HOLY CRAP. That's a many, many thousands of hours to 100% list there. I played for around 150 hours and I was early 20s Warrior and late teens Monk. And they want you to hit 75 in every class??? |

That's bizarre. Amazon knows what games I've bought from them and constantly gives me trade in prices for them in the sidebar. SMG2's price has been rising over the past couple of weeks from 25.50 to 27.50 to now 30.00. Considering they sell it new for 41.00, that's a ridiculously high price for a trade in. |

Wait until it hits $42 and then trade it in and then buy a new one and pocket the difference. |

I don't think this game looked all that interesting, but it is disappointing regardless. It's something I may have given a look down the road. |

If I had to pick between this and DQVI, I'd definitely go the latter, but still, disappointing. |

Goddammit Nintendo. If Xenoblade doesn't come out here, then I'm not sure if I want my Wii anymore. That's such bad news. :( It's hard for me to believe that after reading this. Nintendo is so full of shit. Like one of the user comments said, Nintendo is back to their 90s BS of not releasing JRPGs out here for stupid reasons. I wish we could hear from one of the developers about this. Edited by doomer, Jan 20 2011, 10:47 PM.

well... if we look on the bright side... AQ interactive still haven't proved that they can make great games yet. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AQ_Interactive I still hope that there would be enough Wii RPG fans to convince a localization though. Edited by kknd, Jan 20 2011, 10:55 PM.

To be honest, the companies involved, and the fact the whole thing just looks like Team ICO's take on Mass Effect's battle system to me kind of made me wonder about its quality. I know it got a 38/40 in Famitsu, but given Famitsu's general track record on big titles, I'd just as soon take that to mean Mistwalker paid well. The excuse is pretty weak though. Since when was the European market a reason to not release something in the US market? When was the last time that happened? It's a proven fact video games can cross the Pacific, but most Japanese games get sunk by a giant iceberg in the Atlantic because of something to do with foreign waters. I can't vouch for the quality of this game, but I can say judging on the JRPGs that do get brought over, there's really no reason this one shouldn't, especially given the market for JRPG hungry Wii owners. |

No daylight, I'm too weak to face it!

Educate me.... Isn't the majority of the US install base for the Wii all the soccer moms, youngins and the 50yr old ladies who thought wii fit would get them in shape? I didn't think a large portion of the RPG world was chillin with wii's in their house. I assumed their thoughts are that most JRPG fans either own a DS or a PS3, so why bother in the states on the wii? |

Maybe it'll get ported to the ps3 since the US market base for the wii doesn't make fiscal sense for it. On a side note I practically understood everything they said :o thanks to watching anime |
