All companies are the same. Microsoft, unfortunately, must have crappy engineers and/or atrocious quality control. I'm thinking, both. It could just as easily be Sony. Sony has the benefit of experience. Microsoft doesn't have the same amount of experience in the field of engineering and manufacturing electronics and hardware. It's no coincidence one of the 360's main strengths is it's UI. Plus, 360's are a lot more like PC's in that their innards are a mix of components that weren't necessarily designed to work together. I think PS3's are better designed in that respect.

It's not worth it guys. If fs didn't see anything wrong with Sony's actions when the PS3 came out, he's certainly not going to see any now (besides the obvious theft of technology that they had previously mocked). I had a whole response typed and posted, but I deleted it cause we kind of lost sight what topic we were posting in.

Anyway, verm lemme know what your PSN tag is, chief. Not to play online games with you, but to watch you and see what you're playing on the internet. BWAHAHA!

And if you need any recommendations, holler at me. I've been putting just about anything and everything I was interested in this past year through its paces. Games are just so goshdarned affordable these days!

The ps3 can't even run the forum software on thier official site. You'd think they'd want to resolve something like that but no. Kinda makes me a little sad when they are running adds sayin "it does everything" when it fails in it's own front yard.

Yeah, the PS3's browser is pretty sad. Does the 360 have one? Either way I don't ever use my consoles for internet browsing.

All corporations are greedy bastards who want your money, end of story.

Oh and Seganet ran through Cable Television, not the internet.
Not on the Dreamcast. There, it ran through the 56k modem (or the broadband modem, if you bought on). Regardless, it really was the first successful online gaming service on consoles. I used to play Quake 3 on it a lot

Experience? Did you miss the part where I said they repeatedly screw up Windows? They have plenty of experience at that. Furthermore, their first attempt at a console was a lot more stable than their second

Nope./ The 360 does not have a browser. That always struck me as a little odd. The Dreamcast had a browser. The PS3 has one. The Wii has one (Do you still have to pay for that one?) The PSP has one, as well.

Nope, the Wii one is free. And they actually refunded everyone a free NES Virtual Console game who paid for it. ;)
