:? :? Was enjoying it, but it's getting extremely repetitive now. Two chase sequences? Both exactly the same with different mechs?! Even though the cloud has horrible controls, they somehow thought including not one but two chase sequences with it would be a good idea?! I feel like this game could have used a few more months of development for technical issues alone (sound is constantly dropping out or out of sync with the characters), more time to develop the story and plot would have been good too. Maybe they could have come up with more varied filler, instead of feeling the need to just rehash gameplay from earlier in the game. |

The story was great up until the very final plot twist, which was so awful it ruined the damned game. The dialogue and character interaction is second only to Uncharted. The controls are clunky, but adaptable. I liked the chase sequences. My only problem gameplay-wise was that you absolutely had to have stun all on hard mode to survive combat and it took me a long while to realize that was my problem. It should've come standard. |

SPOILERSPOILERSPOILERSPOILERS Finished it last night. Not sure how I feel about the ending. I think the story took a dive awhile ago-like after the events of returning Trip to her village. I feel like the journey to her home would have been more than enough. They could have just made it about the journey...or the.. odyssey. Seeing the unique relationship develop between them along the way. I think the whole going after the slavers bit was unnecessary. And the very last Andy Serkis bit at the end just didn't fit with the rest of the game. I haven't yet read Journey to the West, so maybe they were loosely trying to mirror the events in the book and it will make more sense after I've read those books, idk. |
