Who pays tax on PSN again?
We do? :headscratch:
I don't. Florida doesn't. Most states don't.
Apparently Ohio does. Pisses me off.

You may pay tax on PSN cards though since you bought them at a retail store and they don't charge tax upon payment.

No, my account is linked to my debit card. I definitely pay tax on everything I buy.

I'm buying my first thing on PSN right now, and they are charging tax. I live in Illinois.

I don't have to pay tax on PSN cards (and other gift cards/point cards/phone cards for that matter), though. :headscratch:

I pay tax on MS points cards. Or off thier site. I prefer that system over PSN.

You are still paying tax on the same amount so I don't understand why that is better than the other.

Sheba, do you pay tax when you use the PSN card?

Because a game costs 800 points so I know I need 800 points. I can buy a card and know I will have enough. On PSN if a game costs 19.99 it will cost me 23 and change. And since I can only buy $20 min cards and can't hook up debit or anything well a 20 buck game ends up costing me 40

Everything, everything, EVERYTHING!
I started using my credit card on it recently, but I HATE using my credit card. Those bills have a way of sneaking up on me. I also wish I didn't have to make a 5 dollar minimum charge to my card even though I only need 44 cents or something stupid like that. :whatever:

I don't know if PSN will charge tax when I buy something with a PSN card, because I bought Cellfactor with my debit card since it was only $5.

I would assume so since you choose your payment type after seeing the purchase total.

Sales tax on online purchases is due to whether or not the company has a physical location in the same state you are located.
