I saw one on the shelves of my local GS store a couple weeks ago when I was looking for Devil Survivor. I figured that they just had one left somehow, not that there was a reprint. Could be though, who knows? |

I can't stand Reggie anymore. When he hit the scene he was full of such big talk, but ever since I can think of nothing positive that he has done for Nintendo or the fans. |

the only thing he did well was hyping the Wii at the beginning... the rest was bull crap at least on gamecube we had RPGs from Nintendo. |

The Wii would have sold just as well without him. He's done nothing but been in the right place at the right time. |

The best thing Reggie did was get Baten Kaitos Origins released out here (because Namco did not want to do it). Otherwise, he has been terrible. |

Nintendo just finished their 3DS conference in Japan. Games shown for the 3DS included MarioKart7, Paper Mario, MarioLand, Kid Icarus, Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem, Dynasty Warriors, Luigi's Mansion, Resident Evil Revelations, Monster Hunter tri-3G, Monster Hunter 4, and a couple of games destined to never leave Japan like a new Hatsune Miku and Gundam Ace games. Also announced was a new "Misty Pink" color for the 3DS. I started watching the event a bit late I think, but there was no mention of any hardware revisions or of that add-on stick for Monster Hunter that I saw. Nintendo showed off some Wii games as well, but chief among them was Zelda: Skyward Sword and that's about it. I seriously doubt we'll see the Rhythm Heaven or Taiko Wii games released here in the States. |

Kinda pissed they couldn't bring out a serviceable Mario game for the DS. Looks fun though. :\ |

Been playing Super Mario World the past couple of days. What strikes me as amazing in this game is how much new stuff you run into as you play. It's no uncommon for you to run into something, think, "WTF is this!?" and then never run into it again. Just speaks volumes to me about the amount of depth in this game that it can continuously pull out new elements that it doesn't even find interesting enough to keep around, where a lot of games struggle to come up with enough new things so it introduces new things, makes a huge stink about it, and forces you to come in contact with said element the rest of the game. Viva la Mario World! Still the King. |

New Super Mario Bros on the DS was pretty fun. The best Mario related game on the DS has to be Super Princess Peach though. I actually bought a copy of this as a Christmas present for my cousin, just because it is was so much fun. Short, but fun. Nintendo did give us a few good Kirby games on the DS though, so that makes up for a lack of Mario in my opinion. |

Wow! The PS Vita press conference was the most boring thing I've ever seen. Hardly any games were shown with the lone standout game being a Zone of the Enders HD remake. Honestly, if I took one thing away from this show it's that the Vita will basically be a portable PS3 with all of the same games. So, if you're into buying games twice, the Vita is for you! Hopefully there will be some Vita game trailers that are exciting during TGS. Edit: I forgot to mention that there is also a Final Fantasy X HD remake in the works for the PS3 and Vita. Edited by thinkfreemind, Sep 14 2011, 12:47 AM.

NSMB for the DS was far and away the worst Mario game ever. Lazy level design, primitive power-ups, confusing map setup. Super Princess Peach was a joy though. A little rough at places, but a really really nice game.
And the 3DS isn't? Seems at least half the games announced are remakes of old games. "But it's in 3D!"? Is there a different level of standard if the game is older? Edited by goodlucksaturday, Sep 14 2011, 06:30 AM.
