Kinda confused why I didn't buy this game on release day. It's really good. You PS3ers need to pick this up when it comes out. Fer sure. :D

I plan to pick it up for the PS3 even though I beat it twice on the 360. ME was the only reason I was holding onto my 360, now I don't have to.

I don't know what to do about this series, in all honesty. I can play 1 but not 2 on my PC. I can play 2 but not 1 on my PS3. The fact that it transfers data kinda makes it annoying to play the game, set up my story and then BAM! new character in the sequel with none of that history. :?

The PS3 version will come with an interactive comic that will allow you to make the same decisions that ME1 did and will also be carried over into ME2.

It allows you to make the same decisions or it just recaps the story? Cause I've heard both accounts.

From Bioware's forums:

We've talked briefly about the Interactive Comic. BioWare Edmonton (the group that made Mass Effect 2) teamed up with the fine folks at Dark Horse Comics to create an interactive backstory. While I can't release all the details about this yet, what I can tell you is that we want to create a stunning visual experience that not only tells the core story elements of Mass Effect 1, but also is fully interactive allowing you to be faced with some of the major choices which will have consequences your Mass Effect universe. This interactive comic's initial release will be exclusive to PS3 owners who would be otherwise unable to realize the full effect of choice in the Mass Effect universe and will be included on the Cerberus Network.

I lost my save from ME1, but it was all good because the default ME2 storyline was exactly how it played out for me in the first. I mean, exactly.

I really need to get off my butt and play ME2. I bought the game several months ago, and I even bought the DLC when they marked down Kasumi and the Overlord DLC packs last month. The few hours I have played of the game have been fantastic.
