-What is Dragon Age like?
-Ever played Mass Effect? It's basically that with a different setting and battle system.

So... essentially nothing like that, then?

No daylight, I'm too weak to face it!
Finished up Two Worlds 2 last week. Minor let down. I enjoyed it, but less than its broken predecessor. In an effort to "fix" TW1, they broke other stuff that actually worked.

The story and dialog in the first was horrible. And that's what made it fun. It was obviously bad on purpose and made scenes funny to watch. Now the scenes are just as bad, but without the comedy effect.

Still a decent game, but it won't be winning my RPGOTY spot like I was hoping it would.

The magic system in TW2 is supposed to be pretty damned cool...and the game is supposed to be playable this time around

Depending on what people call "playable" I'd argue that the first was more "playable." At least the combat system worked and the controls didn't feel like you were iceskating instead of running.

I never play these games as a mage, so I can't speak from experience... But the people I watched play it online seem like they wreck SHOP as mages.

At least they got the framerate fixed. That's something European Developers have not been able to do on consoles until TW2.

Lol, apparently spamming bonus change trying to get legendary items counts as combo-ing cause it took me more than the number of tries for that trophy to get a legendary arcania.

Playable meaning not excessively buggy. Not broken. No terrible framerate. You know. Can actually be played.

The DQVI slime plushie is pretty nice. Good job Nintendo/GameStop. Still not happy about the letter "T" or the name change, but I might be able to look the other way. :D

The only issue with TW1 is the framerate and broken visuals in certain areas. I never encountered any serious bugs or game breaking situations. There could have been a broken quest or two, but I don't remember getting them... And I can only speak to the 360 version. Maybe the PC version had more problems.

TW2 does have a broken quest, but it's not game ending. So both games are "playable." I just think the quality was not up to people's expectations. I think alotta TW haters get hung up on stuff that I just don't care about as long as I'm having fun.

at least it wasn't expensive, I played it's sequel and it was indeed pretty slow... I was just thinking about completing the collection though, I hate to have 1 and 3 and not have 2 :P (only exception being suikoden)

Angry Joe said in his review that he ran across a game breaking bug and had to start over from the beginning at one point
