soccer moms, youngins and the 50yr old ladies... and (I hate to use this term) hardcore gamers who owns more than 1 consoles which happens to be either xbox360 and Wii or PS3 and Wii, those are most likely the JRPG buyers. There are tons of them too. Nintendo has been pulling stupid moves though, localizing some random RPG aka Glory of Heracles instead of anticipated titles like Last Story? WHAT ARE THEY THINKING?! |

No daylight, I'm too weak to face it!
|
But is that Nintendo doing that, or the publishers of the games? Maybe their market research team in Japan isn't up to speed and are making the assumption that what I typed was true. |

Apparently, an English release is still possible, it just has not been scheduled yet. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=419442 |

after a 40/40 on Nintendogs, I kind of lose my respect for Famitsu's reviews. :P |

Is Radiant Historia supposed to be any good? I recall it having a grid based system or some such nonsense. Leave the standard RPG battle system be devs! |

Battle system sounds kind of interesting. It seems that kind of thing pops up every now and then. Kind of a cheap way to add in strategy elements. |

I wasn't interested in Radiant Historia until I read the first paragraph from wikipedia Radiant Historia (ラジアントヒストリア, Rajianto Hisutoria?) is a role-playing game developed and published by Atlus for the Nintendo DS.[1] The game's development team mostly consists of Atlus staff who previously worked on games like Persona 3, Strange Journey, Nocturne, and Etrian Odyssey games.[3] The development team also includes other members who had previously worked on Radiata Stories. Yoko Shimomura of Kingdom Hearts fame composed the soundtrack.[1] The game was released on November 3, 2010 in Japan, and will be released in North American on February 22, 2011[4] ... OH GOD!! Edited by kknd, Jan 23 2011, 12:32 AM.

You know what game genre I'd like to see? Choose Your Own Adventure. I'd like it to be all visual novel with no annoying puzzle elements that adventure games are hung up on, but with branching conversations and alternate paths through the story. |

I recently fired up Disgaea 2 for no real reason, and I remembered how it's far and away one of the best games I've ever played, even if Dark World 7-1 is so specific and that it kind of becomes taxing if you happen to mess one of the steps up. It reminded me how much I straight up player hated on Disgaea 3. So I thought I'd check it out and now it's installing something fierce. Not fair. |

It's the trophes and about a half dozen other patchs. It's weird seeing somebody else playing it makes me want to pick it up again. Where'd I read some of the data carries over to Disgaea 4? I think D2 was just cleverer all around whech made it better and they didn't have the chance to nickle and dime you to death with all the should've been included dlc characters and other features. |
