I finally found a hard part in Neptunia. I'm 4 lvls over the suggestion and my party is still getting wiped out by random robotic henchmen. Maybe I need to break down and buy some new gear because running from these guys to get to the boss just doesn't seem right. I just dunno. It'd take 3 more runs at that waterbaby pokemon thing too just to raise one more lvl. that'd probably help but I wonder how much at this point since it didn't get much better since i went in there at lvl 30 |

No daylight, I'm too weak to face it!

Dragon Age 2 demo has me passing on the game... It also has me contemplating not effing with Bioware once I finish Mass Effect 3. Bioware can craft intense and emotional situations pretty well, but the gameplay over time does not stay very fun... I dug the first ME because every action you took helped you level... But then I realized that leveling was basically pointless. ME2 has great characters and the storyline was very engaging, but you basically fight down prescripted corridors for the entire game. It seems that Western RPG makers are starting to focus more on experiences and choices versus making the game mechanics fun to engage... I'm not feeling that.. |

Bioware changed the mechanics for the console versions because of the shoddy controls they implemented. The PC version still plays similar to the first game. |

Doesn't matter. I don't want to relive that noise either. I'm just done with the: ** Pre-scripted Battles and Terrain with no exploration at all ** No Reason For Leveling because it is dictated and controlled by the story ** Shatty customization ** RPGs are REALLY about forcing a player to make contrived "world-changing" decisions without enough context and that only have parochial black and white finite outcomes Type games. Bioware seems to be bent on this crap and I'm not down with it. I want to play a game. Not watch a choose your own adventure novel. |

Um, you're absolutely tripping if you're applying that last one to DA:O. Absolutely off your rocker. Because that was the one thing that game did well. |

hmmmmm. Maybe it's the way I worded it. I'm not trying to imply that DA:O did a bad job of it. I just don't like the concept in general. Especially when it's the focus of the game.. Which is Bioware's calling card. Which is what I'm coming to grips with... You know me by now man... I'm a real simple dude... I want to: Explore a vast world and feel a part of it Loot or find treasure Fight Get Stronger Kick Ass  If I get a good story out of the deal, all the better. |

Trophies! :x Nah, it's just gonna probably be like $10 anyway, so I may as well hold out for the pretty version and give the company a sale as opposed to buying used. ;) |

I finally watched that Dead Island trailer that everyone's been hyping so much. Seriously? That was really f---ed up. God knows what's wrong with people that something like that makes them excited to play this game. |

Good God. I went to GS and Target to see what PSP games they had and it was slim pickings. There were 16 PSP games in Target (compared to 141 DS ones). Gamestop was better, but not great. They have a bigger GameCube section, for crying out loud. What was crazy was how PACKED GameStop was. I guess Pokemon BW came out today so EVERYONE was stuffed in that tiny little store. It was insanity. The line must've had 15-20 people in it. |

I ordered it from Amazon. $10 gift card trumps getting it early. Especially when I'm waiting to finish DQVI first anyway. ;) |
