No daylight, I'm too weak to face it!
This game has some of the WORST, out of place enemy character designs. What the hell are these things that we are fighting? The penguins with no face? I get the Flans, but why are they in the city?

Granted, I guess all Final Fantasy have weird monster designs. But doing that, kinda hurts ones ability to suspend practicality while playing. Why are their Flans and Giant Lizards in the middle of the city? Just doesn't make sense outside of creating an excuse for you to keep fighting.

And ever since the trail cloister things in FFX, we get these weird, "move this platform by pressing the button" sequences. Then we have to wait while the animation goes thru it's paces just to move to the next scene. That breaks up pacing. I wish they'd stop doing that in RPGs.

They explained that in the woods. They're militarized feral creatures. I suppose the motorcycles are just death machines, but the weird creatures are actually explained.

They farm the creatures in these complexes in the woods and use them to keep order everywhere else...?

Weidle's right, though. Didn't you notice at the beginning them summoning gates to pull these mobs from? ;)

I saw the part about the woods. I don't remember seeing anything inside Palumpolum city that explained it.

They pull monsters from portals to keep the peace. They did it during the Purge, so it'd only make sense they'd do it when they have the guys cornered in a city.

They killed my favourite enemy design... The Bombs. They are hexagonal floating boxes with a face that you can barely see.

That kind of upset me too. One blew up in my face and I was thinking "Since when was I fighting a Bomb?" Has anyone ran into a Malboro yet?

I don't even know if there are Malboros in this game, but if they are gonna butcher the design, they might as well leave them out. :x

Janitor flans are the best. Jelly creatures who patrol the underground facilities. I like when you attack one and the others sound their alarm and go heal it.

I thought there was a raid at my apartment building the first time I fought those. Wasn't til after I flushed my stash I realized it was the game
