer track. It just surprised me because I was expecting it to be the only killer track like most truly underground groups like this and the rest to just be passable.
