Just got back from seeing it. It is incredibly intense. Anyone else seen it? Highly recommended. SCorcese is the man

Where dreams come to come true.
I saw this movie like three weeks ago, and no one even pretended to care! I'm going to get all emotional on everyone and start throwing kitchenware out the window!

I'd already read the book, and the movie was EXACTLY the same, so I was a bit bored. It's probably worth seeing once, but once you know what happens, it's a bit empty. ;)

I wouldn't bother. I enjoyed it when I read it, but if you already know what happens *shrug* I'd just read a different Lehane book. Mystic River and the Kenzie-Gennaro series are both better anyways.

It's a good movie. I figured out the basic twist halfway through, but I still enjoyed it. I recommend seeing it, but I also believe there was a perfectly logical reason why it didn't make it in time for Oscar season.
