Let's try something legal, shall we. Both Hulu and Viz are showing Honey and Clover. http://www.Hulu.com http://www.Joost.com http://www.Funimation.com http://www.Vizanime.com http://www.animenetwork.com http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/video/ Edited by DarkCloudLives, Feb 22 2010, 11:59 PM.

Where dreams come to come true.

The art in book is a bit rough early on, but it irons itself out once you get used to it. It's sketch based art as opposed to high quality super art, but it's well worth it for the story and character interactions. The anime is more smooth in terms of art, but this series was more or less aimed at girls, which is why the art reflects that. I'm telling you it's a tremendous coming of age story for people who are older than 15, but if the art is going to cause you issues, then it may be best to look in another direction. 8) |

Finished my 2nd read through of not simple. GREAT book. The first time is a page turner, seeing what happens next and which puzzle piece fits where. The second time you know how it all comes together and you can appreciate all the ridiculously small details sprinkled through. And the art's great. It's deceptively sloppy, but one panel in particular changes meaning entirely when you read it the second time. Also, you start wondering if some little things aren't as throwaway as you think. It'd be a great book to do with a group of people because it can be read, interpretted and viewed a thousand different ways while still having a cohesive whole. Great, great book. |

A kid discovering just how effed up his family is. Anyway, I cancelled my FMA pre-order cause I got NetFlix today instead. So Girl Who Leapt Through Time is #1 on my queue. FMA Disc 1 is also on there, same with Disc 1 of Full Metal Panic, Fate Stay Night and Gundam Wing. Also, a whole bunch of Miyazaki. |

I saw Not Simple a couple of weeks ago and it looked interesting. I was thinking of giving it a go. Will probably have to now. |

Hold on a second, nate. So you praise the artwork for Not Simple, but Honey and Clover's art is too gay for you? |

One is a simple pencilling style, the other is pictures of men snuggling in the bushes in pastels. I don't understand the correlation? |
